I get that this is a budget place but basic things are missing. Chairs are broken. Plugs outlets do not work. There are no lamps in rooms. Noise isolation is non-existent. The only good thing about this place is the location.

I knew it would not be a luxury Hotel but I certainly didn't expect such crap. I dare say that the bathroom is almost run down and at the limit of the hygienic norms. I am one that adapts but when it is trope is too much. Dirty room with carpet that hasn't been cleaned for years…
Ridiculous breakfast.

Nice location in the heart of London. Right across Marble Arch and a stones throw from the Hi Streets, Oxford and Regent Street. The rooms are very small especially the bathrooms. The breakfast spread is also very skeletal.

Location was awesome just its old building so no features there staff friendly.

Very central. The cleanliness shines by his absence. There is dust everywhere (bedside, headboard, top of the cupboards…) The bathroom somewhat cleaner.

Don't expect a Pallas.
Some can faded in its poorly insulated juice, a bit noisy but typical of London The breakfast is very good. The staff is at the little care thing gone in France.
This well-located Hotel near Marble Arch (-5 minutes walk) is located close to the main London bus line (about 700) including those using Oxford Street main shopping artery that will lead you or you want. (Take a day plan) * Attention They roll to the left! It's very disturbing!

It was a very old hotel.
Loud poorly isolated phonetically.
Breakfast possible from 8am to 10am in the room.
Free Wi-Fi.

Booked here 3 times. Convenience, hyde park, oxford street are within walking distance.

Cheapest place for a great location. Room are dated, beds were uncomfortable and overall cleanliness could be improved. With all of that said price for the area is a pretty good deal.

The room wasn't very clean and looked very rundown. The shower went either boiling hot or freezing cold if anyone else in the hotel used the water.

I stayed last week at this hotel, booked through Ryanair Holidays, at a great price. Pros: Great location, very close to Oxford Street, Soho, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace. All the monuments can be reached in a few minutes by Metro, or about twenty minutes by bus, because of the traffic. Good breakfast included in my package, buffet, including milk, coffee, tea, Corn flakes, various brioches (not good), butter, jams of five types, and on request eggs with or without beans, and toast, white or cereals, baked at the time, then warm, and orange juice. Towels changed every day and passed fast to the room too daily. Tv and hair dryer in the room, and water-soluble kettle and coffee, and tea available. Cupboards where to store clothes and suitcase, chest of drawers. Reception always open, courteous staff, even during breakfast. Working Wifi, for me, while my partner never managed to connect, however he could sometimes connect with the hotel opposite, Montcalm.
Cons: Quite old hotel in the furnishings, room curtain torn, carpet, but luckily not in the bathroom, not immaculate, bed redone Ogmi Day but no change of sheets, but they looked clean on the first day. By the English standards better than others I frequented.

It stunk of smoke and was tiny compared to other prices and places not worth the trouble. Service was nice though.

Close to colapsing. At least close to Marble Arch tube station.

Very basic hotel but if you just want to sleep in a good location in London then this is you place. Just don't expect world class rooms.

Provides us with accommodation at the last minute which was great and really appreciated. Room was clean but shower didn't work. Breakfast ok but dining room not big enough for all guests.

Located in the central London in the marble arch area, the location is very nice… the rooms are just enough for sleeping… rent is good… food is for non veg more than the veg… rooms are for single, double, triples and quads The rooms are good with attached bathroom and temperature controlled showers and tea and coffee supplies and the floor is all carpet… the restaurant is close to McDonald's, pret,. Starbucks, Subway, Oxford Street… etc. All over nice hotel for night stays… Enjoy your trip.

The location is excellent. The service is modest but so is the money paid for it. The reception morning staff are friendly and helpful. Very good for people who spend most of the time outside and just need a place to spend the night for very little money compared to other higher hotels in the same area / street. Just a few steps from Oxford street etc.

Location was perfect for the Hyde Park Festival. Room was clean and breakfast included wasn't bad, although could have done with a bigger dining space. The lift didn't go to the fourth floor so glad I only had a rucksack otherwise I'd have been annoyed about having to carry a suitcase up the narrow stairs.

Quite possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Great location and modest rates, but the room was awful. It was on the third floor, which meant a two-person maximum rickety elevator ride wherein you had to stack the luggage so you and it would fit… a loose lock on the door, paper thin walls, clean sheets but the rest of the room was dirty. The shower ran out of hot water, it had no soap, so you had to use shampoo instead… the toilet is on a raised platform, dangerous for the elderly, it takes minutes for the hot water to appear, and there was less than four feet between the walls and each side of the full size bed. The staff is even worse… no help with the suitcases… on one occasion the manager at seven thirty in the morning was lying on the couch in the lobby with his shoes off. On a second occasion, a different person at the front desk was watching a movie on his phone and clearly did not want to be bothered. On the morning of our departure, we asked a lady at the front desk to call our reserved taxi so as to confirm that he was on the way,. Her response was " no… that costs money! " The continental breakfast starts at 8 am… too late for us and I suspect, most tourists, to utilize. We spent 14 days on a cruise ship and at various ports throughout Europe and then two nights in London. NOTHING was even close to the conditions and treatment we observed ar this place. Spend the extra money Somewhere else… this is NOT the place to stay. I give it a NEGATIVE five stars…

Nice hotel but a basic 2 star hotel. You really do get what you pay for. Holes in the toilet door and a shower with less power than a watering can. On the plus side nice comfy beds and a decent full English breakfast for £4. Placed in a good area right at the start of Oxford Street and opposite marble Arch and the park.

We were in a quadruple room, hotel very simple, has an elevator up to the 3rd floor and we had to climb up a few stairs to go up to our room. The bathroom, old but for the little time that we were going to be okay. The simple breakfast. Very little noise. But the best, I repeat best location! At the start of oxford street. Deserved to the experience.

Liked: Nice staff, good location Disliked: Bath — water comes very slowly, the adjustment of water temperature is impossible.

Pros: Staff very nice. Has safety lock box for Rent for 15 euro that laptop will fit in. Decent breakfast, friendly wait staff. Good coffee. Can order eggs for 2 euro. Location seemed safe Cons: No Air Conditioner just ceiling fan which was broke but they fixed and provided a floor fan in the meantime. Very small elevator (2 people max). Free Wifi doesn't work in rooms, only on main floor. No shower curtain, no washrags, only towels, stained blankets, no hairdryer. Basically, if you are an American you will be shocked. Not even up to motel 6 standards. Smoking by outside entrance. Hotel could be beautiful inside if they would take pride in the place. Hallways are so small you can barely get your luggage down the them.
