The most important thing is the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast that exceeds the expectations in terms of the hotel category and the location as it is in a very quiet area, with access to all kinds of transportation and you can even walk until late. To improve a lot: extremely small rooms, very old curtains that fall the part of the blackout of the fabric, the cleanliness of the place is regular, the Wi-Fi that charge per day and is terrible. It is very economical but could also improve it.

Value for money the account is not there room and bathroom own comfortable bed a bit noisy but hotel well located in a nice area staff very helpful breakfast.

Well-located hotel (4 metro lines and bus less than 5 mins), small but correct room and bathroom. There is a concern in the shower: no pressure and hardly lukewarm water. Very good reception and very good breakfast with possibility of English breakfast.

I had read other good reviews about this hotel and unfortunately I have to confirm it almost all! Assuming that the standards of cleanliness we are accustomed to Italians are very high, and considering that the British NN are the maximum example, I confirm that the rooms leave somewhat to be desired in order and cleanliness! Small rooms, where you can move becomes a real problem, especially if you're in the bathroom, no bidet and so small that if you were to fall you would stay on your feet! Nn with elevator and with steep stairs (we were in the highest part…). Breakfast included But if you don't know how to adapt to that British nn eat that some toast… you draw the conclusions!

They are lucky they even got 1 star to be honest with everyone here. The place was a mess in a horrible area. You walk in the guy at the reception desk was rude and unhelpfull. He gave us the key and let us go no help with suitcase nothing! And when we went to the 2nd floor it stank of cigarettes but that was okay compare to when we open the door to our room! Armageddon I swear. The room was vile old and when you walked in everything was yellow and not yellow the colour yellow the dirt! And to top it all up there were ants! ANTS in our room! I FREAK OUT! IM SORRY BUT NO ONE DESERVES TO STAY THERE IT LOOKS LIKE A CHEAP PLACE FOR SOMEONE WHO WANNA TAKE A HOOKER FOR A QUICKY AND DONT WANNA SPEND TOO MUCH MONEY ON A PLACE. But than also its so expensive as well what you paying for the ants or the bed that I didny even want to put my bag in case something comes out from it. We than went to cancel it and leg it to another place where we would be safe. I still have not recived my payment back and noone os answering my phone. Now in all honesty dont go there people you might not come back or idk. Its not worth it.

The location and the breakfast are the only good things about this place. Front desk people don't care about anything other than charging you for everything they can. You have to pay 5 pound a night for Wi-Fi, also they wanted me to make a local call on the phone in the room. The shower had pubic hair all over the walls and floor witch makes me wonder how clean the sheets are.

This is a great little hotel near Paddington station, it's on budget, clean, well staffed and generally terrific.

I wouldn't go back to start.
We had a very different room from the one we had seen by photo, it was located on the fourth floor. The only option to climb was a very narrow and steep eternal staircase as there is no lift.
When entering the room we noticed that there was only one toallon. Over the phone we requested more and were told to go downstairs to look. When the toilet paper was finished we called and the answer was the same, which we went down to look for.
The staff was not very friendly and there were always different people, to request the key at the front desk did not ask for any personal information, they gave it like that no more, to anyone.
In the room you could use the heating only when they decided to ignite it. I had TV and refrigerator. It was not very hygienic and had no bidet.
Breakfast was very poor. Only toasted bread with jam, croissants that were not fresh, some cereals and to take option of chocolate, coffee or tea.
The only good thing was the location as it is close to several bus lines and a subway station. It's also not a neighborhood that makes you feel like you're in London.
For the same price I paid for sure you get something better.

Bad attention. When we booked the pictures in the room I had microwave cooking, it turns out that those were family rooms. We arrived with the bags and had to climb 3 floors down a very narrow staircase. When we walked into the room the bathroom was disgusting. The "heating" only works when they want to then you die of cold. The breakfast was very bad. I wouldn't go back even if I got paid.

The showers were little comfortable the little beds comfortable and not that aroma smelled very well.

Outrageous paid 278 Pound for a kind of room without toilet paper without towels… In two in a bed from a square and a half… It declares 3 stars honestly not even half… To conclude we had paid with PayPal in advance and the owner kept saying we do not accept PayPal after 30 minutes he realized it was his mistake.

Located at Sussex Garden. Nearest Tube station is Edgeware and this is at walkable distance. Rooms are not so comfortable. But cheaper in this area. Breakfast is provided. Good for economic class for staying a night or two. The famous Hyde Park and Buckingham palace are nearby. Night walk is in through Sussex garden can be very interesting for those are looking for some extra fun ;) Nice location.

Worst Hotel in London. Dirt, mold, excrements on windows, dirty rooms, lenazuola just as dirty. Worse than this hotel I don't think there is. Not recommended at all. Degraded and infamous neighborhood.

Something decent in this crazy prices city. Walking distance to main attractions. Lovely kitchen staff, moderate but ok for a short stay conditions.

A cheap and functional site. Mostly cheap. The rooms are crappy, but breakfast is well above what they usually offer hotels of this category.

Basic facilities, just a bed and shower for the night. Bed comfortable, shower and sink clean, hot water, everything worked. All you could expect for the price which, for London, was very reasonable. Just don't visit with high expectations. Charge for Wi-Fi not made clear in the booking info.

Bad hotel, poor cleanliness and very old rooms and kept bad. Only Pro is the location.

Terrible hotel. Very dirty and poop at the walls. Bloody sheets. Mould in the room. We got red skin, red eyes and coughing all night. Service are none existing. Cost 450 pound for 3 nights. We get back from town and our door was opened and lights were on. Nothing stolen thank u God. Breakfast was sour meet and dirty kitchen. We just eat there one time and then we go to restaurant. In the shower there was an old soap on the floor. It hadent been clean after previous guest. Smell was very bad. I culden recommend this hotel to anyone. It's like a dungeon. Please don't book this hotel ever ☹

Hotel non pulito, abbiamo trovato capelli e macchie in giro, bagno loculo dove non c'è aerazione, asciugacapelli da chiedere al bisogno alla reception. Ottima la colazione e personale molto disponibile e gentile.

Rick was very helpful with directions & getting us a taxi to leave. The bed was comfy and breakfast was good. That's about it! Had my 79 year old mom with me. I'm 50 & had to carry our cases upstairs myself. The room was tiny & disgustingly dirty. I even had to ask for loo paper. I disinfected the Room myself!

I paid $126 (US Dollars) to stay in a really terrible hotel for one night. It was expensive, and REALLY GROSS! The carpets looked like they hadn't been vaccumed in years. The toilets are nasty and stained and haven't been cleaned. There were holes in the walls in the room I stayed in; and we were on the fifth floor, so we had to take heavy luggage up five sets of stairs. The beds were creaky, single beds that were not comfortable. All the furniture in the room, and the electric kettle were dirty and old. It looks like a run-down hostel that no one cleans. It was so gross.

Friendly staff and easy going atmosphere not exactly to Ritz but still a nice place to stay.

The hotel is not bad, but it is far from the hotels that we have in Spain…
It is very centrally located, about 10 minutes walk from the beginning of Oxford St (from the Marble Arch side). Nearest Metro stop: Edgware Road less than 2 minutes.

Should improve for the price they charge…

Quiet, well located and economic, the only thing missing is Wi-Fi included.

Old and dirty! Normally old is not a problem, but if you Not cleaning it completly it is a problem! The toilet offers hair from the former visitor, the towel was Dirty, the whole Room was dirty. Unable to stay! Quite frustrating, if you spend at least 100£!

The shower was not really higienic as I stay 1 night I prefer not to take one. The bed was moving constantly as it have wheels but not a stopper. When I came into de room the WC was having brown water, there's only 3 cheap soap pieces and nothing as shower shampoo or gel. The breakfast at no extra cost and as they keep my lugage for free while I visit London save it from be a mediocre place. Friendly staff and good quality bkfst.

A "cheap and cheerful" place to sleep v close to Hyde Park with parking. Room was v tired, dirty and in desperate need of sorting but parking and a good breakfast in the morning saved it. (+hot shower) Was exhausted after long journey so didn't really care too much, provided I slept and the family had a nice time at Winter Wonderland in the park. Staff were friendly enough. I think I've been pretty generous in giving it 2 stars, but the cooked breakfast was well appreciated in the morning and I didn't "hate" the place.

Worst hotel experience ever. We got a small room in the basement, with a window looking in the washing room. Non working TV, filthy!

Horrible service, and horrible rooms for an overprice rate.

We stayed at Ventures Hotel for 3-nights, it looked like — as the refurbishment was completely done, and now it seems to be just like a 4-star (i would say), with Excellent location, all the rooms have been re-decorated, very efficiently run and all staff were very helpful and breakfast was fine as well. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and we will be coming for the summer.

Pleasant location nearish the tube. But that is where it stops. was looking for a budget hotel but when my partner and I arrived for our 2 night stay there were stains on the walls, the room hadn't been cleaned (the was a tooth pick on the floor). The shower, although hot, was like standing under your garden house in terms of pressure. Just terrible. And to top it all off we found blood on our sheets. And not just a spec under a magnifying glass spot but 3 drops! If your fine with a possible infection or rash developing then by all means stay here but if youd prefer to avoid a hospital visit after your stay then get drunk and go back to a cop shop. i gave it 1 star because I couldnt leave the field blank. It dosn't deserve a sparkle. The pictures are a complete lie! it dosent even have a reception thats is lime green.

This hotel was disgusting and dirty. Upon our arrival we viewed the dirty rooms and informed the clerk we were not staying because of the conditions and wanted the credit card credited. He gave us a real hard time because it was not a 48 hr cancellation. We got the manager who after much haggeling and wanting us to go to another hotel 20 min. Away did eventually give us a credit. Would never ever recommend this place. We wasted a lot of time on our first day in London because of this situation. Just very dirty.

I came with my boy friend from india, I found the place to be very pleasant and very clean, I was given the room on the 1st floor than I was been moved to the 2nd floor. I found the experience of the hotel to be found very pleasing, they didnt even charged me when I moved to a deluxe room on the 2nd floor, I would recommend this hotel specially to couples. i think this hotel has gone through re-furbishment.

This hotel has nothing attractive. Electrical wires running under your pillow, first time I see that. The bed is dirty, the carpets are dirty, the bathroom extremely dirty, amplified sounds from all rooms. The window is letting cold and traffic sound as if you were outside, so you sleep very bad. The breakfast is served by a gentle lady in dirty tools. But it is central london, and that's all. So if you want to enjoy your stay in london, don't ever ever go to this hotel.
