Had afternoon tea with my daughter. It was delicious and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Great bar/restaurant. Small but very comfortable rooms — typical of the better boutique European hotels.

Charming boutique hotel in a wonderful location. We have always had wonderful service. The breakfast is to die for! Don't forget real coffee? aqua panna and prosecco in the lobby, along with fresh fruit.

The personnel, treated me like royalty. I did have to wait a little while for my room to be ready, upon arrival. I was given a glass of champagne while waiting. The room was comfortable. I was given a large bottle of water each day. The room was spotless. Beautiful hotel, and close to everything.

Great food and service… highly recommend.

Very nice place overall, but the rooms are extremely small. But nice too. You better want to get/be close to whoever you’re with. Staff is excellent. Location is very nice. Grocery store next door and tube within an easy walk.

Very comfortable hotel in a good position. The staff work very hard to see that your stay is perfect. I must mention the concierge as they were extremely helpful in answering questions relating to London and getting about.

Rooms are far too tiny for more than one person. As a Silver Elite member, I didn't get the upgrade I requested. Wouldn't really recommend unless there wasn't any other hotel in the city center. Also, they are a good 10 mins walk to Earl's Court tube station. Service staff were very nice tho I did give them a good tip for helping with all the luggage.

Quality is evident when you are greeted by the doorman and walk in. Xenia Hotel staff are eager to assist you in whatever you need… a taxi, recommendations for dinner, trips to Bath, Oxford, etc. We enjoyed 10 days with these wonderful people and would return in a heartbeat. The rooms are small by US standards but comfortable and nicely appointed. Breakfast in the restaurant is a great start to your day.

Stayed two nights at Hotel Xenia. They graciously accommodated my very early check in at 6 a. M. Since I was just getting arriving from an over night flight. The room was a classic, which was small, but very comfortable. The staff informed me if I wasn't comfortable they would be glad to change rooms for me. That evening I could barely get to sleep as the air conditioning unit could not keep the temperature down in the room. It was probably because of the very warm weather and being on the third floor of the building. I told the staff of my troubles the next morning and they immediately exchanged my room for one on the first floor with a balcony (it was an upgrade). The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant, the hotel is fantastic and in a great location. Just make sure if you are staying in the summer to find a room closer to the ground floor. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel, lovely neighborhood. Close to Hyde Park and Kensington gardens. Close to museums and very short walk to several Underground lines. You can get anywhere in London quickly. Plenty of close restaurants and grocery stores. Starbucks right next door if that’s your thing. Exceptional service and friendly polite staff. Very clean hotel. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Cannot thank the Xenia staff enough. They were very accommodating and really looked after us. They made my boyfriend's 30th birthday so special. Complimentary processco and chocolates were delivered to our room. We also tried the whiskey and cigar class, it was brilliant and my other half was in his element. The herb garden is beautiful and very romantic. Kyle was brilliant and really knew his stuff. Thank you Kyle. Alex from the bar made me some delicious cocktails and was very helpful. Overall beautiful hotel, very clean and excellent hospitality. Would 100% recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic stay here and would consider this property the next time I visit London. The room was pretty small (perhaps average size for London? ) but everything was clean and well kept. It seems like it may have recently gone through a recent renovation. The downside to this property is that there is no executive lounge for platinum members. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant is above average. There are a few pastries to choose from as well as fresh cut fruit. In addition, you can place an order for eggs made to your liking and a few other hot food options (for example, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, sausage…etc). On the day of my departure I had to leave before the restaurant opened for breakfast. I informed the front desk and they made accommodations and packed a to go meal which I thought was great service. A couple things to consider if planning to stay here. The property is located within a 10 minute walk from a couple metro stops which made it pretty convenient to get around. As a tourist, I felt completely safe walking around the area. I didn’t find a significant number of restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the property, but you will find some near the metro stop that isn’t too far.

I had a great stay at the Hotel Xenia. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. They are on the small side, but I knew that when I booked. It was not a problem, since I spent most of my time exploring the city and it was well priced. It is close to 2 tube exits, Earl's Court and Gloucester. From Heathrow it's about an hour ride. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great location, close to multiple museums and Hyde Park. The breakfast at the restaurant in the morning was great as well. There is no onsite gym, but for 10 pounds a day they have an arrangement with a gym across the street. I would definitely stay here again!

This boutique hotel is a gem. I was impressed the second I walked in because I was greeted by a very professional and personable team. They genuinely seemed excited to be there. The room was very comfortable and well furnished. Everything was in great working order. They also have an amazing buffet breakfast and the onsite bar had tasty treats in the evening.

The staff at Xenia were fantastic. They took care of need proactively, always gave a warm greeting when coming back to the hotel, knew about local things to do, and just generally went out of their way to be hospitable. Thank you!

Breakfast is simply great. Nice staff and the conservatory with attached terrace invites you to linger. Recommended!

My stay at Xenia was fine. The furnishings were nice, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the staff were attentive and pleasant. For those factors I'd rate it a 4. However, the rooms were small. Not small compared to North American standards, but tiny. As in I'd rate them a 1 star. I've stayed in rooms in Hong Kong that were quadruple the size. As in comically small. As in I couldn't sit on the toilet and not touch the wall in front of me small. As in there is no room for my bag (shoulder carry duffle bag) on the floor so they provide a mat for the end of the bed. As in if there were two people in the room one would need to stay in bed while the other got ready. I wasn't booked into the smallest room either so I have no idea how they could make a smaller room. In fact the room in the Singapore airport that I booked for 8 hours during a layover was probably double the size. Unfortunately while I enjoyed the location and staff, I wouldn't return.

Staff friendly, but this does not justify the proud price per overnight stay as the hotel is not very quiet (Room 203).

I just stayed 3 nights at this hotel! It was great! The service was excellent! I had friends in Kensington and they came to the hotel for dinner, it was very good. Niccolo took very good care of us. Before dinner, Alex made a great espresso martini. If you like them get one from Alex. For my day outings Nicco the bellman would give me the directions I needed and was always welcoming. Stay at this hotel if you come to London.

We had a perfect stay at hotel Xenia. The first impression was very positive and then we were not disapointed. Very friendly staff, nice and comfortable room, very clean. We had breakfast, dinner and tapas at their restaurant "Evoluzione" and everything was perfect. I can only recommend you to stay there when you are in London. That's really a gem. Hotel Xenia… Keep the good work!

Great hotel!, Nice location in Kensington, cool decor and it's part of Autograph Collection, so you still get Marriott Rewards. There's a Marriott right across the street, but if you want a special boutique experience, go to Hotel Xenia. The budget rooms are quite small but it's sufficient. (We had a twin room for a weekend) The staff is very accommodating and helped us with all we needed and we found a new treat in our room every night (cookies, macaroons and mini tarts) We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but you should!

I was pleasantly surprised by this Marriott Autograph Collection hotel. Rooms are inexpensive but have a feel of luxury. The staff is very friendly. I even extended my stay instead of relocating to my regular hotel in central London because I enjoyed it so much. My only complaint is that there is a lot of street noise so if you are a light sleeper, request an interior room. Location is close to Earls Court station.

Delightful Boutique Hotel, friendly staff, from the reception on the door to the bartender who in moments of emptiness exchanges four words to make you feel at home. Reception always ready to meet customer needs and great breakfast. Recommended to anyone looking for a luxury and quiet hotel to visit London. Also close to two metro stations (Earl's Court and Gloucester Road) which allow easy connections to Heathrow. The rooms are small but spotless, cozy and with a really comfortable bathroom. There's really nothing missing from any point of view. Thanks and to the next.

Hotel Xenia is the epitome of boutique excellence! The decor, the service, and the food were superb. Michelin star rated Chef Andrea Angeletti absolutely blew my mind with his revolutionary cuisine at Evoluzione. Mille Grazie!

Great stay. Service was friendly and courteous upon check in. Once we were in our room they called to make sure everything was good with the room. Room was very clean. Only thing that was noticeable was the thin walls. Maybe it was because we were in a small room, but there were time of slight noises.

Hotel Xenia is well located for Kensington & Earls Court, though the nearest tube station is only a few minutes walk away for easy access to the rest of the city. The hotel staff are warm & welcoming, whilst the rooms are small but very comfortable with good amenities & spotlessly clean.

They gave me a hotel room in the basement with almost no natural light for 250 pounds. I don't understand who would ever want such a room, especially at such a price. I requested room to be de-feathered and it took the housekeeper 3 tries to come with the correct linens to fit the bed. The bed itself was comfortable, but I was unable to sleep. I was kept up until past midnight by noisy guests in the next room who were screaming and shouting. All the front desk did to address the problem was call them and ask them to quiet down. I don't understand why they weren't evicted after the third call. This totally ruined my night's sleep and my productivity the next day. When I complained the next morning they offered no apology or compensation and instead just explained that the couple had broken up, as if that would make me feel better? Overall it's the worst night I've had at a hotel in a very long time and I certainly wouldn't recommend staying here.

Rooftop garden was closed due to rain earlier in the day, but lower terrace was open. Nice area with a good selection of drinks. Staff were very attentive.

Great hotel to stay. Price is great for the location. Not far from the Gloucester Rd station where you can access to Piccadilly/Circle/District lines. Rooms are a bit small as expected, but very clean. Service is awesome. Every single staff we have met was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also very good too!

If the rooms would have been little bit bigger there would be one more star. I knew this when I booked thanks to all the reviews here. The personal was so helpful. Made me feel so welcome. I had a tarrace on the roof, three chairs. This was a great hotel. Choose this over the Marriott on the other side of the road.

Stayed here recently with my daughter as a treat for her 40th birthday. The whole experience was just perfect. Lovely room, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was huge. The hotel is in a very good position for seeing the city and also for getting to have a day in Windsor or Hampton court. Will recommend this Hotel to everyone, it really made our break really special.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very courteous. The concierge went above and beyond. He not only suggested a great restaurant and steered us away from one that would be to busy, but he also called and made reservations for us. The area outside is really nice and created a nice atmosphere for nighttime drinks.

We stayed here for two nights, all the staff not only friendly and helpful but also very professional, the restaurant, the food is pretty special, I think next time I will definitely come here again! However, the hotel room was small and very crowded in here barely able to walk, one not careful, will bump onto other things, only for this article, I think I wouldn't come here again!

Very nice hotel in general. Staff was super nice and helpful, and not in a "unnatural" way. Room was nice and quite large, with an excellent bed. Bathroom was nice enough and well equipped, but rather small. The hotel is right on one of the main streets in the Gloucester area, but there were no notice problems at all. The super central location was excellent for travelling to London! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic welcome! Even if atmosphere is very posh (which I love) it does not take anything off the familiar and happy vibe of the staff! Try the restaurant: either for breakfast or dining is great!

Nice hotel — Yes, I know the room was a bit tight. Here in London, but the price is very cheap. Location cannot be better – next to Sainsbury. Along the road is Waitrose, there are many subway stations to choose from. Why go to other hotels to spend more money!

The location of the hotel is very good, very nice and very close to two metro stations in London. Employees are competent, friendly and warm-hearted. Breakfast was also very good. Really is a very good place.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Stayed in a petite double room, which was fine for our needs and provided a good night's sleep.

Only stayed one night and didn't make full use of facilities, but from what I saw it was great. Well decorated, helpful staff and a very tasty breakfast. The location is great with regards to South Kensington. Would return in future without a doubt.

STAFF IS VERY RUDE! Do not ever go there! You definitely want to avoid places like Majestic Hotel! I want to underline that other guy's sentence: "NOT SO MAJESTIC AT ALL! ".

Or in a country of the so-called third world find one thing. Although it seems incredible, my son and I end up infected with scabies in this hotel. I've already made the relevant allegations and have all the medical reports. The relevant body in the United Kingdom should close these establishments. Moreover, it should be absolutamnete forbidden pets in hotel rooms because of the risk of contagion and allergies that may cause in people that staying in them. And it is not a matter of animal rights. There should be places and ' specific for them in hotels when traveling with pets.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 days. In all honesty, we only stayed there to sleep, but the hotel is not all that bad. Some of the staff members can come across as being in a bad mood, others are very polite. We thought we were taken well care off and we are not having doubts of returning to this hotel. However we would like to be more in the center of the city the next time around. The location of the hotel is in fact super, easy to find and easy access to the tube at Earl´s Court, we hardly noticed the traffic allthough we slept with the window open. But if you choose this hotel, DO NOT expect luxury, use it as base for sleeping only. Then it´s good.

Beware of this hotel. We were there for 6 days and it was terrifying: the heating was, windows not closed well, the room was dirty; as a poor 60 Spain hotel.
