A total shame that a place like Trader Vics is being shut down after 6 decades of service with no fan fare or opportunity to keep this historic tiki location intact. I will never stay at this property again for showing no respect to the tiki community and undervaluing it. Save trader vics london!

Good service / friendly staff.

I only visit this hotel for Trader Vic’s as it’s one of my favourite tiki bars in the world. Amazing decor, fantastic and talented staff, beautiful drinks and it provides the escapism we all seek. Such an important bar in vintage tiki history and so well loved. It’s sacrilege that you’re getting rid of this bar and all it’s history. Once it’s gone it can never be brought back. Really disappointing.

Were were impressed wit the staff as we arrived and had to go quickly to an event. They got us checked in, up to our room, and back down to a waiting taxi in just short of ½ hour! Super service!

Amazing bar on the 28th floor of The Hilton Park Lane. Very welcoming staff, excellent service, beautiful cocktails, lovely atmosphere and an wonderful view over Hyde Park and London beyond. Very tastefully decorated. Right next door to Galvin at Windows, perfect for a pre lunch or dinner drink. No minimum spend and we didn’t need to book in advance. When I initially called to see if we needed to book I was asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, which we were, my friends birthday. The front of house lady organised a little plate of macaron with a birthday message written on the plate and a candle, a perfect little touch. Highly recommend this bar over some of the newer sky bars popping up in London who are charging a huge minimum spend per head. Go to this bar instead. Perfect.

Amazing hotel, staff food, experience nothing better.

First time we'd been here, a top Sunday roast, cocktails to start, excellent choice of starters and mains, good wine, desserts and stickies. Particularly friendly staff. Highly recommended👍

Great and friendly service.

Whilst the room was a little on the small side it had a great view of the park and was well equipped. Our main issue was with the restaurant and bar experience. Trader Vics restaurant had a good atmosphere but the food was really poor and nothing like the standard we had read about in the reviews. We were unable to stay for drinks after our meal in the bar area due to it being fully booked and we were then unable to be go in the Windows bar on the 25th floor because it was also full with no priority for guests staying in the hotel. Finally woken up at 3am with other guests slamming doors so overall a bit of an underwhelming experience.

This is our second visit to this fantastic hotel. We love the location for walking and for easy access to the underground. Staff are so help nothing is to much. Will be returning very soon.

Went for a dinner for a 21st birthday. Delicious food from a 3 course meal with prosecco. Yummy foodies. Highly recommend.

Had a while to wait for my room and a little unhappy with that since I had a long flight and just want to rest. I was told I could wait in the executive lounge didn’t find that clean … no food…
They forgot to give me my wake up call almost missed my train the following day.
I will mention great staff and great location… walking distance to shops restaurants pubs.

I went to Hilton Park Lane on Friday 28th of Sep after a long day at work, but as I knew I made myself ready for the occasion wearing chic clothes as usual so once I got to Hotel I was extremely hungry, and looking forward to having my dinner. Once we were given a table, waitress came to ask for our order explaining different dishes and asked for the choice of wine. After a while our food arrived, looking appetising, I had a generous chicken portion and my husband had Salmon which was grilled skilfully to the perfection. I liked the bread we had before our starter arrived, as it was made with 3 different type of flour, brown white and a mixture of both, bread was also glazed on the top and tasted delicious. Our dessert was tasty and very similar to what contestants make on Baked Off! We were served by an Italian waiter who was very helpful when we asked about the region of the best Pizza in Italy. What a wonderful night we had, food was great and the service exceptional.

Went to the roof bar here. The staff are very nice. They offered to take my bags to the cloakroom without me even thinking about it. I ordered a drink which was very nice and the waitress was kind enough to take a picture of me sitting by the window on request. They go above and beyond here. Their location is right on hyde park and the tube station is not far of a walk. The view is pretty good too.

Stayed for 3 nights to visit London and enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. Everything was perfect. All the members of the team were charming and very helpful, the room was very nice, well equipped bathroom.

We did a wedding here last Saturday. Very very helpful Banquet Service Manager Andrew. He was absolutely brilliant for the 2 days we worked here. Nothing was too much trouble for him to help us with. He deserves "EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH' which he says he has never been awarded!. Venue is easy to work in. Loading bay not to easy, but the large lift helps to make it easy to set up for functions here.

Fab location. Walk to many museums, Buckingham Palace, Westminster, the river and other popular tourist locations. (1-2 mile walks generally) Beautiful park right across the street to take a stroll through. Close to bus tour stops for easy access to hop on hop off. Hotel rooms are modern (not dated). Elevators run fast. Lounge is big with good variety of drinks and finger food. Definitely a place as a solid hub to visit London.

Beautiful 5 Star hotel in the most luxurious part of London, Mayfair. Park Lane is one of the most famous roads in London with Hyde park set opposite. Beautiful interior, with marble floors. Choice of a few different bars within, luxury high end gift shops and restaurants. The lifts are high tech with selection of floor before you enter via the touchscreen.

Succinctly, the room and bathroom are ok, the view from the window is decent.

Treated to afternoon tea yesterday, I have a nut allergy which was delt with incredibley well the choice I had was brilliant I have been to other top establishments and the choice I given was poor. The cakes were just Devine. Out waiter Jes (jez) was so attentive on hand for every thing we needed.
To top it off it was a Birthday treat for both of us and he sorted a treat out for us.

It was my birthday yesterday and my daughter took me here for champagne afternoon tea. The food and service was amazing. They put happy birthday confetti on our table and gave me a cup cake birthday cake with a candle. Excellent day. Would recommend this place for a special day.

(Review for the Galvin at Windows restaurant) Fantastic, friendly, human service, delivered by caring staff. Meal was somewhat small for the price but it's a one-off special occasion. Three out of four of the party were vegan, and they had a full separate menu for us. A great evening :)

Very good hotel with friendly staff. It is centrally located and much is also within walking distance. The house offers the best view of the city, the rooms were clean and nice. We had executive room with access to the lounge which will be a bit crowded in the evening. There were snacks, very good Kanabes and drinks. Fast Internet as well as IPTV cost extra and is expensive, for normal surfing but OK. Happy to be back!

Hotel in the name prestigious but far from being up to par… Breakfast whose taste and quality are an insult to the kitchen. The room gets the mention passable… but can do better.
The only advantage of this hotel is its undeniable location.

The hotel is good. The people are friendly. And it is located at the heart of London. Special shout out to Wendy of The Podium. She is very accommodating. Just one area of improvememt though. When we checked in at Room 520, it smelled like a septic tank. In fairness to the staff, when we called their attention, they immediately transferred us to another room.

This is clearly one of the premium locations for Hilton in London and that showed throughout the whole visit. We stayed in a "King Executive Room", having received an Honors status upgrade at check in. Our room, on a high floor had westerly views over Hyde Park. The hotel's design means that other rooms are likely to have (limited) views into your room. Aside from this small reduction in privacy, everything in the hotel was very good. The Executive Lounge offered the same service as most Hilton hotels with complimentary canapes and (alcoholic) beverages in the evening. We chose to take breakfast in the hotel lobby restaurant and there was a vast selection of fresh fruit, hot and cold foods. There was also an attended egg and pancake/waffle station. The bar and restaurant (Galvin at Windows) are open to the general public and are both quite busy. They both offer unrivalled views of London. The cocktails are travel themed and generally cost £17. A beautiful hotel with great views and facilities ideally placed for Mayfair.

Good food, great prices when going with a voucher. Deserts are lovely. However the roast chicken is quite dry in my opinion. The salmon and steak looked great. I had a cherry creme brulé. Was nice. Would go again.

Top notch location, service and amenities. We spent a week in London and this was the perfect place to use as a base for our adventures. We upgraded to the Executive level and got access to the Executive suite. They laid out scrumptious meals and snacks that were available from 6am-11pm. Will definitely stay here again!

We had the festive themed afternoon tea which was fantastic. We took our 9 month old with us and the staff were so great with her and she had a great time sitting and watching everything going on. The food was delicious and service couldn't have been better. Would highly recommend their afternoon tea.

Had a wonderful meal in Trader Vics yesterday. Great service by lovely staff and really tasty food too which was different from the usual Christmas menus.

Went there for the toilets. A little hard to find but nice toilet. Large, spacious and clean. Well done.

Disaster. Never again. Expensive and then got wrong room. A bed too little. Catastrophic customer Service. Had to wait one hour at night to another room which still had a bed too little. Unfriendly.

I have decided to review and only given this hotel 4 stars because I felt the prices of some of their menus were a bit steep in comparison to other similar hotels, which brings me to the conclusion that I was part-paying for the W1 Mayfair postcode, and part paying for their usual excellent service. Lift waiting times can also be an issue at times. Other than that, all very good.

Had the Christmas afternoon tea yesterday and it was the best afternoon tea I have had. Sandwich’s were very tasty, the scones were nice and warm, the cakes were all delicious and plenty of good tea, coffee and champagne and the staff were very helpful and made you very welcome. We had the most enjoyable time at the Hilton and would highly recommend it.

It's was OK. I was expecting amazing but got allright. Christmas decorations in the restaurant was poor as we went for Nutcracker Tea theme teas all there was 2 Large nutcracker shape things to one side. Service from the friendly staff was very good. Gents toilets miles away upstairs and not signed posted, I was wandering around like a lemon looking for them.

I spent a very enjoyable evening at a function at this world famous hotel. In one of the main function rooms, they served around 600 people with a wonderful meal in what seemed like five minutes for each course for the whole room. There must have been dozens of staff but they were efficient and discrete and never put a foot wrong. Can't wait to go again!

Having stayed at various Hilton Hotels previously, I found this one a little beneath their own standards. The staff are not at the customer service level of their other hotels, the house keeping was almost non existent (they don't even make the beds daily), just replace the towels that you leave on the floor. The carpet in the room is a little on the nose, but this is a UK thing. The location is perfect. The breakfast is nice and plentiful. The gym is totally lame and it's better to train outside of the hotel. The park across the road is perfect for a good run or jog or walk.

I've been lucky enough to come here on a number of social events, such as award dinners. The overall service and standards are good, as you'd expect, the prices are also on line with expectation. I can't comment on the hotel however as I've not stayed. If you have high expectations of what a prestigious hotel in Mayfair should offer, it will definitely meet those expectations, but not perhaps, surpass them…

Stayed Sept 19, after an all day flight from Chicago. Since we were upgraded to a suite, our stay was perfect in every way — except being too short — only one night. Still, we greatly enjoyed the hospitality!

My Husband and I went for the chocoholics afternoon tea. We enjoyed the sandwiches and the tea. When we were served our tea, we were wondering why so many guests are leaving their desserts half untouched. Being a big fan of chocolates, I was sure I would not waste any. But the desserts were too bittersweet even for me and couldn't eat more than 3 desserts. Not worth the money.

I liked this hotel. Staff were courteous and polite when I attended an industry awards ceremony at the weekend. Service could have been more balanced, with some waiting times between courses/confusion over vegetarian dishes, and after dinner coffee never showing up.

Pros: Incredibly helpful, thoughtful and attentive staff. Great quality food. Neat and clean facilities. Con: the decor it starting to look a little dated (but still all in good condition)

Nice location I suppose, good room size. But not wheel chair or baby buggy accessible as most of the function rooms are only accessible by steps. Done of the decor is starting to look dated too and need a bit of professional maintenance.

Afternoon tea was very well presented. Staff generally attentive. Open rather than finger sandwiches were served — all very fresh. Scones warm and fluffy. Would have preferred a good jam rather than a 'sauce'. Cakes and delicacies overly sweet for my taste but otherwise lovely.

My husband booked a massage and facial in the spa at the hotel. The customer service was great. The massage was amazing. They listened to us and were very welcoming. I'll definitely be going back.

I went for the Chocolate afternoon tea. The service was very friendly and quite prompt and the room was quite open and modern. There was a nice variety of teas and 'half' sandwiches. Portions were a little small but our waiter made it clear that we could request for more sandwiches. The pastries and scones were delicious and not too heavy. Some were a little sweet but were balanced by lighter or sour pastries. The coffee pastry was particularly excellent. If I were to change anything, I would like more interesting sandwiches. They were fine but some (such as the egg sandwich) weren't anything special and a little bland.

Food and drinks at Trader Vic's were both very good but the pricing is laughable. Ordered scjickwn skewers for 12 pounds and the tiniest 4 skewers came our. The same was true for the spring rolls only they were only two small spring rolls cut in half. Outrageous even for a hotel bar. You could almost justify it if it were the bar at the top, with great views, but not a basement bar. Again, food and drinks were tasty and service was fine but I won't be returning there.

Went here for the chocaholics afternoon tea for two at the Podium restaurant. It was one of the best I had been to. There was a good reasonable choice of teas and the staff were very accommodating. There were a great choice of sandwiches and the desserts were great. At the regular price it perhaps seemed quite pricey, but I'd say it was worth every penny. The service was fantastic.

Great location in mayfair right in the middle between oxford and knightsbridge, and next to the hydepark.

Didn't like the rooms at all. They need serious renovation and the hotel is so busy and crowded all the time. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is good though.

Not too bad considering number of attendees àt the dinner. Over 300 people. But we were processed, and the service was military. Not concerned with individuals, more interested in getting through it. Food was OK. Not a place I would book for a personal event. Not a 5 star hotel experience. A good 3 star experience in my opinion. Very very large scale impersonal. Favourite moment? I asked reception if they had a plastic bag and he looked left and then right, then phoned someone, he didn't say who, and after speaking to them informed me he did not have a plastic bag. I was actually embarrassed for him. Very very sad.

It was situated in a very good location. With deligent, humble and very ptoffesional members of staff. I will love to visit the hotel again and again.

The London Hilton on Park Lane was a lovely way to spend the special occasion of an investiture. Helpful staff were always available to help. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Not much to look at from the outside but good views over London from the rooms. Lots of options for food inside the hotel (all a bit on the pricey side, but what do you expect in London). Join the Hilton club at check in for free Wi-Fi.

The hotel prices in London was good. Room view was very beautiful (the views but most are weak-side of the hotel), is very clean. Hotel location is very good, is located in the heart of London. Hotel has a very nice cocktail bar, near the top, also has a fun Tiki Bar in the basement.

Came here this week for a meeting of 500 people, the Conference itself flows well, part of the — 3 meal service was good. Although not the best, but good, too. The food was delicious, we drank something. Site is very good, drinks purchased provisions is ridiculous, 28 British pound 4 beers, this is probably London's standards, but I think it's ridiculous.

Nice rooms, fantastic views over central London (the London Eye, the Shard) or over Hyde Park. Good location, walking distance too many of the major sights. Good options for transport, buses, tube (Hyde Park Corner station on the Northern Line, short walk to Green Park Station on the Victoria and The Piccadilly lines) and a "Boris Bike" docking station outside the hotel.

This hotel has luxurious rooms guests come to expect from the Hilton brand. Many rooms have sweeping views of London. Its location near Hyde Park is perfect for tourists and business travelers alike. The hotel Wi-Fi is fast enough for business meetings and streaming. I would stay here again.

Galvin at Windows is expensive but totally worth the view and atmosphere. Trader Vics and the banquet area serve great food.

Not as Expected Service. Last day I discovered coffee arrangement in the room which was hidden in a drawer. No water bottles the first day and had to go out to buy one. It is more of 3 star in term of room service.

Hotel Hilton, what can I say the executive hotel that we all know and love. Exactly what we can expect from its 5 star service. It has amazing food and amazing room service. The staff have the best training and will taylor everything to your needs. I could recommend this hotel to anyone that likes quality service.

When you're surrounded by classy hotels everywhere, its really disappointing when you walk up to the Holton. It looks like a glorified prison, as it's a high rise concrete heaven… Inside is slightly better but its dull and boring.

Disappointing tired and well past its best. Plumbing atrocious. Queues for breakfast more than 20 people long and lifts that took forever to arrive.

Very nice hotel and very roomy rooms for London but the shower wasn't draining at all (I know it can happen but at a hotel of that class I expect regular maintenance to ensure this actually doesn't happen) AND Wi-Fi was very slow and kicking me and colleagues out (on laptop and phone) every 10 minutes or so which was incredibly frustrating for a business hotel.

We were hosted in may, and was an unforgettable experience for many things, but especially by the treatment provided by the staff, with a special mention to Marcos, receptionist, professional everyone would like to find in our travels. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk of the tourist attractions, comfortable and clean rooms with wonderful views. What we recommend and will return safe.

The massage at "Spa to You" is ridiculous, she causes me back pain, I don't she is even a trained masseuse.

Weekend from 13 to 16 January 2015, we spent the weekend in room 1210. Nice view. Beautiful location between Picadilly and Oxford STREET 5 min walk. Hotel located in the centre at 1/2 hour walk from BIG BEN, of Ms. TUSSAUD, British museum, 5 minutes walk through the Park of the Palace of the queen Elisabeth to attend the changing of the guard, dirty sweet vegetarian buffets, etc. Etc. Of small lunch impeccable quality and quantity, the staff at the top of the top. But for 1287 euros 3 nights and breakfast, we expected to perfection (mainly household and Wi — Fi in + or 19 euros for 3 nights).

The hotel is very impressive, in both quality and service. But sometimes you can get better rooms at near by hotels with the similar prices. However, if you choose to stay here, never miss the breakfast. It's good.

22nd July 2014 nearly 6.00-7.00 pm I wanted to visit some of my friends in hilton but I did not have pass as the security guards were asking for then I was calling my friends to come down they came and wanted to let me in but the security guards did not let me in in front of the guest who came to take me in. While he was talking to security then he got hurt in the spinning door the door cause the security was pushing us back. It was very much insulting. Later on I called the number provided on hilton website, they said if the guest of hilton come to take their own guest there should not be any problem. So I did not understand why then they ask for pass and too rude! it was completely disgusting, frustrating and insulting. I expect tht The management of hilton should take about m y experience.

Took my family to England (first time for my 11 and 9 year old girls) and was looking for a one room suite – after deciding not to try and book two separate rooms. I did extensive reviews and was really quite nervous about the whole thing. I finally decided on the Park Lane Hilton – Grosvenor Suite. We arrived early Monday morning and the room was ready. Initially it was configured with a sofa and a king bed in two separate rooms with a spacious bathroom and foyer. Really quite a large room by any standards (I travel a lot in North America) and this was as nice a room as I have stayed in at some very luxury hotels. A quick call to the concierge and two roll away beds were positioned in the second room which were quite comfortable for my two children (both tall for their age). The room gave us access to the executive lounge and a very nice breakfast every morning – a really nice perk as we all got a nice meal at the beginning of each day. The breakfast was very good – traditional English with pastries and coffees. The temperature in the room was very easy to adjust and was often on the cool side. It was warm in London while we were there so this was nice. Cold drinks always available in the Executive lounge. The hotel was easy walking distance to two separate tube lines (Green Park where you could jump on the Piccadilly, Victoria and Jubilee lines and Hyde Park Corner on the Piccadilly line). We took the Gatwick express from the airport and then a cab from Paddington.

Had afternoon tea through an offer on groupon. Lovely afternoon with a friend for her birthday would recommend and definately go back. Enjoy if you do.
