We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a good size room for me a d my husband. The location is great! Will stay here again in our next visit!

Lovely, quaint hotel which was very central, just around the corner from Earl's Court. Only a couple of blocks from Harrod's. What more could one want?

It's a good hotel. Perfectly located 5 minutes from the subway. The staff are very friendly. Breakfasts at the level. It's a nice atmosphere.

The hotel has a very good location and one is with the underground in a few minutes in the city centre. The room was clean and cleaned daily. The service in general was very good! The hotel room could have been a bit bigger, but for a city trip it was definitely sufficient. Would recommend the hotel to anyone who spends a few days in London.

Location The room was clean. Tea, coffee, cream in the room. Cute sets of toiletries. Breakfast is not very varied and for the price in the café you can eat better. Close to the shops. The Metro is very close. Location.

FANTASTIC! it was my daughters 21st and they brought her a cake with a candle and left a card in the room! The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very efficient and accommodating. It took 4 mins walking from the tube to the hotel and every time I emailed the hotel the staff replied very quickly! I will definitely stay again!

Good location, uncomplicated and functional room. What more could you want?
The one — and check-out didn't even last a minute. The room was small — as it was everywhere in London —, but offered everything you needed and was extremely clean.
The Wi-Fi was also positive in the evenings due to its speed.
There was nothing to complain about at breakfast either. There was a quintessentially British and continental one to choose from.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a lovely stay at the Rockwell. The room was amazing and well kept and the breakfast was good. Earls Court tube station is conveniently close and there are lots of restaurants near by if you do not want to venture far in the evenings. Overall an excellent hotel.

Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean, well run with friendly and helpful staff. Myself and my daughter had two nights, two breakfasts and a beautiful lunch with homemade mayo. Near to Natural history and Victoria & Albert museum (15 min walk). I would recommend this hotel highly.

The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from Earls Court tube. It's one of London's independent hotels and as such has a character that none of the chains can match. Staff are very helpful and always available, rooms are bright and cleaned well. I've not eaten there but the bar and restaurant area look very nice, the menu looks very reasonably priced.

Great hotel with awesome personnel. We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend getaway and especially enjoyed the great location (5 Minute walk to the Subway) and the lovely breakfast.

Had 2 night stay staff were fantastic and large room was immaculate. Breakfast was also superb. Will stay again.

Very nice hotel located close to the Earls Court tube station. My single room was on the small side but very comfy. Nice staff and classy common areas. Good Wi-Fi.

Great place to stay! Clean, convenient, and super friendly staff. You can even book a package to have breakfast included, worth it if you are trying to save your travel budget for other stuff. Plenty of stuff within a short walk, including a tube stop, so I found it pretty easy to get around London from here. Definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is convenient. The staff is helpful. It's a small hotel that works hard and this is evident with all the small details. For example, they have real flowers everywhere, the breakfast is substantial and high quality. The room I had was very, very, ultra small but it was very comfortable. It was quiet, warm, very clean and well appointed. I paid US$100 (more or less) and this included breakfast. I thought it was reasonable for a centrally located boutique hotel in London.

What started as a good experience ended up being a nightmare! We were burgled in our lower ground floor bedroom whilst sleeping — a very frightening experience for 2 females! Staff very sympathetic — other than night manager who was obviously not doing his job as the whole incident was recorded on the hotels CCTV — but management reneged on the deal having agreed to cover cost of loss on their own insurance and ended up only offering a third of the total loss! Hotel security very poor as confirmed by the police!

Nice typical hotel in the district of Kensington, well located for museums and parks, 5min to the metro Earl's court.

Fantastic hotel and service! Had a beautiful mezzanine room which actually felt like a very nice studio apartment. The hotel has a lovely garden to the rear where you can sit with drinks and have dinner. For the price I think this hotel is perfect and in a great location for Kensington and Chelsea with a short walk to pick up the District / Circle Lines.

Clean and efficient hotel. The restaurant serves great dinner options. I had spaghetti pasta, it uses fresh ingredients.

Great place near to Hide Park and Kyoto gardens. Good service and friendly staff. The place is clean and enjoyable.

Very good small Hotel West of the centre. Good facilities and very friendly staff. To recommend to the rich Breakfast. The Underground Station "Earl's Court" is only 8-minute walk away.

We loved our stay at The Rockwell. Perfect location for the Royal Albert Hall. Staff very helpful and polite, room spacious, bright and very comfortable and in a beautiful building with outdoor garden area. Would definitely book again.

Almost everything about the hotel and the stay was great — but the breakfast let it down somewhat & a shame. Granted we did arrive for breakfast at 10:00 when it was closing at 10:30, but hardly last minute. The woman basically made me feel uncomfortable and like I shouldn't be there bothering her. I had to ask for a ton of stuff like a glass, some butter, some ketchup, etc etc. And then what little remained of the hot buffet was dry and pretty cold. Not pleasant at all. However, on a plus point, the room was lovely and uncomfortable. Hotel very well located and in a nice order too.

The service was really impressive. Although small, it was very pleasant. The room was very clean and they had everything I would expect. The Wi-Fi was slow though, and kept cutting out. Not what I would expect for the pricey hotel in the West of London.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. It was clean with friendly staff. I would note that the hotel feels a bit "tired. " It could use a some sprucing up as the hotel information binder in our room was taped together, and the pillows on the sofa were a bit ragged. The bed sheets felt like paper. If they would address these two issues, I would give it a better rating.

Very good hotel, centrally located in London. The hotel is clean, bright and relatively quiet. The Wi-Fi could be more stable and faster. Breakfast is good: there is continental breakfast, and all English breakfast and a variety of egg variations made to order. Very fair prices for the the overnight stay.

I was staying at The Rockwell hotel prior multiple times since the very beginning and so far was quite happy with the hotel in general. Keeping in mind the smaller rooms the overall experience was quite OK.
Nevertheless for my last experience I would not recommend staying at a place with such ignorance on customer service or goodwill specifically in situations where you have a hard time proving every single detail.
In my case I made the mistake to mix booking one using a port…al which I wanted to cancel and one using the hotel website booking form. Since I could not change the HRS booking through the HRS system I called the hotel directly and was informed on the phone that everything is fine and should not be a problem to cancel the HRS booking in favour of the direct one. This turned out to be a very expensive mistake as I now have to pay the one night cancelation fee for both reserved rooms. And all of this for accidentally forgetting to mention the HRS booking in my e-mail following the phone conversation. Apologies that for a business person it sometimes happens that you do multiple things at the same time but that is where I expect the company am seeking for service to help and support to think ahead of the customer.
So am surprised that the hotel was not able to spot the double booking on the same name. But last time in this place.

Great clean boutique-style hotel. Stayed here in late 2014. Service was pretty good, although almost no one at the front desk is from London or England. So don't expect them to be full of suggestions for food or non touristy things to do. A great value for London $320us per night.

Super, small, very welcoming, comfortable/cosy individual hotel with a wonderful staff which lives up to all the positive reviews. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in a very nice room with a garden view. Thank you Guardian for the tip.

Really happy with our stay here, beautiful rooms, polite and extremely helpful staff. Bed extremely comfortable we didn't want to leave it. Great location. Can't say enough good things about the staff, especially the young man who carried our bags up to our room. So polite and helpful. Will definitely be coming back and recommending The Rockwell to others. As a young couple, if we had to choose one downside, it would be the Wi-fi dropping in and out. But it didn't matter as everything else was pretty much perfect. You should definitely stay here.

We spent 3 nights at the rockwell. Super friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms. We will come back.
