This Hilton hotel has a good location, a food access to underground, overground transport, near to a shopping mall with lots of good restaurants. They serve a complete breakfast with fresh food. The executive lounge is useful during a day and the happy hours to grab a drink and go. However, it is clearly not at the height of one's expectations in terms of the amenities, cleanness and the quality of the building. The upkeep hasn't been done for a while and the place needs a major renovation. I was disappointed the second I entered the floor where my room was located. Doors are scratched and carpets are dirty. The only thing that works is the digital key.

Optimal location. We were very disappointed with the room cleaning service not carried out on one occasion. We have informed the reception on the day of departure with serenity and received the changes a "sorry". Then I sent an email because anyway it didn't seem right a simple sorry, also because my partner is a historical customer of the Hilton and for this we would have expected something more… but we didn't get an answer.
This review is negative not so much for the quality of the stay, still valid although with that negative aspect, but especially for not re managed in quality the post sale for a client and historical, but also not necessarily. I expected a lot more to compensate for a disruption such as the lack of room and bathroom cleanliness.

Old Hotel but clean. Booked on booking we paid little to be in London. Very convenient location with the Metro and also a few meters from the biggest shopping centre in Europe!

Great location (5min walk from tube station). Lunch was great (healthy options). Staff happy and friendly. Not busy so did not have to wait to be served at counter or during lunch. Overall, excellent experience.

Small room and noisy bed.

This hotel is very nice and in a good location within walking distance of tube. The bathroom has excellent counter space for all your things. The room is a good size and clean.

A good hotel. Room size was small to my liking as is the toilet size. But then this is London. Staff courteous. Tube station Shepard's Bush is 5 minutes walk. I recommend it strongly for a short stay.

Lovely hotel, stayed here a few times over the last couple of years. The beds are comfy and the bathroom has always been clean. The buffet breakfast is great and has a wide selection, it’s definitely worth adding it on to your booking before you get there, the price is much higher if you decide on the day.

4 stars with rusty lamps and shower curtain rail. Totally used sink had jump.

Excellent location, great service. Enjoyed the executive lounge I had access to as part of HHonours. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on. Room was open and clean. All toiletries as expected. Overall a great experience.

Wasn't sure what this would be like as the last Hilton I stayed as was not good. But this was excellent. Fabulous room. Lovely shower. Excellent breakfast and service. Would highly recommend.

Great breakfast decent room staff welcoming.

Hotel is located in between Holland park and shepherds Bush stations. The public areas are nice and I think have been updated in the last few years. The rooms are pretty tired and the room I had was tiny with no bath. It also had what looked like a terrace but I could get out to it. The executive lounge was lovely and has a set of great staff working in it also. Very friendly and attentive. It has a good offering and a nice atmosphere in the evenings, does get extremely busy. I liked this hotel, I would try to get a bigger and better room next time.

The service and communal/public facing areas are of a high standard. The food at the restaurant is of a high quality and there's a large range of breakfast options available. The rooms however are a different story, the bed is nice and comfortable however the rooms look a bit dated, surfaces are worn down and gives off a run down look. Overall though, my visit has been a pleasant one.

We upgraded our room slightly and stayed for three nights, on the 6th floor. The staff are lovely and the breakfast is superb (which is why I chose it over the nearby K West) but we had immense problems with paying for our parking. The room was also slightly shoddy — things like the door handle to the bathroom being loose, the bed squeaking loudly, the power points being across the other side of the room, a poor TV etc. — and having to use the side entrance of the hotel as the main entrance was broken. These aren't major things, and the price is very reasonable. They're just not the kind of problem I'd expect to experience at the K West, at which I'd pay the same price. The hotel is excellently situated for the city centre and I do recommend it.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Well placed near the tube and some good shopping. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious (for London) so no complaints there. The breakfast was very good, excellent selection and rapid service. Only thing preventing a 5 star rating was issues we had with the parking. The parking payment machine is difficult to use and does not take new notes or coins, making it difficult as you cannot pay by card either.

In some facilities you need a renovation but the bar restaurant is nice, and the location is fantastic. The service is friendly and overall it is comfortable.

The rooms are outdated and with a panorama xe Ptinenge. It doesn't belong to a hotel. That price.

I travelled a lot around the world and nowhere had it taken me so long to serve, nor had I cared so badly! Lousy place, or my worst enemy would recommend it, a beer late in arrives 40 min and that because we asked constantly, the food was delayed, the times between each meal and not say, the waiters moody, inattentive, everything was forgotten, of the worst gastronomic experiences in my life, I do not recommend it!

This Hilton is well located next to Shepard's bush Westfield and the executive lounge was well stocked and comfortable. I was expecting the rooms to be bigger but they were absolutely serviceable. Food was excellent would happily stay another night!

Conveniently located on a quiet-ish road which means almost all rooms are quiet and relaxing. It's very accessible with central line nearby and it's not too far out of central London. The rooms are a decent size (for London) and you'll get all the usual amenities. However, there is nothing special about this hotel. The lobby is small and almost nonexistent — sofas are dated and uncomfortable, cushions sorely need to be replaced, the lighting is in need to improvement to stop the place looking so sad and drab, and generally a very quite entrance — almost like walking into a hotel version of sleepy hollows. This is basically a hotel for airline crew and people who need somewhere to sleep but don't need any social spaces. If that's all you need, a bed to sleep, Hilton Kensington will provide a decent bed and space for your luggage and a desk to do the odd bit of work.

Convenient because close to the subway, located in a central place organized and staff available great breakfast and good rooms recently renovated.

Good location for theatre and near shopping centre and short 10-15min from Hyde & Kensington parks. Best price is via Hilton Honors app. Parking on site £35 per 24hrs. Good gym and nice bar/restaurant with some Indian food options and Vegetarians try the quinoa salad.

The breakfast here is amazing. Make sure you pay extra for it. Anything you can imagine is available. Even cute takeaway coffee cups. I'll return, if not just for breakfast. The bar staff were friendly & rooms were plush!

Had a fantastic stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was perfect with good facilities. We caught the bus from outside the hotel to the Hammersmith Apollo and back without any fuss. Super breakfast and plenty of it. Thanks to all concerned.

Good Hotel ideally located but it starts to age and would need a good renovation. The service is impeccable. The sauna and the hammam are to be avoided because dirty and dilapidated.

Hotel room is very small, but the rooms could be cleaner! I've stayed here more than once. One stay was particularly bad. There was chocolate chips on the floor, hair on the bed and the toilet wasn't the cleanest. Whoever "cleaned" my room before I checked-in did a very poor job. The front desk staff has always been nice and guest services has been prompt. However, they should really monitor their housekeeping staff and make sure that they are cleaning rooms according to their proper procedures.

Husband and I booked a double room only to be given a twin. Reception told us when you book it is only a preference that you request despite our paperwork clearly stating double. Was told they were fully booked so couldn't move us… very disappointing … their Moto on reception says if you have a problem We can make it happen… sadly no they can't. Rooms small but adequate if a bit dated… hotel location good.

What a dump. Don't waste your money. Dated and unclean, noisy and shady people in lobby late at night and early morning… Real bad place…

2 stars as I feel it was like a 2 stars hotel. On arrival the lobby was clean and tidy, staff were friendly and we were looking forward to our break, unfortunately once inside our room it did not live up to a Hilton standard. The floor had a large stain, the bathroom door was rotten at the bottom and the bath plug holder corroded and broken. After a whole day of walking we thought at least we have somewhere to sleep. Next morning neither myself or my partner could move due to our backs from sleeping on what felt like the floor. We had no leaflets to show where to explore while on our stay. We were so disappointed as this was our 1 and only day with no children. The breakfast was amazing, lots of choices and once again staff were lovely.

Dated hotel that's seen better days. Great location but the rooms were small and need to be renovated to maintain appeal. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely room, very clean and modern. Services available at hotel include executive lounge and stylish bar. Food was very nice and a great variety for breakfast. Staff very helpful and attentive.

Very helpful staff. The rooms we stayed in were very tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. Surprising as they were on the executive floor. The executive lounge was good, with a nice breakfast.

Provided and organized. It is well located just minutes from Notting Hill and the central Metro.

One staff member needed better training as wasn't professional in his conduct with us and got agitated when we ordered our drinks. However the other staff member was better and friendly. We had a coffee's in the front restaurant unfortunately there wasn't much selection of fruit juices as only freshly squeezed Orange Juice was available. The coffee was delicious and good quality. Nice and relaxed atmosphere.

Three stars to rate this hotel. Three stars as the number they should have to their ensign. A luxurious hotel, really? If the breakfast was well filled (although the quality of the cheese was rather average), the room & especially the bathroom was not at the level. No ventilation. A bath that could be refurbished. It's not worth the price.

The hotel is clean and very friendly. We couldn't of asked for more from a London hotel for the price. Breakfast is never ending with every taste catered for. We were upgraded as it was our anniversary weekend. All round wonderful hotel.

We had a few nights stay at the Hilton in Kensington. It was just fine. I wasn't floored by the hotel, but I was not disappointed either. The rooms were good for the price. Know that this is nearest to the Shepard's Bush stop on the Central Line in Zone 2 for the Underground and the Overground. It's also fairly close to the Shepard's Bush Market stop and the Holland Park stop (if it was open). You did need to cross quite busy intersections to get to the tube/overground. The rooms are tight, but there is plenty of space for a hotel room (let's be real you're out and about in London anyway, right? If you're not, you should be). The food leaves something to be desired but as the bars/restaurants close quite early for such a large metropolitan city it will do rather than stopping at the KFC or McDonalds.

The location is good. Very close to Westfield shopping centre. The décor is showing signs of wear in all places and could do with a revamp. The staff are polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet is well stock and of a high quality. The beds are comfortable.

Grim! To say the least. That's for the breakfast, I didn't stay at the hotel. £ 15 each for a very basic, full (well, allegedly) English breakfast, half heartedly served in a grim and sole less restaurant area. Very disappointing indeed. Food was barely warm and minimal. Then to add insult to injury, add another £ 3.75 for a coffee each £ 4.00 for tea, plus service charge. I thought this would be a pleasant business breakfast spot but the a local greasy spoon or Giraffe across the road would have been a massive improvement. Yes, hotels are not cheap but you usually get good service and pleasant setting. Neither in this case. Say well away, for food at least.

1) Maintenance: Stayed here umpteen times due to work. Sometimes lights dont work. 2) Housekeeping: Can be improved. I checked in a few times to see only 5 pieces of tissue papers left in the tissue box. 3) New policy? I checked in on 31st march 2016 and realize that the fridge is not working. Called their Guest services and the person told me that ALL the fridges in the whole hotel are not working; and I would have to pay 10 pounds for a fridge to be delivered to me for ONE night, subjected to availability. I wonder if all the fridges can be spoilt at the same time? When everything else is working fine? I have been staying in this hotel many times and they always have an issue with the fridge. And now, this new "policy" sounds really dubious and odd to me, when all the fridges in the hotel are spoilt at the same time. Reluctant to pay 10 pounds 1 night for something that I am supposed to have, my food items are thus, all spoilt. Will not be coming back after this experience.

Great location with good tube and overland rail connections. Business conference rooms left us disappointed with lack of service. No open Wi-Fi internet connection.

Excellent hotel, on arrival was given an upgrade as it was my birthday. Later that night the hotel delivered some chocolate covered strawberries as a birthday day. Amazing staff and amazing service.

Room was too small. Language was a bit of a barrier in some interactions. Wi-Fi was a bit slow. Quality of the in room food was great.

Nice hotel and nice food beds are comfy however the room is a bit small for the money.

Average Hilton. Clean and decently priced. Free Wi-Fi frequently disconnects, maybe honors is better. Breakfast is average, and if you don't have status a trick to figure out at check in. They will give a discount if you agree to it before seeing it 15 vs 20 pounds… convenient but at a price. First morning I was not on the list and had to explain it… just my time I guess. I wish I cared more about Kensington area, but I found myself taking the tube other places. Easy (10min) to walk to Sheppards Bush underground station but on the edge. I will stay somewhere else next time. It was not bad, just average.

I attended HLKH for a Coaching Certification with the Coaching Academy. I found the facilities clean and maintained. The staff were eager to please. The pen and notepad that Hilton supplied for the event were of reliable quality. Also, it was welcoming touch to have a selection of teas and coffee drinks.

Minutes walk away from Westfield shopping centre and Shepards Bush train station. Location is great as you're never far from anything in London. Clean, very reasonable for money. Very fancy feel. Large TV inside. Amazing hotel, will definitely return on future trips to London!

Variety of room sizes. Some are great, some are real tiny. Exec lounge nice, and open till 11pm.

First time I attempted to book with hilton for christmas dinner. Put off as no one able to tell me anything or to take a booking. What happened to HILTON.?! @

I stayed for 5 nights. My overall comment is satisfactory. The room has air-conditioning (I soon found out in my trip that this is a rare commodity for UK hotels except the good ones). But the room is a bit small (only a bit wider than 2 and a half feet between the desk and the bed, and chair is blocking the circulation). Interior is plain. The buffet breakfast and the shuttle van service to Heathrow are good value. In-room Wi-Fi didn't work for me. Concierge and the attendant who helps to carry your luggage from lobby to room is the same person and you can image how long it will take to receive your luggage. The greatest value is its proximity to tube, rail and bus stations and attractions in Kensington. It is also not far from Paddington Station.

Very nice place. Reviews that complain about expensive Wi-Fi are out of date. People who complain about the location, well. Why dId they book this location? Sheesh. Comfortable room, good gym. Nice bar. Friendly staff. Warning: the place is overrun with Yanks.

A tatty hilton with extortionately expensive Wi-Fi. Won't be back again as a business traveller.

My 19year old daughter, stayed there. Plug hanging off wall, dusty, one milk serving. And a not very sympathetic night manager.

My wife booked this wonderful Hotel for a surprise for me. And what a surprise. It was fabulous. From start to finish. We will be back.

I stayed for 3 nights in September 2014. The room was very nice, the front desk friendly and generally a good value for the money. Room larger than most other similarly priced London hotels. Bed was very comfortable. Free Wifi only in the lobby was a bit inconvenient. A good location near Notting Hill, Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush. Nearby is a Westfield Mall with many restaurants. Bus service right outside the door. Taxis seemed to be available most times. Shepherd's Bush tube a short walk away. The lobby bar was okay and open late but drinking in a hotel bar in this city of great pubs is just senseless.

I am on my first night in this hotel. It is not up to Hilton standard. I visit the UK often and decided to give this location a shot. As a Hilton Diamond member I am surprised at the high ratings which promted me to book, so I feel obligated to write a review. The rooms are small, extremely tight where two people cannot comfortably move around. The shower is reminiscent of an RV, plastic bottom and extremely small as well. Our view overlooks a roof and all of the others that are staying. The 27 inch TV is docked to the walls with the wires hanging out with around 20 channels. The bar/lounge area has poor service. Expect to get up multiple times to place an order, check on your order and pick up your food. Pretty pricing for the quality as well, $70 for a pizza and burger. They also don't have to go boxes, so the busser wrapped my plate in plastic wrap. Overall, for the price and location there are better options.

An intruder with a torch came into my room at 3.45am. I called the front desk after chasing him away. There was nothing done to trace this individual who could have posed a serious danger to a single person, especially a women. The management have made no effort to find out what happened. No witnesses have been interviewed, so the threat is still out there. The standard double rooms are dirty, tiny, too hot. The whole hotel reeks of a 1970s shopping mall — stay away.

BAAAAD BAAAD BAAD! Avoid this hotel, we stayed here couple times and both times the services was bad, staff is very rude and not helpful at all. We had an issue with the payment during our stay this time and they said that they have not recieved the total payment, but the credit card has taken all the amount after we had to talk to the bank and appearantly they have taken the amount twice and when we knew that they retained the money without telling us that they were wrong. So we can't blam them. Avoid the lady in the reception she can't talk english well and she is very rude. Mr. Andrew promised us to help us the day after and never showed up after. Not a hilton service at all.
