The owner of this Pub has definitely used this lockdown to turn this Pub into an awesome place where one could just have good music good food and fun.
The decor looks very traditional and chic!.
A great place to have a party or get together with friends and family. You can even book the en-suite rooms upstairs.
Would definitely recommend!

A terrible hotel. The heating did not work for three days out of the week we were. There was no hot water to shower! No one to complain about, no one cares if there are complaints. The main thing is to get money. Stay away from the place!

One of my best nights for a while.
Fantastic local people that give you such a good welcomle. 1am and just got to bed.
Definitely my chosen pub for the next time I am in north London.

Been coming here, off and on since 1977. Needs investment and a few wrong uns barred. Polish barmaid Veronica the best thing about the place.

Great friendly local pub. Polite bar staff. Great security. They occasionally have quiz nights. Quaint garden out back for enjoying the summer weather. The locals are friendly in there and they have a pool table available. Tvs to watch the football matches. All in all a great pub.

I found the premises easy to find. There is Wi-Fi available and a USB socket in the room to power phones etc. The rooms are easy to find and towels are available. Our room number 22 was in the roof and subsequently only half of the room could be stood in. The fridge was placed where you had to stoop to access it but there were milk cartons available to have the cereal if you wanted with coffee available. The bed and pillows were clean, memory foam and firm and we gained a reasonable nights sleep. As previously reported by others, the nightclub attached to the pub played loud music till 2am in the morning. On the negative side there was mould in the kettle, the spoons and cups were dirty. The roller blind had no cord to open it again once pulled down. Overall it is cheap, basic and if a little more attention to cleaning by the housekeepers, I was disappointed with the overall cleanliness but this is easily remedied by the housekeeping team.

Nice room, Great shower, comfy bed, quiet room, enjoyed our stay would use again.

Good pub but needs a lick of paint or two. Garden ok in the summer months even though not always tidy.

I apologise to all staff and customers for a part of a review earlier. I meant to be sarcastic about silly local gossip involving drugs. On reading my piece earlier I can see it did not come over that way. Let me be clear this is is just silly gossip… my inept attempt at humour backfired… so egg on my face. Was abit noisey but room was ok.

The Fountain is a nice enough pub. Very quiet during the day, I go sometimes cos some old friend's go.

Great japanese food with affordable prices. Almost luxury bathrooms and huge garden with fountain but inside a bit smelly and always sticky tables. Staff could do bit more of a cleaning.

I would give it six stars if it had been possible. Great location in the heart of Seven Sisters, and just around the corner from my house, great value for money when it comes to both drinks and Japanese food (try the sushi cones and you can cancel that Tokyo trip you've been saving to for years). The Fountain is always showing the sports you want to see, with a bunch of regulars from different backgrounds always there to discuss football and cheer for their teams with the right spirit, knowledge and humour. And I haven't even mentioned the beer garden with the iconic fountain at the back, perfect for warm summer afternoons – or the weekend club nights. If I ever get married, this might be where I'd have the afterparty. Because – and this is perhaps the most import feature – at The Fountain there is always space.

Great clean modern rooms nice an suite and friendly atmosphere in bar down stairs. Perfect and handy for seven sisters tube link. Colourful multicultural vibrant area.

I would like to give The Fountain 0 stars but it won't allow me, so 1 star will have to do. Their website isn't great and I was booking a 1 night stay for my dad to visit me from Derbyshire who I hadn't seen in a long time. I had to click on my selected date of arrival multiple times as it kept automatically choosing my arrival date as the same day I was booking. I was finally able to select the correct date and I paid £59. When my dad arrived at the hotel he found out that he couldn't check in because the website had actually booked the wrong date. Instead of showing compassion and understanding they refused my dad a place to stay if he didn't pay an extra £79. We tried to be negotiable and asked if we could pay the difference but they wouldn't accommodate us. Both the owners were rude and don't seem to know what customer service is. I would also like to add that the prices they're charging are outrageous for the location and the pub desperately needs some refurbishment. It's safe to say that the whole dilemma caused stress and disappointment upon my dads arrival. I would not recommend.

Nice rooms friendly people in the bar bit noisy on a Friday and Saturday but apart from that it was really good.

Clean, reasonably priced, basic accommodation in a traditional pub. Good facilities, only drawback is the road outside and generally the location, which is noisy and run down. Otherwise, recommended.

Just a nice base for an overnighter in London, clean, modern room with nice soft toilet paper! It's the little things! Friendly staff and reasonably priced.

We have a great time at the fountain hotel. Very good location. At night quiet and the busses and underground very nearby. Nice and kind people. Definitely a place to come back.

The surrounding neighborhood is a little rough, but the rooms at the fountain were nicer than expected. Due to the use of wood and tile in the common areas, the halls are a little loud/echoey. The rooms do not have AC, but they do have windows that open and allow a breeze. The location is convenient to the Seven Sisters Underground station. The Fountain pub is a standard bar serving Japanese food. Watch out for the local pool shark. He can be pushy.

Small and comfortable room. Very neat and freshly renovated. Strange reception, you ask for the key in the bar. Between the buts, a lot of noise.

Stayed here for a week last week and had a great experience. Although I admit that when my friend and I arrived and saw the outside, we were worried. But once we got inside and were greeted by the staff, we knew we had made the right choice. The room, while small, had all the necessities and was quite comfy. The housekeeping girl was very friendly and the pub downstairs was just what we were looking for. We would have a drink every night when we got back. I would definitely stay there again. Not to mention that the restaurants and markets down the street are lovely and handy, we tried many of them and visited the market every night to buy things. I strongly recommend this place, it reminds you to never judge a book by its cover.

This place is absolutely amazing. Stayed there last night. To be honest the look from the outside was worrying but when we got in all the staff were amazing and the room was perfect such a comfortable bed. Everyone in the pub was really friendly too. I hope I can go back soon.

I've stayed here a number of times and have always found the accommodation excellent very welcoming and helpful staff. The local clientele are also welcoming to, I have spent many nice evenings in the fountain bar chatting and playing pool they have a lovely Japanese menu too if you like Japanese food.
