Me and my partner stopped in the hotel for a long weekend got to our room to find the window was broken and wouldn’t lock then Sunday morning we had bought some juice to put in the fridge for when we got back from our day out sightseeing around london when we returned we found it had been stolen which we could only assume it was the cleaner, when my partner went to complain to the check in desk all the check in assistant said was “oh she must have been thirsty” no apology or nothing now we had to search through all our belongings to make sure nothing else was stolen then the next day we was checking out we asked to speak to a manager or a senior member of staff funnily enough non available. Then as I returned home with gifts for friends and family found a can of american soda I had bought as a gift for someone had also been stolen absolutely unacceptable theft is theft no matter what. Ive stopped in hundreds of hotels and never have I ever had anything stolen or been spoken to with such disrespect in my life.

Nice rooms at a good price perfect for a short stay.

Quiet literally the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Pictures say it all. Black mould in bathrooms, hairs in the bed, thick dust everywhere.

Ok so I said yes I would recommend this hotel but only as far as the location and the staff were all super accommodating. As for the hotel it is dated and like a rabbit Warren. We checked in and were given our room which had the correct beds we asked for a double and one single unfortunately the room was filthy had not been made up prior to our arrival and was very small. When I went to reception they were very apologetic and moved us to another room which was still tiny and unfortunately had three single beds in it that were tiny! The room was hot and cold all night and the beds were uncomfortable. This hotel seriously needs a make over.

Room is spacious and comfortable. We got a room on the second floor, onto the street. The room is well equipped too. However it needs sound proofing. You can hear every step in the room above or the corridor, water in the pipes, and the neighborhood is always busy due to the location (ambulance sirens several times an hour, occasional street preacher…). EDIT: the noise issue continued two days in a row, so we took it to the front desk and we were moved to a better room with a better view! Pro-tip: ask for a room on the top floor. The cleaning should also be improved (scuff marks on the walls, stain on the bathroom wall, dust under the bed). On the plus side, the breakfast offer is pretty great. Personnel varies, some are very helpful.

Great hotel, especially if traveling via St. Pancreas Intl. Very reasonably priced, polite and helpful staff. Attached restaurant is nice as well. Room AC worked great, beds were comfortable, everything was clean. Basement room even had a window! Would definitely recommend for a short stay when traveling by train.

Very good location if you are travelling on by Train or Eurostar. Not suitable for a holiday as it's very noisy, right in the middle of Kings cross. Very helpful staff. Our room was clean, comfortable beds & a good shower. However the secondary double glazing was inadequate & broken. Breakfast was an extra £6 however you can easily pop over the road for better choices at Leon. Or Pret or any other local eateries.

It is expensive for the size of the room and facilities offered. The location is ideal. Bang opposite the Kings Cross station. And no noise. There is a McDonald's and Pret A Manger nearby. Also a Sainsbury local. There was no lift to the for where I stayed and so I had to lug my luggage. With suitcases there is no space to turn in the room. But for a short stay and a quick trip to the nearby attractions especially Harry Potter In Watford an ideal location.

Clean and convenient. Booking was exactly as simple as it should be. Front desk team were helpful. Room was the size you would expect for london. We needed a triple room and there was a choice between three single beds or one double and one single bed. There was enough space to put our things for one night and could probably go for two or three nights. Four stars given not because it is a four star hotel, it isn't, but the price was right without sacrificing cleanliness. We were in a corner room with view of king's cross, it came with a fair amount of traffic noise, but that's London for you. Hotel looks a little tired in some places, but it's obviously well used. There could have been a little more variety for breakfast, but it did the job well and there are loads of breakfast spots nearby. Most importantly I would definitely stay here again.

Only good thing going is the location and kids eat free at breakfast! Our family room (5) hadn’t been cleaned for at least a few weeks… dust everywhere. Floor dirty and bathroom smell was atrocious! Staff very rude and not helpful one bit. Hotel took £189 the night before we were due to stay without us knowing… only found out wen we realised bank account was down and told it would be refunded within 5-7 days! Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Good for short stay. Convenient, being opposite St Pancras Station. Comfortable bed, good aircon and modern bathroom. Water pressure not so good at peak shower times on top floor. Noisy from traffic etc, but it's London!

Good budget hotel at prime location. Rooms are small and hallways are narrow. Too many stairs (you will know it when you see it). Its just opposite to Kings Cross underground which is the (only) awesome thing about this hotel. Food and cleanliness are average. I would have commented about the service if there was any. Even though I don't like this hotel a lot, I've booked it multiple times because of its location and also because there is always vacancy here, good for last minute bookings.

Well Priced Hotel for the Location. Staff for Friendly. The Bathroom was very modern, good size room with a Comfy bed. Only critcism hallways were narrow an very steppy if you have alot of Luggage from the Old Style Architecture.

The location of the hotel is really good (next to King's Cross station) and the check in and out process really smooth and fast. However the room I got was on the ground floor with a window on the street which meant that I had to keep the blinds closed at all times as there was no privacy. There was also a bit of noise coming from other rooms (steps, toilets being flushed etc).

Very noisy hotel, not at all soundproof, it's catastrophic between trains and neighbors! It's barely clean. The staff is polite. Breakfast is ok.

A nice hotel directly at King's Cross. It has really nice and polite staff, the rooms are clean and with air condition and a nice breakfast for a good price. There is free Wi-Fi and you can choose between English breakfast and continental breakfast which is a buffet. I can recommend it and would come again!

Very well located, comfortable, clean, spacious, no reproach for me except the lack of English breakfast, but according to colleagues, the rooms on the other side are more noisy as the train side.

HORRIBLE, GO YOUR WAY! The second star is because it is very well located but the positive points stop there! Apart from the outside which presents well, there is nothing left inside… Room (in any case the 305) was tiny, not catastrophic but impossible to open 2 suitcases at the same time in the room. You see the smell in a bathroom where there is no siphon: the same thing with a smell of moisture in addition. Can't sleep because of the smell if you forget to close the bathroom door. Do not take breakfast: croissants and chocolatines infects. Only bread to toast, jams not good and butter completely melted. The State of cleanliness to access the dining room is more than doubtful and this, at the sight of the customers; I dare not imagine what we could not see… Flee.

Customer service was the worst I've come across in a while. Blunt and ignorant. Tiny hallways with automatic lighting were okay. Bedroom was compact with a double and single bed. Room was clean and bathroom and shower also clean. Couldn't find out how to get the free Wi-Fi and staff were unhelpful. Amenities in room were good. Extremely noisy at night but this is hardly the hotels fault as it is directly across from Kings Cross Station. Only issue I had with room was the mattress continued to slide throughout the night with pillows sliding down side. Constantly up fixing it. Not a great place if you're looking for a nights sleep. Breakfast was included but didn't try it due to breakfast where u was going.

Disappointed! Photos looked amazing but on arrival was left disappointed. The most grubby & thread bare carpets in communal areas I've ever seen! Really unacceptable in a "hotel".
Stayed in triple room which in fairness was a decent size & huge bathroom & shower! Which is where the 2 star rating came from. Shower caddy however was so rusty & should be removed!
The room was in basement opposite restaurant so was noisy from staff & guests very early in the morning! Also maintenance going on in that area, so the was tools etc all in hallway by the room & again was a lot of noise from that 1st thing!
Biggest issue was only having 4hrs sleep due to the constant loud noise from the underground! Only peaceful time was 1-5am!
Unfortunately there definitely will be no repeat visit.

Awful place to stay. Rooms were dirty, air con did not work, there was a constant whining sound of some electrical device throughout the night that kept us awake. We asked reception to come check why our air con wasn't working and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Had a terrible night sleep. Only good thing was the location.

Zero stars! I asked for extension of checkout time instead of asking for a refund in light of finding a stained pillow in my room on checking in. They reacted as if I was holding them up. They offered a measly 30 minutes! Also room service don't knock — with it without your Do Not Disturb sign and came twice into my room. I'm going to tell all I can't to NOT stay with them. Zaka (I forget if this was her real name) from Hungary, on the desk, was the only friendly one. A security guard looking guy was rude, nasty and extremely unhelpful. Will look to the booking agents and my bank for a refund.

The room is common, not bad space, there is air, to drink tea, Heladerira, dry hair in the room. The location was good and the staff were very friendly. L a king cross across the avenue and other shops nearby. They have to store suitcases at £5 each day (should give voucher or number for Q no one take a suitcase Q is not). I did not walk the elevator and the rooms are upstairs, we touched the 3 floor so Q we had to raise the suitcases and the stairs are narrow. A hotel so should not let a day pass Q the elevator does not walk.

I couldn't fault anything about this hotel, it's a lovely place to stay in an excellent location and is very easy to find. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with plenty of facilities for making hot drinks. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Peter, who was very helpful with storing our bags when we were checking out and offering to help us carry them when we came back for them. I did see some bad reviews about windows not closing, however when we asked at reception a member of staff closed it and showed us that we were just trying to close it the wrong way! The only problem we experienced wasn't the hotel's fault — there was a loud, argumentative guest along our corridor early one morning but the reception staff dealt with them quickly and very well. Apart from that, the other guests at the hotel were pleasant and noise levels from guests and traffic were not a problem at all. The breakfast facilities in the restaurant were good, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good budget stay. Well appointed rooms. Comfy bed. All went well until the morning when reception was not as friendly, there was a problem with the shower and I had breakfast. Breakfast wasn't good. Very cheap croissants, a toaster that didn't, tinned fruit, all very cheap looking and tasting. I'd go back but I wouldn't bother with breakfast. It would have been nice to know before hand that you need to turn the taps on as well as the shower if you want to take a shower in one of the third floor rooms. Instead I wasted a lot of time trying to get it to work before asking the grumpy receptionist for help.

Decent room on top floor overlooking kings cross. My mrs ended up jammed out of the window with me hinge deep behind her! Decent night.

Room was very clean, and location was excellent. There was a strange smell from the drain in our bathroom though, and I was disappointed by the lack of decaf coffee in the room.

It good for crashing, clean and neat rooms. The hotel is right in front of the kings cross station.

Pretty poor service, had problems with the payment initially despite pre paying. Then guests above were ridiculously loud, carried on despite a complaint. Only good thing being that it was convenient getting kings cross international station.

Low cost, zone1, well served with bus lines 2 and 6 4 Underground stations. Hotel very good although I would have expected something more. Small room, good service. 4 stars deserve. To recommend.

ABSOLUTE THIEVES! Stayed there with my work collogues, travelled down from London as we had a conference meeting. The Receptionist Jacob was so rude! He knocked on our door at 1.30am and we was accused of smoking! We then went down to reception is try and sort the situation out as he was saying he was going to call the police and the hotel would charge us £100. Nothing was resolved so we all went to bed, 2.30am the police knocked on our door! They said there was no proof of smoking and that they couldnt take money out of the account as there was no proof. Woke up next morning and went to work as usual. Couple days later the bank had contacted me and had blocked my card due to fraud! Not only had the hotel took £79 because of smoking (although there was no smoking and the police said they couldnt) but they TRIED to take £277 the following day, then £100 TWICE on one day then £80 and £65! straight away I called the hotel! they were very unhelpful. They told me the bank was lying! WHY WOULD THE BANK LIE! I was told to speak to the manager Mr Peter. So I called the following day and spoke to a man called Mr peter but then told me he wasnt the manger! HOTEL FROM HELL! PLEASE BE AWARE THEY'RE FRAUDSTERS.

Great hotel with perfect location, just opposite the Kings Cross and St. Pancras Station.

Too much noisy. I heard the underground every morning at 6 am. Avoid if it's possible.

Room was in some state. The door was stiff and the lock was barely screwed into the door. The windows did not close properly and didn't have a way to lock them. One of the windows was smashed. The room was a little grubby and the floors were unswept since the last person stayed there, longs hairs and dirt. This was all compiled by the fact there was construction happening during our stay, which we had not been told would be happening before we arrived there. Tools lying around and unfinished walls. As well as this, there must be a lack of hygeine going on as my brother who I shared the room with, went to bed and woke up the next morning with 17 bug bites all over his back. Apart from having free air conditioning and letting us store our luggage before departing (for a price), it wasn't that great.

It is very old, poorly preserved, in the bathrooms it is very cold always.

This Hotel is for a city break just where want to sleep very well! I was with two friends in a three bedded room housed and must say to sleep, it ranges all the time! toilet and shower are in the corridor, however, these were never dirty. From her position, I can only say the Top! just around the corner there is a supermarket and Pubs allso all the small purse allows.

Location is excellent. Just a few feet to St Pancras underground. It is old and grotty. The staff are friendly. But what is with the Catholic icons in the lobby? The sheets are clean. The beds are cheap. It is noisy, unpainted and probably one step up from a Rescue Mission. Shared bathrooms — toilets and showers are clean but the aging decor is covered in mold. No TV or phone in the room. But for the price you will be hard pressed to find somewhere better for the money. If you just want somewhere to crash at night then go for it. If you plan to spend time relaxing in your room — stay at the Holiday Inn.
