Very quiet as we went in early but the bar staff were very helpful and friendly.
Food was awesome, will be back soon.

Amazing staff, fabulous food. The burger was literally to die for and woke up the next morning still licking my lips thinking about it! couldnt fault a single moment since we walked in the door. Completely made our night. Would recommend to anyone and everyone and will 100% be returning as often as possible.

Good food. A bit pricey for Sunday lunch but still enjoyed it. Unfortunately the service was terrible. Our table was at 2pm and left at 3.50. We only had a main and a coffee! need more staff. The staff were very pleasant just not enough of them.

Love going to the Crown Inn been going for drinks for years but decided to have a roast dinner today was very disappointed with it, extremely small portion not worth the money at all, wouldnt eat roast dinner there again.

I would like to praise Tracy and her staff, they all do a really great job. I have watched Tracy dealing with difficult customers and difficult situations and I always think she handles it very well. I couldn’t do her job! ⭐️

Lovely place and staff are all amazing, Tracey is very lovely and friendly amazing lady, she's the owner of the hotel her hospitality was outstanding we booked another night because we lived it that much.

Really nice pub, food is amazing, friendly staff, has a garden at the side of the building, worth a visit, if your local make it your local.

Good atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. One of few pubs that sell Asahi beer. Update: December 2017. They no longer sell Asahi's lager which is real shame. The Bear Island IPA is a nice beer instead. The accommodation is really nice with great views over the common.

My 93 year old mother-in-law stayed there. Fantastic B and B room. The staff could not have done more. Even though they do not serve breakfast in the room, they made an exception for her. Highly recommended.

Nice friendly place, rooms are nice with free convient toiletries. Foods great. Slightly noisey floors and doors with it being an old building especially when the rest of the guests are inconsiderate. But still a nice place. Been back twice.

On arrival the Crown Inn looks nice and is in a lovely area that belies its proximity to central London. Staff were friendly and the bar and restaurant were pleasant — the food was great! My room was a good size and well-appointed if a little in need of an update. The bathroom was clean but the extractor fan was possibly the loudest I've experienced and I was worried that it may be disturbing other guests. The bed was comfortable and I would have slept very well were it not for a loud fan or generator or something running outside all night. Overall I had a pleasant stay but I would warn potential guests that this hotel is totally inflexible with regards to deferring a stay — this was a business trip and I was unable to stay on my original booked date due to the location I was visiting being closed because of snow. I wanted to defer my stay rather than cancelling altogether and they were immovable on the subject, so I have essentially paid twice for one night.

Lovely, helpful staff. Great room, it was stunning, comfortable, spacious, well presented and very clean. The food was lovely we had dinner and breakfast and I couldn't fault it in any way. We had a fantastic experience and hope to go again soon.

The Crown is a place to go if you what a quiet drink where you can can talk without shouting. Decor is a little tired now, but I guess they aren't getting enough profits to give the pub a makeover.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Issue was with food. I had chicken roast dinner and everything other than the chicken was absolutely fine, it was let down by the amount of chicken. There may as well been 1 drumstick on the plate for the amount of meat I got. And the skin wasn't crispy it was slimy and soft. Expected a little bit more for 13 pound.

Good pub, nice rooms, friendly staff, good food. Parking bit sparse but you can park on the road. Will stay again when I'm in the area.

Came in as a family way before anyone else, 5 people. Waited over an hour for our food, first we were told after an hour, 10 more minutes, then 20 minutes after that we were told the food is being put on the plate. Food never showed up.

Had a fantastic evening here last night celebrating my Dads 80th Birthday the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble the food was so delicious everyone enjoyed it and it all came piping hot and on time despite there being 20 of us I cannot thank them enough for helping to make my dads birthday such a special one they all did a great job lovely venue we stayed overnight and the room was lovely I would highly recommend it and will definitely be going back.

Friendly pub on Chislehurst Common. Good for Sunday lunch in particular, although restaurant can get busy, and it may help to book ahead, or you can eat in the bar. Good beer. I understand accommodation is available, but have never stayed there.

Much improved since our last visit. Good beer, good service, good food and now some decent vegan options, too.

This hotel was beautiful and ideally located in the heart of Chislehurst, our only issue was that there was no hot water when we arrived at 3pm which made getting ready for a friend's party a bit chilly, but the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was lovely and clean with everything we needed and there was plenty of hot water in the morning and a lovely breakfast. We also enjoyed touring the caves that Richard one of the staff recommended to us.

Dog friendly pub with village green vibrations. Wi fi strong and beer includes Spitfire. Went every night while in the area.

Welcoming and with an understated elegance, spotlessly clean, friendly, helpful staff, car park if you're early, plenty of road parking if you're not.

Booked restaurant for a family birthday lunch. The service was good and the staff friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the food was a disaster we had the beef roast dinner which was presented so undercooked it was blood red in places and obviously raw.
Won't be back for a roast dinner but enjoyed the bar.

Food normally good here. My wife's meat (roast beef) was a bit too tough but my lamb was lovely.

Mixed meal, large group of us, starter was fab, main was re heated and tough and pudding was nothing special. Shame had heard good things from friends!

Friendly staff, always a good menu that's a mixture of modern and traditional pub food. Good wine and well served ale. Sport on the TV and regular pub quizzes if that's your thing as well. Good for everyone including the dog!

This is basically my local. Staff all friendly and helpful and a nice rural pubby atmosphere. Has a bar, separate restaurant area and very nice out door area. Only had bar food which is ok, feel food could be better. Some lovely walks nearby so great place for a pint after a nice walk. Recommended.

We had a lovely family lunch here a few weeks ago. The staff were friendly and there were specials on offer. The beer was good and the food was great. We all left fed and watered. Parking can be a bit of a niggle, so be ready for a short walk.

We spent the night there for a family celebration a few months ago. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. The twin room we had was comfortable and well furnished. The location and room overlooking the green was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and freshly cooked. After we'd checked out I realised I'd forgotten our phone chargers, when I went back, the staff had tried to contact me but didn't have my mobile number and were going to post them, which was a pleasant surprise (I've stopped in some place where anything left after check out automatically disappears). Excellent service, would highly recommend The Crown Inn.

I have been this pub sevral times in the past. And found it also to be very frendly it's also very well kept public lnn.

Nic Pub, lovely warm friendly staff. Unfortunately not so hot on the food if you are a vegan. We had two vegans in our party and just wanted a plate full of lovely roast veggies as the nut roast had milk in it so we couldn't have it. We got the veggies, but they dished out exactly the same amount and did not compensate for the lack of meat. We also got charged the full amount! Penalised for being a vegan! Very poor!

Stayed here for two nights for work. Very nice and quiet room with a nice en-suite. The pub is full of life and the food is delicious.
