Left a key to a very expensive car by mistake along with some shoes which also cost a pretty penny in the room safe. Called to make sure they had them, was told that they had the items and to come and collect them. Took a short while to go and get them as myself and my partner work way out of the London area. When I arrived to collect the items, I was told the items were not there and had never been there. Absolutely disgusted with the hotel staff as they were not helpful at all. Partner phoned to complain and he was hung up on by a very rude member of staff. Will definitely not be returning.

I booked to stay with some friends in August and stayed.
Wasn’t a great stay however I didn’t leave a review.
I do not know how but on looking for hotels for work I somehow booked another stay with them in Nov.
Obviously I didn’t show for this stay due to not even realising I had booked it (I book hundreds of hotels a month) I emailed them immediately and tried to call to explain the issue and as I had used my personal card to guarantee (still unsure how) they took the £169 1 night stay as per terms and conditions.
The payment has now left me unable to pay my rent and I will be evicted by the end of Nov.
I have emailed to explain this and asked them to understand. I would completely understand if the hotel had been full but they still had empty rooms so it’s not even as if they would have lost money.
They have emailed me to say tough even though they ignored me until I said I would put reviews on.
I am deeply upset and now potentially homeless due to a mistake and although I understand their policy they have basically told me to go away despite the financial hardship they have now put me under.
Awful hotel who clearly are only out to take your money and don’t care one iota about customer service! Shame on you!

Great place for Parties, Dinner and to stay.

Good bits… clean and modern. Helpfull staff… location great. Continental breakfast was nice selection.
not so good bits. Executive room was very very small… and defo not worthy of that price bracket… bathrobes missing and not delivered when asked for…
moved to an upgraded room on 2nd night… much more the standard I would say fitted the "executive room bracket "… although still no bathrobes!

I appreciate location is everything in London… but I've stayed in much bigger rooms in same area … and had a bathrobe.

Very nice hotel, good loction and friendly staff.

I emailed the hotel before I stayed and got a response within two hours. Now after my stay I got an incorrect charge on my bill and there is no way to correct because the hotel is not answering my emails (it has been over two weeks now).

Very reasonably prices hotel. Only stayed a night due to travelling but would happily go back and stay for longer. Good sized clean rooms, helpful friendly staff and for us, a perfect location. Have spent much more on a hotel room for much less! Highly recommend.

It was a good experience, the staff was very friendly and helpful, good location near to hyde park and underground On the other hand The room was clean and comfortable beds but it was very small also the toilet and the elevator.

Though it is my first stay here, but this is a preferred hotel for my future visits to London. Centrally located, good spacious 'sweet rooms'. Most important a very friendly and courteous staff. Yes the breakfast is divided, for how elaborate breakfast there is another £5.

Very good hotel for London. Location was great, 5 min walk to Paddington station. Rooms, bathrooms are small but this is London.

We ended up in this property because they were diverted from the Blakemore Hyde Park hotel being renovated (the same group's 4th hotel, I think Starcrown), without any warning.
Settle into a tiny room, without even the space to open a suitcase.
But that wouldn't be a problem (despite booking it being for a larger room).
Alas at bedtime, we find that the mattress is completely smashed to one side, with a hole of 40cm, exactly in the back area.
Unfortunately being midnight, nothing could be done until the next day.
Being a small bed (double French), one of us has practically not slept.
The next day, we were changed room, fortunately.
The staff was very cold about it (I would say more than anything annoyed), we were not given any compensation or compensation attempt (such as a higher category room, a paid dinner, but not even a bottle of water).
At the price paid, the service was very poor, the inconvenience was not handled as you would expect from a 4th (perhaps it would be better stables).
For the record, very impersonal breakfast without anything special.
Just a thank you to the only person on the staff who was kind and affable, Assam, on the night shift.

Had a lovely meal with my mum in RoBo and meal was very nice, would say best served chips have ever tasted x will defiantly go back staff are so nice an friendly very professional.

Good hotel good rooms but small, reception team ara very very slow they should improve!

Very convenient for Paddington/Heathrow Express. Loved our huge room and had the best sleep ever. Dinner in ROBA very attentive staff, beautiful surroundings and lovely food.

Well-located hotel (Paddington District is very well located for public transport). Small room as in many London hotels. Continental breakfast fairly classic but sufficient at the level of choice.

Great hotel. Good location. Quiet and calm environment. Very friendly and helpful staff Rooms are not particularly spacious, but clean and cozy, equipped with electrical outlets of the Italian and USB type, also available with two single beds. Shorter beds than the norm. Toilet in good condition. Nice continental breakfast Good restaurant stuff.

Stayed here with the Girlfriend on a weekend away. Hotel was amazing however we were on the floor below the lobby so all we could hear were footsteps all night. That's a minor thing in comparison to the whole event, however.

Perfect Hotel for small short vacationer. Here is why:

— way to short beds! I'm ~1, 90m and my feet were out of the bed while my head touches the other end. Except for that they are very Cosy and comfortable!

Very good hotel located not very far from Edgware Road but on a much quieter street. Friendly staff, luggage ratuite and copious breakfast, there is a mosque right in front of the hotel.

Rooms are pretty small but well designed and with everything you need. Beds comfy and showers hot. Food is ok, though not brilliant. Staff are all lovely. V weird music choice in the restaurant…

Hotel is very good. It was close to Fruit tower of innocent drinks. Very clean rooms, restaurants and above all front office staff was courteous. Helping natured. Overall a good stay for 3 days. Would like to come back. Nijaguna, Bennur, Bangalore, India.

Good value for money with breakfast included! Only downside the rooms are slightly small.

My partner and I enjoyed a very pleasant night at Norfolk Towers. We had a deluxe room which was extremely spacious and yielded a great night's sleep. Two full size wardrobes and a large bathroom with fantastic shower and bath. Conveniently located a short distance from Paddington mainline and underground stations. Plenty of shops and restaurants around. My only minor criticism was that it took quite a long time to check in. Only one of the three check in staff was serving guests.

Renovated. Very nice and clean rooms. Eye Breakfast There are two undifferentiated areas continental breakfast and other hot food. Includes only first the other you charge it.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.

For the relatively low price tag, this place was extremely comfortable. Nice beds, extremely clean and modern. Short walk from Paddington station and Oxford Street. Would definitely stay again next time we are in London.

Really very bad hotel. Room very small if u r little bit fat u can't take around in the room and will be very difficult to enter the bathroom and close the door. AC is fixed over the bed with cold air and u can't stop the aircondition even if u take off the card key to stop all the electricity… It was a horrible day and I can't sleep all night. And I was sorry that I didn't ve time to make a legal problem with them. It must be a 1 star hotel max.

Lousy in London, the tiny rooms equal the bathroom, also all you hear you can't sleep. And the breakfast they tell you is included and then they want to charge you a part of the breakfast.

Nice 3 stars hotel, location is ok with 1 min from bus stations and 3 min from underground. Not much to see around, rooms are small but warm.

Love to give it 5* but deserves 4.5* pleasantly surprised by the hotel: stylish, Good location, friendly staff throughout. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable and although bathroom is nice its wayyyy to cramped. breakfast was solid 6/10 but the bar and its cocktails are 9/10.

The Hotel is very friendly, clean, very courteous staff. The breakfast is great and offers the opportunity to try the English one with a surcharge of 4 pounds. The location is ideal for travel, because it is on the subway. I would go back!

Elevator was broken throughout our stay — — and from reading comments here seems it's been like that for some months! We booked an executive room, but room given didn't have space to even go around the bed. I was told because it was a 'small executive' as opposed to a 'large executive' — — if such a category really exists why weren't we made aware of it when making the booking? … They changed the room on second day. The beds are a sin: old, sagging, without any support whatsoever! For someone with back problems this hotel is a no go! Didn't like that they actually charged my credit card weeks before I was even in the hotel — — never had such an experience before. Only redeeming factor is the hotel's proximity to Paddington Station. But still there are probably better hotels in the area. Hotel not recommendable under any circumstances.

Very nice hotel, good place to start to visit the most important destinations in London, great breakfast and plenty for the dinner lovely restaurant, great quality, only flaws the small rooms, but hotel that I would recommend Without thinking 2volte.

Friendly and qualified staff. Walking distance to the main tourist destinations. Great connection to Paddington Underground from where you can easily reach any point in London.

A great hotel experience! The rooms are a little on the small side for your dollar value yet well equipped for guests. The staff have been welcoming and polite. Continental Breakfast was lovely. Would stay here again. Its close to transport links etc.

When I first arrived at the Norfolk Plaza, I thought it was a nice hotel on the outside but looks can deceive you. When I walked in it was dirty and crusty. The sofa's stank in the lobby, It's was a piece of bullshit. The breakfast was stale, the showers had mil-dew and the toilet. Oh by the way I got stuck on that ragity ass elevator. Don't ever stay there! unless you just straight up pissy and dirty.

Room: JUST enough room to put 2 suitcases. TV: boatlod of channels. Bathrooms: okay. Breakfast: free, but construction work goes on a few metres away.

Not a good experience at all! Building work going on whilst eating breakfast lots of loud drilling! We have a 1 year old which they supplied a cot for after I called before booking to ask if they accommodate for children but when we checked in they're lift wasn't working so had to leave buggy in reception. And when we arrived for breakfast they told us they only had 1 high chair which was already being used! So I had to sit with our daughter on my lap whilst my partner ate then when we had to swap! Not ideal when your go away for a nice bit of family time. We ask if we could come back when the high chair was free but they said breakfast stopped at 10 at it was 9:20 so said we would probably miss it if we waited! Awful service. Rooms ok but quite small. Breakfast also said it was included but they didn't tell us a cooked breakfast wasn't included until we got there which wasn't good either.

Very nice small hotel rooms spacious, free Internet in the rooms, very good breakfast, lift, friendly staff. The hotel is situated in a quiet, almost in the Centre of London terms of beautiful parks, Albert Hall, 10 minutes to the station Pedigton.

Internet weak and unusable in room g8, went to complain and got a story about a little girl who was able to play a game on her phone. I tried to explain that not all games required internet to play on a phone. Got an explanation that the router was right next door to my room and I should have full signal. I counter explained that I set these systems up for a living and the router only routes network traffic and the ap broadcasts the signal sometimes it is on the router but clearly not in this case. Got im sorry but there is nothing I can do, try it here please gave me a wrong username and password had to get another and im writing this pissed off in the lobby.

Nice hotell for me and my son. Stayed there for 3 nights. Good breakfast and nice room. We diddnt freeze :-) :-). Okay locatin to down town. Cab or bus or underground or even walk! Helpful people behind info table at the hotel! Lots of pubs / eating places right with the hotel! Spec Frontline club! Cherio bye bye.

Nice hotel with clean and modern rooms. Carpet throughout the entire building. Continental breakfast is nothing special and the hotel doesn't have a real restaurant, only a sports pub with some snacks. However there are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. Ideal as a substitute hotel for events in the Mariot/Hilton on Edgware road.

The negative reviews of this hotel made me incredibly nervous about my stay, but I can honestly say it was lovely. The construction is all done so no work men, the staff were very helpful, pleasant clean room and the location was perfect! Right by Marylebone station and Paddington station, and 15 minutes away from Oxford Street and Piccadilly Circus, loved it! Would go again.

Good location nearby from Paddington Station. Quality is only toleratable. Stayed in summertime and rooms are really hot, with no A/C. Cheap price and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is OK.
