The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars was because it doesn't have a swimming pool. Staff are lovely and one particular eastern European lady who works behind the bar is so friendly and was so nice too me during my stay. The food is really nice and cooked to order. The breakfast is The atmosphere is really nice and has a calm relaxing feel too it. Rooms are very clean and modern too.

We arranged a 50th birthday here and were given a private room for our event which made it extra special. The staff were very attentive to us and did a great job looking after us. The food is great value for money and portion are big. We had small children in our party too and everyone had a great time. I only took a photo of the ham hock which was a sharing plate for two. It was delicious as we're the other dishes our party had.

Great old pub, lovely high ceilings, super beer garden. Extensive menu and great selection of beer, not quite such an extensive wine list and whilst the food was good, portions aren't massive and it's far from cheap. Really friendly staff and it's certainly one of the best in the locale.

We love it here. Some fab prosecco and lovely food to go with it. The beer garden is gorgeous in the sunshine and the staff are friendly. They do a great brunch and Sunday lunch. All round guaranteed good time!

We stayed here for three weeks with a toddler and a new born whilst our place was being decorated. The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The rooms were stylish and clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Every detail of the room was thought about including gourmet teas and coffee, bottles of water, shampoos, conditioners and body wash, vintage lighting which offered nice mood lighting, desk, books, glasses, table and chairs etc. The breakfasts and the service are outstanding and made to order with staff and the chefs always catering to our individual tastes. We noticed what a close team the staff are which really added to the charm of this hotel. To top it off the train station is right across the road taking you to central London in 10 minutes. You can’t beat value for money in London!

The guest beers are somewhat variable but reasonably well kept. The pub attracts a good crowd and the food is a quality product with the chefs striving to make a real go of things. I've been here a couple of times lately and the staff are cheerful and obliging. Somewhat better than the nearest other pub I think.

This is perhaps the best pub in London for a Sunday afternoon. Great menu, friendly staff, lovely decor and vibe, and good selection of beers (a slightly better range of local craft beers would make this pub faultless). Overall, a really fantastic pub!

Stayed a couple of nights on business and was pleasantly surprised that I had made a great decision to stay there. Modern clean room with attentive friendly and helpful staff and great food and drink in the bar. I also liked the fact it had guest parking and the carpark was gated and locked overnight. I will definitely use this hotel again if I have business in that area in the future.

Lovely place for a drink after work. Good range of beers on tap. Only downside is it can get a little cold in the bar area.

We had dinner and drinks the staff were pleasant, the selection of beer/ale is great, the food was very good. The atmosphere is nice. It is a great spot to catch up with friends as you can hear each other talk which is not a common virtue in pubs these days.

A pub with a real buzz about it. Always seems lively and full of happy people enjoying a drink and a chat. After all, surely that's what pubs are for. And excellent range of real ales and ciders. Music may be a little loud but then perhaps adds to the vigrant atmosphere. In warmer months a wonderful hide-a-way beer garden to the rear which is a real gem.

Was at the Tulse Hill Hotel for a baby shower — we had the newsroom booked, and it was lovely! Food was excellent (although savoury far better than sweet), and staff were lovely. Never been to a baby shower in a pub, but the Tulse Hill Hotel was perfect!

The service really made our visit to the hotel bar special. The staff were friendly, personable and passionate about the food and drink. They support local breweries and had a great range of cocktails. The food was really good too and was served quickly. The decor and lighting create a nice atmosphere without being too fussy. Well definitely be back soon.

Best Sunday roast I've had in a long time! We had the beef and the pork, everything was delicious, from the tender meat, to the crispy potatoes, to the fluffy yorkshire puddings. Great varied drink selection. Nice atmosphere, and really friendly attentive staff as well. Would love to come here in summer as they have an impressive outdoor area too. Highly recommend.

Just went in for brunch… Was a lovely restaurant with very friendly staff. Had 2 sections to eat in one was a bit louder so we went for the quiet one. Very cosy atmosphere and nice decor. Had the fry up which was perfect size and good quality produce. Looking others the other stuff on the brunch menu looked decent too. Best americano I've had in a while! Great service from (I think his name was) Mario.

Had a wonderful dinner in a relaxed environment. Decent wine with a fair selection by glass or caraffe. Now does decent value steak (and wine) night Monday's.

Good selection of craft beer. Passable real ale. High prices but a very nice place, family friendly, welcoming.

A surprisingly nice spot. The food is nice and the drinks selection very decent. It can be a bit noisy in the garden due to the close proximity of road traffic, but a great spot in the area of the train station.

Very nice atmosphere inside and outside. Didn't have the food but it looked amazing. Staff were very polite and the service at the bar as quick.

Rooms are too loud with traffic noise, food is microwaved, staff are rude and unfriendly, toilets are dirty. Nothing to recommend.

A great place for lunch. Food is good with appealing menu. Outside terrace surprisingly lovely despite being on the South Circular. Lovely service.

The Tulse Hill Hotel is a very nicely appointmented hotel, bar and restaurant. I have not stayed in the hotel, but the bar is well stocked and the restaurant is of a decent standard. The menu is a little esoteric compared to some pubs, but on the whole it is delicious. Drinks and food are a little pricey, and the pub can be a bit loud. It allows dogs and has a decent sized outside area. It's a slightly more premium experience than most pubs immediately nearby.

Nice place, great service. Shame they didn't have any sparklers though. Little umbrellas had to do.

Really good food and a good selection of ales. A nice environment with a variety of seating areas (formal dining, outdoor patio front and back, lounge area with armchairs and sofas, and classic pub tables and stools/benches). Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Trains are always delay from here going to london bridge.
