I have only spent 1 night here whilst on a school trip. The room I was allocated was (on first glance) tidy and ‘clean’. Fast forward 20 minutes later, and I was down at reception having caught a bed bug, after seeing at least 3 or so before this one. Admitadly, they moved me immediately, but they said they new of the issue. Obviously the hostel has not taken the necessary steps to ensure the problem has been dealt with. I spent the remainder of my stay sat on my bed checking for bugs throughout the night with the torch on my phone. Breakfast was mediocre. Not wanting to sound purposefully negative, however I saw families with small children staying there, and to think they may not be as fortunate as to spot the bugs. Also, now I’m paranoid that I could’ve brought them home with me. All in all… awful experience.

Depressing stay, we were assigned a room on the level 1 with bathroom in the room, this could compete with the cabins that are usually found on the worst ferries. Filth on every side, no willingness to our grievances and not even when we simply asked him for another pillow. The bathroom with a shower with curtain and sink with the classic old separate faucets, was also dirty and decadent. Breakfast included consisted of a choice between hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, soluble coffee, sliced bread on which to smear bad jam. Only positive notes the location near Paddington station and the free luggage storage on the day of check out, otherwise lousy experience.

Stayed here one night. Was clean and friendly staff. Shower was blocked and they fixed it immediately. The breakfast was simple but good. Wish they controlled the buffet style when it came to children (shoving their hands into the communal scoop your own cereal bowls.

The staff were very helpful. On the site it is specified that they speak French but not at all in fact. What to say about the room… small, dilapidated, odory. I'm not even talking about the bathroom, joining a moly bathtub. Bathtub background/washbasin filthy no hand SOAP or shower gel obviously. We were surprised to find toilet paper. Clean sheets it seems to me but in view of the general condition I preferred not to dwell on it. Good to finish we change Hotel tomorrow, we will lose money too bad, but, being French and although poorly reputed for our hygiene, a clean and equipped bathroom is the base. Of course I did not talk about the wires during, black walls of filth and TV outlets without TV in the room… Ah and the Wi-Fi does not work.

I have limited expertise with hostels. This one is functional and in a practical location, not far from the underground transportation. It feels very much like a old college dormitory. Lots of people come through here at all hours of the night so high probability of you being woken up, but that is the nature of a hostel. Had a few issues with the shower drain and water pressure. Overall I don’t think the quality matches the price, even with the convenience of location. If you find a good price and just need a place to crash, this is a fine and safe place. Breakfast is included, cereal, toast, boiled egg, coffe/tea.

It's a hostel! … If you don't want to give up the comforts of the hotel… But If you have to visit London "all day long" and you need a place to sleep and have breakfast… Saving… Then It's a good choice!

The location of the hostel is Excellent. Nice and helpful Staff Breakfast But sin in cleanliness.

Very, very bad accommodation. The room equipment doesn't correspond to the pictures at all. No night lamps, no table, no wardrobe/chest of drawrs, nowhere to hang the jacket. Floor stained. Bathtub stained. No TV or internal phone to connect to ther reception, one must use their cell phone. Very noisy. One can hear everything from other rooms. People going in and out, walling in their rooms, taking showers, doors slamming. Haven't got any sleep at all. Noise from the street. Never ever going back to this hole.

The bathroom is really limited and very humid. There is little aeration and mildew. The water's leaking. That's too bad. We even had a person who entered the room by mistake in the middle of the night. The rest of the room is OK. Spacious and decent.

Very disappointed! Miniature shower with curtain that sticks to you, the water goes from warm to cold and floods the bathroom, breakfast very minimalistic, the room rooms do not make the bed and does not change the bath sheets.
EU plug adaptor sold at home there are no plans.

The hotel is noisy, the room is degueulasse, the breakfast is disgusting, the bathroom is degueulasse, and in addition we caught bedbugs.
On the other hand the hotel is well located.

Horror. All the furniture is falling apart. Cranes as in "Soviet times". The staircase is very narrow and the elevator does not work. The Wifi is terrible or not catching. The breakfast was very good. Give only: bread, drinks, muesli, eggs and yogurt.

I have not been in such a bad hotel/hostel for a long time. I'm doing hard to find positives. Good thing was that it is really very central and reasonably ok from the price. There was a kettle in the room with tea and cups. However, you should not expect any more for the price.
The hostel has very narrow rooms and hallways. You have to hiefen your luggage up and down the stairs. I didn't dare to hold on to the railing, because it was pretty glued.
Through my bathroom ran an ant road, which must have felt very well in crevices and under the carpet.
The bathroom is totally whitewashed and dirty. I was also unsure how to mix cold and hot water when there is no mixer battery. There was no stopper anyway.
The furniture is really old and partially damaged… the walls were anything but white.
The bed was fine and seemed cleanest of all.
"Breakfast" If you like to call it that, there is in the basement. Here there is really only the bare necessities (toast, jam, butter, cornflakes with milk, soda, tea and coffee).
Luckily it was only one night. I probably wouldn't have endured much longer.

Dilapidated building, small dirty and cramped rooms, unclassifiable bathroom, indecent beds and not redone, is the first "accommodation" where the shampoo and bubble bath are paid what absolutely impossible, poor breakfast without any kind of service and Assistance and the cleaning at the table is entrusted to the customer; The worst place ever to stay; Strongly discouraged and a star for this place is highly generous.

Such a bad experience. Room on 5th floor but lift was out of service. I brought my luggage up thought a extremely narrow staircase which I wondered it is not regulated. No Wi-Fi in room, no shampoo/ bath gel. No ventilation, fortunately we stayed there in winter time. The bathing hot water is not stable. One thing that I satisfied was the bed and toilet were generally clean. Did have a good sleep after all.

Cheap for London I’m sure but not cheap for a hostel. The location is just good enough for our needs. Just grimy really. Staff are nice enough but the whole place is just grotty with peeling paint and scuffed everything and the “inclusive breakfast” was literally one broken toaster with white bread and choice of 3 budget cereals. Literally just the minimum so they can brag about providing breakfast on the website. Avoid.

Carisimo, dirty, They charge you for everything, nothing advisable. Small room, dwarf bathroom with pre-wwii facilities, no TV and very very poor breakfast in plastic bowls. Not recommended.

Simple but clean and good breakfast. Well located.

It's maybe the cheapest location close to London center. Within a few minutes of walking you can get to Hyde Park and if you're in mood for walking, in less than two hours you can get easily to Buckingham Palace or any of the other central atractions. On the way you have plenty of museums to visit and a very good feeling of this busy city. Besides the price, the location is not the most delightful. The staff is nice, but then you get into the screeching elevator, that will bring you to your room, that smells like dust and old. The carpet is pretty worn and the bathroom appliances could use an update. Long story short: if I'd drop something on the floor I would wash it first and I won't walk bare foot. The beds are both normal and bunked, not the most comfortable, a little noisy and the matresses smell like dust. Most likely they would require changing or a more often sanitation. In the end I decided to give it 4 stars, as if you want a cheap location to sleep only and close to Center when visiting London this is ideal.

I was bitten by bed bugs in over 50 places, I did not sleep all night. I had to take care of it when I went with the leadership and shrugged. I should have sued them.

Amazing 4 day stay at EquityPoint!
They were sensitive to our plan to organize a journey in complete autonomy! They have been listening to our expectations, our budget. Their responsiveness is one of their strong point, not to mention the dynamism of the staff encountered during our stay. The charm of this hostel lies in its simplicity and its friendly colors giving unrivalled comfort and good to live.
The follow-up from the request for quotation until the finalisation of the payment went very well despite the language barrier.

A small hotel/hostel basically for students. The only thing to note is that the shower is very small, too.
Good value for money. Simple and normal services. Self-service breakfast.

My partner lost her jewellery in the room as it was stolen by one of the roommates, we placed a complaint over immediately and the staff members said it is our problem not theirs and so it is our fault! My girlfriend was shoved into a corner, she hardly had any space to move around as the place is so low life that we wouldn't even have used it for our pets, let alone for humans. It is over priced in comparison to other hostels/hotels in London in far more better and safer areas, not in a council estate area as the whole Paddington area where it is full of drug addicts and criminals! Both of us were also beaten all across our body by bed bugs that the bites became HEAVILY INFECTED. We are considering to file a lawsuit against the premises also for having Antisemite behaviour and statements issued against us!

We were on a 5 floor with a baby and broke the elevator… Commenting the girl at the reception was not very professional… A childish reaction out of place. Otherwise, what is expected from a hostel.

Very nice hotel, very friendly staff and always helpful.
Comfortable beds, clean rooms and bathroom. At breakfast there is toast with butter jams, honey cheese and eggs. Cereals and milk in quantity, coffee tea and fruit juices. All very good.
I would return also because it is really close to Paddington station.
To be a hostel has far exceeded our expectations.

For the price and the top location really a great hostel, however, the shower curtain, the mirror and the bathroom ceiling has molded. The room itself was fine but in the years come. Breakfast was ok for an English hostel, coffee was bought at the nearest coffee shop.

We visited this terrible place in September, where I should start. We wouldn't expecting much but at least some level of comfort and cleanness. The Room was equipment with old steel beds, bathroom was tiny and dirty. Breakfast was a pure catastrophe. Avoid this place at all costs!

Friendly staff, decent breakfast, but the condition of the room and the bathroom is very average.

A star because less can not. Dirty, dirty, very dirty. Dirty Sheets, towels as well. The photos are really totally different from reality. Breakfast a pittance, just bread and cereal! Really Overheated, we had to call the guy to have it shut down manually! Ok for the location.

I am very happy that my body is still alive when I wake up, and I highly recommed that if you want to exprience sick, unhappy, dirty, rude, silly… this is a place that you cant lose it.

I never saw a hotel as bad really I would not advise, the lift I felt that at any time it was going to stop. The bed room had to be changed mattress including view that it had a leak to the ceiling and the bed was all wet, the bathroom a horror without comment, dirty carpeting, and not that in our room, that of our children alike they had to come showered in the At our broken shower cars, breakfast is better. Even the location I find as even a bit far for the price a bit expensive. Do not get caught by the pictures cars it has nothing in real. Despite this, our stay in London is good.

Advise your friends do not stay, cheap not only good goods, but also be stolen. All the things in an important folder I put in the house were stolen by them, but they all said they had never seen it and lost a few nights ' lodging. In addition to extreme insecurity, all the facilities are disgusting, there are even hairs on the sheets, and the staff-especially an inarticulate female receptionist-are disgusted with the extreme attitude. And the sound insulation is very bad, next to the slightest movement can hear. Bathing facilities are seen as the worst, and hygiene is not guaranteed at all. As for breakfast, you can take the food that should be in the room and put it in the breakfast-a very cunning transposition.

Beautiful place at 5 minutes from the most beautiful places but as a structure… Let's forget the worst place to stay, average price high staff at hand and also speak Italian. If you do not have claims and in a great location to visit the city.

The location is the only good thing about this place. The room is disgusting and poorly maintained, and the bathroom is tiny (which wouldn't be a problem if it was clean) The pictures online are misleading at best, and downright lies at worst. I could put up with all of that if it was at least cheap. There are plenty of nicer places for the same or a little bit more. Stay there instead.

It's exactly what you expect for a hostel that price, rooms were fine had lockers in which were handy (bring your own padlock). Breakfast was a bit lacking but I guess can't complain too much. Couple minutes walk to Hyde Park and to Paddington tube station so good location.

Location is really good with good connectivity to bus and tube. Room rates are reasonable and free breakfast fast is Cherry on top (even though not great but it was good). Toiletries and addition blankets are playable not free hence it's better to carry your own. One needs to carry own lock for private lockers. Locks are charged also. No free water. Can be bought from bar below.

Although just didn't lift and host me in the 7th floor enjoy each moment hospedandome here, staff helpful, good location near metro station, recommended.

Them rooms are very dirty, with them cabinets broken, all very old, the bathroom small and dirty, soil of carpet with spots, remains of bottles and shoes of previous customers, bad smell in them rooms and areas common. A service person called the doors of the rooms to tell who is not allowed to speak in the rooms.
Breakfast very poor, only milk and toast, of low quality.
Amount too high by a deplorable accommodation.

Without a doubt one of the best hostels where I have been, good location, relatively inexpensive, and the breakfast is great.

Rooms were rubbish hair dryer went red and started to smoke showers were crap the shower was just a little ball and kept going hot and cold bunk beds had no ladders to get on the top very DANGEROUS Wi-Fi isn't free you have to pay three pound I wouldn't recommend this at all.

Nice price but the quality its very bad. I was in Marrakech and Lisbon Equity Point and was absoluty diferent then this. The breakfast is nice but its a small space. Wifi only work in public spaces and you have to pay if you want Wi-Fi in your room, its 1£ per day and person.

The hostel is close to Paddington which is very practical. 4-bed room was clean but "small". The hostel is close to Paddington, which is very practical. The location and the view from the rooms was nice. Beds were noisy (creating noise whenever one turns around). Hostel seemed to be very secure and tidy. Breakfast (toast, simple cerials, yoghurt etc. ) and snacks were basic but okay. One star less because the cab which was booked by the hostel was not an official one and cheated with the fare.

The London Hostel is the most shitty hostel I've ever experienced. Almost everything was forbidden. It was forbidden to eat and drink in the rooms. They had a rule that there should be silent after 11 pm, but we got a warning of being noisy even though it wasn't after 11 pm. There were bugs in the walls and beds. They took our deposit without any reason. At any cost, STAY AWAY from this hostel!

Spend one night in the hostel in the 8 bed room. It was all ok. In relation to the price it's really good. Breakfast was all ok to. And the service was great.

Nice beds, a little awkward with the shared toilet in the room, would have been great if there were more showers so you didnt have to wait for the other seven roommates to leave the bathroom. The breakfast was boring, no veggies only bread, cereal and milk. Expensive Wi-Fi. Besides that, the pricing, the beds and the location was wonderful and definately saved the grade! If you're looking for a cheap place to stay and does'nt care about the whole bathroomsituation this is the place to go to.

Best Hostel I stayed at in London so far — by a long shot! We arrived in the morning after a sleepless night due to our flight arriving at 2 am. Our room wasn't ready, of course, but we were offered free breakfast unasked and were even allowed to get some sleep in the community area! Cancled our Hostel for the next night and the staff even moved around the rooms, so we could continue staying in the same room over two nights, even though they didn't have to! (Oh and that all happened at New Years Eve, btw).

This is a very convenient hostel in a nice neighborhood. The shared bathroom in the room is a little awkward, but otherwise everything was nice. There are some convenient pubs and restaurants nearby, and its very close to Paddington station. It would great if they would add fruit to the breakfast, which mostly consists of cereal and bread.

1. NO free Wi-Fi even in the public area, you have to pay 3 Pound per day allowing ONLY one device to access during that period, not at the same time but throughout the whole stay. I did pay for Wi-Fi without choice, unbelievablely I spent at least more than15 min to login with the provided serial No. And pin code. Due to the recurring same technical problem of long latency time of conection. After that, this problem also affect you to normally browse the website like Youtube.
2. The bed is designed very poor without a proper ladder for the upper one.
3. Too expensive, it cost me 42 pound for a night sleeping in a 8 bed room
4. The space for 8 bed room is quite small， the room according to its layout was transformed from a ordinary hotel room. You can imagine how tidy it is when accomadating 4 beds and 8 persons
5. No ventilating facility in the room. Too much CO2 from 8 persons will make you uncomfortable and sweaty.

It was my first hostel on my first day in London, I experienced little but from what I saw I can say that everything is normal. I paid 24 PDR guns for one night in a room by 6 people.
The bathroom was small but private private room better than shared with the whole plan.
Positive characteristic is breakfast included jams, hot tea, hot milk, bread to be heated. The location is not very central but not far away, the underground station is paddington then 6 stops from Piccadilly.
The area is very nice and quiet, the night you can sleep quietly, if you're lucky enough not to find a roommate who snores:).

I was staying in London with a friend and need a cheap place to stay, especially since I got stuck there during the volcano situation! This place was very nice and VERY CLEAN! The outside looks really fancy compared to all other hostels I've been to. I stayed in a 7 bed dorm with 2 bathrooms. It had a beautiful floor to cieling french door window that lead out to a balcony (we couldn't access it but it was really pretty to look at! ) and the room had 5 beds dowstairs and 2 beds up in a loft area! Very neato! The cleaning lady came every morning to deap clean both of our bathrooms. The staff were very nice and helped me since I was stuck for another week! They are doing construction but you can tell it will be GREAT! I do have to complain that you have to pay for internet. I think that's stupid :oP.
