Great staff, service and drinks selection. Would recommend the alcoholic hot chocolate — delicious!

I had a surprise 60th birthday lunch in a private room. All the staff were brilliant, the food delicious and the service outstanding. I couldn't have wished for more!

Great food great cocktails and mock tails loved the risotto and steak and spinach and green beans side Amazing attentive service too.

One of the best hotels stayed in London. Its classical and work of art how the interiors are maintained as medieval age. The personal welcome note from the manager was quite a touch. Breakfast was amazing and room is stupendous.

Great service and great cocktails, what more could you also for. We arrived on quite possibly the hottest night of the year but the outside tables drew us in. The hotel has a beautifully chic atmosphere and has a more relaxed vibe than its Soho counterparts. Cocktails were definitely on the pricer side for Soho but as we sat at the bar we were able to see the mixologist hone his craft and create each cocktail with great precision so the price can be justified!

A very well placed hotel with some impressive decor. We went for Christmas lunch, spent a fair bit of money. The service was just fine, however the food, considering the price, was not quite up to expectations. Our fault for deciding to go out rather than cook a home feast. I would recommend for general dining however.

We only ate at Oscar, the hotel's restaurant. Had breakfast, and later had tea service with champagne. Everything was excellent. If you are going to have tea, you can't do better than Oscar.

Had drinks and snacks there. Lovely non alcoholic beverages and great chips (fries to Americans). Good service and lovely atmosphere.

We came here for a family Afternoon tea to celebrate our parents anniversary. It was an amazing afternoon for the whole family. We were seated in the drawing room by the fire so on a cold wintery wet day it was just perfect. There was space for my 3 year olf nephew to play as well. The food was perfect. They were able to careful cater for mum who is vegan and my wife who is a coeliac! I would recommend this place and definitely plan to go back :)

Love the atmosphere here, nice terrace, always good friendly service, the decor is stylish and the food and drinks menu is of a high standard. I highly recommend a visit for drinks, afternoon tea, lunch or dinner — you won't be disappointed.

We had only afternoon tea in this beautiful hotel. The service was extremely kind. Tea and scones superb. The other food included in the afternoon tea were good but not special. In the whole I must say that we appreciated this experiences and in this hotel is very nice and cosy.

We attended the cinema club wktb a 3 courae dinner before. Food was very tasty. Service was unbelievable, so attentive. The cinema was very cute and comfortable. All in all a great experience.

Love CSH because it is always welcoming and it has nice alternate places to go and have your drinks. Not a fan of their food however the hotel itself and the staff are super friendly. Nice to go for a drink!

My family and I had Christmas lunch. There is no denying the hotel is lovely and the Service was good. Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. The portions were small and tasteless. The Vegs were served in small bowls and the roast potatoes were a big disappointment. I have eaten at Ham Yard on many occasions (sister hotel) and the ambience and food is far superior. Not a good festive experience.

Great hotel. Fantastic staff. Lovely rooms. Excellent beds and linin. My only complaint is the bar isn't very comfortable.

The entrance of the Hotel Charlotte is simple and at the entrance you are greeted by a sculpture of Botero, a destination for a selfie.
The reception will welcome you with really professional, polite and very helpful staff.
Impressive… They always have a smile on their lips that will put you at ease.

Happened check-in other surprise: "They handed me the old and dear key of access… Great! "No badge open the room door you will remain open-mouthed because you are immediately embraced by a relaxing atmosphere.
The room is equipped with every comfort and the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom is at the highest level.
Another noteworthy gem of the room are the windows… Open in the room there is a sofa with two seats, a small table and two armchairs and a very large table, in other words you find yourself in a familiar environment.
The room is equipped with a wide screen television and a Bose BT SoundLink revolve.
The fridge bar is very well stocked.
The room is equipped with a safe with numerical combination, there is a hairdryer and a small sewing kit.
The air conditioning is adjustable from the room and does not activate automatically.
The bed is just great, huge and very convenient.
This wi-Fi and very fast connection.
The hotel is equipped with a gym.

Stayed with my wife for her birthday celebration. We were treated like royalty! Nothing was too much for them and the room was stunning. We watched a film in their wonderful screening room, and then had a very nice meal and cocktails in the bar. Warm fires, comfy sofas, friendly staff, lovely little extras, stunning rooms; a truly exceptional hotel.

Had brunch there. Food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. Some people have commented on the small portions but I felt the quality of the food more than justified the price. Would highly recommend.

A first date here a long time ago led to wonderful things. Tonight, spontaneously I popped in again since Mon Plaisir over the road had stopped serving. I sat at the same table. To brass tacks: we only had a main and side dish each, and a glass of wine each — total whack £90. The average price for starters is about £15. £24 for mains. Sides come in around £6. So it's gotten a lot more expensive to eat here. If memory serves, nthe film club night is much better value. That said, the kitchen serves up delicious, moreish food, and the service was attentive. It's a pleasant space too.

Our whole party of 8 got bad food here and it took far too long to arrive. It was only a Thursday and not that busy. My steak was way overcooked and dry. Everyone on the table had a similar experience with a variety of dishes. Other diners looked like they had better food so maybe we were unlucky… but the chef in a place like this shouldn't be sending bad quality food to the tables. In summary, I have had better food for a 1/4 of the price in crappy chain pubs. Avoid.

Went to the hotel to attend a private screening of a new TV series. The hotel is smart and the bar area lively. The drinks that we ordered were perfectly acceptable and the screening room is very comfortable save for a dead pixel on the screen.

One of the best hotels in London. Thoroughly up to date, 5 stars, but not artificially modern. Can't recommend strongly enough.

Champagne and wine menu are good, food took a little longer than I would have liked but it was good when it arrived. Staff were not overly welcoming but reasonably efficient at the bar. On my visit I would rate 6.7/10 (depending how busy they got to be honest). This is an excellent place to dine before theatre or a night out in Soho. The cinema here is a surprisingly large one with quality sound and picture, don't take the swanky looking sofa to the side — it was really uncomfortable after the first 10 mins sat on it!

This review is based on food only… Had a working lunch with colleagues and we were served really poor quality food. The Haddock with creamed leeks, clams and samphire was a bath of runny cream with barely any leeks, the clams had more grit than than your shoes after a long walk at the beach. Poor. My colleague had a plate of pasta that was more like a soup… definitely not returning.

Come here for the ambience, stay here for the service. Perfect place to take a date, grab some afternoon tea, after work drinks, or just open a book and be in your own universe. It does get crowded so have some patience during peak hours.

Beautiful setting, would have liked free Wi-Fi and more refreshments, but this may be downloaded to my employers package. Looks like a lovely place to stay.

The best afternoon-tea set I have even had in London. Service is perfect, the tea-room is very comfortable and in traditional English style.

'Oscar', the bar on he ground floor is a nice place to get a drink. Good cocktails and decent wine list, though the place gets a bit loud in the evening. Prices are on the high end of medium, cocktails around £12, wind starting from £8 for 175ml. Would come here again though there's plenty of similar or slightly better options just around the corner.

Went there for a blog event. I love the hotel its in a great location. The inside is beautiful and sophisticated. I didn't get to go to any of the bedrooms but went to a function room I guess on — 1. It was slightly small for our group but it was lovely.

A lush boutique hotel with an ‘art deco’ touch outside and a 70s-style interior, making it sophisticated but with an old-school twist.

The Charlotte Street Hotel is an elegant and understated hotel that over luxurious accommodation. You can also just go there for a superb dinning or drinks experience because it has a beautiful lounge and restaurant area. Their eggs Benedict, cocktails and flat white coffee are all personal favourites of mine.

Had many client meeting here, great venue. Lovely food and service! Always a pleasure.

Beautifully decorated, with stylish flair — the cocktails and wine selection here are as good as the aesthetics in my opinion. This is a great place for a summer afternoon wine on the streets near Covent Garden or a cocktail in the evening. If you go, try the espresso or blueberry martini. Superb.
