Is it really 4 Stars Hotel. I doubt it!. And it is not cheep What are the BAD things; . Not all the room linked to the elevator. I had to carry all my bags one floor higher on a steep narrow stares! . The bath room drain is blocked and smell sticks. The stand shower flood in no time. I just can't have shower here. It is disgusting. . Cold management who does nothing. Even can't apologies for the bad service thy have. . Poor Wi-Fi Let's talk about the good thing; Big room and comfortable beds So the only option I have is to go to a real hotel. And again the cold management here to refund the remaining nights.
Posted last week but on the page of the other Comfort Inn at King’s Cross: We just had the most expensive yet worst night of our 5 week holiday. Yes, I understand that London (and Paris where I am now) is much warmer than usual but don’t advertise air conditioning if it doesn’t work! Maybe we were just really unlucky with the “suite” we were given but seems others have experienced the same problem. We were in a two room family “suite” that was tiny even by Tokyo standards but I could put up with that given the proximity to Kings Cross/St Pancras if it wasn’t hotter than a Russian Sauna. The poor staff tried their best to help and seemed to know it was completely unacceptable. I was given the card for the GM who I emailed but she is on holidays for another week. Apparently no one else is authorised to make a decision about refunds?! How you can run a hotel in peak season with no one around to make decisions is beyond me. The 1 split system aircon unit in our suite emitted tepid air and even if it was working properly had barely the strength to cool my daughter’s barbie camper van. The fridge in the room also didn’t work just for the icing on the cake. My wife and two young kids finally passed out with heat exhaustion around midnight but poor old Dad couldn’t sleep until about 3. Worst night I have had in a “Hotel” and I have stayed in some real dives when I was younger.
