Petite télé, pas de douche mais baignoire, fenêtre difficile à fermer. En revanche, l'accueil est fort sympathique et le lit est confortable. Proche de toutes commoditées (fast food, supermarché, métro) à moins d'une minute. De plus le café et le thé est en libre service toute la journée.

This is a very dated hotel. Hot water is scalding hot. Pillows are horrible. Had better pillows on the plane. Room 304 smells as it your in a smoking lounge constantly. Have to turn your room key in daily before you leave the building. Came back to room where for was left open after they cleaned the room. Chair blocking room entrance to room 302. The front staff lock the front doors throughout the day for breaks. Lifts take a long time. No air movement in rooms. Even with Windows open. Very warm in room. Have to use room key to have lights on. There is no bar or room service here. On the plus it is very close to tram stations, food and drinks.

Looking at this hotel you can tell it once was something special. However, that is not the case now. This hotel has construction garbage in the front of it. The lobby is small and under decorated. The chandeliers are ugly and held together with various electrical tape and other items. The elevator is small and scary. The lights do no await you when you get off the elevator. You have to put your key card in a slot on the wall to have lights in the room. So if there are 2 people to the room and one has to leave to get something the other has to sit in the dark. The room has not been updated for well over 50 years. The carpets are filthy and cleaning probably wont help. There is a small 12 inch TV in the room. It is so small nobody wanted to watch it. But they have a sign that if you dont place the remote in a specific place you will be charged $50. There are no screens on the window, no air conditioning, and a small fan that does not oscillate. The curtains are tattered and do not move to provide privacy. There is one OLD iron for the entire floor and 2 ironing boards. There are no wash cloths and we had to use hand towels to bathe, that we had to go and get from the front desk because none were provide to us. The fixtures and furniture are falling apart. There is one cheap thin shower curtain in the bathroom. The mattresses are filthy with a cheap thin mattress cover that offers no protection. The floors of the hotels resemble a VERY old dormitory. It stinks very bad in here.

The service was very good and the staff very friendly but the room was very old and left a lot to be desired. The best part was that it is very close to the underground and extremely easy to get around.

Fairly basic. We were on top floor and room temperature was very warm and impossible to control. Window curtain was not really a curtain and appeared to have had brown paint splashed on it. Water temperature for showering was a mission to control. Only hot, or only cold it seemed. Continental breakfast was adequate, but when we attempted to organise an early breakfast for the following day (as per room compendium), we were told it couldn't be done as staff didn't start until 8am. However, when we complained on checking out, the receptionist arranged something there and then. On the plus side, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area and Earl's Court tube station is 2 minutes away.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is a two minute walk to the Earl's Court Subway Station. There are plenty of good restaurants and pubs in the area, yet it is reasonably quiet. The hotel is an old building that has been modified over the years. Consequently the rooms are very small and there are some odd features in them. The elevator was obviously added after the fact, but hey at least it has one. The rooms are in need of a little updating. The carpet needs replacing and it could use a new mattress. But the service is good and everything seems to be pretty clean. The front desk is attended 24 hours a day, and was helpful anytime we needed anything. The continental breakfast was mediocre. All in all, a decent place for the price paid.

Great Experience! Very good location! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room? Illuminated, always clean. If I went back to London, I'd pick them again.

I tried really hard to like things about this hotel. Only good thing is proximity to underground station. Cockroaches in room, nightclub next door, no heater in room. We left early. We didn't spend that much time in the room but we couldn't sleep due to the music that made the building shake, the loud drunks outside, and the room being so cold. The rooms look nothing like the picture. I'm sorry to say this was the only bad part of our stay in London.

Very clean and very good breakfast.

Not too bad place. Complimentary breakfast. Very close to train station. Lots of restaurants in that neighbourhood. Only issue is the room carpet. Rest of the stuff is fine. I wouldn't mind to go to this place again.

Very nice hotel and very typical English in its decoration with a nice and smiling staff… we have however a big problem of heating there is very hot in our room and the problem was not settled despite our report… it is ideally Located in a street always lively and close to the Metro I recommend.

Comfortable and spacious room. Good breakfast (beware this is not a hotel chain breakfast). Close to the subway. Caution Room 304 much too heated.

The best feature of this place is that it is super close to Earls Court tube station. A minute walk from the tube station and you are at your room. It's super helpful late at night. The rooms were clean and tidy, the staff courteous. They have a 24 hr helpdesk which was helpful while checking out at 4 in the morning. Liked the hotel and will definitely recommend.

My time here at this hotel was absolutely dreadful. After the 2nd night I realized I was being bitten by bed bugs. I had the sheets changed but on my last night I was bitten all over: neck, shoulders, elbow, legs, knee and ankle. When I spoke to the manager/owner about it he basically called me a liar, said they haven't had bed bugs here in 5 years (which I now find is untrue thanks to other reviewers) and then continued to say that those aren't bed bug bites anyway. We argued about it especially when I asked for a partial refund. Putting the bed big issue aside this place really wasn't worth $145 per night. The room was too small, the continental breakfast not that great, the elevator didn't stop on my floor so you had to go up to the floor above and then walk down. Never stay here, however if you do I hope your experience is a lot better than mine.

For a visit to London again and again. Great location, very clean, but absolutely OK, very friendly and helpful staff and adequate breakfast.

No air conditioning in room. On enquiring was told we could just open window. Ceiling fan didn't work. Staff said "no it didn't ". Didn't bother mentioning central heating didn't work either. Toilet roll holder broken. No bedside lamps.
Mattress on bed bowed into the middle. Seats and sofa sagging. Basically the bed was the only place you could sit to watch tv.
No tea and coffee facilities in room. Had to go to ground floor lounge if you wanted coffee or tea.
Elevator wasn't working in morning. Called reception who said try again, lift slow to start in morning. Also memo instructing guests on 3 floor that lift didn't stop there, pls take lift to 4th floor and walk down one flight of stairs. I think lift on stops at 3 on the way down.
Breakfast starts late at 8 am. Wastes too much of your day if you want to sight see.
Bed linen and bathrooms were clean and breakfast was ok. Hot breakfast was extra charge.
On the plus side the room, linen and bathroom were clean and tidy and the staff we polite and helped us book a taxi to meet our tour.

The staff is very nice and super accommodating but the facilities leave much to be desired. Such as the elevator does not goo to my floor so I have one above and walk down. The beds are old and stained as well as the mattress "protector". I asked that it be changed but they didn't have any others but they gladly changed the sheets. The continental was pretty decent and balanced. The oatmeal was amazing.

The Staff was amazing! We showed up way before check in time because our flight got in at 10 am and when we arrived they already had our room ready and let us check in early. They were in the middle of doing repainting in the lobby while we were there and were so apologetic. We did not mind though. Staff was super helpful in giving us tips. The hotel was right near great food. Easy access to the tube. The room was good for sleeping. Not a top notch room but we were satisfied. We really only slept in it. We stayed in august and the night wasn't so bad. Our room had an open window that wouldn't close but that was fine. The city was quiet at night so didn't bother us. The bed in the room we were in was a softer mattress which felt great after walking around the city all day. The club below is only open Fridays and Saturdays and being on the 4th floor we couldn't even hear it below. I gave it 4 stars because the staff was really good and they are trying really hard to get things updated. I think if they can get some of the windows fixed and maybe do a little more updating they can become a really great hotel. We will defiantly look at staying with them again if we go back to London. Thanks guys for making our first trip great!

The hotel is located in a great location. Just a min walk from the Metro and it is surrounded by a variety of stores and restaurants that stay open until midnight, even on a Sunday. This hotel is by no means luxurious but if you're coming just to sleep and shower, you'll be pleased. The rooms are small yet clean but they are extremely HOT in the summer months. With no air conditioning, you will melt! We stayed on the 5th floor and although the night London air was a cool 56°F, our hotel room was at least 85°F making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep. We sweat through the night. The tiny window barely allows any air to stream through and the fan was completely ineffective. Don't stay here during the summer when the weather temps are even as low as 77°F because your room on the top floor will be a sauna! The hotel has a night club beneath it and I've heard complaints from people on the lower floors that the music keeps them awake so if you're going to stay here, pick your poison!

We stayed here in September 2016 — This place is a nightmare. Which is a shame because it looks beautiful from the outside. But we had bed bugs (or a very closely related bug) our first night. They switched us to another room that had even more bugs. So we had to go back to the bed-bug infested room. After our second night we couldn't take it anymore and checked out. But I still am paranoid about bugs ever since, I was bitten all over my body. Avoid this place. We left and went to the Ibes a few blocks away, and it made a world's difference.

Decent for the price. I'd give 5 stars if it had more updated bathroom fixtures and hairdryers. Staff is fantastic and always available to help! It's a block from the Underground and 5 stops to Westminster which is where Big Ben and the London Eye. We were able to find our Bus Tour easily after taking the underground.

Perfect place for an Aussie's first London visit. The staff are very friendly and always willing to answer all dumb travel questions.
Hoping to return some day …

So far, I've stayed here twice. The rooms are clean, the hotel is well-kept overall. I like the little garden they have out behind the building too! The TV'S in both of my rooms were a little on the "tiny" side, but other than that I've enjoyed my stays here. I'll be back the next time I'm in London for sure.

The hotel was out dated. Breakfast was not available before 8:00,. There were only some left overs from the day before. No refund,. Even though I paid for breakfast.

We had a pleasant stay at My Place. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff were polite and helpful. They also provide a full English breakfast if you order the day before, We found it very useful for the West end theatres.

We arrived early and were able to leave luggage in a back room, but when we came back at check-in time the room wasn't ready. Location was handy, but we found a cockroach in our room, and had to get rid of it ourselves. Toilet seat was broken and bathroom floor tiles were wobbly. It didn't seem dirty as such but there were little cobwebs around the room, which made it look a bit tired. Breakfast was served from 8am, which seems a bit late. We had to leave early so couldn't have any, but considering the cockroach perhaps that wasn't a bad thing.

The hotel staff was very helpful. However, the accommodations were less than stellar. The ac was not working my entire stay and the small fan in the room did nothing to cool me off. The room was clean. There was no bar up and running, even though it was mentioned on their website.

The hotel itself could use a little updating. It's a Victorian style hotel, but it was a little old and dirty looking, but it's a place to sleep at night. The staff was very helpful and always willing to help and/or answer our questions. Located about a minute walk from the Earl's Court tube stop, with Piccadilly and District line service. Includes breakfast each morning, but it's a little sparse, mostly cereal, juice, porridge, toast.
