Good hotel. The price is accorded to their start rating. Rooms are comfortable and there are many options for breakfast. Maybe, they have to. Improve thr bathroom, it is a little bit old fashioned. The other parts if the hotel are fine.

Around 10 mintues wall from Camden Town Underground/Tube station. Air conditioned and has elevators. Mezzanine is where breakfast is served. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You can leave your baggage by the reception should you need to wander a bit before your ride arrives. A good bit of restaurants, pubs and shops around. The area does tend to get busy in the morning and Camden Station can have some restrictions on entry/exit times, so check well before planning to your visit if you're traveling by tube.

Excellent hotel, brilliantly run by wonderful staff who remembered us from last year. The rooms and beds were very nice I will be back!

Best hotel in the world! Manager Mr Marton is very helpful and friendly and his team members especially Miss Xenia is very sweet natured. The next morning, my son was not well and they served us full English Breakfast to our room! Has a small cafe to buy some food inside the hotel reception area, very convenient and the sandwiches are good. Excellent location! Very near to shops and the Camden-Lock high street, Camden lock & Stable markets. About 5 mins walk! Please take a look at all our pics.

Great room and service. Bar and Starbucks open to guests 24/7. Great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and cafes.

Located in Camden, short distance to some bars and restaurants. Unfortunately our meeting room had no window. Sometimes the room was to cold, sometimes to muggy. Food was ok to great. Everything was clean and decent.

It is what it says on the tin, a buget hotel but nice. We had a penthouse room which wasn't huge but surprising for London city centre and a good view of Camden lock. £5.50 for a beer out of the mini bar was a bit steep.

I attended holiday Inn London Camden for a wedding reception. The function room was perfect for this purpose spacious and bright with windows over looking Camden lock.

We enjoyed a lovely wedding reception here overlooking the locks, the room was lovely and bright and open. The sun streamed in and the decorations were beautiful. We had a fantastic time!

Great location, very kind and hospitable staff. Spacious and particularly clean room with a coffee or tea maker.
We had dinner at the hotel and the food was really good, considering I ate lasagna … and not always in England you can find good italian food.

Excellent hotel, better than I expected. We stayed in the hotel with my family in a family room in the middle of the week while visiting London. When you walk in, the reception and bar/lounge area is very well presented, clean and with plenty of space. The staff on reception were great, very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and large, 2 double beds which were good and comfortable. Bathroom was small but perfect for what we needed. Excellent shower, nice and powerful. Breakfast was great too, plenty of selection of good food, well prepared and presented in a nice area on the 1st floor. Next time we visit London, I'm sure we'll stay here again.

Great as a 4 star hotel if you deserve it, rooms always clean, staff helpful in explaining things, I will be back again.

The rooms were lovely. And the staff was kind and attentive. And the breakfast was delicious.

Was there for a family celebration. Bar under staffed and unbearably slow to serve. Residents bar only serves drinks on a tab linked up to the credit card your room was booked under. Ridiculous considering people sharing rooms. Also they ran out of most drinks before 1 am. All round pretty bad service. Room was sufficient.

Such a great location. Pity the car park's a bit of a walk, but you do get to see the sights on the way. Excellent Wetherspoons next door, too.

Great hotel within walking distance of Camden Market. Very good welcome from the whole team, small attentions very appreciated for the children. Very clean rooms and great breakfast. I recommend!

Had a lovely stay at the holiday inn, great view of Camden lock from our window. Small problem with the TV but was resolved straight away. Lovely helpful staff & a great breakfast. Great stay.

Friendly front desk staff. Room was a good size, and generally clean. Very quiet at night. Beds were comfy. Breakfast quite good, but probably slightly understaffed.

Very good location close to the metro and good beds. Nice staff Top breakfast. Weaknesses: SDB too small, hallway noise.

Good location for our visit to jazz cafe. Clean room with all you would want from a room for the night. Very helpful staff. We would stay there again.

I often use Holiday Inn's lobby as a place to work from on my laptop. The service is always high class and highly attentive, especially from Lorenzo (bartender) and Nick (sales, I believe). Excellent spot nestled just off the heart of Camden.

Had a great night last night, as it was our friend’s wedding and the glass house is a really cool venue. Most staff were helpful and friendly, but the woman working behind the bar had a real attitude problem — she didn’t want to be there and took it out on us, the customers. Also looking on our receipts later on from card payments, they added their own £2.50 tip each time we ordered a single drink. When you’ve had a few drinks and your paying via contactless, you may not be paying attention to how much things are, but the purpose of a tip is to suggest that you’ve appreciated a service. We did not enjoy her service. Also when the night ended, we were quickly hassled out of the venue, as if we were keeping the staff up and extending their shift. We didn’t even reach the curfew time… pretty poor handling of hosting a wedding.

Great location, good views over the lock from our room. A good quality room though the bathroom was a little tired, still nice and clean. The service was excellent. Very good value for London.

Had a great stay at the hotel last night. Had a free room upgrade, which is always good, but service was excellent, rooms were spotless and breakfast was tasty. Executive rooms are very nice. Hotel is easy to get to, right by Camden Lock and Market, which makes it great for sightseeing and to soak up the local vibe. The bar across the street is excellent also!

I attended a professionally event here, everything was well organised and well presented, and staff were friendly. I didn't see much else of the place but it seemed fine.

Good venue and good location for the sights of Camden. Bit expensive for northern tastes, but it is that there London town. A big plus is the breakfast that was well worth the extras. If you are staying this side of London then it's a place to consider for sure.

Nice location (although, be aware of the fact that Camden isn't the most posh part of London, to say the least), close to the underground and the fabulous food court in Camden Market. Friendly staff. Apart from the AC the room was reasonably quiet. Nice breakfast. Carpets could need some extra cleaning.

We have stayed at this hotel many times, mainly when our preferred hotel is full. Location of this hotel is ok but not without its downfalls. It can become very noisy at night from the nightclub next door until the early hours and drunks up and down the corridors not to mention the hookers with clients coming and going. You can hear everything through the walls and the room was too hot as the air conditioning just dripped water all night and blew out warm air. Your electricity will trip, this has happened many times and you have to wait endlessly for reception to answer the phone, only to be passed around as nobody understands or speaks English. Breakfast is always stale and cold so we have stopped taking breakfast here and now go to the cafe around the corner that have more variety and is 60% cheaper. It was check out that really got our goat when the receptionist got his supervisor who came out to "sort us out". We have never been spoken down to, embarrassed and humiliated in front of a lobby full of people by someone who has all the allure of an airline salad. His name was Pablo and he went on to tell us we were wrong on all the problems we relayed. Totally incompetent he stood there stuttering and sweating and without a response he left. The receptionist who was a young chap apologised for his rude manner and we hastily left and will not return! Also they charge a fortune for car parking and by the morning the car park is littered with broken glass from the nightclub.

Beautiful penthouse room, sweet veiw lovely bath and shower ver clean staff were very helpful and friendly had a brilliant romantic weekend.

Went to a wedding holiday Inn Camden Lock had a great night. The food was good. The staff are very friendly. And the view of lock was lovely. I would recommend this place as a lovely venue to have your wedding.

On fourth floor. Room is good staff are excellent and close to all you need in Camden.

If you're looking to stay at the heart of Camden, you got it here. This hotel is located on the canal, perfect for exploring the neighborhood and its culture for laidback food and live music. The rooms are average for Holiday Inn quality, and the Wi-Fi is just fast enough to stream video and take care of business. The staff is the best part. They are very friendly. Their service is above average for the Holiday Inn brand.

Lovely clean rooms, recently refurbished with USB sockets for phone charging. Breakfast was nothing special, buffet with limited selection. Fantastic location right next to the canal. Very limited car parking, so if busy you have to use public car park 10 minutes walk away. Handy for tube.

Osman " The night manager " and his supervisor — even though we'd paid for parking he refused to raise the barrier. We cordially explained we'd paid, he was aggressive and not only refused to let us park physically stopped us from going to the room — despite the fact we have two young children and a baby oh, and it was New Year's Eve. His solution? To involve the police and attempt to have us arrested. The police were fair, allowed us to leave the car and go back to our rooms. So, if you want to go to prison, go to the holiday inn at Camden Town! Thanks guys.

We've stayed here for four years in a row for an annual music gig in Kentish town and we've always had a lovely stay. The reception staff are helpful and friendly, managing to find us a parking space at short notice as I was on crutches, and it was nice to find a "have a nice day" note from the room maid, Nicoleta. My husband is a Spire Elite loyalty card member (we'd never afford the place otherwise! ) so we use points to book the room — however, we were pleasantly upgraded to the huge Executive Room with an amazing view over the whole of Camden Lock. The room was immaculately clean with plenty of complimentary drinks (Nespresso machine too), snacks and toiletries. As it's close to Christmas, it was pretty noisy outside until early morning, but it's what you'd expect and we're not complaining.

We were very happy with our stay. The room was lovely with an excellent view of the lock and breakfast was plentiful — especially enjoyed the freshly made pancakes. Location cannot be faulted either.

Staff at the desk were welcoming, reception area was attractive and well maintained, and my room was very spacious and pleasantly decorated. I didn't use the bar or restaurant facilities.

Arrival was a disaster when they couldn't find our booking and we had to wait for over 20 minutes for them to sort it out! When we got to our room there was graffiti on all the mirrors and walls from previous guests! A young lad came up from reception and said it looked like a welcome greeting although he said he was embarrassed and wasn't sure if it was for us or indeed left over from the previous guest, not what I was paying 260 for! What made it worse is the hotel does not advise you that there is serious demolition works in the adjoining building! So if your booking this hotel for some shut eye then forget it! You have the noise of the drunks outside and then in the early hours in the corridors. At 8AM jack hammers pounding and vibrating through our walls, we missed breakfast in order to get out as quickly as possible. Tamara on check out couldn't of cared less and instead recoiled at my wife's request for an explanation instead abruptly telling us to sit, as though we were dogs while she called her manager. Christine the manager eventually turned up after keeping us waiting, only to argue and even implied we had imagined the noise before she heard it herself whilst we stood at the reception desk. Even then she offered no form of compensation for the disastrous events during our painful stay which was intended as a family break away after the children lost their grandmother last month!

Disappointed initially as the bed in the room was broken on one side. Informed reception and had to call back down twice to get the issue sorted. It was taking too long to sort out and obvious that we needed to change room. The second room was fine staff were polite and apologetic. No mention of problem on checkout.

Where do I start — A 4 person room (2 double beds) cost £149, however, if you want to have 4 people to stay in said room you have to pay £20 extra per person for the 3rd and 4th person. What is even the point of it being a 4 person bloody room in that case? Secondly — They charge £50 to park in their car park for the evening which is absolutely extortionate and quite frankly a bit of a p*** take! They refer you to a dingey and quite honestly scary car park which is a 15 minute walk down the road! Thirdly — I was quite offended when a member of staff stopped us when we returned from our night out to check that we had room keys. I felt that we were being discriminated due to our age. The only good points, clean room and comfortable beds.

I have been using this hotel on a regular weekly basis for many years and have always found the hotel to be of the highest standard. It is often said that the strength of any organisation is its people and that is very true here; if you want 5 Star service at a reasonable price then this is the hotel for you.
