We stayed here last weekend where we received a warm welcome from Pádraig on arrival. I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Killarney. The house is beautiful and very well maintained, within walking distance of the town centre. The breakfast and service was top class also. Good off road parking and reasonably priced considering the location.

Lovely place to stay in Killarney. We had a beautiful room on the ground floor. The owner was very friendly and courteous. The breakfast was great. Numerous pubs and the city centre were within walking distance. We will be happy to come back!

Warm welcome on arrival. Patrick very helpful in guiding us for sightseeing routes. Rooms large and Fuchsia House perfect location for short walk into town with adequate parking for all guests. Good choices for breakfast and waitress constantly topping up fresh coffee / tea. We would recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to book again should we be in the area.

I was very happy over this place until I should pay the bill! The wouldn't take my card! They take every Euro I had (140) and the rest from my Card (120! Realy hope The TAX authories take a look at this!

Unbeatable Service, good location and cozy, but not a four star hotel, but a B&B, and with dining room with limited capacity, so the longer you go down to breakfast/eat/Dine you'll have table or you'll have to wait. I repeat that the service is the best.

The Fuchsia House was wonderful! The room was clean and comfortable and there was no noise from outside. The staff was warm and helpful and cared about our comfort. The breakfast far exceeded our expectations. I would love to stay here again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at the Fuchsia House guest house. We came for St Paddy’s day and stayed two nights. The room was spacious, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was awesome to be near everything without having to stay right in the thick of it. Also Erica was just the most delightful woman. Would stay here again for sure!

Beautiful house, spacious rooms, great breakfast, a real gem!

Stayed for 4 nights in late September 2011. Superb standard, and the most friendly owners we have ever met. (Neal even drove us to the airport when we were leaving… and its about 20 miles away! ) The rooms are of the highest quality, with linen on the beds (no duvets) and the decor is simply lovely. If you go on their website you will see a load of photos of their establishment. Thats what we did. The breakfast was of a similar high standard. One of the give aways at poorer hotels and guest houses is a cheap quality of bacon, and most often, the sausages. Both were lovely and tasty. The other thing that usually really bugs me about hotels is a hard, lumpy and uncomfortable bed… but at Fucshia House the beds are really nice and comfortable, again indicative of a quality matress. I suppose thats how we would sum up Fucshia House… quality. (the only thing that wasnt perfect was the weather!. But Neal & Marie have no say in that. It is South West Ireland after all…) The location is fine also, being just a 7 or 8 minute stroll into Killarney centre. You would be making a wise choice by trying it for yourself.
