Terrible experience — hotel location is terrible, breakfast is worse. Suspect my credit card got skimmed during check-in… do not go there.

I had a basement room which was pretty bleak due to the lack of windows, but the room was well equipped and comfortable enough. The location is convenient for the tube but is hardly the most salubrious area of London! Would also benefit from better dining facilities.

Thinking it was a cheap and good location to stay for a week… I was Wrong… the room I stayed was so noisy I couldn't even sleep. The toliet and the washsink was blocked for 2_3 days… no one care to check it out. Fire alarm was on twice in 3 days… the people next room said they will ever return again… even it is free… Run fast…

Good prices for v tiny room and one person fit in that room only good. Polite, something mes annoying stuff downstairs. Cleaner seems doesn’t understand English when breaking your door in the morning. Close to station and police station too close. No parking.

Good price. Close to tube. New refurbished rooms just v small. Closing doors for the night what is strange.

Good location although not obvious that it was a hotel. Looked more like a coffee bar than a hotel reception. Had to ask for a room with a window as we were initially given a tiny toon behind reception with no window. The 2nd room was fairly nice and comfortable.

Unfortunately the hotel was poorly signposted and therefore difficult to find. The room was dirty and unkept with a damaged sofa And bedside cabinet, hair in the bed and shower tray, blood stains on the sheets and pillows, things splashed up the door to the bathroom and faulty electrics on two different units. When I raised this with a male staff member he told me he was 'just staff' and to raise it later!

Small rooms. Small hotel. Light breakfast. But fresh rooms. Friendly staff. All you need. And super close to a great coffee. Only downside… a lot of traffic and noise from the street. But you shouldn't complain about that in a city like London if you live 10 minutes by foot from Marble Arch.

Very close to the station, very neat and the personnel is very helpful. Downside: the rooms are very small.

Really disappointed, I had booked this 4-star hotel for a weekend in London. The room we had is tiny, no windows, hardly room to move. Full of flies in the room. After an hour of talking to the receptionist we had another room but of course without heating. In the middle of the month of November, the room was frozen. Impossible to stay in this room but the hotel did not want to give us another. We spent one night atrocious, this is only the next morning that they thought we install an electric heater. Finally to finish off : the last days, more electricity! Very bad experience, I don bous recommend it-obviously not! Room reasonable size no windows. Cobwebs in room ceiling corners. Some dangling bare wires to lighting. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast poor choice of toast with biscuits etc.

A just horrible place: booking by E-Booker: The room had suffered water damage (presence of mildew on the ceiling and wall).
Toilets not washed since… surely the creation of toilets…
Folded napkins to give a style but once unfolded, they are far from being in the image it gave (impression of unwashed but just dried).
A manager who did not want to give us another room, and who played the wrong times with Ebooker not wanting to take charge of a rehousing… Ebooker did not want to relocate us (loss of 3 on the phone to finally hear this answer…)
I hope you will not make the same mistake as us… Loss of an afternoon to relocate (for a weekend of 3 days…).
Pity that the 0 stars does not exist…

This should not be called an "inn" or "hotel. " It did not have the best service, did not provide any towels, or good showers. Will not be coming back again!

Terrible hotel without accessible rooms or entrance. Completely miss-sold the room and the manager is still waiting to get back to us… despite it being 2 months ago.

Nice place to stay for one night. Especially if on a budget!

My partner and I were in London to see a well known Australian blogger at the Cockpit theatre and we were looking for somewhere to kill some time, have lunch and a drink. We happened to come across this cafe and decided to try it. Overall we were really please with the service, food and drinks. If we are ever in the Edgware Road area again, we will be going back to this cafe.

Tiny rooms in poor condition, no cooked breakfast, noisy, room had no window. Wouldn't use again.

Just don't. We arrived at 10:45pm on a Saturday night to be told they had given our room to someone else. They advised they had a room for us at another hotel and that they would cover the cost of a taxi. Asking us if this was okay, we didn't really have an option as we had no mobile/ data service having come from Switzerland that day. The hotel they had arranged was in Wembley which was a 30 min taxi ride to somewhere we knew nothing about and had no Wi-Fi. So unless you want to turn up and discover you don't have a room, stay elsewhere.

Not too bad but don't expect a fancy place. During the check in I ask "is this a quite place? " And the reply was "I can't tell you because I don't like this neighbours and that is not my kind of place". Absolutely a wierd reply from the hotel concierge. Don't you think the same? I don't recomend this hotel / guest house.

This has had a bad press, it's better than that. Rooms are clean & modern. Breakfast IS continental, but ask for toast if that bothers you. Wifi is good. It's unconventional, but I liked it. I'll never eat cucumbers & red pepper for breakfast, but I wouldn't be disappointed to stay here again. For the price in London, this is very good.

This is poor — I was only offered a basement room with no window. When I asked to change I was told they didn't have any with windows! Room was overly warm and stuffy. Avoid.

I can only speak to the room itself since I didn't use any other amenities. My single room was small but I liked it because it was a very efficient use of space. They had touch pad controls on the wall and one next to the bed that basically controlled the whole room. Everything was clean and the staff was helpful friendly and professional.

Good location. The rooms are not big. But it's all in electronics. Purely. It's all for people. The reception is very nice. But it's a long way from the main world of London.

Room was very small but clean and well appointed. Staff in reception were very friendly and helpful. I walked past this place three times because it doesn't have a best western logo anywhere in sight and looks like a coffee shop from the outside.

Cheap price comes with very poor service. Sheets hadn't been washed (had dirt in them), no pillowcases, and ants were all over the room. Strange stains everywhere as well.

Kind welcome, very friendly and helpful people at the reception. Low price good room. Very small room but clean and functional. Quiet place to stay. Big disappointment: website mentions and shows bar/lounge and restaurant. This was particularly one of the reasons I chose this hotel. THERE IS NO BAR AT ALL, AND NO RESTAURANT! Staff told me it ùsed to be there but it's not there anymore. They could just serve me a drink at the corner of the (small) reception desk, but that doesn't come close to having a 'bar'. Please do not advertise with a bar and restaurant if it isn't there.

Booking confirmed the reservation and Hotel No! We waited 40 minutes to do that in 3.00di morning and then very small rooms and not as clean as you should!
One thing to be careful about disappear the little things when they do room cleaning!

Excellent hotel near Paddington. This was my first time, and I received an excellent rate. My courtyard room was recently renovated and was very high tech. Sylvia on the front desk was super-friendly, and I very much liked the atmosphere of the place. The only slight flaw was that there were low level "machine noises" — a sort of humming or electrical sound in the room from nearby equipment. It was there, but I slept well anyway. I will definitely be staying there again.

Small rooms and too many noises every evening I heard people laughing and screaming until morning so I started hearing vomiting and toilet noise. The coffee terrace is dirty. Breakfast not terrible.
Too expensive for service.

Nice hotel, not too fancy, but very solid. Prices are a bit too high, but a very good district.

Checked into hotel and staff were friendly but hard to communicate with them. The Wi-Fi access code they kept giving us was saying limit exceeded so it took ages for the manager to sort the problem and he kept saying it had never happened before so must be something wrong with my iPad and then later I found out other people had the same problem. View from room was disgusting and room was so small you could barely move in it. Toilet didn't flush properly and the shower leaks and there was no way to open the bathroom door from the inside. Was clean but well overpriced and over rated for what you get. Will think twice about booking a Best Western again.

Staff did not understand us english was not the first language with all the staff un helpful and rude, took several attempts to order a taxi, room small and had a funny smell, booked with breakfast but they said we hadn't and wanted to charge we declined as we ate at the adjoining restuarant Ratkins which was disgusting, my so called steak came with several black hairs, I'm blonde! I sent it back and said I didn't want anything else due to what I'd already been served! The waitress taking our order did not understand English and took forever to get us a drink, the staff did not care about us they were rude and ignorant, the one waitress came and apologised for the hairs in my food and said it was her fault she thought, she was ginger so told her I don't think so! My friend also had the steak which cost 13 99 was disgusting it looked like a 50 pence piece of meat you wouldn't serve your pet! The whole experience at this place was awful and I would advise everyone to avoid avoid avoid!

I'd booked this hotel so that I could treat my partner to a city break for his Birthday. We checked in late one evening to be told that our room had been double booked. On showing us to a room (because the key card system was also broke) we entered the room to find someone was already in there! The receptionist moved us to the only other room they had. The room was actually barely bigger than the bed. No apology made, no offer of refund. The next day the reception staff put us into the room I booked but made no attempt to offer any sort of offer to upgrade or refund. The room was nicer but was generally not kept to a high standard (dusty, no mattress protectors etc). The whole experience left me unimpressed.

Very close to Kilburn tube station. Rooms are teeny tiny but clean and well maintained. Staff are great and extremely helpful in dealing with the dietary requirements of one of our group (coeliac). Would stay here again :)

Don't pay by credit card these people are nothing short then crooks I paid my bill using my card and now every month they deduct the same amount.

The elevator did not work or thought to fix the breakfast included very poor nothing to do with the famous English breakfasts. Cleanliness of the room okay.

Very good hotel, close to a metro station, with shops and restaurants in the vicinity.

Staff very rude and unfriendly. Lady got shocked when she realised we were a gay couple sleeping together… Shocking. Toilet door broken, and heavy as f# couldn't close it or use it without having those smells coming inside the room. Got a room close to a traffic light so we couldn't sleep with the beeping noise all nigh! Bed was hard and soooo uncomfortable. I had to sleep on the floor, found ir more comfortable than the bed. Linen was dirty and didn't look fresh. Overall a terrifying, gross, excruciatingly bad horrible experience I've ever had in a hotel. do not stay there. Not worth it.
