Reviews of London Bridge Hotel 4*
An amazing piece of architecture. One of London's most iconic places and the perfect place to take a few photos. It is very close to the tube station so is easy to get to and there are also many other places to visit in London nearby as it is right in the city centre. Also there are many good restaurants near the bridge to go and eat at which have some of the best food in the city.
This is awesome place… wonderful experience to witness of this historic place. Nothing to say more … just want to say… everyone will like it … I loved it… if I will have opportunity again to travel definitely my first visit will be London bridge. :) …
It's a beautiful view. You can visit Borough Market. An abundance of seafood and national English cuisine.
It's nothing special. The bridge is like a bridge. A common stone transport bridge over the River Thames. Near Borough Market and walking promenade. It's just that you can clearly see Tower Bridge and that's it.
It is one of my favourite spot in the city out of many. It is almost located into the heart of city. Transport is very easy around this area, restaurants and other attractions are all around. It is lovely place for a day out. Highly recommended.
One of the most impressive and iconic places in London. If has managed to stay up hundreds of years and won't fall down anytime soon. You can walk or drive across it to take in the view. From the edges it is possible to see must of London and almost all of the important sights around it. Easy access to the bridge with short walking distance by bus and train station. The bridge will take about 10 minutes to walk across while looking around.
Most beautiful bridge I had ever seen. Beautiful towers and sublime look. You an Pat to go into the tower and learn all the story for the creation. Even if you do not go inside, we recommend you stop at the famous bridge at least for a nice photo!
Beware of confusion, the London Bridge is not the Tower Bridge (famous bridge with two towers and that can open in the middle). The London Bridge is a simple bridge, not necessarily beautiful. But this is the first in the city:)
Great place to walk across and take pictures on, good for kids and mainly just daily use. It can get busy at times but so is the rest of London so it isn't really a problem. The main beauty of the bridge is the intricately designed metalwork that has been done over the amazing river Thames!

Not to be missed. Pay attention to the opening hours of the bridge for a complete show. (Timetable on the Internet)
Very cool. Only there are a lot of people.
Famous London Bridge I had fun to pass on but also had the chance to see it open for a boat in the style of the old paddle-wheeled boat.
The walks around are also very nice to see and discover.
A must-have place in London to naturally foresee during his stay.
Hopefully you'll see it open.
(and also discover the traffic jams created after/during the opening of the bridge)
From here you have a great view of the Tower Bridge!
If you want to get on the London Bridge you will enjoy a breathtaking panorama seen from above the Thames. A peculiarity of the walk on it is that a part of the flooring is transparent. Walking on gives us a real thrill!
The exhibition is very informative. Lots of history about the bridge and some really interesting facts. Walking over the top gives some amazing views. If you suffer vertigo I would suggest not looking down the glass panelling to the road below, otherwise really fascinating experience.
The mythical bridge of London seen from the inside. Pleasant and informative visit. The view is impressive and walking on the glazed floor causes sea sensations for those who do not have Vertigo.
The engine room is also to be seen.
A bridge with great views, otherwise there is not much to say.
It is worth going up to the tower and admiring the view. Very distinctive the transparent floor that allows you to see the bridge below. For the bridge openings it is best to check on the site. Attention a lot of tail over the weekend.
This is one of the most famous iconic sightseeing things of London. If you are in London you have to go to the bridge. It's maintained beautifully and it's fun to cross the bridge from one side to the other. The view onto the themse is amazing. There's also a tour available where you can go and see the mechanics of the bridge. It's definitely worth a visit.
The visit is worth it if you know English. They do not have guides in another language. Children like it so they learn the mechanism of drawbridges bridges.
Impressive London Bridge, I was a little disappointed to find in works much of the clock and the tower but it is very beautiful both day and night. It still has that charm that attracts both visitors.
Of course you have to see it day and night. At night it is spectacular, all full of lights… And the charm of seeing it by day is to be able to observe all its splendor. There is a guided tour inside that we did not get to do. The next time we visit the city we plan to do it.
A great experience! Our budget was not big, but we had to take it with us. The glass shelves and the VR were something new for us. A great experience!
Very busy area, but walk downhill away from river to Borough. Get off the street down the stairs and enjoy Borough food market. Every nation of food available fast and reasonable prices. Paella to a fresh large fish to a croissant from Street vendors. Don't stay around London Bridge itself and miss this!
Is part of things to see, but it remains a bridge. Nice point of view. Narrow Passage and Intense traffic. Make the Journey borough, Cathedral, Bridge and Tower of London. East side of the center very nice.
Known for its namesake living in children's rhyme the present day London Bridge is a crucial connection between the two sides of Thames from London Bridge station at one side to the other. Tourists usually stroll on the walkways on the bridge or go down the steps to walk by the river side pavilion. Offers good panorama photo point with the Tower bridge being further south in view.
It was not well set, although the experience a little scary, could be better maintained. Even though it is part of the ticket of London pass, it is not time better spent if you have a few days in London.
Well its one of the best bridges in the world. You would most certainly enjoy the buzz when you are physically there. Now you can access top of the bridge to experience the glass view looking down from top. You truly will have memorable experience if you are planning to visit. I would definitely recommend it to be there and enjoy the vibe!
One of the many things to see when you are passing through the English capital. It's a little strange to put a note to a monument, a place or a place to see. Indeed, there is no service to note and finally some will find that it is worth a visit while others not… So I'll let you make your own opinion.
It is an unmissable place in London, although there are usually many people, and very good fast food stalls although not cheap.
One of the busiest places in London. Close to the famous Borough market and not far away from Tate Modern the art gallery. Nice scenery and can't deny the joy you get from the cool breeze you get standing on the bridge.
It's a concrete bridge. It goes over the Thames. It isn't very pretty and it isn't falling down (the old one did). It has good views down the Thames towards Tower Bridge (the one you probably meant to see) but otherwise there is not much here except for London dungeons (which are an expensive tourist trap — EDIT they have since been renovated so can no longer comment on the dungeons).
Very cold but very beautiful to see.
A bridge existed in correspondence of the current site already during the period of Roman occupation of the area, about 2 000 years ago. The first bridge over the Thames in the London area, probably a naval bridge for military use, was built in wood by the Romans around 50 d. C. The local Britons founded next to it a small commercial settlement, the town of Londinium.
Wikipedia.
Beautiful view of the Tower of London. Especially not to miss. There's a London Bridge subway stop!
One of my favorites in London, too bad it is even the most touristy after westmister. Anyway they have a lot of interesting and entertaining programs for schoolchildren, like the School of Chivalry.
The photograph shown in the thumbnail next to the request for this review is actually one of Tower bridge not London bridge although it is a good spot to take a photo of Tower bridge. The real London bridge is far less visually stimulating but far more historically significant than Tower bridge as it is one of the ancient crossing places of the Thames (might even be the oldest dating back at least to Roman times.
Our good train to Landon Bridge station down the car, all the way Thames, R. Accompanied by a walk stop, a great trip! Car searches for information on the following: The heart of London is called the City of London or, for short, "cities" and is its commercial and financial centre. The headquarters of the top financial institutions is there. Central London is also a central landmark, theatres, museums, nightclubs and famous shopping areas such as Covent Garden, Karnataka Street and Oxford Street.
From there, you will find the famous Big Ben Tower, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, London Tower Bridge, and other close to the spectacle. Visit the Tower of London when you are in the city. William, the Conqueror, ordered the construction of Baita and laid a foundation in 1078. This was done to protect London from the invaders and the Norman people of London.
Another major attraction in the city was the Saint Paul's Cathedral built in 1675-1710. In the north of London, you will find a multicultural and vibrant region with a long history and famous culture. Areas of interest include Hampstead Heath and Primrose Hill, their huge green spaces, wonderful landscapes and rustic styles.
A bridge just… she helped us to come over the river… so do what she's supposed to. Don't know what to rate?!

Good to make in the photos of the Tower Bridge.
From the London Bridge you can see the Tower Bridge. But is relatively boring.
Impressive monument and a must visit. The bridge is spectacular and right below it has different stall where you can eat at a good price and with great views. At the architectural level is incredible, I recommend you see it a little late. With that you get fewer people chains have the bridge the light on. From the bottom edges, you can take very good pictures.
This place is one of the essentials to visit in London The bridge is simply sublime and it is very interesting to visit the towers and pass on the bridge by borrowing the gallery which has a peculiarity to have a part of its glass floor.
Strong sensation Guaranteed!
It's very amusing to photograph yourself above the void…
Very very nice. Essential London visit. Monumental. We spent with the bus hired and it is spectacular. Large and blue wires. He really gets the publicity cut. Highly recommended your visit and crossing the bridge. To take pictures there is a very good place from the Tower of London.
It's definitely not about to fall down. It's a pretty much sturdy bridge with great views. The view is just uniquely london's. With a unique blend of modern and medieval architecture sharing the same space. Vying for attention. A lot of consideration has been made for tourists to enjoy the view. Even with my baby's stroller, I was able to walk on the bridge then along the River for some great views.
The horror tour in the underground of the London Bridge is really great.
The ticket office is located right in front of the underground station "London Bridge". Then you go down to the parallel road where, just below the bridge, there is the entrance of the attraction.
Unfortunately it is not possible to take pictures inside. At the beginning of the tour there are various actors, who tell the story and the events that happened around the bridge, in various settings and historical eras. Then you continue in the Catacombs of London, alone, following a row and turning in narrow and cramped spaces. Here are real actors that will really scare people… So many special effects and horror everywhere!
Lugar turístico al que debes ir si visitas Londres (A touristic place where you must go if you visit London)
One of the most emblematic places in the capital of the United Kingdom.
Both to enter the castle and to climb to the top of the bridge you have to pay, I do not remember very well the price, but there is nothing cheap in this city. Crossing the bridge if it is free and it is an experience, it is a very nice place, and its vicinity are worthy of walking both to one side and to the other of the river.
Another landmark and unforgettable landmark in a visit to London. You have to climb and cross over, through another glass bridge and if you can wait patiently to see how the floodgates open to facilitate the passage of barges or large boats.
Suggestive, always very affolate. Crosses the Thames joining the two shores. Westminster and Big Ben and the London Eye can be admired at its two extremes.
I suggest you cross it on foot and in the evening to admire the illuminated panorama.
It's a relatively reformed bridge. He's the first to be built to cross the Thames. Not to be confused with Tower Brige. Coming from Bouroght Market through the bridge is very close to the fire monument.
I think this is simply one of the sights of London that you absolutely must have seen. I personally found it beautiful there! We were, however, in the evening (beautiful lighting! ) and at felt minus 5 degrees there (14th 02. ), so it was not too crowded:) It is also only a 20 minute walk from the London Eye, so you can connect with a nice walk! But yes, it's just a bridge:) that's why only 4 stars.
Especially beautiful when it's evening and it just looks beautiful with its lights…
It is surely one of the oldest monuments in London, which with its 270 meters connects the City to Southwark district of Inner London. After the recent terrorist attack, security has been increased considerably, with cement blocks protecting the "walk" on the bridge. Wonderful to visit by day, suggestive to visit in the evening or however as soon as the sun sets. For the lovers of photography is definitely not to be missed.
It's a bridge… Some nice views of landmarks but it's not really a destination in itself. In terms of getting me over the Thames it is pretty good.
It's a bridge and I've come dry over the Thames. What to write? The guide from the bus tour knew that the architect of the bridge also designed the classic telephone booths.
Senseless knowledge of the evening: the radius of the bridge arches and the telephone-cell roofs should be identical…
The London Bridge is one of the things that you can not miss the city, has something different from the rest, is elegant and distinguished as the image given by the English. Besides this is very entertaining, if you get the chance, see how it opens to the passage of big boats.
Very nice this bridge deserves to be seen also recommend you to visit the Tower of London where the real jewels are kept if you have to visit both of you should do the London pass you pay a little less.
The weather must fit, then the stroll at the Temse is an experience.
I prefer crossing this bridge with my bike as it is wide and normally it is not crowded, but sometimes there can be massive traffic jams and constructions on both ends. It is safe and well protected on the other hand!
One of the main attraction in London. Great area with loads of bars and restaurants. Stunning architecture and historical buildings.
A busy commuting location, with rail road and tube station London Bridge. Borough Market close by and The City Hall (The Greater London Authority). Great eateries and river views, with HMS Belfast moored close by on the River Themes.
Beautiful Opera from where you can admire the beautiful Tower Bridge the battleship Hms is the spectacular Tower of London…
Amazing historical place. The area very trendy with many interesting places to see and visit. I like this very old part of London. Did you know this part of London is called The City of London and it's different to the City of Westminster. Check it out.
It has beautiful views especially at night. Sadly, though, its information stand is quite hidden. And there are no signposts directing visitors to it. You might just happen upon it like I did. Also, the info provided is quite scarce.
It spans the river really well and it helps me get to work. For that reason I love it. However I think I might change this to a negative review as I want to drive people away from it as it is too busy. In fact don't go to it. There is nothing to see and you won't like it. Don't say I didn't tell you.
It's a bridge… But it's also a great place to look up and down the water, and take in some magnificent sights and sites. I love cycling across it at sunset and sunrise, when Tower Bridge looks spectacular from here.
By day it is a beauty but at night it leaves you speechless!
To make you stay open-mouthed!
Very magical, a must see both day and night.
One of the most famous bridges in London. At the center of the cars and buses, on the sides the walk, now protected by huge curbs of cement after the recent terrorist attack.
London Bridge is not the best Bridge in London but a good experience of view one gets during its visit. Good place for a walk on Thames bank towards the tower bridge. Kindly avoid during busy hours as people use this to reach their work places. One can visit during evening to have a nice view of sunset and lightning on the Bridge in night. One gets attracted when a large vessel passes through Bridge and it opens the Bridge.
By day it's just a bridge crossing the two London sides. In the evening the lights on the water of the Thames give charm to the few minutes of walk. A few pictures to shoot definitely…
Night view from the London Bridge. Nice, dude. Really, by day, night, morning. To see. Absolutely. Then on the other side is the Borough market to see, visit and live in every moment of the day.
It contains two parts. The "A" is about the history of London Bridge, while the second is a scare attraction.
The staffs are so hardworking, they'll scare your out. Divided into two paragraphs, the first paragraph is fine, is to talk about the history of London Bridge. The second paragraph is completely haunted house, everyone lined up in a team shoulder to walk past, do not walk in the head or tail of the team, anyway, scared me half to death.
In addition to time, and have London pass, English is good, otherwise do not go. The content is lengthy, no terrorist effect, pure navigation.
Always worth a visit! So many people and so much to see. Who flies to London must here stop.
Very nice just the glass bottom is creepy… the height.
Informative…
When friends come to visit london I always like starting at the borough markets, walking across london bridge to get views of tower bridge and the continuing on to the monument to the great fire, to st dunstans in the east and tower of london.
It is a beautiful place and very romantic.
This bridge was very amazing. I think you must visit this bridge because, we can see that the bridge was so heavy but it can open the road when the cruise or big ship pass through. The view was very amazing too.
Historically most definitely a must on a London visit. But compared to other places but somewhat disappointing :)
Always worth a look. Very nice, the glass floor on Tower Bridge.
Wow London bridge is really great it has the two cool towers that lift with hydraulicness wow It was a really great place the only problem is that it's in Europe. But europe is life. Ive always wondred why it isn't called Tower Bridge cuz theirs two towers I mean wtf.
Got a 241 ticket and still can't believe we paid for 1. Can't believe it's Londons scariest attraction as when in the tombs you are rushed around so quick trying to keep hold of the person in fronts shoulder (no idea why that's necessary?! ) You don't get a chance to be scared. Would not recommend!
Good place for a walk with the view on the Tower Bridge. But be careful it could be very cold and windy on the bridge, so check the weather forecast first to enjoy it fully.
Drab and boring bridge but I guess functionality is the the most important. good view of tower bridge from here. Lots of people mistaking tower bridge as London bridge. The fancy looking bridge is tower bridge, London bridge is just functional and boring.
A Must have in your list of things to see in London, the truth that few things there to add to all that is known of this famous bridge. Advisable to view the article.
Not to be confused with the famous Tower Bridge! Visually unspectacular, but with a great history and a good view — — for example, on the Tower Bridge.
Point required to view the article. And if subis above, you have a beautiful view of the city.
I walk along the River Thames Path a lot. You really get your bearings from looking at the bridges along the way. So when I looked back from the Millennium Bridge, got this lovely view of Southwark and then London Bridge. Certain magic about London which is very special for us.
I love the London Bridge and can't get enough of it. I don't know how many photos I shot from the bridge. The most beautiful London Bridge at night when it is illuminated.
This is a great bridge and is key in connecting South London to North London. It's no Golden Gate but it does the job. The views of Tower Bridge from here are amazing. That's not to say London Bridge isn't to be admired itself for its strength and usefulness but I think we all know Tower Bridge is the more beautiful bridge. If you want to get up the bridge quickly and avoid morning or early evening commuters then favour the right side if heading North.
I think LONDON is one of the most BEAUTIFUL Cities in the world! I'm fascinated by the BRITISH ACCENT & How loyal the citizens are to their Country! The Tourist sites like BIG BEN, LONDON BRIDGE, THE UNDERGROUND, THE TOWER OF LONDON, WEMBLY STADIUM & THE GROUNDS AT WIMBLEDON, Among other sites, Would be the Greatest tours for me to see & enjoy with my FAMILY! I APOLOGIZE for sounding like a typical tourist, but LONDON would be a Wonderful City to tour!
Its a turist attraction. It has very good view over the tower bridge.
Amazing views and very interesting! If you are in London worth a visit! Funny fact about this bridge… America wanted to buy this bridge but they believed it was called London Bridge. They went ahead with buying London Bridge without looking at the bridge and only when it turned up in America did they realise they actually wanted to buy tower Bridge.
Although it is the landmark of the city, but if you are in the front is also not really something special.
I love London Bridge. The concrete to cement ratio is really good. It is really sturdy and just a fantastic bridge to walk across.
Busy station but trains come constantly.
Lovely view in days, wonderful view in nights; two different experience and both are wonderful. I used to go there often and one lucky day I had the rare opportunity and observed the bridge splitting fully at the middle to allow ship to pass through. An extra ordinary moment.
One of the best tourist place.
A very notable place in the city next to Big Ben and London Eye. Definitely a place to visit as a tourist. Better to visit in an evening walk.
A must-have, but otherwise no special experience.
Amman is naysar and mist beyootifel than landan its not nice like abdoon bredj.
Very nice view. Good for taking pictures of different perspectives of London Tower and the Thames river.
I only see in pics bt one day I will sure go to this city … thts my fab city… my heart always bit 4 london.
I love this bridge, as everybody I think. I like to seat on a bench near the Thames and taking pictures of all this bridge's movements. The museum up there must be done! There is an awesome view on London.
Hey get the right bridge it's the next one down for tower bridge. This is London bridge is free though.
That is TOWER BRIDGE in LONDON, not London Bridge! this is like the time USA bought a bridge thinking it was the Tower Bridge and realised it was a concrete building, called LONDON BRIDGE. Tower Bridge opens up to let tall ships in. Its unique and beautfiul. Ex Londoner now a Kiwi. Do I rate as London Bridge no will rate as Tower Bridge which it is. And its beautiful. Not far from Tower of London. Proud to be a Londoner.
It's a perfectly decent bridge. If you're an American tourist, the bridge you're looking for IS TOWER BRIDGE. Not London bridge. Walk a little further along the river and you won't be disappointed.
A bridge is not usually something you might review. And this one looks plain, so it may be surprising to find a 4 star rating attached. Why so? The charm of London bridge is not so much the current bridge, but knowing all the history surrounding it. When you become aware that this bridge is a replacement for older bridges, dating back to Roman times, it puts many things in perspective. You are standing in living history, older than you could suspect. Worth remembering.
The hotel was nice, great location and very friendly staff. The beds in our double room were hard as stone and after 6 nights I went home needing a massage. It hurt carrying my bag around and more than 6-7 hours of sleep was impossible.
Went over this bridge on the bus the other day. Excellent, very sturdy, did a fine job. Will definitely use it again.
Not a bad bridge, and you get great views of Tower bridge. If you want to hear a history of the bridges at this site do a Blue Badge tour — they are fab.
It has great views of Tower Bridge. And you can see the hustle and bustle of people which passes from one side of the River to the other to go to work all day.
Great bridge. Transports motor vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. I'm sure it would support equestrians and other methods of alternative transport as its a very sturdy structure which has been doing a fine job since its recent restructuring in 1971. It's roughly 269 meters long which is lucky as this is exactly the distance between the two roads leading to the bridge. Any shorter and traffic would likely become stuck or even fall into the Thames. Much longer and it would interfere with the roads leading into the aforementioned space. Great job road builders.
A bridge that connects the City with the London Bridge train station. Gateway if access to the financial district from the South. It's worth the views of Tower Bridge and Saint Paul, as well as stroll through Borough Market, which is a two minute walk or strolling along the banks of the Thames to the City Hall, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.
To cross the Thames on London Bridge, anyway probably belongs to the program of each London tourists. A great experience is of course, if you're lucky that rises the drawbridge, a ship it happen. In any case, but should "sacrifice" entry for the visit of the Interior of the bridge because it really is worth.
The room was very nice, very modern and great design, comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic, great buffet style with a range of hot or cold from full English to Continental. Staff very friendly and professional, easy check in/out process.
Esta super me encanto el london bridge and I love one direction gron CARROT AND KEVIN COMPANY.
Nice Hotel which I highly recommend it in a nice central location near the Thames and the rooms are comfortable quiet and the staff are very friendly.
Great location. Many, many major attractions within walking distance. Polite, attentive and friendly staff. Loved every minute in the hotel and in this wonderful city. I am going back and staying again at London Bridge Hotel. Highly recommend it.
Harry Potter step here. :D.
The hotel is brilliantly situated for transportation around the city. The rooms are comfortable and the food is great. Staff were attentive and will deal with any special requests you may have. This is our 2nd visit to the hotel and would happily visit again.
Go over once duty is easy. Costs also nix. Go in to the exhibition is but very expensive. Nevertheless, it is worth and is simply a must for any visitor to London.
I want to see it in bathgat.

A wonderful place to relax and watch old father Thames ebb by. Breath taking views to enjoy with the buzz of the golden mile of the city of London. From every angle of the bridge is something to Marvel at. Plenty of history to explore as well. If it rains there are places to keep out of the wet and enjoy the views of London. Take some time out & enjoy this life if this beautiful bridge.
