I have traveled all through the world for years, so I know what to expect when booking cheaper accommodations, however the reviews of this hotel are much too generous. The twin rooms were not “spacious” as some reviews claimed. We were first put in a twin room that was most certainly not a twin room. There was absolutely no space for two people to fit any bags and themselves comfortably. If you are traveling with another person and you bring anything larger than a backpack, go for a triple room. The pictures on the booking website are not even close to what the actual rooms look like. Just be prepared. We did upgrade, but it was a fight. The staff told us so many contradictory things it was ridiculous. The bathroom size was great. However, the shower was incredibly small. That normally is not an issue, but with the rainfall shower head, you cannot move out of the water at all to lather, shave, etc. You must turn the water completely off. Cleanliness is not the best. The floors had massive stains and the walls incredibly scratched up. We had a pillow that had a stain on it — not the cover, the actual pillow. No big deal, we just called the front desk. We were told there were absolutely no extra pillows anywhere in the hotel, but they could bring a new cover to hide the stain. However, the worst was the staff and the fact that we did have stuff stolen out of the room. We tore the room apart and had other eyes help up look to make sure the item was truly gone. It was.

The rooms look nothing like pictured. They are tiny. The staff to the counter are rude and unhelpful. We were charged extra to be changed to a different room that was barely larger. When told and shown that a pillow had a pink stain on it they said “we don’t have any extra pillows, here is a new pillowcase. ” I had a necklace taken from my room and the front counter staff accused me of lying and then said there was no possible way anyone got in the room that it must have magically disappeared. They actively tried to prevent me contacting the police about it. They offered not one bit of assistance to try to locate it nor offered any sort of compensation for their hostility and lack of customer service. I’ve been to London 6 times and never experienced any one hotel or otherwise be so dismissive and rude.

We were checked in 2hrs earlier. We were so happy for the service and for looking after the welfare of the customers during this time of pandemic.

We stayed here for my partners 30th birthday. I emailed ahead and sent some banners and balloons which they happily decorated the room with. They also did a towel folded swan on the bed which I thought was sweet! Everything was great. Continental breakfast fab to start the day. Rooms well equipped, lovely and clean. Rooms and reception area etc all very modern. Rooms slightly small but this is what is expected from central London hotel so we were fine with this. Would 100% stay again!

Nice location near central areas and transport so quite good for getting around main sights in London. Lots of restaurants in the area. Reasonably priced and quality and service what you expect. Would come again.

Comfortable and well located. Rooms are small, as often in UK, but recently refurbished and with all you need. Metro and Bus stop is 100 meters walking and in a few stops you are in the center. Pubs and shops in the sorroundings. Recommended.

We had to book this hotel on a short notice. This place is overpriced considering the tiny size of the room. The Wi-Fi is also poor. However, it's only 2-minute walk to Earl's Court station. Also, the housekeeping service is very good and prompt. Would I stay here again? Probably not, unless I have limited choice.

Very nice hotel. I would recommend. Fabulous location. Breakfast was the only disappointment as no vegetables. Basically continental breakfast. Fruit, cereal, coissoints, cheese and jams. Rooms and location make up for it though. Recommended.

The smallest single room in over 40 years of travel — was barely 1 metre wide no room for luggage and charged $150 — outrageous. Could not cancel that or my next stay but if you are a single DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL it is a total rip off. Bathroom was fine. Safe was locked, unable to use. Would not consider this hotel ever again and would not recommend it to my clients.

Very good quality for a low price. Our room had air conditioning and was clean. The breakfast was included and quite decent with a nice spread of different cheeses.

Arrived early on a Sunday; location is excellent (a few minutes from Earls Court tube station), and checking bags for storage was quick and straightforward. Checked in later in the day; room in the annex (two guests, two single beds) was relatively clean but very small by American standards (about 100 sq ft), as was the shower. Entry to the annex was dirty, and smelled of cigarette smoke and something else (unpleasant). Breakfast buffet was reasonably good. The location on the Picadilly and District lines, with some good dining options and pubs nearby, warrants three stars, but I suspect there are better values in the area.

Okay for a typically overpriced London hotel. Basic accommodation (very small rooms) and sad excuse for a breakfast. At least everything was clean and the staff friendly.

Beware! Don't book! booked a room then tried to cancel it THREE weeks ahead of our visit. They said it was nonrefundable. When I contacted them via Facebook messenger, they said the fine print when I reserved meant they would not refund a penny. I understand a 24 — or 48-hour 'no cancel' policy. But in three weeks they could clearly re-book the room.

Excellent. This summer will be my 3rd consecutive stay in Mowbray Court Hotel — and I am loving this place. Lovelly staff and crisp accomodations. Close to the Picadilly and District lines (Earls Court Station) this is the perfect starting point to explore London and get to and from the airports. (Jarle H/Norway)

Man on duty last night was unhelpful and lied. Room was 2 floors below ground floor with no window. He said they were full but found another room when I insisted. Not interested in keeping customers happy.

Just down the road from Earls Court tube station. Very central. Clean but small rooms. Breakfast was good but very busy. Only continental but good selection. Great pubs up the road especially The Blackbird — wonderful pies.

Very good but too bad there is no English breakfast.

The staff is really super friendly and accommodating but the rooms are small (although most hotel rooms in London are). The breakfast is toast and pastries with jam and honey and juice and fruit and cereal. The location is good with a station right around the corner.

We stayed for 3 days very helpful on the desk room clean and everything you need in the room, breakfast plenty always filling up so there was plenty to choose from.

Good, complimentary water and tea and coffee at reception (and in the room) and clean (small) rooms. Good location close to Earls Court tube station.

Very good location, perfect breakfast of type buffe but without sausages, with a lot of lactic products. Very small rooms, at least ours, although they look new. Service of coffee in the room, towels and sheets also. You have all the water you want in bottle, to carry during the day.

Great hotel. We did a weekend getaway and were very well kept here. The room was very clean and modern.
The breakfast was moderately kept but adequate and international.
A star deduction for no German TV channels and the air conditioning which should be cleaned once. There's a permanent dust blown out here.

Negative the insulation of the rooms we had to change the room twice because once the voice of the elevator woke us up and the second time it was the hallway door next to the reception when it slamming it looked like someone was coming into the Room!

Great hotel for a quick vacation in London. New rooms, small but with the essentials and very clean. Staff Our safe did not work, they came immediately to check and fix.

Nice hotel, very convenient location close to earl's Court Subway station. The hotel rooms are modern and very clean, they offer a good continental breakfast as well. For the price, it is a really good deal. Perfect hotel for a weekend trip to London.

We went as a three and the size of the room was quite impressive (two floors) given the price and the fact that it's in London. It was also located in a nice neighbourhood with M&S and Earl's Court train and tube station at the end of the street. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful while the lobby and common area was spacious and nicely decorated. I love the fact that we can sit down and have some tea/coffee and some biscuits down there at any time. Breakfast wasn't stunningly impressive but was adequate — mostly bread, yogurt and fruit. The dining room was a little too small but we could manage to find seats most of the time.

Good place to rest if you are a tourist traveling in the City of London and this close to the subway station Earl Court to be able to move more quickly, the room very comfortable and clean, breakfast included but only bread, cheeses, some fruit, yoghurts and Cereals.

Extremely small and dark room, at least in our in the basement, as well as the due to the narrow space hardly accessible window helps in a narrow shaft of light nothing! In addition, the rooms are extremely noisy, you can hear all the other guests in the floor above. The bathroom was not as clean as possible, the room unfortunately really. Very heavily worn room. The Breakfast consists of some Toast, cheese and jam. Very bad price/performance, therefore, is not recommended.

Kindness available courtesy… even wishing I could not find a flaw when I get back to London will certainly be my hotel again… Super Recommended.

Absolutely brilliant facilities lovely welcome with lift and fully decorated rooms with walk in shower and 2 min walk to Earls Court. Definitely recommend it.

Arrived in the evening with reservations for a week. Very small room. There is no wardrobe and the shower was made from a small triangle of the bathroom. The staff has searched for a larger room we have not had the satisfaction. Cold night with the air conditioner turned on in the middle of winter. Heating little or nothing. We went on to another hotel the next morning and it was not easy to look for him. AVOID THAT PLACE, RATHER SLEEPING IN A CAB

The staff and service was good. They give you some free bottles of water and biscuits and a handy guide phone on your stay, which was helpful if you don't have internet and can't make local calls. The room was clean, a bit small but we could manage. The only thing that was not to impressed with was their complementary breakfast, pretty sad.

The rooms, while shall were adequate for our stay. The bathroom was decent and had everything they you needed. Clean, warm and dry, this hotel was perfect for what we needed and would stay here again.

A modern, well presented hotel with tasteful room decor. I had comfortable stay with no noise or interruptions which made for a good night's sleep while away on business. Complimentary free water and Wi-Fi were a welcome bonus as well as the included breakfast.

The outside of this hotel stands out from the rest of average looking hotels on the street. The flower boxes were in full bloom, the hotel signage stands out with flags of different countries welcoming you to the hotel. The lobby is clean, sleek, and had hot water for tea and bottled water available. In one of the seating areas, there are books to borrow and sit and relax. Check in was a breeze and we received an upgrade to a triple room which was one queen and one twin. Although it was in the basement level (lift and stairs to take) it was a nice sized room for two with plenty of plugs, a kettle for coffee and tea, bottled water and firm beds. The shower's very nice with a rain head nozzle in the center of the shower for a relaxing hot shower at the end of a tiring day. The place was fairly quiet, although plenty of people were there. The free continental breakfast had flaky croissants, pain chocolat, fruit, yogurt, muesli, coffee, cheeses, and a variety of bread. Service was quick to clean up and the area was pleasant. Clean, reasonable price, very near to Tube, polite staff and free continental breakfast. There was a Handy Phone to use for free if needed. We didn't ask but would be nice to have a small map of the immediate area. This hotel is around the corner from the Earl's Court tube and very close to pubs, convenience stores, Barclay's and the Chelsea area.

Renovated, modern hotel. Beds are really quite small for two people. Rooms are tiny as well, not much space. No chairs, only seating opportunity is the bed. Windows only open about 10 cm, probably quite cold in winter. Bathroom is small as well but has shower gel, soap and shampoo. Also, no need to bring a hair dryer. Shower doesn't close properly, bit of a puddle when getting out. For me the water pressure wasn't enough for rinsing my hair. I didn't like either that you couldn't move the shower head in order to clean feet and lower regions properly. Hair always gets stuck to my legs which is uncomfortable. Free coffee/tea in lobby, also bottled water and biscuits. There is also a water heater and tea bags, instant coffee and milk in the room. TV offers a lot of programs but we didn't use it much. I disliked that there is no accessible route to the building. You need to climb stairs and there are no handles… There is an elevator to get to the upper floors, though. Breakfast is ok. No ham or anything fancy. Apples and bananas, some muesli, cornflakes, coffee, jam, butter, cheese (also Babybel), croissants, toast, bread buns. I asked for lactose free products but they didn't even know what I meant. I could however find some vegan avocado butter spread and lactose free milk at Mark and Spencer's Foodhall nearby. Although I listed so many negative things, I still think that the hotel is a good place to stay and I would recommend it.

Lovely clean, modern hotel in a great location. Rooms were tiny and the bathroom even smaller — had to step out of the bathroom into the bedroom just to get out of the shower. Breakfast was included and it was just your basics supplied but overall though it was good enough for 3 nights. They also supply you with as much bottled water as you like which is very handy for tourists.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights back in may for a convention at Olympia stadium. The twin room was spotless and had all that we needed and the staff were so friendly and polite, Breakfast was continental but there was plenty of things to choose from. I had plenty of coffee and toast with assorted jams, my daughter had fruit juice and cereal and toast and coffee. So we were well satisfied with the whole experience and will definitely be returning next year.

The location is great, the hotel is clean and fresh. Breakfast choice is good albeit a little hot in the dinning room its not a big room and there was quite a few people having breakfast its self service. Our room was very small for 3 people but it was ok. My only criticism is, the spring on the fire door was broken and every time someone used it it slamped. Our room was immediately next to it so our sleep quality could've been much better. We did mention it to the reception but they didn't appear to be interested our room was A305. I would go back but not in A305.

Clean and renovated, friendly staff, decent breakfast. However, rooms and toilets are especially tiny, in a way encouraging you to head out there and explore London. Nice location as well, and overall recommended for relatively short and active stays.

Nice staff, free Wi-Fi, good location, free coffee, thee and water. But the rooms are really not suitable for two persons. They are far too small. Also the breakfast area was much too small and the breakfast itself also was terrible. Really a pity, it could have been so good. I for sure wouldn't recommend.

The hotel was completely renovated, the location is top and the staff very nice however the rooms are especially small.
Upon our arrival, and due to "maintenance" we had to leave a room already relatively narrow for an even tinyr one. At two, we didn't even have the place to open our little suitcases.
After a night in this fitted cupboard, we asked to change rooms and we were able to get a decent size room at — 1.
The services included are very valuable: a mobile phone allowing to call free in Europe and use the mobile data outside is made available in all the rooms. Water bottles and coffee/tea are available at any time at the reception. The Wi-Fi connection works very well.
On the other hand, the breakfast is really not exceptional: No reception of the staff, served in a room with white walls not very warm, a buffet of industrial products. But it remains correct knowing that it is included in the price of the room.
A mixed experience caught up with the sympathy of the staff and their efforts to satisfy us.

Very clean and tidy. Exceptional staff. Breakfast isn't what I'd call 'continental'. Close to all amenities and the museums in Exhibition Road are not at all far — but the rooms really are 'bijou'.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and modern, but unfortunately for safety reasons windows don't really open more than a few centimeters and in january the heating was set a bit to high for my taste. The location is awesome, the nearest convince store is about 50 meters away and tube about 150. Will definitely be staying here next time I visit London.

The attention of all the staff is very good. The location is perfect as it is less than 4minutos walking from the metro that connects you to all of London. The rooms are very small but the bed is very comfortable.

The rooms are small but everything is very clean. The only downside I found was that my door was next to one of the hallway doors, and it was quite noisy. The breakfast is correct, although very simple: coffee, juice and toast.

I stayed here my first time in London for about 5 days. The location was perfect—I could see the tube station from my window, and lots to see within walking distance. The room itself was small, but since I was traveling solo, it was perfect. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and the staff was really nice and so helpful. They offer a complimentary continental breakfast, plus tea, coffee, and water is always available in the lobby. Another thing that you don't usually see—there is a mobile phone available in the room for you to use. This was a huge, unexpected surprise because I was not traveling with mine, so it was really helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I was pleasantly surprised. Small but very cozy room. Toilet with shower. Wi-Fi. I'll repeat on my next visit to London.
