We stayed at the London Edition for several nights just before Christmas, and it was spectacular. The staff was excellent, the room was perfect, and the location was (is) the best. Fantastic.

The London EDITION is beyond impressive. The level of service is the best I have received in the world.

Great place and I love Brener Street Tavern but how they can justify £15 for a drink is a little beyond me. I know it’s London blah blah but there are better club venues that don’t charge that in the same area. Barr staff were a little rude and someone made a stinging accusation or selectiveness via race (racism basically) while at the bar which was a bit shocking considering it was a private party for a black celebrity. If you don’t go you won’t be missing much.

I adore this hotel, not only is the atmosphere great the service is amazing. The staff members are always welcoming and treat people with great hospitality. The concept and interior is really nice. The dinning area has beautiful art pieces.

I love this hotel. The bar and restaurant are always buzzing. The service is great and friendly. The guest rooms are nice (fan of the darker room though compared to the lighter ones) and most of all there is a hidden punch room at the back which I tend to use for my after dinner drink. Breakfast meetings at the hotel are also great. No buffet just a la carte.

It's not often that I rate anything 5 stars but this place deserves it. I enjoyed everything about my stay at The Edition in London. The staff is so helpful no matter at what time you would communicate with them. There was a small snafu the days we were staying there as the lifts were both out of order. Even with this inconvenience that could really turn a stay on its head it was hardly noticeable. The staff would escort you to the service lift at any time you wanted and with zero complaints. The style of the hotel is classic but beautiful and the rooms have all the amenities you could want. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave it. The fact that you have a Michelin rated chef cooking your room service is also pretty incredible. I would stay here again on my next trip to London and would highly recommend this place to any of my closest friends.

Basement bar is not wheelchair accessible, not many seats so awful if you can't stand for long. Very limited range of non-alcoholic drinks, and unusual brand of lemonade that tastes weird. Too dark and music too loud.

Punch room, lobby bar and Berners tavern are all fantastic. If you are a business traveler, having these places means you never have to leave the hotel once you’re home for the evening. Staff here makes you feel at home despite a somewhat stuffy crowd. Rooms are comfortable and service is what you would expect from a hotel at this price.

Great understanding of vegan food and, a decent selection to accompany it. Before you head over, ask for a vegan menu — if you're a guest, they'll place it in your room before you arrive. Nice, dark hotel with overall chic vibe. Great staff — very enthusiastic without being overbearing.

Feel a true historical London vibe with out the pomp. Old school art gallery vibe restaurant — food is second to none, assorted healthy and naughty menu. Espresso martinis to live for Staff super friendly and easy going knowing a lot about the menu and drinks. Michal who used to man the door at the punch room (amazing drinks venue in same hotel) is amazing he really makes the extra effort.

I was at the bar downstairs and the lighting used was very good, nice and cozy. Not cold, not hot just right. There was a cloakroom downstairs which was good. The guy opening and closing the door was good and polite to me. Atmosphere setting of the lounge area, or ground floor was nice with nice aroma smell.

Very chic, very hip and very expensive. Kind of feels like you are there just to be seen. Food and drinks were good enough just be aware of the pricing. Going crowd gives it a good vibe. Had a great time other than the man sitting next to us verbally and physically abusing his wife. It was shocking for someone not used to that culture.

Wonderful hotel! The service from every staff member was warm and they were all very knowledgeable. They were attentive when I needed something in my room and made great recommendations when I went out of the hotel. The 24 gym was appreciated when I had insomnia. The only thing I would ask is that they add recycling containers in the rooms since I don't like throwing the plastic amenity and water bottles in the trash bin.

Came here for a date night and ended up in their basement where they were playing a UK garage scene All-star Boiler Room. Only at the Edition could this happen! The restaurant is beautiful — the lighting makes you (well my guest) look gorgeous — the wine flowed with the help of their staff, we tried three different bottles topped off with incredible cocktails. It’s great here from breakfast lunch or dinner and could recommend this to all ages.

There are light wood rooms and dark wood rooms. Make sure to request one that appeals more to you. There are many types of rooms (odd shapes and configurations), so I'd ask reception to help you find one that suits your needs. A few have HUGE windows but are very narrow. Some are on a high floor but have slanted walls which make it feel more cramped. Service is fantastic and there are little details that make one's stay a memorable one. Comparable to an ultra-chic four seasons.

To start: the room is more then lovely. The bed and pillow's are WOW and also the shower I would love to bring home. The staff is considerate and really super kind. Fabrizio head concierge helped me a lot and stayed relaxt while I was not so relaxt, he was super friendly and helpful, just what I needed. Also, not to forget, the food in the restaurant and roomservice is so nice. If I have the possibility I would 100% come back and undoubtedly I recommend this hotel.

I spend over 200 nights a year in hotels. I don’t do a lot of reviews mainly because of time bandwidth. Sometimes it just makes and and is worth the time. The Edition is one of the best hotels in the World. Not because the rooms are over the top. Rather, a combination of hospitality and chic elegance. The level of attention to detail for the guest’s experience from the moment you check-in until you leave. Here’s a quick rundown. Hotel: It’s an old building and they’ve kept 100% of the charm and updated the areas that needed it. The rooms aren’t the largest, but very comfortable and what you would expect for this price point. The shower gets a 10 out of 10. Lots of pressure and rain shower experience. Food: From breakfast to dinner there’s zero reason to leave this hotel. I would put the cuisine up against any Michelin rated place. Truly a foodies dream to come here. The wine collection boasts almost 1, 000 bottles and pick a country, they probably have it. Willingness: To me, this is the most important part. If you leave upset here it is your fault. Anything you share with staff they solve on the spot. WOW! Is my only word to describe and we will return again. It’s our new “Goto” spot in London. Sorry Ritz.

Stayed here for 2 nights and had the best experience. The bedding is so comfortable and they had excellent foam for pillows. The service was fantastic — Georgia in the Punch room was fantastic, Dan Drake was so nice and accommodating and Victor in Berners Tavern was great. We would come back in a heartbeat. I loved the neighborhood and it was perfect because there were loads of great dining options and shopping right around the hotel.

Had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. I got a deluxe room with an amazing shower. Huge and really good pressure. Bed was comfy. Only issue with the room was due to the design of the ceiling, the air from the AC gets directed and blown in your face when you are in bed. Easy walk to tube station and generally in area.

Went to have afternoon tea (Scandal Water). We can select three different tea, food and punch which are matched and meant to complement each other. Great atmosphere and very good service. You get a small tea pot with very nice teas, the food was tasty but portion was tiny (a bite size). Cocktails are very good. We tried all of them between us and I like the Jasmine one and the one with dark chocolate tart.

Just… perfect! Perhaps the best in class luxury hotel experience I had! Fron the very friendly but elegant and professional welcome (early arrival, not informed before, they found a room), a lot of care of attention.
The place is beautiful, the meals are so good. And the ambiance at night is always great. Cocktails are amazing.

Loved the delicious drinks and the amazing service! We found a table and sat down ourselves. Was expecting a lack of service but we were wrong. The staff brought water and popcorn, without being ask. The place is filled with good looking folks on Christmas eve. Our water glasses were never empty — a mark of true good service. Will definitely go back!

Beautiful Hotel in a quiet street, but a stone's throw from Oxford Street and Soho. The entrance, the bar and the restaurant are characterised by elegant marbles, velvets and a very high ceiling, which expands the already amp and pleasant spaces. The staff are all extremely professional and ready to meet the needs of the customers. In my case they made possible an early check-in. The rooms are very cared for but essential at the same time. I really liked the Boiserie, which makes the environment very intimate and warm.

It is a nice hotel and ambience. The restaurant is probably a highlight and the service is good; however, I noticed a lack of followthrough pertaining to requests/service.

Fantastic and luxurious hotel right in the middle of Soho with a very lovely cocktail bar, as well as a famed restaurant Berners Tavern by the celebrity chef Jason Atherton. Service was friendly, and honestly couldn't ask for more. There's also a well equipped gym for the more athletically inclined guests.

Very good hotel in the most central location. Very friendly service staff (At times even calling you on the first name basis) and good atmosphere overall. The lounge bar has a bit of a flirty atmosphere so beware. Waitresses may want to lure you to order more just because they're doing their job. Breakfast at Berner's Tavern is also of good quality although there's not much natural light in the room.

Had my first stay at the edition and absolutely loved it — I will definitely stay here again. The service was fantastic — when I first arrived, there was a cold drink waiting in the fridge. Then, I unfortunately got sick, and they sent up tea, hot water, and lemon/ginger on a regular basis and checked in on me. Very nice when you're sick far from home! When I felt better, the service at the restaurants and bars was great. Everyone was very friendly, happy to chat and faciliate conversations with other guests, or just leave you alone to do your thing. The area was great, with tons of restaurants, bars, and stores in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Superb in Central London. Excellent service, clean and availability of accessories (for the bathroom) of above average quality. Super friendly staff and great help but never intrusive. Bar and lounge perfect for aperitifs or cocktails after dinner with music never annoying.

Staying at the London Edition for 5 nights. Best hotel I have stayed at in London. Its conveniently located in SOHO/Marylebone in a beautiful building. The bar, lounge and restaurant spaces are beautiful and always seemed to be packed with happy drinkers and diners. The food at Berners Tavern was delicious at both breakfast and dinner and the service was phenomenal. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in London. I highly recommend it.

Elegant and chic ambience in this Georgian building, rooms very inviting and delicious meals… My husband and I decided to stay a few nights in London to celebrate our anniversary and his birthday. The London Edition is simultaneously an excellent (and opulent! ) hotel, a first rate restaurant, a brilliant cocktail bar, a very trendy social venue, a place to be seen and a stunning building. Go there for any or all of those reasons, but book ahead as it's always packed, unsurprisingly!

Me and my wife in a weekend short break, stayed in this hotel for one night. The staff, whether is at the front desk staff were excellent. For London standards, the hotel room is very spacious. Very comfortable beds, decoration very high standards. The punch bar of the hotel is great, warm and comfortable, and very quiet, we were outside the hotel restaurant after dinner to come back here for a drink. My dissatisfaction with the hotel there is a little bit small – stone floors in the bathroom floor, no heating system, but this is a flaw in this perfect hotel only. I highly recommend this hotel to others.

Old hotel Berners, but with a magnificent reform.

Pricey hotel steps from the shopping mayhem (not in a good way) on Oxford Street. Rooms are tiny; upgrades to superior rooms are well worth the expense. Beds are comfortable. Service is solicitous. Cocktails in the lobby bar are disappointing and egregiously overpriced. Overall a pleasant stay in a convenient part of town.

Hotel very good, service food great! The hotel is very clean, very practical! Decor is also very trendy this! The hotel atmosphere is very good here, the people are so nice! The kids are very cute! We took our 8-month-old baby, so we lived in a baby bed in the room, this place has everything kids need stuff! The hotel gave our kids provided a set of cute little set of lotion, shampoo and baby cream… very recommend it!

Apparently less than 2 years old this hotel feels "new" and is certainly smart and modern. Staff are extremely polite and helpful. But if you arrived here believing it's a "Ritz Carlton" (it's listed on the RC website) then my 1 night's experience is that it's not a 'RC' standard (@2nd Jan 15 at least). An evening meal at the Berners Tavern delivered lamb which was — at best — 'warm' (I would claim 'cold'). All other components of the meal were acceptable but portions were small. Believing 'warm lamb' to be a mistake, I returned it with a request to make it 'hot' (and in my view edible). However it was returned 'warm' again with a explanation that this is how lamb should be done. Errrrrrr… now my position on this reply is that it's pretentious nonsense which only the 'pretentious' would accept. To confirm my suspicion that 'pretension' is often used to mask incompetence, the following morning's full English breakfast (for two people) was delivered well burnt… tomatoes… bacon et al! A long way to go before this hotel makes it to Ritz Carlton standards!

The lobby bar is very nice, great decoration ideal to have a drink with a nice background music not very loud. The Punch room is lovely and cosy, you can enjoy a nice cocktail next to a fireplace. Very good place, definitely recommend it!

Just popped in here for a pre-dinner drink. Swanky bar with good drinks. It's a pretty impressive lobby / bar area with plenty of space to hang out and a row of gleaming new iMacs on desks near the doors. Swank-a-lanky.

Drinks at the bar here are a rich, decadent experience in a stunningly rich mirror and gilded surroundings of the restaurant room. If you are looking to impress a date and want to experience expensively lush surroundings, this is the place. There is a great selection of cocktails, sprits and fine wines. This is definitely a special occasion venue for drinks and there a fab night club downstairs. Get dressed up and enjoy the beautiful ambience of a very fine hotel in London.

I've already given Berners Tavern a glowing review and the rest of the hotel in which it's nestled is no different when it comes to upholding a high standard. The rooms are beautiful, a little pricey for someone looking for a 'cheap nights sleep' but in my opinion, worth the money. Beautiful and spacious, cool without feeling pretentious. The Punch Room is fast becoming one of my favorite haunts for cocktails too. Be aware that this hidden gem is a reservations only bar, and don't turn up looking as though you've just been dragged through a hedge backwards. You'll just ruin it for everyone else. Everything from the decor to the carefully chosen music (think doo-wop, blues, ragtime) creates a land that time forgot, where you can while away the hours with friends or in some sort of romantic rendezvous enjoying one of the delightful punches.

The door men have been so pleasant and patient with customers. A special shout out to an employee at the London edition by the name of Ivan who was extremely respectful in his service and made our stay simple and immediate. I highly recommend staying at the London edition and thank the staff for their service. Thank you.

Ultra sexy designer hotel in the heart of London. Relaxed drinks at the Lobby Bar. A darker, more intimate setting at the Punch Room tucked away on the inside.

A very nice hotel, the rooms are fashion, are bigger than other hotels. The location is good for shopping and visiting British museum, and there is a Nandos nearby.

If you like indian food please Try The Taj Restaurant in 10 Carlton Parade Orpington Kent BR6 0JB open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday 5.30pm to 11.30pm and Sunday 5.30pm to 11.00pm.

Cocktails in the Punch Room. It's private, you can chat to each other without shouting your head off and you get table service as and when — but no hurry. The bar snacks are yummy and the punch selection is tea infused by @raretealady — sooo good. Word of advice, unless you are well known you do need to make a reservation.

A very nice hotel centrally located between Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road. The room was spacious, quiet and very well designed. One of the better showers that I've encountered in London hotels. And the bath products smell wonderful — seriously, where can I get more? I will happily stay here again on my next trip to London. Berners Tavern is beautiful in the evening — ideal lighting and definitely a place to take someone you're wanted to impress. Food was good but didn't live up to it's surrounding. Pricey but worth it for a special occasion. Highly recommend visiting the punch room for a cocktail if you prefer a little more privacy.
