HOTELAZO, with all the letters, in capital letters and, if I could, I would put emojis of fireworks around. I had never been in a place where the famous, but non-existent in daily life, Domotics was the real protagonist of the place, leaving you with your mouth open with every action to perform in the room.
The first thing that stands out when you arrive at this hotel is the decoration of the entrance hall and the absence of a traditional reception and the use. There is a receptionist (usually Spanish) and a number of computers where you can check-in and manage your entrance to the hotel in a totally independent way. If you need help, the boys help you nicely.
After discovering how the elevator works, that does not move if you do not pass the key of your door through the sensor, you go up to your room and there begins the show. It is a cubicle that reminds the Japanese Love Hotels but without those claims. All distributed in a single space with the only separation of the toilet and the shower, obviously, not to splash the rest. Even the sink and mirror are integrated into the room.
The bed is a square enormity attached to the bottom window and that measures more than two meters: you can lie down diagonally and you still have plenty of bed everywhere. That's great. It has a custom Samsung tablet by the hotel where you control the entire room. From the color of the light that can go to your choice going through thematic settings (cinema, work, party, sex …) that will modify the light, lower the shades and even put music for you, just playing that option on the tablet.
In addition, we have available hundreds of international TV channels, access to dozens of movies via VOD (even pornographic, yes, I had to check it) totally free to see when you want. The tablet also has a children's mode to avoid access to adult content.
To top it off, if you're lucky, from the room you can see a little bit of the Shard, the skyscraper The Shard (310 meters high, the largest in the European Union) whose visit, by the way, is essential.
