Nice and clean. Elevators to the upper floors. Breakfast was more than a continental breakfast. Had plenty to choose from to get the day started. About a 10-minute walk from the nearest Tube Station. Not bad unless you're lugging 4 large suitcases. Walked back late at night one night and it seemed relatively safe.

I stayed there on a business trip. Rooms very well equipped and spacious. Great breakfast and always had a bar supper. Unfortunately the evening meals were a bit of a let down. I ordered chicken fajitas, the filling was tasty, but the wrap had obviously been kept warm in an oven or microwaved, although the waitress denied this. I was able to stand the wrap up!

Amazing helpful staff. They simply can't do enough to help you. What ever we have needed they have done it.

Generally I liked my stay at the hotel. Room was clean, but a bit small. My dinner was good and the location is not bad (9 min walk to the subway). The staff was friendly. The breakfast was not great, but normal compared to chain hotels with an English breakfast. My biggest complaint was every morning I found at least 1 or 2 dishes or silverware that had dried on food stuck to them. This seems to be a systematic issue as it happened 3 days in a row. They have a small bar.

I don't give the fifth star because the beds are quite uncomfortable (we booked a triple for 2 adults and a child, in this case teenager, and we got a room with a double bed and sofa bed, the sofa bed has a super thin mattress and sinks a lot and the bed Of marriage also hunen the 2 people to the center), the opposite of the pillows that are fantastic. To highlight the good attention of the reception staff and room cleaning especially. Good location with public transport and totally silent the rooms.

Well priced for its location. Beds comfortable and rooms clean, but could definately do with a refurb. Breakfast included in rate and reasonable quality. Staff very friendly and helpful. About 7 minutes walk from Westfield. Would stay again.

The hotel was nice and the staff helpful… the room was basic, but there where no power pound near my bed… the Wi-Fi only worked when I had my laptop on the bed… the breakfast was good and there where plenty of options… I would stay in this hotel again.

Great hotel with very good value for money. Clean rooms and bathrooms, good service. There were, among other things, hard and soft pillows to choose from, which is important for me personally, because I tend to have neck pain in normal hotel pillows. The air conditioning system (which cools and heats) can be regulated by yourself. The breakfast was minted in English but perfect for my taste. There were freshly made toast, croissants, cereal, yogurt, fruit, scrambled eggs, sweet spreads, fried bacon and sausages (also vegetarian), with many varieties of coffee, tea and fruit juice. The Stratford train station (subway, buses and railways) is 10 minutes away, but you can also take the bus to the train station a few metres from the hotel. The tube takes you a good half hour to the city centre. We had a room back out (6th floor) which was completely quiet. At the reception we were also asked explicitly if we wanted a higher or lower floor.

First weekend away for me and my partner. Staff could not do enough to help on arrival and made me aware they were only a telephone call or a pop down to reception away. Our room was massive and comfy. Best night sleep I ever had. Quick 2 stops on a bus away from Westfield Stratford. Breakfast was lovely for the 2 days we had it. Selection of contential and cereals and fruit. Beans were so nice. Scrambled egg slightly watery. 2nd night we ordered food and brought it to our room and it was delightful and pleasant. Free newspapers and magazines. Free tea and coffee in the room. Returning in May!

I have stayed here a few times and on more than one occasion the staff have gone out of their way to help. Today we got in early from Heathrow and the hotel had been full the night before, so an early check in seemed impossible. However, the staff offered us breakfast and made a plan and by 9am we had a room. Well done.

Nice hotel in a good location. Clean and comfortable. Was a bit of external noise coming from cars and air con generators. The breakfast was nice but the coffee was poor. There is also a Tesco nearby which is handy.

Hotel close to the exhibition hall Excel (6 minutes by taxi approximately). The Hotel is very well connected There is no safe in the rooms or iron, but on the fourth floor there is a room for that purpose. Breakfast is included and is buffet although slightly limited in variety. The rooms are suitable for overnight stay but not to "make life in them". It has Wi-Fi connection, although for some reason the first day I did not appear the login window and therefore would not let me navigate. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very clean and well connected hotel. The breakfast offers a great selection and the staff is very friendly. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Just around the corner is the Olympic Park, as well as a tube station and numerous shopping opportunities. We would love to come back!

Top service, all very nice and friendly. Had 4 double and 1 room had to be UMVERLEGT, WG color odor. Everything worked out smoothly. Breakfast very tasty and adequate. Ings. Our 2nd bsearch in the HIExpress and will be preferred in this chain to continue checking in!

One of the best hotel in Stratford area of london. Food quality is the best. Complementary breakfast is available free for all guests. Room are very specious and cleanly maintain. But rates are very high. Staff is very cooperative.

Nice distance from the train. There is quite a lot to try as far as food goes. The rooms are very nice. Breakfast is included which is great. Unfortunately no room service. The staff is very friendly.

Utterly awful hotel. Yes, some aspects were okay but to be truthful a huge majority of things were beyond disappointing. Customer service is quite poor and I don't blame the staff themselves — they look as if they have been enslaved and used like dogs. I'm quite annoyed to be honest. I overheard many staff talking about how bad their day was and how they can't cope with the hotels demands and even to pay their own rent. Food was okay but not amazing compared to other hotels I've been to in London. One star to due to this, do not go here.

I stayed one night in the Holiday Inn Express in August 2017. Staff were pleasant. The bedroom was functional, comfortable and surprisingly quiet given the stadium event that afternoon. I would have rated this review five stars if there were more vegetarian choices for the buffet breakfast, but found the warm choices limited to scrambled eggs and baked beans.

Very quiet and nice place for stay. Friendly staff, healthy breakfast and true value for money. It is pretty near to the Stratford station and market, just 10 minutes of walk. Perfect place for tourists. Happy to have stayed here.

We have just returned from a two day stay at this hotel. The staff were excellent and helpful. Unfortunately we had to curtail our stay and did not expect a refund, but the reception staff immediately refunded my account. We will certainly stay there next year when we enter the Prudential Ride London 2018! The hotel is close to Stratford stations and ideal for the Olympic Park.

Too bad it is very far from downtown but still the service is good.

A few metres from Stratford Metro where you will find one of the largest shopping malls in Europe. The hotel is clean and the staff very versatile. The rooms are not very spacious but cozy.

Visited the Holiday Inn Express Stratford all the way from TEXAS! Very convenient, clean hotel. Even had a window view of the Olympic Stadium. Breakfast and other served food was excellent. Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly and dubbed us as the "best guests they've ever had. " And you know what? I believe them! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

10 minute walk from Stratford station. Room was a good size, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was okay but pretty good for the price. Decent value overall.

From out ward look it was not impressive but once in a very friendly staff, neat room, may be improvement is required in toiletries Very convenient connection to the heart of the city. The mall nearby has everything at reasonable price the restaurants at the mall serve food from different countries wish there was an Indian restaurant also. A pity the hotel does not serve lunch but the breakfast is great.

I give it 3 starts for cleanliness, breakfast is included in your package. The other 2 starts is for location. Close to Westfield mall, an hour away from all attractions and the train station is right there. If you're looking for 5 star hotel in terms of looks. Not it.

A very reasonably priced hotel handy for Stratford tube and train station. There are several excellent pubs nearby to get away from standard hotel bar. Breakfast buffet decent despite the area being a bit crowded on a Sunday morning.

We stayed over the recent half-term break for a last minute trip to London. Great location within a few minutes walk of Stratford station. The room was perfectly clean and above my expectations for such an affordable price. The complementary breakfast could satisfy any picky eater, and gave us that great start we needed for a busy day. I would easily stay at this location again and again.

Ideal location for visiting either the Olympic Park or for shopping at Westfield. Good facilities and good quality breakfast. Good transport links for all routes across London Limited local options to eat or drink away from the hotel, but with the transport links exploring a little further is not too much trouble.

It was July 2014 when we stayed at this hotel which was recommended to us by my sister who stays there on short trips from the Isle of Wight. We came all the way from Australia not to be dissapointed. We have travelled to and stayed in 5 Star hotels all over the world. This hotel held its own and its staff were fantastic.

Incredibly unhelpful staff. I am a company secretary for a very loyal client of Holiday Inn. We called the Hotel in Stratford as the Hotel had incorrectly accepted a parcel for the hotel down the road despite having no guest staying there under that name. Then after calling twice and speaking to a male with a very strong French accent who did not understand what I was saying I was also put on hold and disconnected. When I did get through they refused to deliver said parcel down the road to the correct hotel. I believe this to be a shocking experience and most certainly will ensure we do not use this basic hotel in future. Big mistake from your rude and amateur staff.

Over the 3rd week in March 2014, I stayed here for the Tony Robbins conference, I was very impressed by the quality of service, speed of service and location. The staff were all friendly and met my requirements perfectly.

Cheap for London. Good quality, great location, close to Metro and a shopping mall with dozens of restaurants and more than 200 shops.

Before arriving at the Holiday Inn at Stratford I look up the reviews, this hotel got a 100% Superb in reviews and I chose this hotel because of that. The price for two nights was outrageously cheap so I was not expecting much. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE! This hotel is in the perfect spot, right in the center of the Westfield Mall and only a short walk to the underground. The hotel itself was so so so nice! I felt like I was at a five star hotel. Very clean. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE. If you are wondering if you should stay here and are reading this review — DO IT! I promise you will not regret it. I am in American who went on holiday in London and it was such a great experience! Thanks Holiday Inn! being next to the mall all the time wasn't to bad either ;).

I have stayed in this hotel a number of times and feel welcome and am looked after during my stays. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The facilities are good, comfortable and well maintained, The staff are knowledgeable, courteous and very helpful. The restaurant serves great food and the service is always good. The location is great, just near Westfield so easy parking and lots to do. Having stayed in other hotels in the area, I will now always go back to this Holiday Inn.

Not a place to stay for more than 2 days. They don't have even basic amenities: water, ice, press, internet (need to buy a voucher for internet! ). Breakfast will be finished within an hour. Even the place is bit dull. Only positive: near to train station.

Great price (on the weekend) and great place. Although the room wasn't huge (we have two pre-teen daughters), they had the extra bed out for us, already made up and the rooms were nice, clean and new. The bathrooms were great and the breakfast was superb for the price. For everyone of us to be able to eat like we did, it was a great deal. The desk staff was exceptionally friendly and the location was great. It is right across the street from the bus, which goes downtown to everything a tourist can wish for, and it's a ten minute walk from the Tube. The next time we go back, we'll be staying here.
