My husband and I loved the staff at this place! We checked in last Friday which happened to be my husband's birthday. I had arranged a little surprise for him with the help of the concierge services team (Luke and Nicky) and they were extremely helpful. Luke went out of his way to inform other staff members that it was my husbands birthday so we felt really cared for and welcomed in every way. They even picked up a cake I ordered for my husband from a bakery and made sure it was there when we entered the room! Cannot thank them enough!

Fancy. Good for a sly breakfast meeting. Decent screening room too. Worth a jaunt.

Amazing hotel in the best neighborhood in London. Close to theater, Royal Opera, British Museum. Exquisitely decorated from the pillows, drapes, pencils, picture and art frames thanks to the brilliant Kit Kemp. A cacophony of good taste.

The hotel was a good host for the conference, but the nibbles they provided were a little strange and no one touched them, so that was a bit of a waste.

A first date here a long time ago led to wonderful things. Tonight, spontaneously I popped in again since Mon Plaisir over the road had stopped serving. I sat at the same table. To brass tacks: we only had a main and side dish each, and a glass of wine each — total whack £90. The average price for starters is about £15. £24 for mains. Sides come in around £6. So it's gotten a lot more expensive to eat here. If memory serves, the film club night is much better value (film + 2 course meal for around £40 pp). That said, the kitchen serves up delicious, moreish food, and the service was attentive. It's a pleasant space too.

Came for an early dinner: food was great, the menu is a bit heavy on fish-things, but there are also steaks and vegetarian options (which we had and were super! ) ambiente very nice. Table very nice. I thought the value was good too.

I attended for a screening and afternoon tea. The hotel was easy to find and in a good central location. Staff were very courteous and helpful. The screening room was a great size with comfortable chairs and a good view of the screen from all seats. There was easy access to toilet facilities, which were very clean and well-maintained. Finally, the afternoon tea was delicious and I was happy to note that all the food seemed very fresh, with the sandwiches having no hint of staleness (which is too often the case with group afternoon teas). There was a decent selection of teas and the food was well laid out. Overall, a great experience.

Behind a late-1800s red-brick façade lies the Covent Garden Hotel. The place, part of the acclaimed group Firmdale Hotels, is a fusion of traditional British and contemporary design. Ideally located on Monmouth Street, one of the best shopping streets in Covent Garden, the hotel is in the heart of the theatre district and is just a short walk to the Royal Opera House. If you don't feel like walking around you can always catch a movie at the hotel’s exclusive private cinema or just grab a bite at stylish Brasserie Max.

Absolutely lovely hidden away five star hotel. Amazing service and after planning a event here can say everything went beautifully​.

A nice place to take a walk and see street performances. The entire neighborhood is very much alive.

Recomanded on sunday — street theatre and local shows. There is also lots antiques merchants. Inside you will find a small concert playing or just be able to eat great food in one of the local cafe or bars. Store s are a bit over priced but the venue is worth it.

Word of warning — take the lifts instead of the stairs unless you are looking for cardio exercise.

This station can get overcrowded most of the time. The lifts are always in use and the stairs are 192 steps (about 15 flight of stairs). If you're planning to use this station, I suggest you go to Leicester Square station, which is a 10-minute walk.

Long wait for lifts, 192 steps of stairs This just about sums up this tiny station. There is barely any space for you to squeeze into the entrance hall, the exit part is just as tiny. There are no escalators here, it's too tiny! You reach the platforms only by lifts and if you dare, the stairs. Handily located next to the touristy area and shopping and tons of food and drink places as well as theatres, you will never be bored here. Picadilly line available to take you anywhere, but if you hate crowds, do get off at Leicester Square instead and walk. It really is not that far, 5 min if you're a brisk walker.

Lifts to the platform. Can be a long queue to get down, may be faster to walk to Leicester Square and get on there. If you're going to Leicester Square anyway don't even bother taking the tube as it's a very short train trip and it's faster to walk.

If you're claustrophobic then this station might not be for you. It is densely packed and frequently closed due to overcrowding. Not only that, getting in or out involves being cattle herded into an elevator so not one for those who like personal space. If you're particularly fit (or foolish) have a go on the stairs!
