I have worked here in 1996. Philipp Britten was Head Chef and it is where I fave met my husband who was apprentice in the kitchen. Mr & Mrs Levin were guest oriented but never forgot their employees wellbeing… Beautiful establishment.

We had the afternoon tea and in the past it was quite good. However, this time it wasn’t. While the tea and the waitstaff were beyond reproach, the food was well below a standard you’d expect in such a quality restaurant. The scones: heavy (mine are better), sponge was more like a cake, and carrot cake lacked flavour.

We had a 7 night stay on our first trip to London from Australia in mid April 2019. Highly recommend staying here. All staff were awesome especially Graeme one of the concierges. Nothing was to much trouble, He was always happy and helpful and went above and beyond. The breakfast was great every morning. The room was serviced daily to a very high standard. It was walking distance to everything we needed. The hotel was just beautiful. Keep up the awesome work that you all do. Lisa and Joe Neely New South Wales, Australia.

I did not stay here, but came for the tea! We really enjoyed the tea and the value was amazing! We did the tea and prosecco set and it was great! The service was great, and the selection was amazing! They had a cute Wimbledon theme when we were there! We really enjoyed our visit here!

Hotel is so good welcoming the staff so attentive and helpful the bar cosy the drinks so varied and the restaurant and menu again so good — can't fault the capital definitely go again well done.

Was only here for the afternoon tea but it was amazing. The first round of tea took a while but they extended the booking so it was fine.

This is a hidden gem just around the corner from Harrods. The food, drinks and service are all great but not at rip off prices. You will struggle to do better in Knightsbridge.

The male staff at the lobby was very helpful and friendly. He did his best to give us an early check-in, helped with our luggage’s under the rain. We could feel his hospitality. The hotel is very nice and the rooms are not small. The district is convenient that we could get to the metro or bus in 3 minutes.

Ate at Nathan Outlaws restaurant. Very friendly and helpful service. Great food. A fantastic evening.

Over-rated. Had had a more varied range of goodies for English afternoon tea. A little disappointing.

Amazing boutique hotel in an excellent location. Modern rooms with lots of space. Lots of special touches such as bath salts and pastries in the reception for breakfast which really helped us unwind and relax and enjoy our stay. 2 minute walk to knightsbridge tube station on the piccadilly line.

Offer cocktails straight away, started with Bellinis then went on to the Cosmos. Wide selection of teas. Food began with sandwiches which were very nice, and cheese scones which were absolutely delicious! We were offered seconds which we gladly accepted! Sweets were very nice too and the plain/mixed scones were very yummy! We were offered cocktails and tea top ups regularly, staff were very attentive, we didn’t feel rushed at all, would definitely recommend!

I loved the hotel, I’ve stayed 11 days It’s been wonderful place Tried there penthouse it’s the best Also the locations is really spacial Prices are good also Recommend it Ajayan.

Great small boutique hotel at a prime shopping area.

Went to the restaurant for lunch during the week. I can’t fault the food. It wasn’t spectacular but certainly was executed perfectly. The only reason my rating isn’t higher is because there was absolutely no atmosphere. There wasn’t even any music playing which was exacerbated by the fact that there were so few people there.

Excellent stay, seriously good hosting skills despite an event out side the staffs control! Really would recommend and can not wait to stay here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A fantastic hotel in the heart of London. From the welcome at the door to the great team in every department of the hotel, this is a "must visit" destination property. Outstanding Service and a Concierge Team better than ANY hotel ANYWHERE in the world! I would NEVER stay in any other property in London… Kate and the team at the Capital are outstanding in every way. My family extends a very Happy New Year to everyone there. I only nipped in for a bit of lunch and a few drinks but was amazed by the service of all of the staff, they couldn't do enough for me. The bar area was pretty busy but had a nice atmosphere. I will definitely be visiting again.

Had afternoon tea. The selection of sandwiches and pastries is excellent. The location isn't as "grand" as some other hotels, as the area you have the tea is small. Very tasty food and good service.

The Capital hotel was a small and quaint hotel. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The first room we were given was extremely small and when we complained, we were moved to a larger, more comfortable, room the next day. The downsides of this hotel were that the room seemed to always be hot and the very noisy air conditioning needed to be on almost constantly. The bathroom has a heated towel rack that is always on. This makes the tiny bathroom feel like a sauna. When one sits on the toilet, you have to be careful to not touch the towel bar with your leg as it is hot. We asked the hotel staff to please turn the towel bar off and we were informed that it could not be turned off. I am a senior person who is in very good physical condition. Even so, getting in and out of the very high tub was difficult and dangerous. A person has to hold on to the safety bar in the tub as well as the bathroom door just to step out of the tub. This and the constantly hot towel bars are very bad designs. Lastly, when one steps out into the hall, the temperature in the hall is also constantly hot. I would not stay in this hotel again.

Worst experience to date at a restaurant. We are from America and only holiday to London once a year. We've had many delicious meals in London but sadly this wasn't one of them.
To start, the ambiance doesn't exist. It's so quiet you can hear everyone's conversations.
We ordered the three course and got lamb and scotch egg for apps, fish for mains, and some type of mousse for dessert along with a tart.
Scotch egg and lamb were so salty we couldn't get enough water but we tried to remain positive about the rest of the meal. Mains came out and I cut into my fish and it was noticeably raw in the middle (gooey, cold, stringy) so I called the waiter over and he took it back promising the plate back in 5 mins.
10 mins later my food comes back and I cut into it and it's raw again. I call back the gentleman (different person than the waiter) and say it is raw still, so he tells me that it isn't raw, that it was cooked "longer" than it should've been and that I was wrong. So that was upsetting. I told him that it was definitely raw but whatever he thought. So I picked at my fish and what wasn't raw on the plate I tried and it was extremely salty and so was my husbands plate. The same rude guy comes to take my plate and sighs before saying "can I get you something else" very half-heartedly. So of course I am done and said no.
Had desserts to get somewhat of our money's worth of the meal and leave.
terrible. And expensive. Sorry to have eaten here.

Located just a stone throw away from Harrods, Knightsbridge tube station, high streets & various eateries.

We went to the bar for a whiskey tasting. I'm usually very casual, and would never drink at such a bar. It was a very informative and enjoyable event. The bartender was very knowledgeable about whiskeys and we got the whole story about how they're made.

Went for afternoon tea with Pimm's. Small intimate tearoom with attentive service. Offered additional sandwiches.

We originally booked the Capital hotel next door but the room offered was far from what we expected of a 5 star hotel. On moving to the Kevin, everything was perfect. The staff were very professional and extremely helpful. They made our stay a joy and we will definitely stay here when we return to london.

Our favourite hotel in the world! Beautiful rooms, tastefully decorated with great bathrooms often 2 in a suite. The best beds and pillows you could wish for, close to Harrods and other shopping opportunities, a nice walk to Hyde Park and a myriad of very good restaurants. The bar at the Capital is very good too. The staff here are more like a family who go that extra mile to ensure that your stay is perfect. Can't recommend it enough.

Very well located just a few yards from Harrods. This is an excellent hotel with friendly personal service. Nice room though the air conditioning was a little noisy overnight. Excellent restaurant with delicious fish tasting menu.

Located near Harrods this welcoming hotel continues its long tradition of warm efficient service to guests in its well appointed rooms. The bar is a particular favourite of guests ans local alike.

Went yesterday (20th May 2017) for a friends birthday and have to say we were very disappointed. There were five ladies looking forward to a catch up, a giggle and a natter. The room was very small and within 15mins of being there the waiter came over and told us we were to noisy and he couldn't concentrate on describing the sandwiches to another table! No one had complained — we checked with the other customers in the room when he left and they disagreed we were being noisy. They were all in as much shock us! It meant for the remainder of the lunch we felt very uncomfortable and downbeat. They then had the audacity to try and add an £18 service charge on our bill which my friend rightly told them to remove! The cocktails were ok but very very watered down. On the whole only go if you don't want to have fun and just want to sit quietly!

We went to The Metro, the restaurant owned by The Levin just downstairs from the hotel. The experience was fantastic. We came for happy hour and received 2 glasses of wine and a small plate of nachos for 8 pounds. Afterwards we ordered food (goat cheese salad, crab linguine, and sirloin) which was delicious. Though I have to say the best part of our experience was our server, Kamil. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and feel welcome (he even gave us chargers for our phones). I would highly recommend The Metro for anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Fantastic babysitter, incredible staff, perfect location. The elegant bar in the Capital next door offers a connoisseur's selection of sought after spirits, cocktails and oysters too. These two sister hotels provided us with the heartfelt comfort and warmth of home. We did not witness a single crack — the doorman was charming, as were the reception staff, the breakfast team and the lady that cared for our room. Faultless.

We loved this gem of a boutique hotel and the people there and very much look forward to our return.

Incredible location with fabulous staff! Best long pillows as well. Bottles of water for guests as they leave and great concierge. Really fabulous to have a drink before going out. They have great aperols in huge glasses. Great for any type of guest, have stayed here numerous times and will continue to.

We stayed one night, we feel that the staff and hotel was great. The room was very clean, comfortable, Metro restaurant offers very good food. We strongly recommend, of course, hope to come again soon. Say hello to Mike and Jack-Southend.

Absolutely love this hotel, a discreet, elegant and classic hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge. The restaurant is amazing and offers a great value set lunch menu, and the Sitting Room is a perfect place to relax for Afternoon Tea post shopping! They also have a lovely little bar. Cannot recommend highly enough, my favourite hotel in London.

We headed there for the set lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the soup with was one of their signature dishes. The mains were sizeable, especially for fish and we took great delight in polishing it off. Desert was pleasant though not quite so unique. Sign up for the Grub Club membership for 10% off and we visited on Thursday when you can BYO wine.

This is definitely the WORST hotel I have been to. The rooms are annoyingly small, the furniture is extremely old (not in a nice classical way) and the bathrooms are just sad.

The hotel is modern and up-to-date, very classy and elegant, with a fabulous bar and restaurant. The quality of the rooms was really good and worth for the price. I really love the foods. Very decent and good to taste. Every portion is just enough to feed your craving.

Book a hotel in london but do it online I you do not want to have to face last minute outraging price for a budget hotel in LONDON's center. They offer more than 600 hotels in london's center. A nice place to book a hotel. I think they also ofer vacation rentals.
