Lovely accommodation. Only problem, no lift, but staff very helpful and friendly. Beds really comfy, slept really well. We will be back.

Great hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, just a little bit on the small side. But other then that cool looking building, great area of town, and your in walking distance from most major attractions. Also you are near Victoria station; which is a major station that can take you direct to many of the museum's (2 stops), Oxford Street (3 stops, major shopping), and st. Pancreas station for the trains leaving the city (5 stops).

Nice room in a small hotel, the stairs could be a challenge. Great location not far from either Victoria or Pimlico tube station.

Not stayed here (yet) but have a painting on display. The staff who I was in touch with both online and in person were absolutely amazing and it couldn't have been easier to display my work here! It's a beautiful looking hotel and I'd definitely consider staying here in the future.

Very comfortable and clean rooms, good breakfasts. Only issue was that the Wi-Fi was a bit flaky.

This Hotel was a short walk from Victoria station. We were greated by very friendly staff the room was very clean and cosey with fresh clean smelling linen. Tea and coffee was provided in the room. Was also close to shops restaurants and a lovely pub on the corner. Would recommend.

Extremely small room and maintenance could be improved, but staff was very friendly (especially a waitress who took care of my table during the breakfast, I think her name was Raissa). Good location and easy walking distance to the city centre.

The hotel has a good location, small and the cleanning could be improved. I booked a Deluxe double room and the room was very small, the carpet in all buiding (including my rooms's) was too old, frayed and dirty; the stairs are too narrow, only fits your suitcaise and you front or behind it. There is not elevator. There are many hotels like this in the area, the traditional is just the name.

The hotel is nice and the breakfast was nice also. I have to give 3 stars because despite my double room at 1st floor was great, my fried’s single Room in the basement was not decent: really small, no light and a bit dirty.

Small room and noisy/uncomfortable beds made spending time outside of the hotel more enjoyable. We tried to stay out as long as we could, we felt like a pack of sardines sitting in the room. Breakfast, although included, was missed due to the front desk telling us the wrong hours. Wi-Fi is a plus but some devices could not connect.

Typical Tandong hotel with no elevator. The stairs are very narrow and it is difficult to get the luggage up. The room is very small. Wi-Fi is too weak to be used at all.

Very friendly helpful staff. Room very clean Food first class. Negative no drinks available in evenings.

Good London location. Near Westminster and train station. Good service and nice accommodations.

All staff are kind and generous. Bus stop is very close from the hotel. What a great stay for travellers.

Great little hotel, good location near both Pimlico and Victoria underground stations. Rooms are well maintained and furnished to a good specification. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Well worth the price! The hotel is located in pimlico wich is very close the all things central in London, yet the nearby area is very "old London like" and extremely cozy The rooms feel fresh and breakfast is not bad. All in all a nice hotel!

Small hotel in Pimlico. My room was very small but fine for an overnight business trip. However, no tea/coffee facilities in room, Wi-Fi was £10 extra and there was no hot water from the shower in the evening. Breakfast was small but decent enough.

Nicely updated, comfortable room, great location, excellent cooked breakfast.

Clean, quiet, good quality British breakfast. It's an old Victorian building that has been refurbished and all the furniture looked new. We got a superior room which means you have free Wi-Fi and complimentary tea and coffee at your room. The staff is very kind and attentive. The only constraint was a bit of unpleasant odour at the bathroom that was more or less suppressed with the help of an air freshener.

Okay, for a couple of days in the Centre of London. Clean and friendly is fine.

Melita House Hotel was booked for my be a company I visited in business and it was a big disappointment. The bad: -Room was super small (no more than 6 square meters) — really claustrophobic -No air conditioning -To enter the room — 1st you have to open fire door, than the actual door — all in a very tight space — never seen anything like that before — it is uncomfortable! -Old, unevenly glued wallpaper in the room, looked shabby! -Floor in the room was not level, therefore bed was not level — I felt like falling off all the time -No quilt on the bad — just some sheets + blanket (I understand it was July, but still. ) -Every piece of furniture and equipment looked old and worn, especially bathroom fittings -Leaking shower (10 minutes of shower and there was water all around the bathroom floor) -No free Wi-Fi (in 2014 that seems like a standard) -VERY poor breakfasts — no buffet, very small selection of what you could have — full English breakfast, some cereal and some egg variations. Forget about reasonable selection of foods you could count on in any chain hotel -dirty door opening card The good: -Close to the centre of London -the place was generally clean -staff was friendly In general — if the same stuff worked in a better hotel — the experience would have been nice. But the place is old, worn and cheaply run, so don't expect any extras that seem standard in any other hotel these days.

Me and my family stayed at Melita for 3 nights. We arrived about 10 AM. The check-in starts at 12.00, so we just wanted to drop our luggage and come back later, but they were very kind and prepared the room for us in 15 minutes, so we checked-in straight away! We had a room on the first floor and it was facing the street. Although the hotel is very close to the Victoria and Pimlico Station and getting to the centre is a matter of few minutes, the hotel itself is located on a quiet side road, so we enjoyed our sleep. The staff was very nice and helpful and we would like to say a big Thank You to the very nice man in Reception and to the owner, who managed to get us tickets for a day tour on the same day in the morning, even though the tour operator said the tour was already fully booked! We enjoyed the breakfast, especially the english breakfast option was a real delight. We were staying in a few Hotels in London over the past 3 years, especially me during my bussines trips, but I've never seen a hotel so clean! So again, big thanks to the housekeeping. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we will return.

We stayed in the Melita for 2 days for my daughter's Graduation in Oct. Although the Hotel is small. I. E Dining Room, Lounge etc, the Melita is very clean and the staff were very friendly. Our room was in the basement, which was extremely warm even though the heating wasn't on, the room WAS small but the beds and the pillows were VERY comfortable. Only downside was every time we sprayed deodorant, hairspray etc, the fire alarm in the room went off!. This needs to be done in the shower room. The surrounding area is beautiful and close to all tourist attractions. Many pubs and restaurants within walking distance also. When we go back to London, we would stay at the Melita House again. Xx. The rooms are overrated, whatever you see in the picture its not it. We got a family room, the bathroom was wierd, I could not stand up take a shower, because the sealing was built so low. Also the receptionist was rude and demanded us to pay just as we step in the hotel and the manager was supper rude and yelled at us. I was very dissapointed. Yes location is not bad, but the price isnt worth it. Not happy with the stay, I would not recommend this place, there are many places in London. Riina.

In April 2010 I was stranded in Sweden when the Iceland volcano caused all flights to be cancelled. I called Melita House and other hotels I was scheduled to visit and gave them several days warning that I would not make it there. The others gave me full or 50% refund, but not Melita House. They would not refund a cent. Be sure you can get there or book somewhere else with a more flexible refund policy.
