The customer service was excellent and would make me go back to a Hilton. The quality of breakfast was excellent and the staff were really helpful. We had an issue with our room and was moved to another room the next night without any problem. A good hotel with brilliant customer service and satisfaction.

The price does not match the quality in either the rooms or the service. A very tense threesome!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, in fact, much more so than the reps at the main Hilton reservation office. I had to split my stay into three separate reservations and they ensured I could stay in the same room the entire time. In fact, the staff was what pushed this up from a lower rating. The room was below average. Old and stained fixtures, the air conditioner didn't work, the TV would turn on randomly during the night, and the window (I was on the "quiet facing side") opened to the interior alley, where construction started around 06:30 every morning. Also, beware that the closest tube station has restricted hours.

Staff are kind and very helpful. The breakfast is ok too. Most floors I've seen are fairly recently updated but the basement level could do with a bit if love. I think they spread the staff a bit thinly as I see them trying to juggle way too many things at times but that's not their fault at all.

Hotel Room is clean and perfect. Good services. TV remote did not work properly in my room. Nice selection of toiletries. 2 extra towels and sheets was provided. Complimentary breakfast was great. Buffet had all the must eat food for the British breakfast. Enjoyed the delicious food. Would recommend to anyone who is travelling to London. Very connected. Bus stop is near by. For reaching the under ground, you need walk about 10-15 minute.

Very nice Hilton. It's old, most visible in the ancient elevators creaking between floors. Rooms however are very well appointed and comfy. Service is great. Executive lounge was wonderful. Exercise space is way too small. Restaurant is very good.

A nice and stright forward hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The gym was small with only a few machines but by no means the worst I've seen. Our room was clean, tidy and of a decent size. My only real issue with the place was that it's quite a walk to the underground.

Rooms clean but dated. Windows don't fit so very noisy and winter drafts, we visited in February. My wife had to cover her head with her overcoat to keep warm. Noise insulation between rooms poor. Car park expensive and very tight. Restaurant and bar very good, breakfast good. Staff excellent and attentive.

To me this is probably the best Hilton around. Helpful and polite staff; Liked the reception arrangement, plus it feels cozy. Clean rooms, updated bathrooms and appliances. Our room was really cozy and it had a nice vibe. The breakfast is good and has a nice variety of foods to choose from. There are a few things to check around the area too. I would definitely visit again.

Bad: dirty, bad smell of carpet; Rooms and structure old. Heating not working (we had to report that the temperature was icy to have a heater) concierge little available and not prepared (they did spend $50 of taxi and 2 hours to get to a connection with wrong airport — we Trust me and we didn't check it out) good: breakfast, nice waiter but very crowded room; Very convenient for events at Olympia Stadium for the value for money I would never stay here again.

Decent hotel in central Kensington. Close to a good bus route. The hotel lobby is very smart, but the floors above are dated, shabby and in need of a little care and attention. Rooms have all you need (safe, free Wi-Fi, ironing board, hairdryer, bath and shower, Fri, tea and coffee making facilities, etc) but are fairly small and with next to no views (see photograph! ).

Very good location. Close to station and his stops. High street Ken shops are a short work. The decore and room isn't really worth the price. Dated look. Lift was playing up. Had to get someone up to fix the toilet. I doubt I will stay again there.

Hilton has always been one of the top hotels. Amazingly built hotel. Attended an event here. Only drawback was with the Hilton parking. With Capacity of very limited cars and overly expensive parking rates starting at £12 for 2 hours. Other than that it was all good.

Good location if you don't want to be right in the centre of town. Not many great places directly around hotel but a short distance to Kensington high street. Good location for business travel. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast. Some of the best hotel staff I've met in the UK (particularly the breakfast staff)

Nice room. Clean and comfortable. Stones throw from London Olympia. Room came with toiletries, safe, iron, ironing board and usual teas and coffee. TV in room. If I was picky I'd say there was a slight lack of lighting over the bed and the aircon was a little noisy. Staff very pleasant. Bar was excellent. Breakfast offered just about everything including continental and full English. I stayed for 3 days and had no issues or problems.

The hotel has the Best. Times seen, Rooms lived, staff overwhelmed until Indifferent. Investment Congestion.

Hotel very close to the fair Ble and with varied breakfast. Improve the locate and the plugs out of use.

Nice and friendly staff. Narrow corridors. Nearest underground station is Barons Court, about 15 minutes walk. I was travelling alone, and the price was also a factor in decision making. That said, the Costa next door is a great asset. Staircases at floor level means carrying baggage to rooms may be an issue. Otherwise a nice place.

I stayed in a single room for two nights. The staff were friendly and helpful at check in and the room was clean and comfortable. The room service was a bit slow, but the staff were apologetic and quickly got everything back on track. This hotel is outside of the main tourist area, but the bus stop is very close and the ride into the centre of London is only about 30 minutes. I felt safe here even when I returned to the hotel later in the evening.

Given its name and price, I have to say I'm a little disappointed with our stay. 20 years ago I'm sure this would have been a 5 star hotel, now it's showing wear and tear. Fixtures and fittings look rusted, bath looks worn and there are old stains in the carpet, to give a few of many examples. Onto the pros, the double room itself is basic but large which was ample for two of us. Also the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is super useful if you're planning on visiting the Olympia. If you are planning on staying I highly recommend including breakfast. Good quality, and excellent range of choices topped off with attentive service. Would I stay here again? If it had a decor update or was half the price, sure. Otherwise, I'll pass.

Not the most attractive hotel but it's centrally located close to Kensington gardens and near some bus and train (tube) stations. There's an attached restaurant and coffee shop and there's a good pub just down the road. There's also a supermarket a few doors down and a laundromat about 10 minutes walk away. The desk staff are friendly but really didn't seem to know the area. There's no "facilities" to speak of. No pool but apparently there is a gym in the basement. I didn't find it. The rooms were clean and quiet in terms of street noise but there were some serious plumbing issues as toilets flushed incredibly loudly. The rooms had tea and coffee but no refrigerator (staff kindly gave us buckets of ice). The stars here are more or less solely for location.

This is the third time we have stayed in the Hilton Olympia while we worked at the Great British Beer Festival. We found the reception staff extremely helpful and friendly on arrival. Our room was overlooking the back of the hotel which was fine because in previous visits we have overlooked the main road which can be very noisy. As usual the breakfast was lovely with so much choice. The staff in the restaurant were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them. We have had a fantastic stay and we are already looking forward to our stay next year. I have to agree with some of the other reviews about the cleanliness. I did notice that our bathroom wasn't cleaned to the same standards as before. The bottom sheet on our bed wasn't straightened for the six nights that we were there, the duvet was just thrown over the top! These are just minor points which hopefully will be rectified before next August.

A little dated Hotel with small rooms and bathrooms. Cleanliness and service OK. Great location.

Not at the level of the other Hilton.

The final stop on our 12 night journey through Europe and the Olympia was the perfect place to rest. The rooms were very clean and the service was awesome. We really liked the restaurant. The food was awesome and service was always with a beaming smile. Unfortunately for me, I did not get the name of the hostess who was especially nice to my son. She always had a smile on her face and was extremely pleasant. The concierge was informative and very helpful. He directed us to the best tour in the city.

Bed is harder than the floor. The elevators are tiny to say the least. Decent location to the Olympia. My room was spacious with a decent view of the Eye. The hotel had an odd smell. Will not return unless on a budget.

Hotel very well placed and accessible in London, beautiful bar, the rooms are however a bit austere.

Although it looks very traditional and 80s, and does need a revamp, I do like this Hilton. It grows on you while you're in it. For those who are Diamond Members it's a proper exec lounge, complete with a nice little food selection and a good variety of different drinks. You can even take big bottles of water back to your room with you, it's really nice! I would recommend this one. While it may not be the best, it really does try to stand out as trying to stay true to the Hilton brand.

Perfect for those who have business meetings in Olympia.

Clean and comfortable Hotel, conveniently located and well served by public transport, with bus lines 9, 10, 27 and C1 which stop less than 50 meters from the main entrance.

Very nice, located at 15min from the center, very clean and great service suitable for any age.

It's pretty old and outdated. Don't stay here. It is not an american style Hilton by a long shot. One word. Yuck!

Pre-checked in online and chose the 8th floor with a view towards the fantastic London skyline. Service was great and the room was nice and spacious. The bath was a little dirty from what looked like a previously fitted shower mat but that didn't bother me. Only down side is that breakfast was not included in the price of £180 a night.

From my room being constantly cold to my TV not working, to the rooms feeling less than standard. Really a let down. The only great thing about this hotel was the awesome people. Lovely staff who smile and have a good convo with you every step of the way.

Older hotel and not very close to a tube stop but great staff. About a mile walk to a large indoor mall and about 0.5 miles from the closest tube stop. Rooms are very small. Nice cafe attached.

The toilets were incredibly loud! The reception staff had some members who were extremely arrogant making us feel unwelcome. The deadbolt was loose as well but that just gave the place a cheap look instead of making us feel unsafe. It was clean but the price of the room certainly warranted a better experience.

The room I stayed was next to the air ducts and there was a rat body next to my windows. It is also getting old. But other than that, staff are nice and location is not too bad.

Location perfect for visit to the Ideal Home Show at London Olympia. Very comfortable bed. Warm. Not enough complimentary shower gel.

Restaurant was very good, staff were lovely and accommodating. Couldn't fully shut the Windows in the bedroom, so suffered from a bad night sleep. Otherwise would have made it to 5 stars.

Superb conference facilities overall — excellent food, friendly and engaging staff. Room was a great size but the audio quality from the speakers could have been a lot better. Great place for a conference however.

This hotel sound or from the outside it looks like a very nice look. Previously it was OK. But many argue that this hotel needs to be renovated, and the reason for forgetting this hotel by Hilton surprised. I guess this hotel General renovations we've been missing, internal maze of narrow, bent over to wash the shower in this hotel doesn't look like has been renovated look. So given the current, this hotel is close to excellent geographical location of the Olympic Games …

Room was supposedly 4* but I would struggle to give it 2*. Room was in a very dilapidated state, bath was stained and shower leaked so much it flooded the bathroom, there was large amounts of grout missing from the tiles, the carpet In the bedroom was worn and had lumps and bumps in it. Enough to make you trip over. The clock radio provided in the room would not emit and sound (even when useing the mp3 function) the TV took 6 seconds to respond to a controller input making useing the TV an incredibly frustrating affaire. Untll this hotel has an update charging the money it does is an outrage.

Public areas and service very nice, had good time at the bar. Corridors and rooms look a bit dated. Perfect location for overnight stay.

Reception is nice and staff are friendly, room is out dated with cheap energy saving fluorescent lights, the street noise is horrendous which prevents a good night sleep, I might as well have slept on the street and saved £160 a night.

Very nice and helpful staff who do their best to accomodate their customer's requests. New nice bathroom in the room, for once more than enough storage, very nice bed (once you remove the extra soft mattress topper). Plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets close by. The downsides are small things but it's silly how uncomfortable the stay can get because of them: the nearest Tube station is very far, although I'm a keen walker. The room was freezing cold, no matter what I tried with the heating (although in bed it was warm enough). A very loud noise can be heard in the rooms on the first floor, from some air vent just outside the windows I guess? ; even with good silicone earplugs we could still hear it and it made it difficult to sleep. Then the fridge… there are gaps for the products they sell you (it looks a bit like a small vending machine) and your card will be charged if you remove one, it seems. As a result, you can't keep any of your own things in the fridge… very inconvenient, and for no reason. This little fridge also has an engine that starts from time to time in order to keep the temperature right, as all fridges do… but it was so loud that it could wake me up. No way to switch off or unplug the little machine… Why the curse of being systematically unable to sleep when staying in a hotel? Then, one day, just before 5 am, fire alarm. 30 minutes at 9º in the street… someone had lit a cigarette in his room, apparently. Only that?

The bed was very soft. The staffs where kind. Bath room was very nice. The room was very neat. The breakfast was very nice!

The goodstuff: Attentive staff, courteous and very helpful. Fantastic breakfast. Good location. Downside: Although fairly clean, the decor is very out-dated. Room size very small too.

This was the first time I stayed in a Hilton hotel and it was a total disappointed. The room deco was so outdated and the room looked so depressing. The flush of the toilet was not working properly. The carpet of the room looked quite stained and disgusting. I can't see myself coming back to this hotel. The hotel is no way a 4 star. Beware! A 2* B&B is much better that this. If you are looking for a place to relax then this is definitely not the right place.

What an awful experience this was! Was really looking forward to staying in a Hilton hotel, I mean after all it's a Hilton, you'd think it would be exactly what it says on the box — wrong! Firstly we were put in a tiny room in the corner of what I can only describe as something out of the twilight zone, seriously, the 70's called they want their decor back. Secondly the room was dirty, found a finger nail on the dressing table, the toiletries were already used and the TV didn't work. The mini bar wasn't fully stocked and the "tray" of snacks only had a small jar of peanuts on it? Will not stay here again, and if you have any sense you wouldn't either!

Not the best Hilton I have been to. Room decor is dated and the bathroom fittings were quite in need of a refurbishing. The breakfast was good, however the staff on the whole were subpar. Some were short-tempered and some could not be bothered to attend to much of what was needed. This is true of both the restaurant staff as well as the front desk staff. Also, the hotel is quite far from the nearest tube station, High Street Kensington; not an easy walk with luggage. That said, there are plenty of cabs available at the hotel itself, and the availability of oyster cards in the giftshop was a pleasant surprise. Not sure I would stay here again unless it went through a complete redo.

Not sure why this hotel is rated four stars, other than its restaurant/bar area which is immaculate. Rooms are averagely decorated, nothing built into the price of the room, TV doesn't work cause of the software designed at ripping you off, room is incredibly hot, air conditioning is like a Nun's cough (pointless), windows don't open and if you pick the water bottle up, they'll charge you £3.95! I'll never stay at another Hilton after this experience.

Hilton London Olympia Hotel is one of the best hotels in London that have ever visited. Love it.

I spent a week in this hotel and I was filled. I will stay again in this hotel without hesitation.

It is in the middle, between Barons Court and Hammersmith Tube Station. Take the bus from either to the hotel for less walking. There is a Tesco if you take a right from the front door; across the street, where you can buy water, fruit, sandwiches, groceries, etc. For much less than the street vendors. Plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops close by and a very nice neighborhood. It was unusually hot and humid this trip so it was too warm for me in the room, but that was not their fault but the weathers. The concierge and desk staff were very helpful and nice enough to help me with any request I had. I would definitely stay here again.

Quite surprised to read so many derogatory comments about this Hotel, the work of competitors may be?
I stayed at this hotel from 26 to 30 December 2013 and our stay was very pleasant.
The staff was friendly and attentive, the deluxe room is very well laid out and the tub in the bathroom very appreciated especially after a day of walking in London. The breakfast is simply gargantuan and the situation of the hotel is top: two steps from the bus station which allows to reach Trafalgar Square in ten minutes! Really great I recommend it.

This must be the worst Hilton ever. Booked a standard room and expected a room. I'd call it an oversized walk in closet. And the furniture. Desk full of scratches, floor lamp leaning like the tower of Pisa. I am appalled that Hilton let's their customers stay like this. I am a loyal Hilton customer and now I don't understand why.

Atrocious service! Neglectfully treated the fact that my fiance had a reservation under his company's corporate account — didn't believe him and didn't want to check. Decided they would much rather charge him a couple thousand dollars personally and not until after corporate called in this morning, did they refund him his money. No apology, no offer to upgrade, not even a free cup of coffee. He has to be there for a week so here's hoping they start making things right. Arghhhhh. So mad at how they've treated him.

My stay went like clockwork. I prepared in advance a long list of attractions and events I wanted to visit — starting from Kensington Gardens of course. My hopes rested in covering at least half of the list. I cannot believe I actually covered over 90% of it. Had it not been for the excellent transport links and the precision of the staff, I would never succeed.
