We just needed a relatively cheap place to stay for one night. Close to Paddington station was nice since we had to get to Heathrow the next morning. Room in main level was hot. No air-conditioning but an oscillating fan mounted to the wall helped some. Our shower drained very slowly so it would fill up while using which is gross… The room in the lower level/basement was better regarding the shower and the temperature.

Wireless absent, small towels and not enough for a family, microscopic bathroom, but it could have been worse, breakfast from third world… okay for 1 night.
The location is still convenient, you can reach the subway in 5min. And Hyde park is also very close.
A recommended walk is the one that leads through the park to the natural history museum.

Great location close to bus and metro stops. Very nice room, recently renovated. Only pity for the breakfast, really poor.

Ah memories, I stayed here on my first trip to London (and Europe for that matter). Great staff, safe place to stay, good continental breakfast to get you started on your day off wandering about the city and great conversation in the evenings with other patrons. It is a great little hostel and not to mention it is a few minutes from Paddington Station (which has great hot chocolate by the way). I enjoyed it here and would recommend it for anyone on a budget.

If you are looking for a cheap roof over their heads in London, it is right here. Very small, but close to the city. From this hotel, you can explore London on foot.

If you want to stay cheap and centrally in London, you've come to the right place! The rooms with wet cells are very small, but clean and without mould, which is often the case in London. Every morning the beds are made and the bathroom is cleaned and every 2 days there are fresh towels. Breakfast was great, with toast, jam, sausage & cheese, yogurt, cornflakes, coffee, warm & cold milk, orange juice and hot water for tea. Sometimes there were problems with hot water in the room, but there you have to go through in London.
If you want a cheap a cheap and central accommodation, White House Hotel is the right address! Small but clean rooms with a bathroom. Good standard breakfast with toast, jelly, cheese, cereals, hot and cold milk, coffee, yoghurt and so on. Sometimes there was no hot water in the bathrooms, but thats London and you have to deal with it.

The only good thing was the location but the rest, a shit. The room is very small and old and I have no words to describe the bathroom (to call it some way). Small is not enough. I think the bathroom of a plane is bigger than this. The staff was correct but they don´t give you any useful information. I don´t recommend this "hotel" to anyone I appreciated.
