SMALL shower, cant even move my hand without touching the wall. The bathroom also have no play to hang towels. Very little wall powerpoints and uncofortable bed. Not worth the price : (!

Good value for money.
And especially very well placed, quiet street and yet within walking distance (3min not even) of the great Paddington station.

Small but nice rooms, very good shower for a shower pod. Could do with more sound proofing between the rooms but otherwise okay. Nice and helpful reception staff which have given us plenty of hot chocolate and tea bags.

Only one parking spot. One. And you have to pay an extra 15 pounds to use it. We had to park a little bit away and pay I think 30 for it. This hotel wasn't anything special. But the beds were decently comfortable at least.

Good place, well located near Hyde park and the tube. Also good breakfast.

The Hotel Columbus is nice! That's all and that's good. Expect no fanciness. Just a clean, comfortable, quiet place to sleep with the basic things you need… Plus very friendly staff and reasonable prices :) Only the breakfast could be a bit more… comprehensive… for the non-cereal types of people.

Great location, it was a 5 minute walk to the tube station. Staff were friendly and polite. Good value for money.

The hotel is located in a very quiet and comfortable area to arrive. The rooms are very comfortable and cozy, the service is very friendly, although we have tried to speak in Spanish some doubts and have not done much effort to understand us. But for the rest a 10.

Spent New Years. Walking distance to great pubs and food. Bathroom was a little small but it is in an older building.

The Columbus hotel is quite well placed, very close to Paddington station. It is quite cozy and good value for money. The staff are very welcoming. Overall, the family room I took was quite small, but it was acceptable. The mattresses are very good. A few axes of improvement: the carpet on the floor deserves to be changed, the sanitary (shower + WC) are of the type "cabin" it is not a real room of water. The sound insulation is not very efficient either, the footsteps in the top room were strong enough to wake me up at night!
Despite all these little negative points, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel to host a family.

To visit London, and sleep and leave… well. You can't ask for more than a bed and breakfast.

It is an old house adapted to hotel. It perfectly fulfils its function of place to rest after an hour's day of visit to London.
Breakfast is very good, bread, cereals, yogurt, some pastries, coffee…
It is better… if…, but do not ask a pear tree that of oranges…

Well located, clean, not large room, but ok, for conditions good fruitstueck, "bathroom" is a plastic cabin in the room — which does it for 2-3 naechte, is not big but also ok.

It was quite small and cramped throughout the hotel, the room as well. But it was clean and the staff were lovely. Breakfast wasn't fantastic and I don't think the stay was great value for money. But the location was Good!

Close to a tube station, easy to find, superb location, great staff and lovely breakfast. Clean rooms, albeit in need of renovation. Lots of pubs, takeaways and restaurants nearby.

A budget hotel in the heart of London. It is easily accessible with the tube and by bus. The staff are friendly. The room is too old and breakfast lacks variety.

Structure I think of Victorian era, judging from the small rooms and the type of camper bathrooms (made in the rooms themselves). For the rest, courteous staff, good cleanliness, breakfast more than enough and very competitive price.

Great value, taking into account that we are at the center of one of the most expensive cities in the world. The staff is very friendly and the room was clean. A small B&B where I will return.

Great location! Close to multiple tube and train stations, very easy to get to if coming off the Heathrow Express. Hotel is a little tired but it very cheap! Staff are polite and helpful.

Hotel is on great place, Sussex gardens looks like very peaceful neighborhood. We came from Stansted to Baker street and from there is about 15 minutes walk to hotel. Metro is really close (5 minut), but also main attractions are in Range (Buckingham palace, Big Ben) by walk. Some restaurants and bars are also really close. Hotel is really simple, bathroom is really small. For sleeping is it enough. Breakfast is also simple, but I think everybody find something to eat. We met 3 staff members and all are very kind.
