Hotel

This isn't our first stay in the Conrad hotel chain, and London St. James was a bit different than others. Conveniently located close to Westminster Abbey, I was happy with the close proximity to food, drinks, and pharmacy. We being Hilton Gold members had breakfast included, and I must say they serve the best breakfast buffet in London! Friendly service and abundant of fresh fruits made me happy! The room was a bit noisy since we stayed in a street view room, but shower was comfortable with strong pressure and steady hot water. During one night we had a minor issue with housekeeping, but the night manager did her best to compensate me and the relationship manager also gave us his apologies in person. All in all I would choose to stay in this hotel the next time I am in London.

We are very pleased with this hotel. Superior service. Everybody is very nice and polite. The lounge access is a value for money good selection of alcohol and food. I loved the rose bud tea and their Merlot was delicious! The cleanness was perfect and the super clean smell of the towels and the bed sheets gave that extra comfort feeling! Well done! Perfect management!

This place is a gem! Rooms — The beds were very comfortable, super clean, and the shower was amazing! They have built in adapters in the rooms for outlets and everything was automated. Food — We had the breakfast in the mornings and it’s so worth it. It was delicious! We also did took advantage of their tea time and it, too, was so good! Staff — The best part of our stay was the staff. They were all warm, welcoming, and kind. We didn’t want/worry for anything while we were there. If making a return trip to London I will definitely be back here!

Excellent food and attentive service. Would recommend their steaks. Wine list is extensive and the waiting staff will help you pair with your chosen dish. We went for a corporate lunch at the end of the week and it wasn't busy — if you're looking for a bustling atmosphere it's not quite the ticket. Very refined however.

This awesome car was parked outside of the Conrad. The Conrad in wondering is exactly what you would expect from a Conrad Hotel period excellent professional staff with the knowledge of the area. A clean comfortable and classy room. Nice showers and beds. A decent restaurant on premise and answers to any and all questions. The Conrad is a safe choice for a traveller who has the resources to pay for a room and wants predictability.

Great hotel. Lovely rooms. Very nice executive lounge. Surprisingly nice restaurant and bar.

Smart modern decor and a great location to get around London from. It's directly opposite one of the exits from St James Park tube station, so it's little more than a 15 minute journey from Euston/Kings Cross, and minutes from Victoria and Waterloo. There's plenty that's easily walkable (Westminster, Buckingham Palace etc. ) and many of the main sights and key business areas are quickly accessible via the tube.

Our experience at the Conrad London St James was just lovely. The room was amazingly beautiful and we were given a free upgrade to a deluxe room. There were good free amenities for Hilton Honorary Silver members including free newspapers and free beer at the bar. There were loads of things provided in the room such as shaving kits, creams and lotions. They very nicely accompanied the marble bathroom.

This a great place to stay with central location from all the attractions. Staff here is great and make you feel welcome ski the time. I had given a 3 star about yr ago but they made it up this time by being extremely flexible and amazingly great with me and my family. I am changing my rating to a full 5 stars! The Executive Lounge is awesome and so is the resturant. Breakfast is out of the world and dinner is pretty good too!

I really enjoyed the executive lounge, and found the service there above reproach. Check-out was a breeze, and the hotel's location is ideal. However, there are some areas of this hotel that could be improved. As a Diamond member, I've spent over 140 nights in Hilton hotels during the past two years, and the check-in for this hotel was one of the most unpleasant in recent memory. I had been communicating with Guest Relations prior to my check-in. The morning of my check-in, Alfonso, from Guest Relations, had told me there were several King Deluxe rooms available, and I responded requesting to be upgraded to one. However, my partner, who checked in four hours before my arrival, was not provided one of these upgraded rooms. When I arrived and requested an upgrade, Chloe, who checked me in, explained the policy of upgraded rooms (which I was already aware of), instead of apologizing for the confusion. This confusion would have been understood, even forgiven, should the room we did have been in better condition. Specifically, there was a large stain on the carpet near the beverage area, which is somewhat disgusting since that's what you see when entering the room. Further, the stopper in the bathroom sink is broken.

Lovely decor but the rooms are quite small. Gym has limited machines but cold towels, water, and fresh fruit are nice. The restaurant has great breakfast. The location is clutch since it's located near many major attractions.

Excellent Hotel: Clean, friendly staff and with excellent knowledge of the Italian breakfast sublime both salty and sweet near the subway practically just cross the street, and very central a few hundred yards from Bachinam Palace, Big Ben Westminstere the seat of Parliament: advisable.

Amazing hotel. Spent our first wedding anniversary in London and chose this hotel based on its great location but we were so pleasantly surprised how they treated us when they found out it was our 1 year Anniversary. Really, the hotel exceeded our expectations and surpassed the standard of customer service. A very short (30 seconds? ) walk to the tube and also within walking distance to London’s many great areas. Will be staying here again on a return trip. Highly recommended.

Great hotel location and staff. Room 153 was right over their loading dock so each morning at 0530 they dumped their glass bottles into something. On the last night from 10 pm to 230 am they unloaded the new gym equipment. They talked and dropped stuff the entire time. For the kind of money you spend it should be quiet enough to sleep.

Wish I could give it a 5 star because it really well deserves it! But my check in was like an interrogation than a check in. My bookings are done via a third party who make sure everything is ready upon arrival. The check in agent was asking for ID credit card etc which is something I NEVER PRODUCE EVER! I had to tell her to check billing instructions, imagine a 5 star hotel I'm telling the agent how to check me in? Add insult to injury I was promised an upgrade and access to the lounge which wasn't delivered?! Anyhow the hotel is wonderful, room top notch, boy the bed comfy. Food room service wasn't too impressed as the steak was a 8oz or less but good cut. Can't fault it hence why it's really hard for me to give it a 3 star but really first impressions is the best impression. As a business traveller convinience matters way more than anything else so getting to my hotel and checking in smoothly is key.

Redeemed a reward night here recently. Only room available was accessible room, staff informed nothing else available. Paid small fee to upgrade to higher class, happy with room (except leaky iron), in room dining excellent and staff very professional. Late check out was requested but disappointingly not available. Very good but not perfect.

Lovely hotel walking distance to a lot of the main tourist sights in London and close to good transport links. The staff took very good care of us. If you do stay here, I recommend taking advantage of their afternoon tea — there are few better in London.

A luxury hotel at reasonable prices if you shop around holiday sites. Very clean and tidy. Staff very helpful and friendly and the service is excellent. Blue Boar Bar attached has very nice food at reasonable cost. I'd highly recommend.

This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location. Weather permitting, you are a short walk from St. James Park and Buckingham Palace. There's a Tube station across the street. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The bathroom looks lovely, but had issues. The shower leaked and the electrical socket didn't work. We reported it but they weren't fixed. The fitness center is poorly equipped. The executive lounge is very nice.

I just wished to say a huge Thank you for looking after us so well on Sunday 10th July at Afternoon tea. As always, the service and food was sublime and the requests for dairy free a day gluten free teas were met without any hassle. The Candy shop themed teas were delicious and very fitting for a group of ladies. Our servers kept our flutes, tea pots and tummies consistently full! Helen had a wonderful start to her Bride to Be celebrations and I can't thank you enough.

Not exactly a room with a view on the second floor and we got to hear the garbage pickup at 4 am in the morning. The staff was great and extremely polite and helpful. Next time I hope we get a room on a higher floor.

Nice hotel BUT don't use the valet parking! I paid £60 to get my m3 parked in what I thought would be the hotels car park! When I got the car back the next day I found a few scratches on it. I know they wasn't there before as Iv just had the whole car sprayed and this was the 1st time since then the car had been out. I told the hotel manager and he said he would look into it for me! But it must of been done here as they do a check on the car for any imperfections before they drive it and nothing had been circled on the card! (Like I said the car was mint after a full respray) After a week I got a phone call to say they had checked the Cctv in the NCP car park and they don't think it was done there, so they are not going to pay for it! I was very disappointed as I hadn't been told that the car would be valet parked in an NCP car park for £60! I wouldn't park my pride and joy in an NCP.

Fantastic stay! Centrally located nearby many attractions with walking distance (London eye, Big Ben, etc…) wonderful service. Blue Boar Restaurant has great cocktails and food.

Amazing hotel. Very quiet and well insulated rooms. Very fast premium internet available at additional cost with 50 mbps speeds. Pret is just round the corner too if you want to go out for breakfast.

Room was amazing, stayed on the second floor. Although no view to speak of, there was absolutely no noise during the staurday night we stayed. Would reccommend this hotel to anyone and everyone who will listen.

We stayed here for one night not long ago. I wish we could stay longer. Hotel room was very nice. Our living room has a King-size bed, and it is very comfortable. Is invisible to view from our room. Subway is nearby! But the robes in the room need to use fabric softener soak cleaning will be more comfortable.

If good location is of some dispute, as of Trafalgar Square will be a better place. This hotel is located in a very quiet place, next to the Metro station is just around, and all the main attractions are close by, as long as 30 minutes walking or subway. Hotel is luxury, rooms are very nice, they have a club, offers a lot of delicious food, where you can eat breakfast, and free drinks in the evening and a good drink.

Had afternoon tea on Valentine's Day. Very expensive but it was an excellent experience. Delicious food and plenty of it, good it not hugely expansive tea selection. Very friendly service as well. Definitely a worthwhile experience.

It's no exaggeration to say, here, in, every second that I enjoy. Admission to the residence the warm hospitality of the front Desk, please, professional, room key already ready. Daily room cleaning and turndown detailed thoughtful, and finally one night in bed, paved with heart-shaped red petals. Breakfast is not self-help or single-point has a good quality, the waiter even remember what you eat. Every single detail is not ignored, is impressive. Totally makes me the Hilton group Loyalty and a. Location was quite pleasant, to a distance of some attractions only on foot can be reached. Overall the hardware is very New, the design is also modern atmosphere. If said wrong, about is free Internet is a little slow.

Well equipped rooms with nice design, staff aren't as helpful nor welcoming as in other 5* hotels in London. Rate was a bit pricy.

Simply put, the best stay I've had in a hotel for a long time. The location couldn't be better, footsteps away from St. James Park and tube station, whatever your reason I couldn't recommend this place more. The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout the whole stay. The room itself was pure luxury. The decoration and comfort level was great, I don't think I've felt more comfortable sheets. The room size was generous for London, with ample AV options even for me.

I loved every minute of my stay here and didn't want to leave. Yes, the rooms are nice (as you would expect) but it was the service that really made it for me: No request too small. The staff are an absolute credit to this hotel. Located centrally and with considered interiors, this place exudes luxury. I also had afternoon tea here which was a great experience, worth the visit on its own. Oh, and breakfast was straight-up awesome too. I cannot fault my stay here, and would love to return. This is a case of getting what you pay for: And it's worth every penny.

Good location, comfortable rooms and attentive staff. One day on my way out I asked an employee how I could get to Heathrow Airport by train when I departed the next day. She tried to explain but I had to leave for my appointment so I had to cut her short. That evening upon returning to my room I found the following note under my door, along with a London train map: "Dr. Sir, In order to go to Heathrow Airport you just have to go to the St. James Park Station (across the street) and change to the Picadilly (blue) Line at South Kensington Station. I came for a business meeting and the staff were so polite and delightful. They take great pride in their jobs. The hotel is stunning too. Great location.

My friend treated me to an afternoon tea / champagne here, the whole experience was fantastic from the moment we arrived at the hotel. The staff, service and the food were second to none. Definitely going back and recommending them for sure.

Walking distance to many attractions and right next to the tube station. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Staff was helpful and courteous. Did not try the food. Highly recommended.

Worse five stars not seen. A couple of times about 3-0000 vrubalas′ night fire alarms and worked for about five minutes, Trouble essno was false apologies as you already guessed for those incidents. The remaining negative impressions will no longer impressive compared with those already written.

Great staff, etc, etc. Why do they even poll me? Its an Intercontintial in the heart of a major city. Any seasoned traveler knows that it will be fine, or it wouldn't rate 5 stars. Why the need for me to state the obvious; it's like rating the finest aircraft carrier in the world or asking my opinion about cancer: well the Nimitz class carriers don't have any credible contenders so I will say: the Nimitz. And my opinion on breast cancer would be that it is a bad thing. My stay was fine, I expect all of my stays to be so or wouldn't have stayed at them 100's of nights. Now here is the rub: I pay handsomely for this service so the purpose of this survey strikes me as a gamble: anything less than a top grade would be failure. Somehow they know exactly what is important to me before I arrived and I wasn't even supposed to be at IC Westminster, London. I wasn't annoyed at them, but the reservationist for elite status LOL members had assured me I was booked to be at IC Park Mayfair London. I stated my disappointment after informed that it was full and they tried to see what else they could do: I said I need to stay at IC Paris one day longer than planned and comp me that night. No, they cannot comp a nite at any sister hotels which I understand.

Terrific location just blocks from Big Ben and the London Eye. Hotels just don't get any better than this, with amenity after amenity like free bottled water and newspapers. The hotel is posh and grand, the rooms are spacious and stylish. I'm guessing the amazing hi-tech TV and lighting system will be available in my neighborhood around the time chickens colonize Mars.

My friend and I stayed here on Saturday 23rd November 2013 and couldn't believe how fantastic the location was. The stafff were very friendly and very helpful and the hotel is stunning and modern. Can not recommend this hotel enough. I can't wait to go back.
