Tiny rooms, tiny beds and tiny bathrooms. Never going there again!

Pro: nice room, good service, good breakfast, clean, room fit 5 people. cons: only 1 VERY small lift and it makes screeching noises everytime someone uses it kept everyone up all night and was super annoying.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Good quality breakfast contains scrambled egg, boiled egg, beef franks, croissants, bread and fruit. Rooms are clean but only thing may bother you is their semi-privacy bathroom door (not sure they have the same in all other rooms). Location is very convenient for tourists since it's close to Paddington Station. We would love to stay here again.

Plus: family room with 5 real beds.
The least: no air conditioning.
The hotel staff is smiling and professional. Lunch, British, is very decent: eggs, sausages, toast, tomatoes, cheddar all that is missing are the beans with tomato. The hotel is well located to visit west London.

Location is convience. Staffs are helpful. The room is quite small and it's quite hard to sleep under this heat wave weather. Can't sleep at night until we change to the 4/f which have ac.

By far the worst hotel I've been to. Awful and horrible is an understatement. I was there 3 months ago and my wallet and wrist watch disappeared in the room. It is still a nightmare to replace all the cards. Staff was also not helpful and rude in handling the case. I still regret my choice to date. Unfortunately its privately owned so you can only address issues with the useless front desk.

A nice little hotel which is very convenient to Paddington Station and Kensington Palace. Fair price for what you get. Only fault was the poor water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was simple but tasty.

Friendly staff, Smallest hotel room I have ever been in. Shower barely enough room for 1 person. No A/C in room but a cozy hotel.

We were there over Pentecost. The Room was very small. Location great! Unfortunately, we were stolen from the hotel room for the E-book and the Staff were neither really trying to help us nor were we offered Compensation (at least as a nice Touch).

By far the worst hotel room I ever lived in. There was black mold on the wall by the window in the room. The beds had absolutely no comfort (you could feel every spring in the mattress). The breakfast was minimalistic. The one star is because of the personel that did their best to help thoug they could not do enough, and because the hotel is located near Paddington station. I strongly suggest you look for another alternative for your visit. Atleast until they solve the mold issue!

The hotel itself was nice, the room's decoration was lovely and the complimentary breakfast was delicious.

Location of hotel is the only thing that's good about it as its about 5 mins walk to the tube. Staff are always in a bad mood, and seem to not be interested in doing more than check in/out and watch YouTube videos! Bathroom is the smallest I've ever been in and I travel quite a bit. No toiletries provided.

The worst hotel I have been to in my life. 1. My wallet and wrist watch were stolen from the hotel room. (I didn't even get any sympathy from staff when I reported) 2. Stayed in 3rd floor and there was no lift. 3. Cleaning was below standard. In the 8 days of my stay no bedside table was wiped. On the last day there were still stains from day 1. 4. Showergels were not replaced. 5. Towels were old and torn. 6. Rooms are very small.

Room looks fairly maintained, breakfast is continental but satisfying. However suffered flea bites in hotel bed. Booking service and hotel both did not proactively handle this case.

Without a lift they put us in a room on a fourth floor, with lousy stairs, being those of the last two floors of snail. The location is good but in the area there are plenty of hotels, with this we will not repeat.

This hotel give you false pictures of their rooms, so it looks bigger than they are. We cannot recommend this hotel at all. The only positive thing we can say about this hotel, is the location. Stay away although it is cheap.

I stayed at this hotel for 11 nights in a party of 5. The room/bathroom is clean. The staff are helpful and attentive. The included breakfast is good and plentiful. The elevator/lift is small but we are OK with moving bags using the stairs. The hotel location is very good, just a few minutes from Paddington railway station, Paddington Underground station and Lancaster Gate Underground station. They give easy access to Bakeroo, District and Circle and Central underground lines. It is also very easy to catch a train to Windsor Castle or Oxford (on GWR) from Paddington railway station. I used Heathrow Express and it takes only 15 minutes on the train from Heathrow airport to Paddington station (tip: buy advanced tickets to save on Heathrow Express and skip the line). We tried some buses going through the neighborhood too. Routes 23 and 94 go through the major shopping areas of Oxfords Street and Regent Street. We visited during Christmas and you can't beat the view sitting at the front row in the upper deck of the bus enjoying all the Christmas lights along the route. There are banks (Barclays or HSBC on Spring Street) nearby for ATM. There are supermarkets or convenience stores that either open late or 24 hours, literally within the same block. We tried the Indian and Italian restaurants within 3 blocks of the hotel and they are good. Pub and Chinese take-out are available in the neighborhood too.

Poor maintenance. Staff didn't respond to us stuck in elevator — kitchen staff finally rescued us. Supposedly renovating soon so this property matches others in group. Breakfast included, which was nice.

Fine if you want a bed for the night in central London at a really cheap rate, but you get what you pay for! Traffic noise outside my window was unbearable and ongoing, no sleep at all.

The service is quite delay, hotel quality is below three star, is overrated! The room booked is not as shown and even wrong type!

It is a shame of hotel, we were surprised just enter the room of how small it was, to go to use the shower the faucet did not mix properly the hot and cold water, the TV control did not work properly, when leaving the bathroom (tiny) There was a metal cover where previously was lodged a switch, because the lid was cramped, I know why we gave to the three of us, all this is discussed to the receptionist and if Q went up to see it but stayed everything as it was. The mattresses of shame. The small elevator cannot exceed 150 kilos. The breakfast was good.

Stayed there for 4 nights and liked it very much. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had a room with a double bed on the first floor on the streetside. Room was small but clean, has modern furnishing and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was included and had enough choice (eggs, sausages, bread, yoghurt, coffee, thee, fruit. ). The location is superb, ~100m walk to Paddington station, Lancaster gate and Hydepark. Great quality for the price you pay.

Small hotel, very small rooms, clean and with everything you need to stay after a sightseeing. Room to street slightly noisy, enough outlets also available in Bettnähe.

The elevator is tiny, the room of three adults and a child consists of a bed of 1, 35 and another of 0, 90 and the bathroom is dwarf in RL Basin does not enter a hand.

My worst hotel experience ever; three stars are clearly a misunderstanding. Dirty, cramped room in the basement. I found rubbish laying on the floor as well as plenty of hair (! ) on bathroom floor.
And shower walls were black with mold. … Raising a complaint doesn't do any good; I was promised a call from hotel's manager but that never happened. Avoid for your own comfort, health and safety.

The right hotel. The breakfast was very good. Personally I had an incident with the DNI-I forgot and they did not give it back to me when I checked out but the worst thing is that it took more than 2 weeks to send it by mail despite I wrote several times claiming. I do not serve apologies because I think it could have been solved sooner and better with a little professionalism.

I've no idea how this hotel can be a 3 star one. What's welcomed me were pieces of strange strings on the floor, cables sticking out of the wall, room in the basement was a little more than walls built around a bed, the only clean object in this room. Wifi was also very flaky and door lock didn't shut properly without extra effort. Due to late night checkin I didn't follow up with staff another room and wish I had… as later on I had a closer look at the bathroom — and the shower was all black with mold. Bathroom floor was covered with hair which made the whole experience disgusting. To feel at least a bit safe, I had to cover the floor with towels to step on. And apparently the room has been "cleaned" as there were fresh towels and bed made. I didn't dare to try breakfast in this filthy place. Oh, and despite requesting receipt during the booking, I wasn't given one. They've also not responded to my email yet. I'm definitely not going to stay at Brunel ever again. Stay away for your own safety and well being.

Very tiny but nice rooms. The shower head is stationary in the roof. Very helpful and efficient personel. Breakfast room very small. The elevator only fits one person and one suitcase, its slower than a crippled snail.

Small but comfortable Hotel located in a great spot.

Got bitten a lot by bed bugs. Told front desk about it and they said they'd fix it but the bugs were still there. Thankfully I didn't feel the itch until after the vacation but I had bites covering both my arms and my legs. Location is good and staff seem nice but it isn't worth it.

Small hotel not too expensive and close to a subway giving access to all the activities of London.

We were supposed to have a mini fridge. We asked for it and four days after we were still waiting for it.

I spent five days, four nights at this nice hotel located in a strategic point of London, close to the Metro. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I found in Fabrizio receptionist and who spoke Italian (true Sicilian gentlemen, a good help that I was very helpful to move better in visiting the city. The cost of the hotel then considering the City of London did not result excessive. Nice experience; I count to return again and thank you and I greet Fabrizio that I did not greet the day of my departure as it was resting. Lorenzo and Loredana.

Good location, near Hyde Park and Paddington Station. The room was clean but small and no air conditioner. Staff were nice and helpful.

I was there for 4 days. The hotel is in a good location in the heart of London. Paddington Station is a 5 minute walk away. The rooms are very small by U. S. Standards, and the elevator didn't go to the fourth floor where I was at. The staff was very friendly and the hotel has a good continental breakfast. I would stay there again.

The room (room # 002) is extremely small! The bed is a size of bathtub and if you missed to turn in the night u will fall down. The room was not having AC facility. Small fan was there (as in small) in my 3rd night it was not working and It was disaster. Breakfast is okay (not as good) no bacon. Staff was nice especially kitchen staff. The good in this Hotel is 3 minutes walk to Paddington station. And when u stepped out a lot of shops. Overall it's just okay for short stay and solo traveler. Not recommended to a family holiday.

The rooms in the lower floor are very small, but cozy. Would not recomend it if you have more than one bag. The top floors though have great modern rooms with more space. Breakfast and Front Desk services were very good.

“Poor customer service, terrible manners and lack of communication. ” The only plus is the location. It was great for the central lines of the tube. Staff were exceptionally unhelpful and very rude concerning a mistake made by one of the hotel staff, Fabrizio. We were offered a room upgrade upon arriving and checking in. On the second day of our trip we returned to our hotel room and found all of our personal belongings were missing. I had to go down to the reception to find out what had happened. While we where out sight seeing they had changed our room without notice. This was never communicated that the room upgrade would last one night. What was even more disturbing was no staff had communicated that our personal belongs which included: clothes, money, Electronic equipment such as ipad and medication had been moved without bring notified. And even more poor customer service as I had to go and ask why our belongings where not in the room. Every time we spoke to hotel staff concerning this administration mistake made by Fabrizio, we were made out to be liars, or told to wait until the next day when a manager would be available. No manager was available to talk to us during the stay at the hotel. Extremely poor customer service. Poor manners, lack of consideration for the guest and the hotel reception staff did not possess the managerial skills to defuse what was a stressful situation.

3 people in Triple-room; Very hot without A/C, but apparently they're in plans of installation. Small room, including bathroom. Okay beds and okay breakfast. No beans : (. Short walk to the tube.

March 2015 402 room the bathroom is really very small sink is a washing hands no pressure in the shower. No room for toiletries cases and hang clothes or towels. Attention l s elevator stop on the 3 floor and the 4 floor is served by a very steep staircase. The hotel is well located and clean.

Building dated but well kept. Linen and cleaning the breakfast acceptable downside. The bathroom. 90 cm x 140 cm shower included. But the important thing is to be in London.
