Very compact but comfortable enough & well situated for travel all over London. Not a great deal of choice of breakfast, but for the price its ideal for a few days break.

Avoid at all cost! Found bedbugs in my room which I went and told a member of staff which stated they never had that complaint. I told him I wasn't lying so took him to the room and I didn't point out where I had found them, the man soon looked under the pillow furthest away which he found the bedbugs and quickly put it back down! I never told him bed bugs was there so he knew! DIRTY.

Fabulous location and an acceptable price and facilities are good for what you pay.

This hotel is absolutely — 2 stars doesn't even deserve 1 star. Dirty, poor quality. Noisy. The toilet moulded. Walls dirty. They should not even be allowed to have this open. Shame that I paid over £70 for one night. This hotel should be reported to health and safety department.

Hotel well placed but quite dated for some facilities, rather dirty and some personal unkind (kitchen).

It was a dated interior. The john and a shower were all plastic and cracked. Breakfast was nice.

It's a bad experience. No positive response, not even 1%. Sorry to say that. Terrible.

Beautiful to visit without less.

We booked 2 rooms… the decor around the hotel is basic at most. You can tell no money is being spent here at all which is a shame. The rooms are small and no effort has been made to make these rooms nicer in any way. Everything in the room looks like it's been bought in a car boot sale from the 70s. The beds are not comfy at all with world war 1/2 itchy blankets on the bed did not make a comfortable sleep… The bathroom is a wardrobe which is tiny the toilet is in the shower the sink is over the toilet it's awful… it is grim… My partner went for breakfast I decided against and his report was it's as grim as the hotel and he's a truck driver who eats and sleeps all over the country so for him to say it's bad then I know it's bad… Don't get me wrong we didn't pay a fortune but I expected better than this. This hotel to me is a hostel and a grim 1 at that. I would not recommend staying here!

We found ourselves in the basement it smelled like mildew. The vibrations of the subway shook the room. Infernal.

I stayed at this hotel with my fiance on September 2017 and it was a real nightmare. The first night we were given a questionable room with hygienic conditions but with a bit of adaptation we were able to sleep there. The next night (about one and a half) we found our own despite the dead cockroaches inside the sheets. Having no other rooms available to move us to that night, we were transferred to their service room with a single bed (in two! ). On the other the walls of the room vibrated at the subway passage. They reimbursed me only one night of the three planned, although we had left the hotel the next day. An experience not to repeat!

Enjoyed the hotel 40 yrs ago & look forward to a return.

Clean, conveniently located, friendly staff, and breakfast smelled good although I didn't eat there. The rooms are fairly small but functional and very reasonably priced for the area.

It is a good place but there are some mistakes. Obviously gain a 2 what hotel there are some drawbacks, but it is london and why need a room? ☺☺

Stay acceptable if you do not have big claims.

Breakfast is always the same, Croissant, bread and marmalade plus one egg. Nothing more. Bathroom is like 1m2. Nothing special. But location is great.

It's quite nice for the price, but I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. First of all sizes of rooms are really small. 14m2 on their website is calculated with toilet. Forget about shampoo, only towel and soap. Breakfast? One egg, corn flakes and croissant or white bread… Nothing more. No European wall sockets. But over all it's a lovely place with it's climate.

Absolutely dreadfull. Didn't sleep well at all as the bed only had a thin blanket to keep us warm! The room was dusty, dirty and smelled of strong disinfectant! I could barely breathe due to the smell. The breakfast was pitifully yoi could only have fried egg or an omelette with cold toast. Dried and had a croissants. Nothing was fresh either. Would not recommend. Steer clear from this place.

Home away from home. Good n friendly staff.

The room was not bad at all, the beds are comfortable, ideal to stay a night in a place typical of bed and breakfasts.

Nice hotel and great location. Yes the rooms are on the small side but that is normal for London in these types of hotels. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel does seem to be the best one around on the road and all reception staff have been polite and friendly including the cleaners. The location is great. 5 minute walk to Paddington station and Lancaster gate. So easy to get around from this hotel. I will be for sure be looking at staying at this hotel again for my next visit to London.

My Family and I stayed here the first 2 nights of a Year overseas, and still remember it as the worst place we stayed. The stains on the bedding were gross, and the bathroom stank horribly. Also be aware that there are no lifts, and after a long flight, dragging heavy suitcases up the stairs is the only way to get there. The pictures certainly make it appear more tidy and presentable than it really is. On a plus side, it was close to the station and the breakfast room and food was simple but clean and nice.

Guys, a disgrace! In ten minutes we found 4 ticks on the beds, and our claim they laughed in my face! — Small room for anyone who keeps a little to his health.
