Near Aldgate East, well connected. Rooms well planned with all necessary equipments for a long stay. Decent gym and a good restaurant. All in all a good experience.

Really helpful staff, good rooms, great views. I had a few issues but the staff did everything they could to rectify the problems. Bar and restaurant also great service and really good food. I'd recommend the BBQ in the summer.

We stayed here on our honeymoon earlier this month and it was lovely. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, the staff was so nice and helpful. There is a nice coffee shop in the front of the hotel which was convenient, and the tube station was only a block away, which made getting around super easy! The only downside was the bathroom, (and everything else more than made up for it) was there was no tub in the bathroom, just a squeegee so the floor got really wet. There were also no plugs in the bathroom, only for shavers. But that makes sense with the wet floor! I would stay here again in a heart beat!

Gorgeous room with a well equipped kitchen for making breakfast. The chocolates and coffee etc are a nice touch.

Nice apartment-hotel in the decoration and the tidy layout, ultra clean and functional. Very well located in London, close to many subway lines. The staff are charming and attentive (special mention to Samira who warmly greeted us and found a room already available at our arrival at 10.30 am).
Sound insulation is the only shade of our stay and could be improved: awakened by two times by neighbors in the hallways.

Really was like home from home. Brilliant location, close to tube station. All the tiny details necessary to make you feel comfortable. Even a little blanket so you can snuggle up on the sofa whilst watching TV in your little 'apartment'. Staff could not have been more helpful. I will be booking here again and I suspect this will be several times too. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic comfy modern hotel in a great location with views of the gherkin. Lots of space & amenities for a good price. Delicious breakfast & cocktails too (not at the same time).

Modern and exceptionally clean. Lots of clever details if you're observant. My favourite was that the selection of random old books in the reception were by various authors with Locke in the name ;)

Only a year old, and still very nice. One minute from Aldgate East tube station. No car park. No restaurant, but full kitchen in every room. Good value for money.

The room was nice, but too much focus was put on design rather than comfort and usability. CONS: The sofa is itchy, the chairs are uncomfortable to work on the table, the round bed table too small for my taste. It is very positive that the hotel comes with accessible en-suite bathrooms, but it can be a bit uncomfortable in the long term: the shower has no box, so the whole bathroom would get wet every time, the sink is extremely small, the toilet small and high. TV streaming would freeze half of the times (probably due to the Apple TV not being to process the video fast enough). What I found most disappointing though are the lights! Spot lights everywhere that would light specific points leaving the rest in the dark: no light on half of the table, bright light on the bed but no light on and in the cabinet. The lights on the side of the bed are brighter than the main one, which can come to an advantage since you can point them where you need to see. Finally the lifts are ridiculous! Two lifts, one of them is almost always not moving, while you wait for the other one for minutes. Especially in the morning I had to wait up to 5 minutes for the lift to pass me, stop on everything floor on the way back and finally take me downstairs. PROS: The room was always very clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable and spacious and the room at the entrance is handy to leave your bags and coats. Similarly, the bench in that area makes it very comfortable to tie/untie your shoes.

I love the Locke, it is cozy and convenient! Just a 1 min walk to Algate East Station and 3 min walk to Algate Station! New furnished and a great place to plan your stay!

Home from home. A trendy apart-hotel with everything you need including TV with iPhone mirroring. Parking nearby through Just Park for £10 also. It's clean, comfy, friendly and affordable with great views. It's my fourth visit. Close to shops and next to Aldgate East train station and out of congestion charge zone if you want to drive. The UMA music events are great too. Excellent place to take meetings in their coffee shop.

Really great service and big rooms for a good Budget.

Great location. Across from a subway stop Trendy and clean rooms. New building so working out some kinks but nothing major.

The stuff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The room is a little bit small comparing to the pictures but it's well equipped. (we were on the 15th floor). Great view. It's right next to an underground so it's comfortable to go anywhere you want in London.

Beautiful modern apartment with everything you need in a great location. Minor issue with the microwave was rectified quickly.

Booked because it was close to my office, not too expensive and looked pretty good. The hotel is clearly very new, very hip and in keeping with the mood of Whitechapel. The room was excellent — the kitchen I didn't use was spotless and well equipped, the living area was comfy with some nice touches and the bed was excellent, even if it was very close to the 'wardrobe'. There's a lot of choice round there for a hip hotel room, but for the right price I would definitely return.

Great place, new hotel with studio apartment, we spent a wonderful weekend there feeling like home. Staff is really friendly and professional, kitchen is perfect to prepare your own food and meet friends. Aldgate East station is a short walk (zone 1).
