I phoned and booked a table for the 13th December and told them it was for my mums 90th birthday so l was annoyed to find benches round the table when we arrived, but did get a chair for her after l asked. There were seven of us using Groupon Vouchers for a main meal and three other family members who were going to choose from the main menu. None of us wanted a starter as we were going to have a desert. We waited over an hour for our food to be served which was mainly rib-eye steak (very nice) and sea bass the fries took another ten minutes with the pepper sauce arriving at the end of the meal. The sea bass was lovely but had nearly finished our meal before my mums mash potato and her vegetables turned up, l know restaurants like to serve vegetables al'dente but this selection was very hard, l was given the wrong salad with the right one turning up at the end of the meal. One of the family ordered a bacon cheeseburger that arrived without the bacon and cheese but with a bap that was not toasted but felt like it had been taken out of the fridge . We were all very disappointed and did not want to bother with desert Our waiter did his best running backwards and forwards to the kitchen while other members of staff were just standing around. One other came over to hep him when they realized things were going wrong The part of the family that ordered from the main menu were told that they would not be charged for there meal. But as l had paid upfront with vouchers was not offered anything. NOT that we were out for a freebie l just wanted my old mum to enjoy a family dinner for her 90th birthday. Although staff were pleasant l felt that we were not worth the effort was it because we were using Groupon Vouchers… l dont know. All this on a Sunday and they were not even busy WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT SO THERE WAS NO EXCUSE. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED and we wont be back.
