This small hotel is full of character. Conveniently located just 2 minutes walk from Paddington station, a steep staircase leads up to the friendly receptionist. Room was small but functional. The gental rumble of trains reminds you how close you are to the train station.
If you're after relentless beg bugs, Metro is perfect for you. I stayed here after I saw the price on the door thinking it'd be better (and cheaper) than my initial hotel because it was closer to Paddington station but I regret staying here. On the first night I woke up with little insects all over my body at 4am! Distressed I told the guy at the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do about it and that they wouldn't refund our money since we paid in full for 3 more nights. The guy at reception literally shrugged his shoulders when I showed him how infected my skin was. Later on he came to our room and said that there was a clean room upstairs however that room wasn't clean as I saw more bugs all over the bed as soon as I entered. This place needs to be shutdown!
