Okay. Listen up. You're in the largest city in the world. You need to catch an early train from King's Cross station and want a reasonably priced hotel nearby. Stay here. It's in three 1700's Georgian attached houses on a used-to-be-swank street. 5-6 minute walk from the station. A park is across the street. Beds are great, really comfy. Rooms are small. Bathrooms don't have shampoo but the TV works great. Breakfast is full English or choose oatmeal or ask for your favorite. Service staff is 100% helpful, friendly and smiley. Street noise and sirens may occur. Ignore it. It will stop. Sweet dreams and safe travels!

This hotel is good for staying in close to the King's cross station. The location is perfect and the view from the room is good to be able to see park with staying the top floor. Staff is friendly and helpful (for me). If you want to enjoy sightseeing, also this location is advantage for you. Close to the Station and main bus stops means to connect central London easily, and you can choose any restaurant and cafe for breakfast and dinner. If you walk down about 5-10 minutes, you could get anything in the super markets. However if you want to stay with good bath room and facility, you must search for other hotel. Bath room can't be called as a bath room, and Wifi is horrible. Moreover TV didn't work at all.

Stayed here for 4 nights and there are so many reasons to love this place. As a 26 year old female travelling alone I was concerned about staying somewhere convenient and safe but not too expensive. This hotel had friendly staff, 24hr reception, is a secure building in an excellent location, had very clean rooms and bathrooms, and it was even suprisingly quiet considering proximity to King's Cross. My room overlooked a courtyard and had a lovely fresh breeze through the open windows. Need to book well in advance though it books out very early (approx 6-8 weeks). No elevator and small rooms not uncommon in older smaller buildings, only thing I would say is the room did get quite warm without the window open, so overnight I would have liked a small fan or something. Highly recommend.

Stayed for one night traveling through London. Tight quarters, mediocre mattress, decent Full English breakfast. Great if all you want is a place to lay your head at night.

Though the rooms are small and spartan, there's not much about this hotel not to like. I made it my base of operations when I visited the city for more than a week and greatly enjoyed it's proximity to King's Cross. There is a heavily-used park across the street so it's not necessarily quiet but nothing that couldn't be blocked with ear phones.

The breakfast was amazing! The room was basic, but the breakfast definitely made up for it!

Healthier breakfast choices like fruit would be appreciated. Excellent position to kings cross and st Pancras. Friendly staff.

Our hotel of choice when we're in London, ideally located 100 yards from Kings Cross and St Pancras, friendly staff, clean rooms and a good breakfast.

All in all good value for the 95 quid for two with breakfast. Room basic but clean. No tea making facilities. But good.

So considering the tiny price I paid (and the comments a little negative), I was expecting a small unpleasant hotel, that otherwise. Well received, they respected my request to be on the top floor, the room was very clean (small, but very clean, this is the main one), the bed is comfortable enough and I slept well, a concierge service allows you to leave your luggage For free, breakfast is quite correct (served from 7 to 9 hours), and finally, the top of the top, the entrance of the subway (Kings Cross/St Pancras) is exactly 120 meters from the hotel at the corner of the crossroads (when you exit the subway, take the exit Euston Road/Sout H Side), than happiness. For a small stay of 2-3 days, this hotel is perfect!

A lovely place to stop everyone is very helpful clean and tidy.

I was unable to travel to this hotel because of bad weather in the South West. They generously didn't give me a refund.

A little cold… it lacks heating… but the breakfasts. Uyyyy… excellent!

The hotel is rather Spartan, but clean and functional. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff. For the price and the very convenient location I'd say it's a very good deal.

Small hotel in a side street right on King's Cross — great location as a starting point for a city break where you will be travelling a lot with the (U) train.
The rooms are tiny, as is the bathroom (with the sink already outsourced to the room). One gets only one towel per person, one to dry the hands on the sink would have been great. Also, there are no rakes to hang the wet towels after showering — a small investment that would be incredibly helpful. Breakfast was included and perfectly adequate. The staff was very nice and polite. If you want to leave the suitcases in the hotel, you will unfortunately simply be placed in the hall, as there is no room for the suitcases in the small hotel.

Tiny room, with very thin walls (you could hear other conversations without much effort). Small bathroom, very uncomfortable. As a point against, one of the receptionist was quite rude to us while we waited for our taxi (which arrived in 1 h), Largándonos to the street in a very unpleasant way (as he thought we would be camping in reception for 12 hours, Conclusion he brought out the same without even asking).
The location is excellent, just steps from the King Cross/St. Pancras Station. I recommend it only as a passing hotel (one night) if you have no more options or you don't have a lot of money.

Very close to the Metro.

Good hotel, location more than ideal, 300 meters from the station of King Cross. The reception is nice and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The English breakfast is OK. If you stay a few days in London I advise you. Convenient set-up Service if you do not want to take your luggage with you.

Bad sleep. Bad breakfast. Too much noise during the night. Good for the nearby to king's cross.

Correct for this price range. On the other hand impossible to get a slice of bread more at breakfast. C is 3 and move! So take the room without breakfast as the local pub offers an English breakfast for half price.

Well-positioned hotel near the king Cross Saint pancreas station. Quiet and simple hotel. Bad smell in the basement room. English Breakfast and toast. Copious but no variety no fruit and no hot chocolate for children. Tea or Coffee only.

For a short trip in London! Hotel Very Central! Room not large but adequate! As usual very bright hearing! The breakfast was good. Staff very helpful! Cleanliness OK! We would come back!

The single room is on the top floor, no lift (elevator) and very narrow stairways. There's no shower curtain and is a just fixed shower tap on the wall. Very shocked. English breakfast was good and yummy but a girl serving meals wasn't kind.

It was clean and quiet. Great location next to St. Pancras station. Lots of food and drink choices in the neighborhood. Don't miss English breakfast in the morning, it smoothed out the jet lag and made the hangover I had from partying in London disappear. Wifi worked awesome the whole time.

Rooms are incredibly pokey (not even room for a chair! ), sounds like there is an industrial laundry next door that starts operating at 6am, Wi-Fi just doesn't work, can hear every last conversation from other rooms, the showers are about as effective as a spray bottle and only one power point in the room. Cannot recommend this one.

I stayed in HWH a year ago and the biggest advantage of the hotel is location. Rooms are very small, food is quite normal and the stuff is very friendy. Basic hotel, OK for the first zone.

Dirty, old, small rooms. My room was not cleaned after precious guest had to change it. The worst hotel visited in London so far.

I have stayed here for several time and it was quite good. I would (and did) recommend it to a friend.

But what you can expect at least a hot shower after 9, but is the boiler is probably empty. The beds are very small. Not normal, that someone of 1, 85 and 90 kilos. Breakfast not good. Half a glass of OJ, egg 1. I'd not here anymore.
