I just absolutely adore The Stafford, simple as that!

Amazing experience, food was spectacular and the service 2nd to none.

Our second stay at our favourite hotel in London. The staff are amazing, polite and so helpful I can’t speak highly enough about all of them. Our stay was delightful and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you all ❤️

Fab — u — lous. The American Bar — in the courtyard in the sun, when we were there — had great cocktails and The Game Room Restaurant was excellent, as was our room.

Stunning hotel, my absolute favourite in London. The bedrooms are luxurious and the beds are the best I’ve ever slept in. The staff throughout the hotel are fabulous, attentive and exceptionally polite.

I stayed here this past September (9/2019) and really enjoyed my stay here. Their bar and restaurant are quite nice as well and they even have a lovely patio which is not that common for hotels in London. Great location just off a busy street, so the rooms are quiet but still have access to everything. The staff and service was lovely. My room was also a very decent size for Europe and the turn down service was nice as well.

Horrible smaller-than-a-closet bathroom, AC constantly blowing to one”s head, noisy equipment under a window (overlooking some horrendous yard) — this is the worst room/hotel assistance that I have seen in about 10 years.
Not recommended.

Today I explored this beautiful hotel and it's surroundings, it has a restaurant which is beautiful and has a bar inside it. The American Bar, though, was not so glamourous. It was almost like a university's bar, with caps and toy aeroplanes hanging from the ceiling. The outside section although, was very pretty, and is nice to drink in on a sunny day.

Great outdoor venue. Service rather slow for a 5 star hotel. Also hugely disappointing that they refuse to take reservations for tables for dinner! Not what you expect from a good 5 star property.

Wow, this hotel is very unique. Old and New mixture yet very posh. I like the decor and everything is sophisticated. I would like to stay in one of the beautiful rooms.

Bar and terrace have a grandeur and exclucive feel. High price tag. Great drinks. Friendly service, but appears to be somewhat inefficient.

Autumn is a cozy hotel and perfectly located.

Such a treat, we went for drinks at The American Bar and was great Ed with friendly staff on arrival. Told to sit wherever we like and asked if we'd like to see teumenubor knew what we wanted. Great service and table nibbles of olives and crisps replenished frequently. It is price mind, but worth it for the service and a treat. Very nice!

Very elegant building, located near train station, rooms a bit small, staff very attentive — did not eat anything there.

Four of us went for afternoon tea. When we arrived the doorman was so helpful as my husband uses a mobility scooter and we was going to leave it outside but he opened another door so we could park it inside. He then showed us to the restaurant where the afternoon tea is served. We got shown to a lovely area by an open fire but it felt like they were not ready for us as the table was not laid and we waited about 40 minutes for our tea to arrive even though we had booked. The sandwiches were fine but the scones were wonderful arriving hot with lovely jam and clotted cream the pastries was a good selection. I had a special green tea which arrived in a bowl I thought this was very quirky. Overall we all thought it was a lovely afternoon the waiter and waitress were very polite. Would we return we all said yes and next time may look into staying there instead of our usual hotel for a change.

The room was incredibly overpriced. Very small. Bed was stiff. Customer service was awful. The hotel smells like old people. Location though, was incredible. This is just a stone's throw away from Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. I definitely won't be staying here again.

Had a delicious afternoon tea to celebrate my husbands birthday. On arrival I mentioned to the waiter that it was a special birthday, and asked if they could make a gesture for the occasion. The afternoon tea plus a brownie with a candle and a 'happy birthday' written on the plate arrived to our table — which was all very nice. However I surprised to be then charged £12 for the pleasure of the brownie on top of the cost for the afternoon tea, the waiter did not indicate there would be cost. Date of visit: 4.30pm Saturday 4 November.

Another wonderful stay at our home away from home in London. Again Frank, Sarah, Ned and all the team provided us with a stay scattered with those small pleasures. After a flight from USA and Oz. The dinner at the the Game Bird (try the fat pidgeon), breakfast with that lovely blood sausage, and the bath, that scrummy bed cushion… oh how lovely. Each morning Green Park, gave access to my wonderful walk… past Buck palace, and over to Hyde Park to build that appetite. Stuart, the GM, has pulled together a great team to serve us at this most perfecty located Hotel. I could have just stayed in! See you again soon guys. K and D.

Nice boutique hotel. Attended a private dinner function here and the food, quality of food, service and hospitality was just wonderful. Did not stay at the hotel, however if they give the same level of hospitality and service, I am sure it would be all pleasant.

Stayed here based on a friend's recommendation. It is the best location in the heart of London — close to everything. Staff is very attentive. A bit hard to find the first time. Intimate, and comfortable.

Early dinner at the Game Bird was excellent. Great, attentive service and really well executed food. I had a celeriac salad which was earthy — exactly what I would have hoped for. A chicken kiev came with its own apron as they had a history of ruining shirts when opened up. Very soft chicken, lovely herby butter, perfect mash. All followed by a towering soufflé. Expensive but utterly worth it.

We stayed for Sunday lunch and had a junior suite for the night. Lunch time we were extremely well looked after and the food was excellent. Having never stayed before the room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable, we ordered tea for the room which was delivered promptly.
Breakfast was a very relaxed meal and the staff very helpful.
It was a brilliant stay and I could not recommend it more highly.

Well what can I say. Wow wow wow this hotel is just amazing! Arguably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! An Ideal location with The staff being attentive, friendly and just fantastic!
The beds are literally like sleeping on a cloud and the rooms are gorgeous with everything you would want or need.
Breakfast well that also is fantastic with everything perfect and cooked to perfection.
I love love love this hotel and would recommend it to anyone. I can't wait to come back.

The Gamebird restaurant: all round good British scoff, however the signature dish — Gamebird, at £38 for 4 (admittedly lovely) chunks of bird, felt excessive — by about £12. — or a starter dish. Speaking of which, when I spied scallops at £18 — I asked a waitresses how many were to be served up. She thought it was five: in fact it is three; the other two mystery chunks, were, I think, either onion or potato — I can't recall. Either way, at £6 per lump of protein, that represents bona-fide p*ss-poor value, even by St James's elevated standards. The managers, of whom there are many, have paid insufficient attention to good staff training. The American Bar, afterwards: a very agreeable little snug in St James's with courtyard seating too.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around… The American bar looks great but we sat in the dining room for lunch, which was lovely. We hadn't expected the food to be too incredible but it was actually really nicely done and well priced. Staff were friendly too; all in all we had a good time although it wouldn't be my top pick for London.

Elegant with superior service. Onsite restaurant outstanding. Located adjacent to Green Park, close to Buckingham Palace, Churchill War Room, SOHO, St. James Park and more.

Lovely place. Very exquisite and fancy hotel. Went because of the bar. They have quite the collection of memorabilia. Definitely worth a stop if you like that sort of thing.

We had an outstanding experience, from the concierges to the bar staff and beyond, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable whilst still being of a high standard. The beds were divine, along with the breakfast and afternoon tea! We were there for the American presidential election and were given tickets for staying at the hotel. The night was busy yet we still were served excellent food and drinks. The reception staff were incredibly helpful with all of our queries. We will definitely go again and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Entrepreneurs who want to share their space with preppy bourgeois or banker suited types will enjoy this classy hotel, bar and tea salons. Excellent service, 5 star prices, but you can entertain serious meetings or work on your next billion dollar startup.

A beautiful gem in the heart of London. A cute room converted from horse stables. Incredible service from attentive, but not over bearing staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and couldn't recommend more.

I stayed here for two nights, was quiet and elegant. Sidewalks at night around here, and the hotel is hidden behind the track. We have 416 en suite and have views of the London Eye at night. And American Bar is a sandwich or quiet drink somewhere nice. Restaurant is beautiful. Wi-Fi was free, but are based on the points covered. We have here one of the best wine cellars to visit is a part of, is really great.

I and my family almost every year at Christmas will come to this hotel. The location of the hotel is very good, great atmosphere, and what services are in place. Also for people who want to smoke in outdoor heating.

What an incredible hotel. This is a real hidden gem in the heart of St. James's! Elegant, charming, sophisticated and utterly luxurious. A lovely sprinkle of tradition at this unique residence.

This is once of the best Hotels. It was such a luxurious experience for my vacation in London. Terrific service. Good location. The locale is perfect and the quiet is surprising for a central metropolitan location.
