Please do not go to this hotel, I am feeling very depress because despite all the explanations I gave to them that that room was full of humidity, smelly to toilet, freezing, claustrophobic, they told me they are not going to refund my money even I did not stay in the room. I left the hotel after I complain about the room to the receptionist and he told me is not more rooms. It is really unfair to be honest the government to allow this people to do whatever they want with their customers.

Awful hotel, dirty and smelly, was meant to be staying there then decided against it once I’d seen the state of it so went elsewhere, then when we complained and asked for a refund they refused although we’d been in the building 15 minutes and not actually stayed there, would not recommend, stay well clear!

It is safe, comfortable and very quiet at night. The location is great. Victoria train station is just round the corner. The staff members are friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely hotel.

I'm very disappointed about booking service! I booked before coronavirus pandemic one room for 3 person Easter period for one night. We didn't know what's going to be happen, obviously now is hotel closed and we can't go. We was ready to re-book our staying in October and do not lose money what's been already paid but hotel says our booking is non refundable and they didn't change dates. Not recommended.

I don’t even know where to start. Dirty, unsanitary rooms. Leaking from the ceiling in my first room. Chronic damp smell throughout the hotel. Staff are unhelpful and rude, even emailing them since I left with my concerns they have denied everything and been very unhelpful. Woke up with BUGS ON ME in the final room they put me in. Just don’t even waste your money. The only positive is the location but definitely would not even ask my dog to stay here.

This hotel is horrible, they advertise their rooms with old photos. There is mold all over the walls and the roof. I thought it might be a good option near the Victoria train station but don't take the risk to stay with them with so many other honest hotels near by.

Awesome location. Room and bath are super tiny. But fantastic location and ultra-helpful staff make up for it. So thankful we picked this hotel.

A not so lovely extra guest of a bed bug!

They can't very rude told me the room I booked was not suitable for 5 people it was only suitable for 3 but still let me use the room I didn't no this till after I booked the room but I did state when booking 5 guests 3 of which was children on arrival I asked for a cot that stated when booking I could for small fee to be told I had to travel to station to hire one from them I then asked for a extra blanket to put my 10momh old on as she had no were to sleep due to no travel cot to be told I had to wait till the next morning which I was leaving by then my daughter ended up stuck under the bed due to this to then find a rodent trap under the bed that my 3 kids have stayed in and my 10month old got stuck under I asked to speak to a manager told me they would be back at 12 to then be told on the phone the next day they was off all weekend sick then they tried to blame the booking company never took no responsibility what so ever the fact that this room was clearly not suitable for 5 guests I also asked for twin beds for my 2 boys and received 1 single bed and double bed not happy have took this further I also have pics to prove all of this!

We got a big apartment instead of small room. Good area to live real London — nice pubs, restaurants. Very close to Wesminster Abbey.

Small Room, but comfortable and quiet — reasonably priced for the location.

Organized professionalism yet invitingly warm atmosphere. I was made to feel like a valued customer & this is why I've decided to stay 2 extra nights. Do not be swayed by the renovation works in the reception because the room is flawless — sooo clean & smells of fresh linen. Bathroom is spotless & every single amenity is top quality. As for the bed — I think it's more comfortable than mine back in America.

Stayed here for a week and was nothing more than a comfortable bed to rest the legs. Unfortunately not very clean, very small/cramp (this is off the back of a trip to Japan) and fraught with problems. Our first room had a foul smell due to its below road location and apparent flooding days before. After the room change the new ones sink and shower was clogged and didn't drain well. Gave 1 star for the great location (not far from Victoria station which has a mix of just about all lines in London) and 1 star for service as they owners did fix what problems we encountered.

Tiny room in the basement but very modern and comfort. I know space is a premium in London but I shouldn’t have to have my knees under the tiny sink when sitting on the toilet. Wi-fi is pants and shouldn’t be in this day and age. Okay for the one night in the very comfortable bed. I don’t think it is a four star hotel, three at best!

Good budget option in a nice area close to Westminster. Small rooms but comfortable and clean.

The location and the price are very good.

Hotel very well located, 5-10 minutes from the main monuments. Good value for money for London. Clean and renovated hallway and hallway. New and functional bathroom. Renovated room with coffee and tea available. Very helpful and welcoming guests at the front desk. Hotel to advise!

Small but quite cosy. Not had to sleep yet but room was actually great for thirty quid.

I LOVED IT! LOVED IT LOVED IT! we stayed at this lovely flat. It was a surprise and I was so happy with it. The lovely guy at reception was extremely friend. The flat was very welcoming. Nice lovely hot shower and great privacy. Very quiet street so absolutely no noise even on "London rush hour" Thank you for a beautiful Valentine night. Magic.

Good for a night stop over, easy to get to, good location.

Very small room for two. Lack of details on cleanliness and beds. More comfortable quadruple room. Poorly made beds… basic hygiene. Just to sleep and bathe. Good location.

I think it looks better than it is because it looks very new but lacks many details, do not put or carpet in the shower, the faucet was a bit broken, do not change the sheets, just stretch. Under the bed you see they don't clean up long ago. The good thing is the location and the beds are comfortable. But I wouldn't go back.

What a great little find right in the heart of London! This little gem offers great location, a modern, clean and cozy room with a very comfy bed as well as friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for short-term business stay, airport stopovers and personal travel. I'll definitely be coming back here for all my London visits and airport stopovers!

Perfect overnight stop. Right next to Victoria station, underground, and coach station. Lovely clean room, comfortable beds. My stay of choice in future.

Had a really nice stay with the girl friend room was a bit small but other than that well situated.

Rotten staff: I asked to book a taxi for the next morning to go to the Heathrow airport. I was very tired and I didn’t check beforehand how much it actually costs (used the train to come there that evening). The staff (an Indian etc. Origin male) asked 55 pounds. He said he would pay it to the driver when the driver shows up (I should’ve smelled that something’s cooking but I was really exhausted). The next morning I jumped into the cab, we took off and I confirmed from the driver that the trip was covered. Apperantely it wasn’t. So we did a U-turn, I demanded the crooked receptionist to pay the driver. After a small discussion he handed a white envelope to the driver and I asked the receptionist if he gave the 55 pounds. He said yes. I asked the driver outside the hotel how much was in the envelope. He said 32 pounds. I complained the receptionist about this and at first he denied it but eventually he said it’s between him and the driver how much he pays and it’s between me and him how much I paid and I accepted the price when he said it the evening before. Unfortunate to say this is true and I was a sucker for not checking the prices beforehand, but it definately wasn’t done in good faith from the staff end and 23 pounds to a middle man for a 25-30 pound taxi trip is called hustling. In addition there was a strong stench of mold in the bathroom. Avoid this place!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good location, close to walking from many places to visit.

Small room, lots of Humidity. We had a room located just at the reception desk of the hotel and the hallway which serves as luggage, the noisy room blow in the morning and evening, between the guests who speak, the person of the reception who watches videos on his phone, the customers Who deposit their luggage right outside the Door. The bathroom is extremely humid, with mould on the walls, joints… the sink that does not flow because the cap is Broken. A stink that is barely sustainable when you have to take a shower. The staff not very friendly, who does not speak French and does not make a single effort to give us time to understand what they have to tell Us. "suspicious" tasks on walls, curtains and carpet.
The Wi-Fi was either saying free but we never managed to get it.
One towel per person without the possibility of having a towel for the floor when you go out with the wet feet of the Shower. Bedside lamp that does not work, as half of the bulbs present in the ROOM.
The housekeeper passed all mornings, but only to pull the blanket on the bed without making the bed properly, without emptying the trash from the bathroom, without recovering the old Towels. Brief neither done nor to do.
Luckily we were not left to sleep and spend our time at the Hotel. I would not go back.

Nice little hotel. In the process of being refurbished with most rooms already completed. We stayed in an older room for one night, but the shower didn't work properly so we were moved to one of the new rooms. It was a fantastic room, hotel chain standard. Really comfy bed with memory foam mattress. Ensuite was brand new. Manager was friendly and helpful. No breakfast available, but there are plenty of cafes in the area. Would recommend as a place to stay.

When we arrived there was a considerable delay in making the front desk but we got a beautiful apartment very cozy and with housekeeping every day. Recommended.

Small hotel in a quiet side street. It's a bit run down. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful.

Room clean and very pleasant.

I booked the single room, the bed was touching the wall on both side. Everything was clean and the bathroom was cleaned more than once a day. I would stay again, but it's cheap so don't expect much in space.

Very small rooms, in a deplorable state like the rest of the hotel. Traces of humidity, room without windows and very small, quality that remains to be desired. To avoid so.

Small but cozy. Very near to Victoria station. Rooms are very clean and suitable for couples and small families. Salisbury and bus stops are in walking distance. So many restaurants near by.

Small but new rooms, great location and close to the station. Coming out is full of locals where you can eat or take a beer.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Room was smaller then a coat closet, bed was against the wall and was too small for 2 people. We booked 10 "double occupancy" rooms through Europe and this was by far the worst. If we had known what we were getting when we booked this place we wouldn't have been so upset, but we walked in and immediately felt mislead by the add we booked from. "sound proof rooms and premium bedding" was a joke. The memory foam mattress is not like a topper, it is actually the whole bed and the worst thing to sleep on. The bathroom was clean, but again smaller then a coat closet with a sink that you can barely wash your hands in. The shower was pretty good though. On top of all of this, we walked into a full renovation zone when we walked in. Who renovates their entire building without warning their guests? The floors were completely ripped up, holes in many walls and the ceiling and there was drywall dust everywhere. It was horrible and if we hadn't paid ahead of time we would have walked out before we even saw the room. After we saw the room we looked up other hotels in the area to see if there was any way we could stay somewhere else and sacrifice the money we had spent. The location was very good — super close to Victoria train station.

Decent service, but great location in the middle of shops: restaurants of any ethnicity, bars, cafes, bakeries and supermarkets.

The hotel does not seem hotel if not a pension q leave much q want, very small rooms, poor safety extension cords to connect a small fridge and other things, windows with views to debris and other crap. Spanish zero in the price entered the breakfast but once there nothing at all. The only thing good hotel location this q in a quiet barrrio and with all the services, and very close to the metro and bus station.

Quiet, calm, in the city center. Very clean. I stayed for 2 weeks in 2 different rooms. Both have the same lack of water pressure and TV interference problems. But if you look for a quiet place to sleep at a affordable price, it's very good.

Very small hotel right in the Centre of London. The location in a side street, good shielding the most noise of the city. The rooms are very very small and tight. When entering the room to fall almost straight to bed. The bathroom is a wet cell. I liked that a kettle, cups and tea is provided in the rooms. The rooms are sufficient for one or 2 nights in London. Most of the time of day is it in London and there are lots of Cafés for a breakfast. People with claustrophobia or in a wheelchair should avoid this hotel.

We spend 1 night there and had to weak up at 4:15 in the morning to couch a flight. The room was terribly small for two people, the pictures of the room were different on the site, the bed was definitely not a double bed and that was so uncomfortable for two people, and the bathroom even tinier. You might be lucky on your booking and have a room on the first floor. Because if not get prepared for a lot of noise. I was hearing each step the person of the above room was making, until they left their room I could not sleep. The stuff was good and friendly, and the location as well. If you want to spend 2-3 days in London is fine. But if you want an early wake up and a good sleep for two, I would suggest to call them first and make sure you wont take any room on the ground floor or on the — 1.

Great location as it is close to victoria station, then there are metro, train and bus, the neighborhood is quite pleasant, the rooms are a little small, but clean.

We were a little apprehensive after reading bad reviews about this hotel. But on arrival found that everything was completely adequate for the price. Everything was clean and the staff would do anything for you, you just have to ask. We stayed in the room just behind the reception desk which didn't bother us at all and made us feel quite safe. The only problem we found was a lack of coat hangers like most places. The location was quite quiet with some nice restaurants near by. We would recommend the spicy world Indian just across the road. A few shows are near by… For example bully Elliot and wicked, however most other places are within a half an hour walk. Alternatively the tube station is just round the corner! A very enjoyable stay in London.

We're in London, city where hospitality is one of the most deplorable of Europe (unless you have the means to pay 300 pounds per night), the Chester Hotel is acceptable. While the rooms are small, shower mixers are enough folk (or the water is freezing or one to chuckle), but the mixer is unknown in Britain and it must already be lucky to have one here: with a few manipulations and a little patience, you can get water at the correct temperature. Apart from that, the decoration of the rooms is nice, very clean bedding, rather friendly and available staff, we're near Victoria and Westminster. We have a kettle, tea and coffee in each room, and if you buy Cupcakes for breakfast, avoids to pay 12 pounds for a morning snack in one of the restaurants in the area. All rooms have a TV, some have a remote control, others do not! But the area is very quiet and it is awakened by the singing of the birds. Anyway, if you do not stay eight days in London, it's an acceptable compromise. An imperative advice though: If you go, ask for a room on the ground floor or on the floors, refuse the rooms in the basement: they are full of moisture and a terrible smell. But from the "ground zero", everything is fine.

I've never reviewed anyone before but the value for money this hotel gives has set a president. The room is very small BUT very nice, clean and the most comfortable beds. It's 5 minutes from Victoria station. I'd seen bad reviews when I book so expected a fight at check in but the staff were so friendly and the room a very pleasant surprise. Would not hesitate to stay in room 10 again.
