Reviews of easyHotel Victoria 2*
£210 for a box room! Advertises there’s a tv… (that doesn’t work) staff unhelpful and completely clueless! Please people NEVER stay in one of these s**tholes!
Arrival in June 2020 impossible due to Covid, the request for refund or partial refund was rudely refused at first, in the telephone conversation on the day of the planned arrival it was agreed to change the booking to June 2021, which could not take place, again due to covid. Now the hotel is apparently closed and I feel cheated out of 211 euros. I will never book this hotel again and can only recommend the same to everyone.
The only advantage of this hotel is the central location, next to Victoria Station and maybe the price, all other reviews speak of things that you would rather not find in a hotel room:
Dirty, old, broken, bugs.
Rooms are compact but clean. Very good value for money. Hotel is in a lovely area and close to rail and underground station. Very helpful when I checked in today. This is my second stay here and I would most definitely stay here again.
Shocking customer service… no refunds and no answering correspondence.
Turning away a key worker!, after the lady had PRE BOOKED! whilst working away from home and refusing a refund, discusting!
It’s a nice hotel with different selection of room and it’s clean and comfortable… most of all the staff are friendly and helpful.
Worst ever. Had to check out an hour later from checking in. Mould on bathroom ceilings, pipes got plaster stuff over them, door jammed, locks not on properly, carpet taped down, dim lighting and generally just a grim room. I’ve contact the management team three times with no answer. Contacted the manager directly and he’s ignoring me. Such poor customer service. I won’t be dropping this issue. I’ve got to wait a few weeks before a resolved company gets involved.
Great price. Small rooms could do with a shelf or use under bed to put bags.
We had with my boyfriend the bad luck of getting there but we were not even two hours inside, the rooms are really dirty, dark and smell like sewer, the shower soap I really don't know that it was because it smelled rotten, the edges of the windows and the walls completely with mold / mildew, the TV supported it with toilet paper about an electrical outlet, really unsafe! When we reported to the concierge spoke very bad way being aggressive verbally and physically by throwing expletives in his native language (I think it was India) so practically we ran the place. And to finish, are not reimbursed the amounts paid, a true displeasure of our vacation, the worst!
Disgusting dirty dark nothing like the photo. You pay five pounds for internet. It looks like nothing has been refurbished since the Victorian times. Never book this hotel it's a less than one star. On the positive the staff are polite and it's a great location. There are much cleaner and better places to stay here don't book this hotel. My 8 year old granddaughter cried when she saw the room.
Could this possibly be THE ABSOLUTE Worst hotel in Britain? Make your vote count! I was a late check in on a last minute booking, met at the door by a sour faced man, eventually got into what was laughingly called reception, no help offered with my luggage (given there's no lift). After playing with the door, found the lock was actually broken, I looked into a baking ly hot, dingy room with outdated decor and a single formaica coated dresser with half the formaica peeled off. Before going to bed I had to fix both the shower and the toilet. I don't know what the stains are on the carpet, I couldnt see in the morning as the windows were soot black, as well as the seals literally falling off the frames. Take a walk down the dingy stairways to escape this semi-modern hell and you can see that nothings been painted in YEARS. The state of the place was SO BAD. A dare not eat the breakfast. No idea how the kitchens would be run! If this were my home, I'd be truly embarrassed to hVe people over even for a coffee,
You literally get a bed (shoved in a corner and only accessible from one side) and a tiny pod of a bathroom. That's it! Had to stand partly in the shower tray to access the sink. Two hooks for clothes so nowhere to hang anything properly. Nowhere to put any belongings except the (wipe clean) floor. My room had a window, can't imagine what a windowless room would be like. Very noisy. Good location near Victoria Station. Friendly staff.
This hotel is the worst I have ever had the misfortune to step foot in. The rooms are tiny. I paid extra for a window. It's a door onto a small balcony on the fist floor overlooking a busy main road. It also has single glazing so there is absolutely no chance of me getting any sleep tonight. It also has a flimsy lock Sonu feel really unsafe. I had to do my ironing in a corridor with nowhere to hang anything so had to put it on a dirty carpet. Apparently you need to be on CCTV doing your ironing for safety reasons. The beds are a wooden block with a mattress on. The bathroom is a tiny pod. I guess at least you can shower while you are on the toilet. It's also boiling hot. With an early check in and a window I paid £89. If I'd known what it was like I wouldn't even pay £10 for a dog to stay here. the only decent thing is the poor receptionist is polite.
I came with my wife for 4 nights at the Victoria easyHotel. The room is extremely small, there is literally no room to move around. The shower and the toilet are too close to each other and not as shown in the Photos at Booking.
In addition to all of that, even though the hotel claims to have an air conditioner — you’ll need to physically go to the reception and ask them to turn it on — but the air conditioner is simply not working. We moved 2 rooms and in either one of them the air conditioner didn’t work, so the staff gave us a Fan. It’s a simply awful ‘hotel’, the bed isn’t comfortable, the key didn’t work few times and the place doesn’t have any elevator so if you’re staying on the 3rds floor — make sure you don’t have heavy bags. Doesn’t worth it’s price or any price, not even the lowest one.
Filthy hotel, rude staff, it’s a joke to call it a hotel as it’s honestly not even worthy enough to call a hostel. Carpets stained, broken windows. They put me on top floor after I told them 4 months ago when booking I’m disabled and can’t do stairs. Honestly this place needs to be closed down. Avoid at all costs.
Great hotel with Fabulous staff, I have just left with my family after 2 days. The hotel is basic but spotless clean and the staff can't do enough for you, will deff stay again if I return to London.
Hotel is filthy dirty! Rooms and bathrooms are disgusting …
when we complained they brushed it off.
This hotel does not meet fire safety regulations. During a fire alarm which was a fault, the staff never cleared guests to the designated fire assembly point and then never even spoke to us. When the alarm was over, no one even asked us to make our way back in. No fire procedures to do with guests was adhered to. After the event, no manager was present at the times I was at the hotel to resolve and since the hotel refuse to take any ownership and keep expressing how they followed protocol, which they may have done regarding paperwork but they didn’t regarding guest care. I have since complained to head office who also refuse to accept any responsibility for their unsafe hotel. If this had been a real fire, this could have been a very drastic ending. Stay safe everyone.
Not really sure what I feel about this hotel. I was there for three nights, which is the absolute max I think you could stay here. I would stay here again, but only for one night. I don't particularly agree with the flat rate for the room and pretty much anything you can think of being a chargeable extra, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. It's fine if you are there to sleep and then be out all day, but even at that the room was very small and very noisy. EDIT: upon reading this again, I thought I should clarify that our room was noisy because we had a window room that faced the street. The rest of the hotel wasn't noisy per se. It was mainly traffic noise.
A small friendly hotel. Rooms are bit cramped but then its same for all London hotels of this size. Quite close to Metro and Tube. Restaurants are all in walking distance and they serve variety of foods. Special appreciation for the owner who is an Indian. He goes extra mile to ensure comfort of guests and always available for any guidance or requirement.
A filth and moldy dive, with rude receptionists. The room smelled like dirty blankets and sheets. I can't rethink the bathroom conditions. Absolutely free of minimal sanitation requirements. We left, but they didn't want to refund anything.
Basic is an understatement.
Dirty hotel. Dirty bathrooms… hair in basin and in shower cubicle, filthy shower screen. Soap dispenser and shower gel looked like they’d been there for years, obviously don’t get replaced for each guest. Half used toilet roll left on holder. Mould on walls/ceiling. Towels looked dirty and had suspicious stains on them. Carpets were dirty and tatty. One of the windows was nailed shut in the bedroom, and the woodwork was rotting and paintwork all crumbling off. Continental breakfast was warm bread (supposedly toast) and cereal.
Would never return… basic I can cope with but one still expects it to be clean.
Thank god I was only there 1 night and left at 8am in the morning after not sleeping a wink as was too scared to see what state the bed was in underneath the top cover.
If I could rate this hotel a 0 I would. I honestly have no words! Stayed here because the location was good for the underground etc, and had an event at Westminster so was a short walk. As for the hotel itself, it was basic which is fine — the staff didn't wanna give you the time of day, no manners at all. The room we stayed in was the size of a box room/ an isolation cell in prison with a caravan bathroom attached — 2 people could NOT comfortably get ready in there, so one o…f us had to take to the hallway for some space. No window in our room, and so in the middle of the current heatwave it was soooo hot. We had to crack the door open for some air. I think it's disgusting because the amount of money we paid for the room and the service etc we recieved is just awful. I don't wanna step foot near the place ever again, never mind stay there haha! I can't even put into words.
Good location. Rooms are terrible no windows small and no air flow terrible in summer. And if your on lower floor you will hear the london underground.
You get what you pay for. This is not a top end hotel. Rooms are small and basic. But more than suitable for a short stay. Bed very comfortable. Service was good. I would stay again for one night stays.
The rooms are small and functional. It's in a good location for central London and very reasonably priced. The only complaint I would have is that the rooms can be a little bit too warm in hot weather, even with air-conditioning.
Well, the redeeming features are that it is very cheap and near the station. Otherwise the rooms, especially the deep underground ones, are incredibly small — no! Even smaller than you are thinking! They are also very hot and you are likely to be disturbed by underground trains traveling near you, but they stop at night because obviously the best city in Europe should not have a 24 hour mass transit system… So no luxury, but if you need a cheap night before you have to set of on the Gatwick Express first thing, why not?
Fine to rest your head as a brief base on your trip the rooms are very compact. Clean, staff helpful and freindly it is a fantastic location for all attractions.
Do not stay here, I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE. Sadly my girlfriend and I did not read the reviews before booking. We knew it wouldn't be the best hotel ever but we could never have imagined how bad it really was. Moldy bathroom, stained towels and bed sheets, felt incredibly unsafe. When you walk outside the hotel you're supposed to leave your key at the reception, when you get back you simply say your room number, didn't seem like the hotel management had a clue about what they were doing and anyone could probably get the key to any room. Stay somewhere else, do yourself the favour of spending a little bit extra on a room you can actually feel somewhat comfortable in.
Good location and good price. Small room with window. The bed is very comfortable. Shower very small, a little uncomfortable in the shower.
Good cost-benefit relation, excellent service! And very centric. The rooms are very small but that’s what you are paying for! And you are in London! Why would you stay in the hotel instead of visiting this amazing city?
If you're not staying for to long, it's not too bad. The rooms were cleaned every day. Very close to public transport. However, the bathrooms were awful. For breakfast we got toast with jam and corn flakes only. The staff is not very kind. For baggage storage it costs £2 per bag. Would not recommend if you're staying more than 2 nights.
Location is the only redeeming feature… Unfortunately the hotel is very run down, and more importantly dirty. Bed linen, pillows, towels all stained and bad smelling. Shower curtain, in what is an absolutely tiny shower space, was dirty, and not installed properly, so clings to you when attempting to shower. Room was on the third floor, stairs were too narrow for a large bag. I ended up buying a sleeping bag and pillows just so that I could sleep. "Breakfast" consisted of cereal with coffee, in dirty cups. Avoid at all costs.
Upon arrival the reception area was very tidy, and staff pleasant. Immediately asked if we wanted to upgrade for an extra £30 (discounted rate so he said). Politely refused… whilst waiting, a group of Americans (mother and 4 daughters) were informed that they would have to pay an extra £75 as it's illegal to have 5 people in a 4 bedroom room… maybe so BUT he took the booking so he was aware… underhand tactics me thinks! Rooms disgusting… but bearable for overnight use only. Fittings in a very poor state of repair… place like a Warren. … would hate to think of trying to get out in the event of a fire etc. Please please heed this review and avoid at all costs.
Bathroom so small that it was difficult to move. Very small room if a coat hanger or a piece of furniture where you put some personal items. We have been five nights, and we have not been able to get the clothes out of the suitcase, not having where to put it. In the five days have not cleaned the room, even once. Nefarious. I don't recommend it.
Slechte service, onhygienisch, vlekken op vloer en plafond, douch stopt na enkele minuten, geen water meer. Kan niet keren in wc. Krakend bed, versleten matras. Schimmel in kozijnen. Stinkende gangen. En zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan.
Very good location, Victoria Couch Station just around the corner, very close everywhere, many small bars and restaurants, food markets ect.
**Hotel, very simple, very old, not really clean I mean carpets, windows ect but my bed was comfortable and my bad and towell was changed even I spend there only two days. Small things like instant coffee, sugar and tea, TV are working. Breakfast is simple but this simple cofee, jam, butter and muesli were tasty and enough.
For me was ok, not nice but ok. London is expensive and this place is good compromise — very ugly but ok.
Horrible, parts of the bathroom rotting because of the humidity, breakfast very simple, TV that fails, for the Wi-Fi they pay 5 pounds per day and it is slow. Maybe the only good thing is the location.
Not from the impression of a clean place, the double room I had I was very small. We don't talk about the bathroom. It's going to be 1.5 meters x 0.5 meters. Small towel full of yellow stains… that sucks! Carpet full of polvete… Thank goodness we were just about to sleep! With the same Money C is sure better.
I put a star by not putting zero, old hotel, musty and tiny. There is No elevator, we had to climb up 3 floors with luggage. There is to pay for everything, including the Wi-Fi and leave the suitcases. Bathroom tiny, one metre square if comes with a shower virtually non-existent, and a curtain that was gross to touch. Breakfast ridiculous, coffee, tea, and toast. It is worth paying a little more and go to another hotel a thousand times better.
Very small hotel, very low end, don't be afraid of the filth of the unsanitary, light light breakfast, but ready for all the things to see in London,
Small toilet and lack of towels.
The location of the hotel is great. Nice and friendly staff. The hotel is very old. It's clean but it's so worn out that it looks bad. The rooms are small and have little space. The breakfast room is also very cramped. The breakfast was correct, but it was simple: coffee (brown water), tea, milk, toast, butter and marmalade. Every day the same breakfast.
Very, very dirty place. I don't recommend this place. The only good thing that it has, is the location.
I wouldn't let my dog stay here. It's hard to say what the worst aspect of this dump is… The bed linen stains? The mould in the shower? The utterly inedible breakfast? Or maybe it was just the horrible stench that follows you around every room. I really wish I was making this up. Let's be clear, some places are so bad that they're good. This is not that place. Don't stay here, not even for a laugh. You'd be better off getting arrested, the prison cell would be cleaner. A word to the owners — charge a tenner more and actually clean the place.
At check-in, to make the payment, we tried 3 cards, always with negative result, then we were told to go to an ATM, withdraw and pay in cash, making us cheat so the exchange rate.
To emphasize the fact that, nowhere else did we have any problems with the cards.
Let's start with Cons: Cleaning deficient, stained sheets, curtains dusty and half detached, sketches on the walls, fixtures that let pass cold and noises, room and bathroom tiny, smell from sewer from the bathroom, button box Flush unplugged and broken, floor under the carpet that moved when other guests walked in the room next door, breakfast not up to par.
Only advantages of the hotel, change daily towels and location.
I think with this picture of the bathroom I say everything… Inatalaciones Pesimas, Staff very nice, is the only positive along with the ideal location.
A hotel with good price-quality. Good located. But the room is small and without windows is like a prison. For two days it is okay, but it makes a lot of heat and no is released. In addition, it is so small that you can hardly open the bags. And the bathroom… You can wash the teeth from the shower of what you paid, that is all.
I do not know if there is worse but in any case there is better. Nevertheless knowing how expensive housing is in London is a lesser evil. Because we are in the heart of London with everything nearby. Breakfast is quite small. But the staff are adorable.
Approximate hygiene.
Cheap and well located. Yes, the cheapest room is more like a caravan small a room. Two people barely fit. But if you are aware of it, that is fine. The room invites you to do tourism.
Hostel in London. Close to Victoria station, well connected to the main sites of the city.
The room was very clean. All the features were given, the location very good and at a very reasonable price.
I only stayed one night thankfully. Hotel in bad condition, dirty bathroom, stained and dirty linens. We're not talking about stain-filled carpeting. The bathroom door broken and held together by nails. No closet in the room. Smell for the sickening hallway.
Hotel in a very good strategic point, in very good location in central London, small and basic rooms, good breakfast.
Disgusting, not even favorable just an imposition.
Nice little hotel located right in London in the Victoria District. Room at £36 a night without window for 2 in the basement with small bathroom ample enough just to sleep. There are larger and more spacious rooms but more expensive.
Central and economical. Good people.
Excellent value for money to sleep. But hyper rudimentary. Equivalent to a Formula One. Nice staff.
Like all EasyJet hotels, economical with the necessary strait in 7 square meters, a bed and a bath in resin type those of the campers. Everything you pay aside: the remote control of the air conditioner, that of the wall TV, the hair dryer. The plus side is that it costs little and is in a good central area and served well.
Minimalist, breakfast a little simple.
In fact, the space is not so small, bigger than the train box. With 29 pounds to live in a clean double room, I think it's a great value and there's nothing to complain about. Remember to bring the right plug, the counter to sell 5 pounds. Note that the morning walk to the station may meet the thief who pretends to ask the way (walk away) be aware of scammers (fake police and he partner) on the way to coach station, Especia lly during early morning! Just don ' t stop and never show your wallet to anyone.
S*** hole with the worst customer service. I read a few other reviews and I think there’s are a couple that sum this place up. One said, don’t get involved in the hospitality hotel business if you have no interest making this place a nice visit or clean enough to stay in. Another said a place that you cannot relax in and you want to get out. We had very tired staff after staying here.
A large cost to our company from engineers not being able to sleep after a hard days work. We had to send our engineers home Friday just gone because they were unable to relax and sleep in your establishment because of cleanliness issues. We wont go into security and having to pay for Wi-Fi in your hotel but concentrate on the fact it is disgusting.
OK, we stayed in here for one night and it was quite uncomfortable. They really need to improve on their hygiene, or refurbish it. Need to pay £5for Wi-Fi and £2.5 per baggage if you want to leave it at hotel. This price deserves a better one,,
Unfortunately the standard is low enough the breakfast on the other hand was plentiful and the staff is helpful the location really great but the structure Nietzsche Cancell Unfortunately the standard is low enough the breakfast on the other hand was plentiful the Staff is helpful the location really great but the structure necessiterebbeIo a nice renovation.
Many complain that the rooms are small but for what we paid and what sites I don't think that they get something more spacious for the same price, highly recommend if only you are going to shower and sleep.
Great little hotel 5 mins walk from Victoria Coach Station perfect if you have to leave early to get the bus to the airport like we did. Rooms are basic but very clean and the beds were super comfy with coffee and tea facilities in the room. Will definitely stay here again.
Certainly the hotel is a bit old and a not super well maintained (mould on the windows, poorly insulated) however it is well placed and remains relatively clean, it is more super well located.
Very well placed for an affordable price. The option without window for only sleeping there and for one or two nights is quite suitable.
Functional place to sleep if you are lucky and avoid Lower Ground floor. Lower Ground gets a noticeable soundtrack from the tube trains below. I was fortunate that the noise from these was drowned out by the enthusiastic Eastern European family occupying the rooms surrounding mine, til 1am, and the Olympic trampoline team that were training in the room above. Soundproofing is an alien concept in this hotel. This is a shame as I liked the functional simplicity of the hotel at first. The bed was comfy and the shower had plenty of hot water. At the end of it though the £40 asking price was just about fair value for money instead of the bargain it should have been.
For the price you pay, is the area in which it is; 3 minutes walk from Victoria Station, I must say that it is okay. We arrived with low expectations as we had seen reviews that the rooms were dirty, but everything else exceeded our expectations and was very clean. The room was small, but we had no problem because they knew what they were.
We've been three nights and I'm going to try to be as reasonable as possible. How very positive aspects are: the price, the area, and the proximity of transport if you want to move. For a quick trip is not bad if you use it for sleep. Negative aspects: on the internet say q speak several languages. Lie. Every day we greeted them and less a receptionist, none of us devolvia the greeting, the rooms are VERY NOISY, in the bathroom there is no plug, and in our room the window was not INSULATED and had a few holes in the roof that had to be ventilation and I spent a cold air balls… We have been cold. No espereis not that I do all the days the room. Or a joke! We were in room G2 so that you can another.
Hotel Lowest Filthy category. Rooms of 3 square meters bathrooms inaccessible by size and state of preservation. Bianceria washed badly and with bad odors. Ridiculous breakfast. Please advise these trades to change jobs.
If you don't get claustrophobic this hotel can be OK. Rooms in lower ground do not have windows. You know a cabin on a ship? Here's more or less you are. Warm and clean room. At this price, in central London, I think it's a fair service.
It is a hotel low cost whose primary value is its proximity to Victoria Station, 3 minutes walking. Some rooms are very small but it is clean. Very central location to enjoy the main tourist attractions of central London walk if you want.
Room of 5m ² (counting the bathroom) without window. Everything is paid (leave this suitcase, adapter taken) The breakfast BEZUCOUP too expensive for what it is… Staff, not particularly smiling. In short, I do not advise absolutely.
Very well located place. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff we had a great time here.
Small room with window. Actually very small but why not… Useful for sleeping… By cons The sash window is far too poorly insulated and it is terribly cold… Luckily we asked for a second quilt and they added a little extra heat. Ideal for a short stay and be in the heart of London with an interesting price.
Good price, good location. For a few unpretentious nights it's fine.
Be booked via the Web for value and location.
Truly if you want a 5 star hotel. Book one. This hotel only cost us $481 Australian for a week, for three of us.
It is central to everything and our room was cleaned every day. We had clean sheets and hot showers. Heaters in rooms work wonderfully.
Yes it’s a little old, yes you have to climb stairs.
But for value for money it was amazing!
Staff were polite, helpful and very very friendly.
Free breakfast included each morning of hot toast, cereal, tea and coffee, juice. We have no complaints. Amazing service.
Amazing staff.
Value for money
5 massive Aussie stars from us guys x
Well done xxxxx Thanks for everything.
Decent enough. Clean and tidy. Tiny, Tiny room. But I'd rather pay £40 for a small clean and tidy room than £30 for a small, minging room. Staff were friendly. The walls were very thin though. Definitely heard someone enjoying some intimate moments in the middle of the night…
The Blair Victoria Hotel, is located in an area of hotels, and very close to the Victoria station, where is the London Underground, train station and buses.
Get exactly what you see. Rooms very small but clean and warm. We slept well, staff friendly and welcoming. For the price great value.
I did not like everything, the whole structure was saggy with mold and moisture on the walls everywhere and dirty, mouldy walls and electrical wires not working, almost uncovered and dangerous, also the breakfast is absent, you have a toast with jam of questionable size yellowed butter and watered-down orange.
The staff for nothing available, I asked several times about the electrical outlets that led electrical noise (it was highly dangerous) we loaded our phones into the various coffee shops.
Last thing night room completely cold, if you want to sleep well you have to wear pajamas, clothes and jacket over the blankets, but do not move too much in the bed.
The only good thing is the location at 500 Mt from the train and bus station.
The Hotel is located very central and it's just a few minutes walk to Victoria station and e. G. Sainsbury's. This really is the only advantage and reason to choose this hotel. We've been here in December. It was around 0 degree and we had a room in the basement. It was cold and we had no blanket. Just a sheet on the bed and a thin bedspread. The windows are leaky as usual in London but at least there should be a working heating. Well there was none. They put an electrical heating into the already tiny room. That thing didn't make any difference. The bathroom was tiny as well and unclean. The breakfast consists of toast, marmalade, salty butter, variation of cereals and coffee or tea. On the way to Sainsbury's are lots of restaurants with breakfast menus. You should use them.
Very good location in a quiet location with restaurants and cafe next to the theater that plays wicked. However, the rooms very small and sometimes without window. When I say small c is less than 7m2 for two. Everything is paid (TV, cleaning service, keeping the suitcases). It's kind of the "Lego Adventure Hotel". For the price go your way and put more elsewhere and closer still in the center.
Very clean and it he staff were great. Only complaint is that I paid extra for a window room and a large Christmas tree was put up just next to my room… Complete with flashing lights that were kept on throughout the night. Would not stop me staying here again but it was quite annoying.
Surprisingly nice for a low budget hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are snug but who goes on holiday to stay in the hotel room? The bed was comfier and with nicer sheets than the last EasyHotel I stayed in and the bathroom was in nicer condition. Not completely perfect though as the room never really got dark because of lights on the fire alarm, TV (pay to unlock), etc, and the shower was alternately scalding and ice cold. (Also it is not at all accessible if that's a deal-breaker for you, being an old Georgian building. But the price it was more than I expected, especially in central London.
For the price we paid and the amount of time we were planning on spending in the room the small rooms size was perfect. Beds were clean, room was warm and comfy and the staff friendly. Use this more as a place to stay if you just need the essentials on a visit, for a couple of nights. If you're staying longer and want a place to spend a good few hours in the room besides sleeping you may want to stay elsewhere. Overall very happy.
Cheap, but ugly the rooms. Good location.
Spectacular location. The prices are good. The rooms are tiny, there is only room to sleep, you can't stand it.
Good hotel, for London fits price/Performance, all within walking distance.
Less expense than manuel hotel. Room are very small. Be careful to the soap distributor in the shower.
Great location near to Victoria and reasonably priced. Room is small but bed is comfortable. Modular bathroom is clean although took a while for shower to warm up (I was on top floor)
Booked a standard room and ended up in a small one. They say is a standard one but the size is exactly the sane as a small bedroom. Why to pay more?! The wind could pass through the window, the room was cold at night. Had a first good experience in earls court easy hotel but this one was really bad. I’m not coming again or suggest it to anyone.
Location is great, but you get what you pay for. Cheaper rooms are really tight (seriously, like no space between the bed and the walls) and have no windows; while the more expensive ones are bigger, more comfortable, and have windows. Service is ok, but remember this is a no frills hotel. Don't expect anything fancy or free, not even room cleaning (£5 every time you want your room cleaned), remote control (£5 a day), or Wi-Fi (£10 for a 5-day pass). So if you're looking for a clean room, in a great location, for £50 a day, this is a great choice. But, if you're like me, don't bother and spend a little more money to stay somewhere else.
I didn't mind size of the room, but the smell and pretty humid air. Took the room without window, and it was not so nice to stay. Aircon can be regulated only if you call the staff to do it, and each time you want the change, you need to call them again. Still the cheapest room you can get so close to city center.
On the plus side the bed was comfortable. The rest is a miserable experience. The room is decorated like a train toilet. There is no chair. No drawers. Two hooks, everything else stays on the floor. The water was never more than lukewarm. The room was freezing and you couldn’t adjust the radiator (which was off). £5 extra to watch the TV. £5 extra for Wi-Fi (in 2017, really! ). The room is so bare it echoes when you walk across the uncarpeted floor. The soundproofing is non existent. I could hear every cough and hairdryer on the floor. Not that they provide a hairdryer. A thoroughly awful experience.
Dirty, really really dirty. Never been to such a hotel! For example, the towels were not washed, only zsm was laid again. Rooms are in need of renovation (understatement). But really quite centrally located …
Central Hotel near the Victoria station…
Very special with really small rooms…
Just for sleeping and no more…
Cheap, with the basic, cramped rooms to say the least, convenient location close to Central station. Not recommended for those who have a few pounds:)
The staff at the hotel is really not friendly.
The room was in the basement, the window did not close, the walls full of traces of moisture, the mattress rotted. The dubious carpet does not give you the desire to walk barefoot. The insulation is non-existent, the shower and toilet are ridiculously small, and the shower curtain has a lot of mold.
The breakfast boils down to toast and some 3 cereals. A kind of syrup replaces the fruit juice, no hot chocolate, do not count on the English breakfast, it does not exist at the Blair Victoria Hotel.
Luckily the staff are friendly.
I will not go back and will not send an enemy.
To avoid, stolen money! … although I must say that along the same road there is even worse!
Very very small room not even laid his belongings.
This is the coolest place I have stayed in ages. When you say you only need a bed, this is it! Reminds me of the uni rooms where there's a wet room-shower-sink-toilet, think caravan style! A mirror and a bed. Proper ace! I'm here to explore not sit in my room. Awesome. Great cheap option for those on a super budget… pack light tho… not much floor space :)
My bathroom at home is bigger than the entire room and bathroom included. There's no heating and if someone three floors up from you coughs, you'll hear it. We were lucky that we got a room with a window — yes in this hotel it's an option,. You wouldn't swing a cat in the bathroom, also don't turn on the shower with the bathroom door open as the jail cell will flood. The whole room is neon orange so bring panadol with you. The TV was 10£ a day, the Wi-Fi was 10£ a day and anything else you might need was also 10£ a day. Best of luck staying here, you'd be better off to sleep in Victoria train station which is 2km down the road.
We booked this place paying for a room with a double bed to find out when we got there an extra £20 pound needed to be added as they thought only one person was staying.
The room was so small.
The carpets were unclean and the whole room smelt like feaces.
The window was falling to pieces and decaying wood around it. We tried to use the TV and the remote was sticky, I dont even want to know what that was from.
The door and walls had hand prints and mucky marks all over however The bed sheets seemed clean.
The breakfast was poor.
Im not a fussy person but when you pay for a room to stay in over night the least you can ask is that it is clean.
I wouldn't reccomend this place and I certainly wont be returning!
Very very small rooms, smells disgusting…
Avoid this "hotel" at all cost! This "hotel" is a total joke. Awful, dirty, smelly and disgusting! The first room we got was small. The shower was really really dirty and moldy! Toilette seat was broken. Water needed at least 10' to get warm. Bed sheets looked like they were never washed. Towels were dirty and smelly. Heater war broken. After asking for a new room, we did get one. I was really surprised to be honest. The new room was even smaller but a bit cleaner. Bathroom included a "shower" of 49x60 cm. Nest to the shower the toilette and next to it the tiny sink. No room just to turn around in this bathroom. There was an additional blanket in this room. Full with blonde hair… This was so disgusting! On the first night a rat came out of our bed… The breakfast hall was just a cellar room. Way too small. They offered kind of "interkontinentale breakfast" which contents: 3 kinds of cornflakes, toasts, butter and jam. The coffee tasted like paper. "tea" looked like it was freshly taken from the sink. Absolutely awful!
Worst 'hotel' ever! AVOID at all cost! It not even worth this 1-star rate! Who ever gave that "hotel" a 5-star rate, must be its owner! It was my first stay in London and I was told not to expect too much since London is very expensive. But I couldn't believe that it is THAT bad! No respond to emails Unfriendly receptionist Small, smelly und total dirty room. Heater was broken. The shower was broken and moldy. It took almost 10 minutes for the water to get warm. Toilet and shower and sink were all in the 1qm bathroom. Not enough room to turn or shower! 'Bed' sheets were dirty. It looked like it was never washed. There was a 2nd brown blanket in our room where we have found blond hair on it… Windows were leaky, wood was rotten. The wall was so thin you can hear everything from the floor or from the next room. On the 2nd night we found a rat under our bed… The 'intercontinental' breakfast was a total joke! There were 3 kinds of cornflakes, which is brought from the next supermarket, toasts and jam. Coffee which tasted just like paper. The 'tea' looked like freshly taken from the dishwasher… 5£ per day for your Wi-Fi.
Absolutely terrible Hotel: room cramped and dirty, no heating on arrival, no cover to bed, top of bed very dirty, no hot water in the sink, no light, no shelf over the sink; the bathroom light triggered a loud ventilation with air coming out, no heating in the bathroom, forced to put a little extra radiator between the room and the bathroom to try to get a little warm. The bedding was bad (bad kidneys), top of bed was very dirty and the mattress, not protection mattress. Above the headboard, there was the window that let air, so very cold in the room despite the extra radiator. No shelves in the bathroom to ask business, no hooks for towels, just brackets broken, ditto in the shower, obliged to put our products on the floor in the shower tray, not either in the room or bedside table, Chair or lamp bedside, forced to get up to turn off the light that was at the entrance of the room. The breakfast was basic: white bread toast, butter, jam, coffee, milk and tea, nothing else… at the end of our 4 nights in this hotel, we came back with a bad cold… In short, we recommend any hotel that should be completely redone from floor to the ceiling, allowing a minimum of comfort for guests. Pity, because the situation of the hotel is not ideal, away from the main attractions and Victoria station.
We had a mouse in our dwarf room, the towels were dirty all the days, the springs of the bed are pinned in the back, the blankets that leave you in the room are full of hairs… really disgusting!
When we arrived the receptionist stated that my booking was cancelled and he send me emails to let me know which I did not recieved any. So he put in a room which was not what I booked, it was very small, very cold as the main radiator was broken so they provided a portable one, the toilet was tight and dirty — molds everywhere which I did complained as I suffer from asthma, no mattress protector, one saggy pillow each, no milk, no stirrer — a long list to say. It's like Harry Potters room as my room is under stairs and by the public toilet. I won't recommend it. Beware and book somewhere else.
Room dirty and small. Bathroom with shower does not exist.
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Firstly, the room not only smelled bad, but the beds were dirty and foul. At night, you could actually hear rats scurrying inside the floorboards above and beneath you. The breakfast was ok. To top it all off, the Wi-Fi even cost extra money.
Dirty and smelled bad, tiny cramped rooms and shower\ toilet you can barely turn around in, noisy due to the thin walls, … I didnt even bother with the complimentary breakfast I was so desperate to leave.
If I could rate this zero stars, I would — for a start, our window is broken and we're on basement level with a stairwell leading down to our window; we told the receptionist about this and he stated the window has been broken for a while and he's worked here for two years and he's never had anyone break in. We asked for a room change and he stated they had no other double rooms available — we just went online and there are. We had to leave our keys at reception upon leaving each time and signs in the room state that if valuables get stolen it is not their problem. From past reviews on TripAdvisor, it seems the staff themselves come into people's rooms and take whatever they please. Please avoid this hotel at all costs — the rooms are grimy (we had dirty towels and there are stains in the toilet and hairs in the shower) and the staff are unhelpful and rude. I only wish we could have afforded to stay somewhere elsewhere on my work trip/time away with my boyfriend.
Me and three other friends visited the hotel for 4 days, and experienced… : — getting dirty towels in our room — finding bite marks from a kind of rodent in our sweets (chocolate and fugde) — very little water + it was mainly cold — broken toilet seat (was broken before we began our stay) — holes in the bathroom walls — too small a room for four people. The room had the size of a two bed room aka a room for TWO people. But the had managed to fit TWO DOUBLE BEDS inside the room. So, also, there wasn't ANY room for suitcases or between the beds. — the hotel was poorly maintained To make a conclusion from the above: Don't go there unless you don't care about space or bitemarks from either rats or mouse in your sweets.
The staff and the service very good.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This place has possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced and they do not seem to care. When booking the room, I chose to pay on arrival, however the payment was taken out of my bank. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told I needed to make the room payment, as the one that had been taken out of my account was a deposit. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful and, considering I am a young woman, he was happy enough to see me with nowhere to stay, and said 'What do you want me to do about it? ' when I explained the confusion. I asked multiple times why I had to make another payment when I had proof of payment being taken, and I showed this to the receptionist, and he was extremely rude to me. He told me again that the room was £110 and that I had paid a £70 deposit that I would get back. Never was £110 stated anywhere for the room, and when I complained to the hotel, I was told that I would get the deposit back as they had only put a charge on my card. Even if this is the case, the staff do not care that my complaint is about the way I was treated and they clearly only care about the money. The room itself was not clean, one of the towels in the room had an orange stain, the cushions on the bed were stained, the bed had what looked like food crumbs on it and there were hairs on the shower door. I am trying to get a decent response and some of my original payment back (not the so called 'deposit', this is apparently being sorted).
