I've been staying in the premier inn for the past two weeks due to a flood at my flat. I had a problem where my room had to be extended twice. The first time the team were very helpful but the second time the person I spoke to told me that I can't do that and that I'll have to move rooms with my possessions. I explained that it would be a huge help for me to be given the same room. I was ignored and the rude woman told me to call back later. Since then I've tried calling 8 times in 4 hours to find out if this would be possible. Sadly this location is understaffed so it's impossible to get a hold of anyone of the team.

Hotel's nice but food is expensive for what you get. Plenty of other food outlets in Islington. £4.50 for a bottle of Doombar is a rip off.

Great central location, good sized room, air conditioning worked well. Windows didn't open which is a shame. Camomile tea bags and other options were free in reception and there was a food vending machine as well as the restaurant. Reception staff were friendly.

Quick check-in service, friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious food at fair prices. Close to Highbury & Islington tube station. Only downside is no parking. Overall, a marvellous hotel.

Nice clean room, friendly helpful staff when you could find them, bad points are always waiting to be seen on the front desk as staff was elsewhere, paid £10 for a breakfast that wasn't worth it.

Lovely clean hotel, good breakfast and great place to stay if visiting o2 academy Islington as it is next door. Easy transport links. Very helpful staff would recommend and will visit again.

Hotel is dated and the air conditioning doesn't work. When I asked for a fan I was promptly bought one (missing front guard but hey ho). The staff were all amazing and offered to help at every opportunity but the hotel its self is badly in need of investment.

Ok. Reasonable as booked long in advance, clean room but very cramped with two single beds put in for kids. Horrible drain smell when running the sink tap, water very hard. Quiet enough but as usual far too hot and windows don't open at all.

Great service. Just not pleasant not being able to open the window.

We had a good time in the hotel. It's quite central but very quiet at night which is amazing considering where it's located. The staff is friendly and helpful as well as the cleaning people. It was quite clean although a few things could have been done a little but better. I found some hairs in on the sink in the bath and most of the towels looked like they were old although washed. They probably had too many washings behind them. But the price you don't expect too much being that central too.

Terribly managed restaurant. The staff have no idea what they are doing. Got our order wrong then charged us for it. There was no gesture to keep us happy. Won’t be returning although the food was okay in the end.

Great reception, very friendly and attentive staff. Room clean and comfy, and breakfast was fresh and hot. Very happy. :)

A great location. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Our family room was clean and comfortable. A very good selection at breakfast, can't remember ever seeing bubble and squeak at a breakfast buffet before!

Clean, tidy, warm. Near to metro and in a nice and rather quiet area of London. Definitely value for money.

Stayed for 4 nights on business trip, Excellent location (shopping area & restaurants), clean rooms & facilities, near Angel tube, friendly neighborhood, affordable prices, nice & helpful staff, don't know why classified as 3 stars, should be 4. Didn't try the restaurant but it looked good as well. I do recommend it 5/5

Really convenient location. 5 mins walk from Angel tube station and close to alot of supermarkets and shops. Very well apportioned, modern Premier Inn.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is great for the business design centre and it's cheap prices. Very happy with my stay. No breakfast but if you're just there for a conference you don't need much more. Oh, and they have a bath!

Well placed for the city and one tube stop from Kings Cross. Good value and clean.

Hotels location is great. Near tube station and shops. Staff are friendly and food is nice. Room is a bit outdated however still very good.

Clean. Quiet. Good food. Handy for Angel underground, shops and SadlersWells Theatre.

Proximity to Islingtin high street with its numerous eateries and great transport links make it an excellent venue for a city break. The Premier Inn is furnished to a good standard and the air con is a godsend.

OK it's a fairly standard Premier Inn so if you've stayed in one before you know what you're going to get. But what you get is good! Had 2 nights in Room 403 with my partner. It had a good city scape view and was quiet considering it's in a busy area of London. The room itself was a family sized room, with the standard super comfy king size bed, as well as a sofa bed. Standard amenities including TV, tea and coffee, hairdryer, hand wash and shower gel and some brilliant black out curtains. I was ill with a migraine and chest infection on the trip and can't emphasise how fantastic the curtains (and aircon) were in helping me get the extra sleep I needed to regain some strength. The staff were friendly and pleasant wherever I encountered them. If I need to stay in Ilsington again, I will definitely come here.

Staff were great. Really responsive and caring. Restaurant was missing quite a few main meals, took the gloss off an otherwise great stop over.

The hotel was very well managed. The staff were extremely pleasant and polite. The hotel had Happy Hour from 6pm to 8pm in the bar which was greatly appreciated by myself and all my work colleagues! The rooms and beds were very comfortable.

Clean and comfy like all Premier Inns. Handily located for the Business Design Centre and Islington itself.

I have stayed many times at this hotel and have always found it clean and service is good.

Room was clean and tidy, stay was pleasant, breakfast was nice and staff were friendly.

The hotel is nice as an overall experience but not the best. If not on a promo, it can get a bit pricey for what it offers. Once in the promo is quite good though. Breakfast is too expensive taking into account that around the area (which is one of the nicest in London) there are plenty of places to get a good full English for half the price. The staff is friendly, but trying to do a check-in is quite slow. Vending machines with loads of useful items for travellers (but at a hotel rate of course) such as consumables, traveller plugs, camera accessories… Elevators are secured with the hotel key so it makes you feel safe no outsider will break in. The rooms are OK. A small TV, al-right bed, but no safe to store valuables. The very worst in the hotel is that being in a hyper-connected city in 2015, they give you 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi, and then a ridiculous price to continue using it. The speed is not good either.

Located in the centre of Islington with 2 car parks with in 2 mins walking and 2 mins from the sub way. The staff are extremely welcoming and are there to help at all times. Food is OK, rooms are clean what you would expect. My only issue are the kiosks which infrequently work and if they do work the key card never activates correctly so staff always have to re set. Free Wi-Fi but very minimal strength, but emails work. Over all always a good experience but book well onadvance due to the cost.

Handy for staying for events at the Business Design Centre.

A nice Hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are air-conditioned, beautifully decorated and spacious for London Standards. There is free Internet which is probably a bit unstable. Rooms and bathroom are very clean. The new beds are heavenly and incredibly convenient. The Hotel holds what it promises. 've missed I was only a Safe. Also, there is no lockable wardrobe, therefore only 4 stars. You can choose between 2 Frühstücksarten. The Continental breakfast consists of cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts, toast, Croissants and different kinds of jam and honey. Here, I would have a slice of cheese to desired. For a surcharge, there is still the full English Breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, beans and sausages. Coffee you get from a coffee machine with a selection of different coffees, such as Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte, etc Tasted very delicious. There are also numerous teas and 3 different juices to choose from. The Hotel is also against Fremdzutritt secured. With his Keycard, you can the Elevator, the Flurtür and the door of the room open. However it deletes these if you take them together with a mobile phone, is transported. But the reception coded it like new. At the Codierungssysem should therefore still be worked on. The Hotel is located in a quiet side street and is only a few minutes from the Angel Tube Station. Several bus lines in the immediate vicinity.

The hotel itself is good value for money. What I did not like was the "free" internet. I always book hotels that offer free internet. And it was offered here. But. The free one is really really slow. And. They naturally offer good internet for money.

We stayed a few nights here in 2014, when we attended the DroidCon conference. Everything was great, friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely staff nothing it too much trouble and always somebody available. Beds are magical. Very handy site.

Premier Inn is my / our preferred option when in the UK. Excellent value for money and staff are always so friendly. Food excellent. This hotel is close to our daughters flat so it is perfect for our needs.

Very good price for the room. Room is spacious and the bathroom was perfectly clean. Beds are very good, rooms are quiet at night time. Didn't hear any noise at all! Definitely will book this hotel again.

Pretty nice. Staff were excellent and courteous. It's a good place to stay if you're over in London for a night.

As a regular business traveler I was very reluctant to book at Premier Inns, as a result of experiences 3 years ago. However, they exceeded my expectation on every level and the change in facilities, cleanliness, food offerings and customer service was exceptional. I cannot commend them enough.
