Very nice hotel, friendly staff and great rooms.

Hotel very good and appreciated the upgraded room. Sadly, breakfast did not match the standard of every thing else. Our table, complete with juice coffee and tea was cleared while we collected our cooked breakfast — which unfortunately was not that fresh or hot — saw little point in complaining as a repeat breakfast would have been the same as all the plates were cold.

The best affordable hotel close to all the amenities! The food is great and the wine is very good.

Close to Or just a ride away from most of the famous attractions.! Staff was very helpful and were quick to help. One of the best and modern experience in London for sure.

I highly recommend this hotel especial for tourist as the location is perfect for families (step out of the hotel and you are in the heart of London, no transport needed). As for the rooms they are very clean and well kept and they are good value for money too.

Advise! Downtown. The service is top notch, very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast for all preferences and naturally classic English. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable.

Very nice hotel at great location. The hotel is located near the London Eye, and 2 min walk from the Waterloo station. It's super easy to get to all London from the hotel, and the lovely crew will be happy to help. We chose "Superior Room" with London Eye view, which was very disappointed — the room was not that big and the London eye view was far from what I expected from the pictures — we only saw a tiny top of it.

The rooms are absolutely amazing! We had the Junior Suite overlooking the London Eye and Big Ben and this was incredibly beautiful! The hotel's food is also awesome and very tasteful. The fitness room is OK, but considering that a hotel has this option is amazing! People at the front desk may not be that «happy», but you do not talk with them all day either. Very central and a quiet area. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious with large windows offering nice views. Service at the front desk was excellent, a concierge took our bags for us as soon as we arrived even though we came before our check in time, then they brought our bags to our room for us. Service at the restaurant was not as great, but the food was okay.

I stayed her for 2 night, amazing hotel great location in the heart of London and close to all attractions… The room was very clean and stay very friendly, I will definitely come back to this hotel. My daughter is 7yrs and she had a blast no complaints.

If I was to rate hotel service only they would be 5 stars easy. But, since there is food on site I had to lover my rating. The food is not that good although reasonably priced. Apart from that, if you're a young family, there is no better place to stay than here. Studio rooms are spacious, they have their own kitchen area with microwave and kitchen sink. Kids goodie bags that you get at reception are brilliant and the hotel dollars for spending on ice cream and juice just make them even better. The hotel is very close (5 min walk) to London Eye and other Merlin amusements.

We booked an Executive Studio with a City view, the room is very nice with a lovely view, Waterloo Station is directly below but we couldn’t hear a thing! Staff were friendly, room was clean. Only slight negatives, buffet breakfast ok, nothing special and the bar is very expensive, drink elsewhere! We would return again!

If you ever have to stay over in central London, I can highly recommend this Hotel for your stay. This is the second time we have stayed in this Hotel now and I can give it top marks on everything. The friendly staff, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. We had a Westminster, Big Ben, London eye view from our open air balcony. Farhad one of the friendly security guys even organised a birthday cake for my wife Sandra’s big birthday.

Pros: proximity to Central London. Breakfast buffet. Cons: Room was not ready at check in (waited 30 minutes). Atrium room seemed like an afterthought — — Window in the far corner of the room gets very little light, weird shaped room. Furniture was tired/needed replaced, sink was cracked in multiple places, bathroom layout not ideal (integrated shower with curtain? ), walls were scuffed and dirty, carpets were showing wear and fraying. The pictures shown from the Hotel are very nice, perhaps from updated rooms that have outdoor-facing windows. We booked through Trafalgar, so looks like we got the sub-standard rooms.

Extremely comfortable and clean room, great shower, large TV. Very large for London. The room was dead silent all night and I got a great night's sleep. The location was extremely convinient. Breakfast was merely OK though the service was good.

Staff is very friendly and the breakfast was really good. Everything was made fresh. The rooms are a bit smaller than my expectation but I am not familiar with European standard of room size. I am comparing it with North American room size. Overall a good place.

It's a fantastic hotel. They have great rooms, great service, great food and it's close to everything in London. I know where to stay next time I'm coming here. I'm not easily impressed, but here I am. Impressed.

Great hotel, great view of London eye. Good facilities in room (Nespresso coffee machine etc). Great little bag of goodies given to my toddler on check in with vouchers for a free drink and ice cream.

Photos I checked in advance were much nicer, the room was pitch dark, the bathroom did not have a proper door, everywhere it reeked enormously, and they didn't even have to put two decent beds in. What a pity… Once and never again!

Excellent hotel with nice suited rooms. The food was good on the restaurant and the spa massage enjoyable. Very well placed for the train station and underground also very close to the London Eye.

A perfect hotel for families but a lot of people what makes you wait for the lift and there is a long queue for breakfast also.

We found it very practical the family suite floor 9, excellent in cleanliness, comfort and services.

Located in a central location but about the service leaves to be desired. A very small breakfast room is not a great choice. Without a minimum of access to take a taxi.

Room wasn't ready at check in time, we waited half an hour. Service was generally not proactive, we waited for breakfast, staff saw us waiting but ignored us and then came over looking at her watch. Breakfast quality was good. Room service lunch ordered at 1100, apparently took a long time because kitchen was busy. Didn't have half the items we wanted fruition the menu. Location was excellent, room very nice well equipped with kitchenette. No information on things like meal service times in the room which I found odd. Health club poor, one small changing room with 3 lockers and no light, 3 showers. Sauna was ok, steam room hardly any steam, gym standard. Basically a good base for exploring South Bank, convenient for a young family, just don't expect 4* service or facilities.

Just got back home to the Midlands after weekend break in London for my wife’s 50th birthday.
Given free upgrade for a London eye view!
Couldn’t fault the room at all, considering we we on the main road the room was silent.
My only complaint is the price of the food and drinks and very limited vegetarian options on the menu (unless you like Italian, which my wife doesn’t)

Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. No health club in this hotel. I was told that I could use the one in the other Park Plaza hotel over the road — at £35 a go — which is a bit of a joke. I'd arranged to meet a friend in the hotel, but he ended up in the bar of this other hotel and was charged extra for taking the caps off bottles of beer, which is just cheeky. This put us off bothering to try the bar in the County Hall hotel, so we went to Vaulty Towers, a pub about a five minute walk away, which was quirky but excellent. Probably wouldn't stay here again, there's no view, it's not in what used to be County Hall anyway, and whilst it was ok I know there's better to be had for the money.

Me and my partner came to London for the weekend as it was my birthday. The hotel was lovely staff friendly and really helpful. We enjoyed the resturant/bar too. It is in a few minutes walk of Waterloo station which was perfect for us. Only downfall was the view from the room… it was of the lifts and the wall to the other side of the hotel so made the room feel dark and dingy it wasn’t a nice view what so ever. Never the less we would stay here again but will make sure we get a room with a better view.

For a city trip three nights in this really good hotel slept. The location is absolutely top, two minutes away from the Thames, London Eye, Westminster Bridge and Waterloo station. We had a large apartment on the 13th floor. It was very quiet in the hotel. There was hardly any noise from the road. Cleanliness very good, comfort very good. Room service also very good. The breakfast was very varied and delicious. If you get up late, you have to wait a little, but you will be directed to a free table. The three elevators sometimes have a bit of waiting time. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
All in all we were very satisfied and felt we were in good hands.

We went to London on a family trip to take our 8year old granddaughter. The hotel was in a great location staff professional and friendly making any contact welcoming. We was in room 1331 and we couldn't have wished for a better room and view to match. Food excellent hotel spotless. And will look forward to going again soon.

It was good the people real friendly, you could give up a wish that was fulfilled. The only Manco was the room, the hill was great but the second bed was a pull out sofa.

Very good hotel recommended to 100% especially for its great situation to make visits walking to Big Ben or Parliament if you want to take a walk a little longer you approach Buckingham Palace and the London Eye you have next.

Location is amazing. You will queue for breakfast depending on time you go. Earlier the better. Bar way over priced so go elsewhere. When rooms were cleaned not everything was stocked properly like bog roll and coffee.

A super Central hotel to visit London. The rooms overlooking the London Eye, very nice. There is a small kitchen, iron, iron, hairdryer and 2 televisions that you cannot see contents of a memory. Very full breakfast, lots of fruits and they make the eggs to you at the moment. Clean rooms.

As a family we enjoyed staying at park plaza county. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great. It has big size rooms equipped with almost everything we need. We really liked it lot. It will be my choice in the future.

Very good location. We were given an accessible room which was a great size but unfortunately didn't have any views of London. Service at the hotel was generally very good apart from one night. We were told not to order at the bar and that the waiter would take our order. We waited 30 minutes before he took our order, upon taking the order he decided not to clear the table of empty glasses and again ignored the empty glasses after eventually giving us our drinks. When presented with the bill I was shocked to see a 15% service charge included.

Very central location, just a 5min walk to get to Waterloo Station. About 8 min to the Ferris wheel and to the big Ben.

Decent hotel, quite strategic location, can walk to most tourist spots. Breakfast fare standard. Room spacious enough. Pillows very thin tho. Had a weird experience where the housekeeping staff took my husband's laundry bag when it was quite obvious it was not rubbish, and that it's got stuff inside. We called housekeeping and they returned it to us. The following days our room was made up but not as neatly as before the mysterious disappearance of hubby's laundry bag. Just a bizarre incident.

Nice hotel close to lots of things to see and do in London. Suite was spacious with 2 TV's and a nice settee in the sitting room. Bathroom was clean and well equipped with both a bath and a shower. There was also a small kitchen with a microwave and coffee making facilities. The buffet breakfast in the restaurant was good and if scrambled eggs weren't to your liking other styles could be cooked to order. The only downsides were the bed was a bit too close to the door and you could hear the loud noise whenever anyone nearby closed their door and the windows didn't open.

Finishes a little less luxurious than its neighbor and cousin of Westminster but very nice and a little cheaper.

Family room has separate sleeping quarters for adults and children, albeit without a closing door between them. Kids sleep on a sofa bed. Good large bathroom with shower and bath. Kitchenette with sink, microwave and mini fridge. Great hotel for exploring London.

Park Plaza County Mall London. We had a fantastic stay with them and the way they looked after us was just so lovely. Gary the concierge was so helpful & thanks to him our stay there was ever so much more enjoyable, nothing was too much effort. Agatha in the dining room was very helpful & lovely ready to get whatever we needed. Fantastic time, we would go back again in a heart beat. Thanks Park Plaza.

Make sure to have a room with daylight! This is a great hotel, as you will have noticed from the other ratings but with several very poor ratings. The reason is that the hotel has some 10% very poor rooms that are located with the windows facing the central internal court yard. These rooms have no daylight whatsoever. The view consist of the diners in the central restaurant. I was allocated one of these rooms on my arrival with corroded bath interior, worn and torn carpet and bad odour of a former smokers room. However, after conveying my utter disappointment, the very friendly receptionist Fatima allocated a great room with daylight and nice view. All fine there. So when booking, ensure to request a room with daylight!

Rooms are renovated, comfortable and soundproof. It was perfect for a quick visit to London as we were taking a train from Waterloo. There are a number of attractions nearby such as London Eye, Globe Theatre and Tate Modern, but take your good walking shoes. It isn't the best location for tourists however as there aren't many interesting restaurants nearby.

Great location. Reasonably priced. Rooms were clean and modern. We opted for the breakfast included price which was well worth it. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very attentive to any questions. We were traveling with 2 children who were welcomed by staff as soon as we arrived. I would definitely stay here again.

I was at the Park Plaza County Hall for a dinner on a Sunday night at ten o'clock. Although it was late the welcome was very friendly, and the Italian waiter proved very helpful and polite. The place is quite formal, elegant and very well maintained. The menu proposes typical Italian dishes at not too excessive prices. It is a stone's throw from Westminster Bridge and the London Eye.

Nice hotel, comfortable and clean hotel a short walk from the London Eye and Big Ben. To be so central is extremely quiet and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and speak English! I was there at Easter 2016 for 6 days with the family, we took a studio room for 4 of us and we had a great time.

Really liked our stay at this modern, centrally located hotel. The staff make this place exceptional. Two gripes: Air-con wasn't properly cooling down our room and it can't be set in-room (although housekeeping was very helpful and friendly to sort it out, it reset every day and we had to call every time). Secondly, bathroom only separated from rest of the room by loosely hanging barn style glass door — meaning zero privacy for couples. Otherwise, great place.

Room is quite nice, but the views from the room are not very good. Location is excellent. Rooms are a bit noisy, be but are large. Service staff are very helpful and friendly.

Great location, quality hotel, but a bit pricy all the same. We were excited about having a room on the 11th floor, as we assumed this would mean a spectacular view of the city, but instead our room faces inward, toward the atrium: no city view, and a bit of a lack of privacy.

Staff is friendly and breakfast is more than a continental in many hotels. The rooms are clean and I have not heard any neighbors through the wall. Points lost in the bathroom with a low flow shower that is hard to calibrate the temperature and sink rattles when on. The price is right and the location is perfect for tourists and the Internet is fast. Overall good.

Had a pleasant stay here when we got married. Room was large and had a good view of the London eye. Centrally located and convenient for all the London tourist sites. Breakfast buffet was ok, although would have expected a wider selection of foods for this class of hotel, and also some of the hot food was cold. They have limited seating in the dining area, so unless you go early, expect long queues at breakfast time. Another let down is that there is no guest car park, and parking on the street there is expensive. There is an independent car park next door but it's expensive and very very narrow and awkward, I don't ever want to park there again.

Fantastic location, was very close to the London Eye and Big Ben. We walked everywhere, but the subway is only 5 minutes ' walk. Very comfortable bed, great location. Bathroom and shower were great. I would stay here again.

Hotel in a great central location, staff very friendly, warm welcome to us. Rooms are large and well-equipped. Remember to request a room outside the window. Inside the rooms have Windows overlooking the Central restaurant. Not very private, because they can see in the window, but you cannot see outside.

GREAT LOCATION in central London. The room was very clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable but the pullout couch was not comfortable at all. I would recommend this hotel if you're planning on walking to some of the cities attractions.

Poor incompetent service which they like to blame on each other and then charge you for their mistakes! Restaurant worked out at £120 per head for a buffet (not a la carte) and charged a 14month yr old baby £75 to sit in a high chair and eat his own baby food!

Attending a company conference at the Park Plaza County Hall. Easy to get to; close to Waterloo station, and smart, clean rooms. Friendly, helpful, and communicative staff, that were sensitive and flexible to customers needs.

We were on vacation in August of 2015. The staff very friendly. The room-apartment very comfortable, although perhaps a little small for 4 people. Very quiet in spite of give to the railway station of Waterloo. The breakfast very good. The superb situation.

It knew of business trip, stayed at Westminster Bridge, so it knew its location. We stayed with a family with two small children and I have nothing negative to criticize. Breakfast very good, both the continental and British. The location, in my opinion the best in London. Hotel a 10.

Stayed there for 3 nights in Summer 2014. The hotel is conveniently and perfectly located, right next to Waterloo station. It is therefore suitable for both, a business trip or a leisure and fun weekend in London. The welcome by the staff was very warm and friendly, especially by the Concierge team and the reception team. Rooms are very spacious and very clean, compared to other hotels in London at such a price. The only downside of the hotel is the infrastructure for the breakfast. There are not enough tables and the buffet is way to small for such a big hotel (which should apparently change by 2015) But Mika made it all up by her super positive and extremely friendly energy ;-).

It was always very clean the rooms and the service was fabulous!
The only shortcoming was that the bathroom with a Glas\Schiebetür was closed.

We were there after new year's Eve we were assisted by staff in a great. We reported our problem of food allergy and all staff assisted and provided safe foods for breakfast and for lunch.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Westminster — great place to be and a very friendly hotel. The only drawback was breakfast: you had to queue up to get in and the pace was sloooow. Otherwise, great all round.

Despite holiday season and thus connected to the onslaught, the service was always good to very good. Always friendly and attentive. The hotel and the room was clean.
The logistics at the breakfast buffet was good and impressive.
All in all recommendable.

We only stayed for one night, (long enough to know we would definitely use this hotel again). The studio room we used was clean comfortable and well equipped. We ate in the hotels Italian restaurant and couldn't fault the food ambiance or the excellent attentive service. Breakfast time is very busy but don't be put off by the queues, the staff are very efficient and your your not left waiting for long. Praise to all the staff we had contact with for the friendly service they provide. All in all a very pleasant stay.

My favorite hotel in London, comfort and location.

I worked in Westminster for 6 months and had the good luck to stay here each week. The rooms were always very well equipped with separate bedroom, en-quite shower room and sitting room, with microwave, mini-bar and tea/coffee facilities. The beds were excellent and I always managed to get a good night's sleep on the first night of a 3 or 4 night stay. The restaurant would often get busy so room service came in very useful. The service was always timely, polite and professional, with a good choice of food on offer. Should I work in Westminster again in the future I would jump at the chance to stay here.

Pros: service throughout the hotel is excellent; comfortable rooms, especially the suite for families. Cons: soundproofing could be better. Too much gurgling from plumbing made the room sound like we were underwater or in a boiling cauldron of soup.

The hotel has a great location, the rooms are clean and very nice. What is great is that you have such a small kitchen in the room. There was also a bathtub in addition to shower. The shower is closed with a glass door, what personally however not bothered me. On the contrary, it exudes a touch of luxury. Although we had only continental breakfast, there was a great selection also. Allerding not sooo big is the restaurant, so you must sometimes wait something. The only negative was that the walls are a bit "thin" — you can hear quite a bit if it's even quiet.
