Hotel was pretty good. The walls were somewhat thin, and the shower had a weird ceiling that came down pretty low (almost will bump your head if you're 6' or above). Other than that, it had A/C, a pretty good breakfast, and the bed was alright. The hotel is pretty close to a lot of restaurants, and very close to Hyde Park, which is beautiful.

Great location. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. Some of the wait staff very friendly and good. The ladies need to learn to smile seems like they are annoyed the majority of the time which takes away from this lovely place being 4 star and above.

The Hotel suited our purpose, great location, close to Hyde Park and most conveniences. Unfortunately I was astounded with the trouble I had getting in and out of the place with Large Baggage, with no hint of assistance, trolleys or porters. Luckily I'm a fairly fit 55y. O. I had to drag my partners and I's bags upsteps to the entrance. Lift up to the floor OK, but the floor was split level I had more stairs 4-8 steps to drag up and do before getting to the room and enjoying Tea with Nurofen!

Wonderful place! Best hotel I have been at it in a long while! Highly recommended. Amazing locatiom.

In a comfortable position, old building, with the floor in swollen wood, hidden under a carpet. Room by 3, space was little, but with a city like London, in the hotel at the end we have to go back just to sleep, and given the price, I would stay here again.

A convenient hotel to get to the center of London. Spacious rooms, good international breakfast although it does not offer much choice. A small fall of style occurred at the time of departure in date 15/4/2018. We asked the front desk to guard two hand luggage in the back for a few hours. We were told it was possible at the price of a pound the one. Usually the hotels offer this service for free.

Chic typical English Hotel, room equipped with everything you need, tea / coffee making facility was available on request ;-), window-out of date and it pulls clean, very nice staff.

An absolutely recommendable Hotel. The rooms are modern and clean furnished with Wi-Fi, the bathroom clean and well. The transport connection is excellent: right in between two metro trains located also remains right on the main street of the Bus to Piccadilly Circus, only a few steps from the Hotel. A chic Breakfast room with a delicious buffet Breakfast, there is a Bar and around-the-clock reception Lobby with courteous staff. In the Hyde Park are also just a few steps to the nearby Princess Diana Memorial Playground, children can romp all ages great.

It is a beautiful Hotel. Nice staff, Clean rooms, not very rich but quite good Breakfast, Central but quiet location and easy to reach with public TRANSPORT. A star deduction but for that, first of all, my bed was totally worn out, and, secondly, the rooms were very noisy and you could almost hear every word from the room neighbors. All in all, everything is okay.

Location … is relatively Central. You can quickly reach you to the metro and many small Restaurants or fast food shops. Food or Breakfast is not delicious but very much selection (there is fresh fruit and croissants but no nutella of any kind and only 2 varieties of jam)

Staff … is very polite and courteous

The room (double room) … is quite small but for London standards normal, but, unfortunately, a thumb is a large open gap at the bottom of the door. However, even without this gap, you can hear the people in the neighboring rooms very well, because here everything is very noisy. The bed is quite hard — but that is exactly my taste, but unfortunately only a large ceiling for 2 persons.

More like budget hotel than luxurious one. Very good location. Easy and quick check in and check out process and they do not require deposit like other hotels. Friendly staff in the reception desk, however they do not have an employees to help guests with their luggage. Quiet and suitable for those who would spend most of their day outside the hotel. The furniture needs to be cleaned or replaced. The chairs cloth had some stains/spots. Good value and price compared to nearby hotels which are very expensive.

The rooms in themselves are good, enough room for two people (but no 1, 80m bed but 1, 40), it's all clean and the staff friendly. The big problem, however, is that the hotel is very noisy and you can listen to the conversations of the neighbors. Any actuation of a light switch, cupboard or other of neighbors can be heard. This makes you doubt your own privacy and can not really sleep well.

Good location and good value for money. The worst breakfast and the unfortunate coffee.

Who lusst on sleepless nights and joy to know when your room neighbors go to the bathroom or shower then this is exactly your hotel.
I think it doesn't deserve the 3 stars.

The room was so small. The staff were nice and housekeeping was great. The breakfast was boring because it was the same menu everyday.

Old Hotel located along Hyde Park, and so conveniently located to explore London for a weekend. On the other hand the benefits are unequal. The rooms are quite small, a little damp (due to a difficult to adjust air conditioning/heating) and not very modern. Nevertheless, everything is clean and comfortable (including bedding) buffet breakfast standard and sufficient. Nice welcome overall.

The room was great. The staff is very friendly and easy to get to the centre by public transport.

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Had a nice meal in the restaurant on the night and had a really good breakfast in the morning. Plenty of selection. The Tube was with in walking distance. I would happily stay there again.

Good place but till you stay or don't bring to notice their incompetent. Charge for every amenities. Also for luggage after checkout for mere 2 hrs too. Male staff compared to ladies are good n helpful. But place is good n nice location.

Very nice hotel. Very nice and kind staff. Some reviewers wrote that the rooms were too small but I would not agree. My room number was 209, a two bed room, and it was just the right size. The bathroom was big enough, too, it even had a bathtub. I have enjoyed my stay and would come back any time. Also, the location is brilliant and you have some very nice pubs around.

Nice, clean, quiet. The room was small but well equipped. Extra blankets and pillows, coffee and courtesy tea.

Just metres from Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. Ideal for an early-morning walk.

In the price-/performance ratio, I would say as far as the above K. On closer inspection, on the other hand, it is noticeable that the service personnel do not think so much with the cleanliness. Breakfast isn't really good and staff feel like they don't like their job. And at the end of the advice, not forgetting the earplugs, felt the London Underground runs quite close under the hotel.

For city breaks where you are only to sleep in the hotel anyway, it is quite enough.
The rooms are small and old-fashioned.
I don't want to say that it's dirty, but as lightning is as little as usual from Germany or Austria, it's not there …
Breakfast was rather bad, the stirring was ready powder and the juice was made of Nem vending machines, nothing really special.
But yes by and large to sleep hats enough!

A very quiet area. Very close to Hyde Park. To a street to be exact.

Great staff, always there to help and knows what they're doing. Our room was nice and cozy, clean and fresh. It had a terrible view but we booked last minute. We only ate at the hotel once (breakfast) but it was good as well. Standard hotel buffet. Good location, Hyde park just around the corner and a couple minutes​ walk to the tube. The Wi-Fi is free but quite crappy.

Equipment: Very well-equipped bar in New York style Very well-stocked restaurant with quite suitable prices for London. The food can convince, but unfortunately the choice is relatively limited.
The rooms are well equipped (refrigerator, coffee bar, bathtub, TV etc. ). A lot of things are executed in a classic, English way, which requires some reaccudification. Unfortunately, this also includes the old windows, which let the noise of London into the room virtually unfiltered. A permanent train can also be felt.
Location: The hotel is located in a very luxurious n area right next to Kensington Garden/Hyde Park. Nightly Underground Station is 400m away, the nearest bus stop even closer.

Located off a main road so there is no traffic noise. Old outdated furniture and decor but very clean and tidy. Walls quite thin but was adequate for a one night business stay.

Comfortable rooms. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Great location. Would stay here again, and highly recommend. Awesome breakfast.

I stayed a week in 1962. It was the best place available. Didn't have much to spend but had a great time. The only place I could get American food. Also had a band at night with dancing. Really a great place. Didn't think it was still there.

Nice hotel in Central London. Always clean rooms with good facilities and nice showers. Slightly thin walls and can hear next doors shower/bath.

This hotel is beautiful and has attentive staff. The restaurant downstairs offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The guest room I stayed in was clean and included AC, a comfortable bed, and bathroom with heated towel rack. Only thing to note is that the room was small (at least compared to hotels in the US), and if I had been staying here long term that would have become an issue. Otherwise, lovely place to stay and very short walk to nearby park.

London is a very interesting city, but this hotel is really disappointing.
I will not recommend this hotel to any friends from Asia or the United States, because the first day of check-in experience is really uncomfortable.
I arrived at the hotel 1:30 P. M. But I had to wait until three o'clock to get my room card.
Three more at the counter to collect the room card, completely did not ask me or confirm the room type; after getting the room card, I found that the front desk manager gave me not a scheduled family room, but a small room with two single beds; immediately after the downstairs reaction, the front desk manager only arranged the folding bed and said that the family room would start tomorrow night. She did not immediately apologize for her negligence.
Later, when the family arrives, can not accept three people must be crowded in the extremely small room, not even spread out the suitcase space, once again the front desk manager response, only fully booked, unable to room the answer, she is only willing to provide the next day free breakfast for all these inconvenient compensation.
In the process of communication, her bad attitude makes people quite uncomfortable, I even feel blamed.
In the hotel's comments, it has been mentioned that they will assign poorer rooms to those who place orders on other booking sites.

Don't get irritated by my photos, the hotel is completely booked and we were not involved in choosing the room. We got placed in the basement where there is a lack of view. The room itself is okay. Although it is a multi purpose room that is also used as a small conference room.

The first room we had was awesome. Comfortable beds, quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. Second stay we were put in a room on the bottom floor. It looks like at one time it was a conference room. That was a horrible room. You could hear everything happening outside the room and above you. The shower was terrible. Do not let them give you room 9995.

The rooms were hard to access directly. You got off the lift then down the hall through the fire doors down some stairs then up some stairs through another set of fire doors the down and up again, down the hall to your room. I'm 65 and had 2 suitcases a backpack and purse to drag up and down. No one offered to carry bags. I called for ice for my swollen legs only to be informed I would have to go to the bar for glasses of ice. The beds were together and made up like a king size, we ordered two double beds. The beds were very uncomfortable, you could feel the individual springs which made grating noises when you moved. Hotel was a long way from everything. There was a pub around the corner but they quit serving food at 10pm. I would never recommend anyone stay here. No help with bags when leaving either. It was 2 balding so down from the best Western which we all know are not very good. The breakfast was substandard from all the other 10 or so hotels we stayed in while visiting England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Better to sleep on the street and take a shower in airport. After 200 hotel visited, I think that is not an hotel but an hostel.

It was my 2nd stay in London — ever. I loved London and I loved this hotel. — I loved the traditional English atmosphere. I loved the proximity to everything — and I especially loved the breakfasts! :-).

This is not a hotel for business travelers. I was just over 20 minutes past the cancellation period due to a meeting and change of plans and they wouldn't cancel the reservation. It is at 12:00p the day of, which is unusual as well, and I called at 12:22p and they would not cut me a break. In addition, I found out the room rate off the street was 70 pounds less than the rate I had been given over the internet. The manager could not care if I ever booked another room — which I won't. The irony of it all was that I was told that they were almost fully booked that night as well. If this is how they treat prospective guests, my sympathies for those who have an issue who are already there.

Stayed here ten days for work. It was Absolutely terrible. Wi-Fi wouldn't work and still cost £5 a day. The food was absolutely inedible. I tried their hamburger and their lasagna, couldn't eat any of them. The staff has limited to no knowledge of the English language, the taxis they will call for you is twice as expensive as a regular one and wont find their way around London. To top of the experience the beds are rock hard and the pillow thin as paper. I have no idea what the other ratings are talking about. Either they are payed by the hotel or it has taken a STEEP dive for the worse lately. Stay far far away from this hotel.

These guys are awesome. Moved me into a. Double room immediately when I told them that my room was too noisy and when they were cleaning my room found my passport under my bed an handed it into reception before I even realised! Awesome.
