The rooms and bathrooms are small, but comfortable. The staff was amazing and professional. If coming from Victoria Station, the Gloucester Road station is better as the trains are more frequent. Pleanty to see and do around this area, and yes you can walk to Victoria Station. There is a Sainsbury just around the corner with hot foods, beer, spirits and wine. Also, many ethnic restaurants to choose from.

Ok. Rooms are quite small but enough for sleeping. Includes hair dryer and iron but no fridge. Windows don't open, but there is air con. Shower water pressure was poor and not very hot. Good location, 5 minute walk from Earl's Court station.

Bar include hot drinks, desserts, alcoholic drinks. Meeting rooms are very well ventilated with a thermostat to control temperature and air conditioning. We had regular visits from the staff to check that our jugs of water was topped off and plenty of stationery available for our meeting. Plenty of space adequate enough for 30 people in a room. It's easy to rearrange chairs and table for group activities if necessary.

Hotel was quite OK, clean and fresh appearance. Like many UK hotels central heating meant that the room was sweltering and sleep nearly impossible. Location good, but right on the Cromwell Road, so windows couldn't be opened. I won't be back.

The hotel is very well located and clean. The staff are helpful.

One of my best hotel as I stay here once in two weeks and really loving it also I must say about the receptionist Prowsie (Nigerian girl and sorry I spell it wrong) who is very professional and helpfull so, no comparison with the rest of the staff although others are okay too.

Very good location, close to Kensington gardens, two tube stations and a number of shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and modern but not very big. The buffet breakfast is very good. Would recommend.

Hotel was comfortable, close to two tube stations with restaurants and bars nearby. Room was a bit pokey but comfortable enough and quiet which is good. Breakfast was buffet style with a good choice of hot and cold options. The bar area was small but cosy enough just to sit down and relax over a night cap.

Very courteous staff. Excellent breakfast options and good location to access Earls Court tube station and it's environs.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, with plenty of choice and nice and hot. Rooms were clean, tidy and functional. Decor in rooms could do with a bit of a spice up though. All in all good value for money, and provided what we needed.

Reasonably priced (for London) hotel. Very well presented and I recommend having the breakfast! The room has a large king size bed and a bath/shower room. Slightly noisy air conditioning but it does have an offer switch. I will be more than happy to come back again!

Good located place, nice and friendly staff, close to public transport. My double room was very small (typical London) but functional. Good breakfast and nice Lobby to sit and wait.

Cardboard walls. We hear everything that happens in the neighbors. To advise against the people. Otherwise the staff is at the top. 15 minutes from the center by Metro. Quality level price. Correct. No more, no less.

I never stayed in the actual hotel, but I recently booked an all day parking option with them through JustPark. After paying the generous sum of 30£ (30 bloody pounds, you gotta love London! ), I arrive at the hotel and ask the receptionist where the parking spaces are. She gives some quite vague indications but I think okay, fair enough, I have Google Maps, I will be able to find it. I start to go in circles for about half an hour, passing by a couple of spaces with the 'Mercure Hotel' sign on it, but both already occupied by other cars. At this point, pretty frustrated and super late for my appointment, I come back to the reception. Here, I have to wait 5 minutes because the receptionist (on her admission) is TALKING TO HER LANDLORD ON THE PHONE! Are you absolutely joking?! How many stars is this hotel supposed to be? So, I ask again to be indicated where the parking spaces are as I cannot find them — the manager comes out and, with the face of someone who was being very annoyed by silly questions, shows me on the street where the infamous space were. After he confirmed and completely sure that I was looking in the right direction, I declare that the spaces are occupied — it turns out one of the two cars was his. He doesn't apologise, doesn't smile, he just says: go back in the car and reach the parking lot whilst I'll move the other car. All of this — let's just all remember together — for paying a generous amount of 30£ for an all day parking option!

Rooms were decent, clean and comfy, well priced for what they were and staff nice and welcoming. Not many hotels these days provide shaving equipment and shoe shine kits which was a nice touch. Plus a decent ironing board when more and more hotels are opting for these mini table top thingies that are neither use nor ornament ;) Could have done without Michael Bubble and other assorted soft jazz on repeat in all public areas but can't blame them for that — I noticed more than one resident taking their feet or singing along under their breath… *** But do not drink the draught beer in the bar, your life may depend on it. If you do want a beer, go for a bottle or even better just go to one of the local pubs. You can thank me later, as will your spouse and dependants… ;)

When they write small this is really the case. On the other hand the room is clean and comfortable. The small snag of the paper walls is covered by quies balls provided by the hotel. A good choice at 20 min walk from the Royal Albert Hall.

Very good food, but it is up to the waiter to endorse some dish of more for you to try and increase the account that already in itself is expensive.

Scam to avoid absolutely. We booked a stay from Oct. 28 to October 31. The stay was awful, it's a scam to avoid absolutely. We paid a family suite for four days, and we ended up in a broom closet in Paddington mercury, with cot for children, because Kensington did not deign to warn us that our suite was not available. We were put in front of the fact, at 8pm, on the other hand they have well cashed the maximum rate. The staff heading below everything. They laughed at us and did not have anything to do…

Noisy Hotel (no double glazing), tiny room! Unable to open his suitcase on the floor.

Awful. Room was booked and paid for but was asked to move to another hotel in Paddington due to a booking error. The receptionist was tardy, rude and served others while serving me which made both of us feel uncomfortable. Booked due to location but was moved anyway. Never again.

I liked the location, also the attention of the staff but the rooms are too small.

I stayed in a functional but dated room on the 3rd floor. The room was barely wider than the length of the bed, and some might find moving around the room difficult. Decor needs updating and there are surface mounted sockets in strange places. Bathroom small but again functional with a shower over the bath with reasonable pressure and steady temperature. So generally clean but getting a bit shabby round the edges.

Nice place, good location and good night's sleep. Couple of issues with staffing of the bar but no real complaints.

Such a lovely hotel. If you have the option do choose the premium rooms. The staff can't do enough for you and the room was so quiet and comfortable with lots of added extras. With a lovely little bar downstairs which serve Costa coffee too. A perfect location for easy access to the museum's and everything else accessible via 2 local tubes whixh are around a 5 and 8 minute walk from the hotel.

Good location and service.

I really like this hotel. The location is so great, it's near by earl's court station. So I stayed this hotel 3 times. But yesterday when I packing my luggage, I couldn't find my white shirt. So weird. I hung my shirt in the closet. I told to the reception and he said if he find the shirt, he'll send it to me. But It's so precious shirt to me, so It feels bad.

Very comfortable, surprisingly quiet but earplugs were provided anyway, complementary drinks in the room, lovely breakfast. Really no complaints.

Great hotel for its location (Kensington District, with Metro nearby and numerous resources for tourists). Very clean and good beds. Decent rooms. Optimal for a few days in London. Thanks for the attentions,

To be a hotel in the Mercure chain I expected more from the rooms

The location is great for getting into London. Upon arrival the room that we we given was not ready, it appeared that repairs were being done. This was quickly rectified by reception. The room was clean but there was some staining on the carpet. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

We stayed for two nights.
In positive points: quality of reception, shower + bathtub (perfect shower pressure), good quality of bedding, provision of a iron, a hairdryer, a safe and a kettle.
In negative points: tiny room, there was little space to put two suitcases, the walls are thin and window single glazing, so light noise from outside but earplugs balls are offered (and useful for the most sensitive).

Good Hotel overall. General cleanliness of the hotel good. Great service. Good breakfast Although the room is small. Cleanliness in the rooms good. The size of the rooms is poor, in a double room it is difficult to move freely in two.

"There is no such thing as free lunch" The expression above translate exactly what I feel about this hotel. There is a reason it is way cheaper than other Mercure hotels in London. It not feels like a Mercure at all. Would be more honestly if they re-brand it as Ibis. But this not means it is a bad hotel. In fact it is quite good with comfy beds, nice shower with plenty of hot water, nice TV with premium channels and outstanding location. The room I had stayed was quite big with a king size bed, good sized bathroom and bathtub. It was recently refurbished so the room itself felt like brand new but the bathroom have a tired look with some stains from the age but nothing that would bother me. In the room you will find the usual: safe, ironing facilities, kettle, coffee and tea. In the bathroom toiletries as soap, shampoo, shower gel, etc. Polite staff but not really proactive. But it is not a problem for me. Location is superb. Close to Earls Court tube you can reach anywhere in London easily. Also if you are coming from Heatrow this tube station is part of Piccadilly Line. So you can travel from the airport terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5 to the hotel without change lines, what is very convenient. Also not far you have the Gloucester Rd Tube and High Kensington St Tube besides several buses. Speaking in High Kensington St, it is 10 min walk distance from hotel. Also It is a few stations away from Westfield London. So if your thing is shopping this is a good hotel to stay.

Hotel is quite well locate d: neighborhood is good, 10 minutes walk from the tube, 5 minutes from the bus. Room is very little! For the price we paid and compared to the description it's a shame! The room was dusty. Beds were confortable but 2 separate! You can here you neighbor from all sides and from the street! Breakfast is quite good, but expensive. Staff at the restaurant is kind. Staff at the reception is not very kind maybe because we were a young couple. The room was just above the Parking entrance of the delivery trucks! So, every morning (we stayed 3 nights) we were woken up at 3.00 AM! They gave me different excuses about that:-I booked a cheap room: false it was a higher class room-I booked my room on a discount site like booking. Com: false I payed full price on their website After my complain they admitted they always had problems with that room. A received as compensation a single night in the same hotel but as I don't plan to go back in London in the following.
