Perfect hotel, great location. Made very welcome on arrival. Rooms are immaculately presented. Breakfast included which was also very good. Highly recommend.

Nice welcome from receptionist & room for 3 clean. Although bathroom quite right. Breakfast good food however time of breakfast was between 6.30 to 8.30. Dining room not big enough to take all guests who descended at 8.10 & had to queue. Was told by female member of staff that they only had so many minutes to order & eat there breakfast as her shift finished at 8.30am! She was very loud & aggressive which you don't need first thing in morning! As a guest complained the owner of the hotel got involved & explained the situation & 2nd morning was far more relaxing.

Spent the weekend here and was lovely, friendly staff, good breakfast, tidy fresh rooms.

Unfortunately our annual vacation is ruined by this hotel. The hotel is full of fleas that stang us and made us itchy and upset. Pictures are attached. As this is a serious issue we asked the manager to take care of it but they don't want to do so. It's too expensive to do it. In addition, you hear everything that happens the next door. I don't mention that the room's size as it is it normal in London to get a tiny one. AVOID this place! BTW, They've demanded the money when we've just arrvied (1 AM). Later we've grasped that they do it as they don't want anyone to checkout early. We feel as we've duped.

The location is ideal for Hyde Park, museums, Paddington Station and the underground which will get you to most of the centre inside half an hour. Service was delightful, really went out of their way to make it a great stay. Room was cosy but had everything you could need and was clean and well-kept. Considering the price (being in London) you really couldn't ask for better value. Breakfast was straight-forward but very nice and the morning service there was wonderful too. It's not the Ritz, but if you're looking for a comfortable, good quality, excellent service, convenient and fantastic value-for-money hotel, look no further.

Nice hotel in a good neighbourhoud in Paddington. The hotel is just a few minutes walking from the main train and metro station. The hotel is fairly clean and the rooms are nice. It needs a bit of care though and the cleaning could be more careful. Good prices. The breakfast area is very small.

Nice hotel, good location with plenty of eating places, pubs nearby. The staff very welcoming, room, bathroom a bit small, but very clean and comfortable. One problem for people with any mobility issue … it is a long climb to the upper rooms; maybe good exercise, but tiring.

Good location close to the park. Rooms were really hot and could not be cooled down with the fan in the room. Nice with complimentary breakfast, but the quality was not too good. Fine for one night though.

Clean rooms, helpful people but no lifts so try to make sure you get rooms on lower floors. I received room on the attic floor that's not only difficult to get up to it was also difficult to get down from.

Found bed bugs in my room! Wouldn't stay here again even if I was paid. Hotel didn't care and dismissed the claims.

Well connected, good cleanliness, good treatment. I don't like the carpeted in the rooms. And the furniture is not in very good condition. Perfect heating. The receptionist speaks perfect Spanish. The right buffet.

Exponentially clean room! Can't fault this place at all… older lady on reception was really helpful and breakfast was lovely! Stayed in London lots and this hotel has been the best value for money! Defo be returning.

Stayed there in Aug 12 to 20th. Very comfortable and clean great breakfast and great location. Linens and bathrooms are very clean. The reception is most friendly. Shall definitely stay there in next London visit.

A very nice hotel with a little quirk. The room here was very comfortable if a little on the small size. The hotel has a sister hotel across the road which is where you have to go for breakfast. Breakfast consists of full English, croissant, cereal, fruit, toast and jam or marmalade and tea and coffee as you like. It is not a buffet. I had no complaints about the food. The breakfast room is a little small (it seats 24 people) for the size of the two hotels (about 38 rooms) given that breakfast is included.

Bed bugs! Myself and my friends went to stay here for the weekend and there were bed bugs. We found them in each bed in our room and upon further inspection we found some in our other friends room. Although some rooms are clean I wouldn’t take chances. Got some money back though.

The staff were mostly friendly but one of the catering staff was horrible. The breakfast was not good and the room was just small. Considering the price however, it's ok.

A 'no no hotel' to stay in. The worst we ever had. Full of bed bugs and we are is still on treatment due to the infestation. When reported to owner, she seemed to be in denial about the fact and not very helpful to deal with the issue. Just a piece advice to anyone looking for a place in London, don't choose this hotel.

Bed Bugs. I do not recommend staying here until they tent the place. My first room was infested with bed bugs. To remedy this they just put us in another room across the street no compensation offered. They do not know how bedbugs work, moving us without offering us access to laundry facilities, it's likely we brought bedbugs from the first room to the second. Low rating due to inexperienced management, no compensation, and bedbugs. Pros: Wi-Fi access was good, room size was good and the front desk manager was nice. Would rate higher if the hotel properly dealt with its bed bug problem and with us.

Infested with BED BUGS. Literally the worst hotel stay I've ever experienced. Booked one night and after waking up found the room was full of bed bugs! On further inspection there were several blood stains on the bed sheets which were obviously not new, anyone cleaning this room should have seen these and not ignored them! I managed to catch 3 of them and brought them to reception and the guy working there did not seem to be shocked at all. When I asked to speak to the owner / manager, they were nowhere to be found. I demanded a refund to which he did process but at no point did I get the impression the staff member really understood the gravity of the situation. Bed bugs are incredibly difficult to get rid of and once we got home we had to spend hours quarantining and cleaning everything we had with us. Several items that could not be cleaned properly had to be binned! After looking back through reviews for this hotel, you can see they have had a pattern of complaints regarding bed bugs spanning back over a year so clearly not properly resolved the issue which is a serious health hazard. I will be reporting them to the local Health and Safety Executive. Who knows how many guests have unknowingly brought bed bugs back to their homes!

After a dreadful experience at one of the surrounding hotels that meant we couldn't stay there, my friend and I went in search of another room for the night! After trying several we got to the Balmoral and were slowly loosing hope! We spoke to Emmanuel at reception who was lovely and save us from our nightmare! Its in a great location, just a short walk from Paddington station and surrounded by pubs and places to eat! It saved a dreadful weekend and turned it into an experience that we can look back and laugh at! The only downside is the bathroom was a teeny bit small but that didn't hugely affect anything!

Nice cozy house hotel in the middle of city. Walking distance to tubes. Small yet well maintained.

We visited London from 6 to 12 June. We stayed at Balmoral House. It was an unforgettable week in every way. The impeccable accommodations, clean, beds very comfortable breakfast. The staff very friendly. If I return to London my accommodation will undoubtedly Balmoral House. Thank you and to always from Coruña.

Great hospitality, good food, good location and quite silent place. Owner and staff are cheerful and friendly. It is really close to the Hyde Park and Paddington. Next time I will choose the same hotel as well. Thanks.

We were on this bridge at Balmoral House Hotel. It is our third time in 2000, 2003 and 2015, London has changed a lot, but the Hotel remains the same, in the good sense. It is very central and well connected. It is of a Spanish family, and that always facilitates the communication and the advice. We had a problem with the return flight and were the only ones who helped us, the owner, Auri and the people who are on the front desk, Francisco, Gabriel, and the boy French is not your name and who kindly guided us through the London underground to ensure that we made it to Gatwick. We will return, for sure and will recommend you whenever someone asks for where to sleep in London. Thank you!

Just returned from a weekend in London, and the Balmoral Hotel was very welcoming. Very clean, good breakfast, very nice town. We will return with pleasure!

It is a very clean, very good hotel very central and easy access, breakfast is very complete, abundant and varied, it is very good choice, I will repeat as many times as you go to London, totally recommended owners are Spanish and therefore very good people.

Balmoral house hotel should NEVER BEING visited! Few reason for it. Owner of the hotel, isn't welcome towards her guest by being rude and so towards stuff members which she bullied on every possible occasions and most of all she employs them illegally! Food which has been served at the House, has been cooked on very old oils, not tidy properly as there isn't enough people as she isn't willing to do it in the right way. Terribly sorry, but sometimes is better to pay a little bit more and go somewhere more friendly.

Behind this excellence that makes it a prominent place in its range, is the tireless hand of a Galician, logically speaking Spanish. Highly recommended.
