I would recommend that the way Hotel wonderful Lilly can be improved is by knocking this hotel down and building a brand new, safe, clean, hygienic hotel that is actually habitable. I have photos and videos which back up my comment on here… I would rather be homeless for the nights we paid then stay 1 night in that place… This hotel needs condemning and not only that, the rude so called Manager who would not even look at us in the face when we raised these complaints clearly could not give a dam… We have been sending emails and even now they are refusing to reply to our emails… We have now lost £171.00 that they are keeping even thought we didnt stay… The hotel stunk of urine and stale smoke in the corridors, the carpet was sticky… the baths have holes in, the windows are rotten and also on their way to falling out, the beds smell and look like they have wet patches on the mattresses… the lift only just fits 2 people in and all signage on the hotel is printed off on A4 pieces of paper… I rate this awful hotel as minus "0" … Good luck to anyone brave enough to sleep here! Oh and we want our money back!

Lifts not working, which we were not forewarned about. The hand rails where unusable due to them being unstable. Also the corridors smelt of smoke, through out the Hotel.
The door in to the room didn't open fully, the lock was also loose & had issues shutting. The bathroom door didn't open fully due considerable damage. Bathroom mirror, the bath where unclean, the shower was a trickle. The toilet had inadequate leg room and the toilet seat moved. The window did not shut fully at the bottom in the bedroom. There was a draw missing on the desk at the bottom.
Not enough lighting smoke alarm was missing. When I came back in the room Sunday afternoon to collect my bags, the beds had been made, and the room absolutely stunk, it made me feel sick. So I was very pleased to be leaving early.
Breakfast on Sunday Morning, we entered the restaurant, there was an unpleasant smell, the chairs felt sticky when we pulled them out to sit down. There was a limited option of breakfast given, we were only offered a "Full English" which consisted of a sausage, a rasher of bacon, an egg (which I asked not to have, but I still received) and beans. This was just about warm when it was presented to us, along with toast.
After breakfast I visited your female toilets where I noticed there was no sanitary bin provided, and where also dirty at 9 AM in the morning.

I stayed in this hotel one nights, really great, I enjoyed my stay. Despite the cheap price, the quality was comparable to best hotels I have ever been. The only thing which can be considered as a bit not so perfect, is the breakfast which is very basic (only one sussage, one backon, and without mushrooms). As a suggestion, I highly recommend the manager/owners increase the rate 3-5 pounds and invest it on breakfast, it totally worthes and makes the hotel then really perfect.

Like the majority of reviews given to this hotel, we too have to give this accommodation the lowest score possible unfortunately. We booked a 3-night stay here because the hotel was situated right next to another larger hotel where we would attend a 4 day seminar/training in their conference room. The larger hotel was literally not more than a 100 meters away, so location wise this was our best option for the set budget. I think we payed around €70-€80 per night. We realized that for this price you can not expect a 5 star, 4 star, 3 star or maybe even a 2 star room, but we surely did not expect a 1 star equivalent. We have stayed in 2 star hotels before and we feel easily comfortable with those. To be honest, the staffmember at the check-in desk was very pleasant and kind, and the check-in process went absolutely without any problems. After all that's all we did… check-in. We did not have any special requests or asked for out of the ordinairy treatment. The problems in this hotel start after check-in and on your way to your room. Sure, the elevators are tiny, old and claustrophobic. But again, that's what you can expect with a 2 star. True hell breaks loose when you arrive on your floor (our was 3rd I think). For your own health safety please bring oxygen + masks with you, because the stench of cigarette smoke and antiquity make your nostril hair burn up.

Great hotel in brilliant location. Excellent public transport links makes this hotel an ideal choice for those holidaying in Central London. Hotel itself offers excellent facilities that should meet most travellers' needs. Staff are also very helpful and friendly.

As others have said, this hotel really isn't up to the standard you would expect, even for the 'cheap' price of £100 a night it is very sub-par. The twin room I had was very small and grubby, the lifts didn't work because of flooding, so we had to walk up to our room (the building is 4 floors), there was a strong smell of damp and mustiness in the hall ways. For a bit more money you could stay in a basic, modern hotel just up the road. I definitely wouldn't stay here again. Pros: clean linen, no bed bugs, good location, 'cheap', TV worked. Cons: untidy building needed refurbishing 20 years ago, light next to bed didn't work, no toiletries, loose tiles in bathroom, tiny shower, no trash bin in room, grubby room, single glazed windows let in a lot of noise from busy street outside. Very basic.

We stayed here after misbooking an Airbnb and the price was very low for us booking it the day of. The staff let us leave our luggage in the lobby which was nice of them so we could go to Camden until our rooms were ready. Staff was great and accommodating as well as good humored. The rooms were what we paid for — a little gross and kind of small. I was blowing dust out of my nose for hours after we left and there was some mold on the ceiling on the shower. But again, we did pay a very low price to stay there last minute and they were very accommodating. They just needed to clean things a little better and it would have been a good stay.

Decent, well-connected hotel (West Brompton, Earl’s Court, Fulham). Rooms and corridors are a little bit wasted and could use some renovation. Our double room was medium-sized and it had a private bathroom. The hotel offers on-site parking for £15 (from the time of your arrival up to 11am of the following day, which is check-out time). Breakfast is very good, I would say it was the highlight of our stay. Very affordable. No major issues whatsoever. Would recommend.

Dont Stay here! Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, it not smoke free! It Dirty, unclean, and unpleasant!, don't now how this place Is allowed to stay open! Don't use the lifts, don't have the breakfast! Theirs no choice, stay away! You been warned! I don't know how people rate this place 5 star! Photo the fire escape, not a safe route out! Check other reviews of this hotel over 300 negatives on other websites. Best part of very short stay here, leaving!

The hotel is not expensive, well and everything in it as in a not expensive hotel, I needed a room for one person and with reporting so it was the best option. If you do not need documents better to find apartments they cost about the same and not far from the center. The rooms loosened, in the shower The blind is hung in such a way that it hugs you a little when you wash, shampoo does not provide, only soap. The rooms are non smoking but the hallway smells. The worst thing for me is that the rooms do not have a safe but there are warnings everywhere that valuable things do not leave. What tells us that the precedent can be, however the safe downstairs, at reception works from 8 to 15 that is very limited time, in general, to me it is difficult when I do not understand in safety my things or not, and, still windows badly close there Delhi, in the winter I do not recommend to come here. The staff at the reception are always helpful, very nice and responsive, and breakfast in the hotel is always the same reduced version of English breakfast.

A very budget hotel suspended in time from the late 80s. Small rooms but furnished well. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired; as an asthmatic the curtains were dusty enough to trigger. Dust bunnies in corners near bed. Heating was stuck on permanently and as such the window needed keeping open; as it is next to a main road lots of noise due to this. (I did not raise this with reception as it did not bother me enough on my 1-night stay) Internet is free up to 4GB download daily, and requires getting password from reception. Extra downloads cost extra. Stowing luggage at reception costs £5 in cash. Decor is very old and a blast from the past. Elevators are tiny with swing doors, which get stuck on the deep pile carpets of the hallways. Location is perfect with a 15min walk to Stamford Bridge. Has parking but did not use it.

The hotel is well located (near a metro station), but that's not all.
Room not very large with window that closes very badly and no insulation. There are bars just to be shared and on the night of the occasion you can hear EVERYTHING as if you were there.
Bathroom that leaves something to be desired. You have to ask for towels as there are only 2 (there were 2 of us), so not even a towel for the feet for when you get out of the shower.
The 2 elevators … they walk 1 in 5 times. They're very narrow. It's better to take the stairs.
On the other hand the breakfast very well, and the staff who serve nice.

Although the hotel is well located the cleanliness of the rooms, the bathroom and the breakfast are deplorable.

Rooms are quite small, bed comfortable, breakfast okay, for the price paid good value.

Now about to check out. Was in a top-right next to the lift and doors which were slamming shut all the time and the loud noise from outside. The bed didn't look comfy at all but had the best sleep. Room was very very small. But clean. If your only wanting to stay over a night I would recommend bug not for more than one night.

Ideal position if attending functions at the Ibis, but a tired looking, very basic hotel. My room had a tiny bathroom, the push knob was missing from the toilet just a plastic lever sticking up, and no plug in the sink. There were two cups in the bedroom but only one saucer, the pillows were obviously old and well used, and the room looked over the main Street which was very noisy. On the plus side, the location for the Ibis, much cheaper than the Ibis, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, fresh towels each day, and fast service for breakfast where the food was adequate.

Blunder. Better pay a few taler and have a clean room. Also the breakfast. No love for the guest. The only good thing is the near train station (west Bromton) about 200m.

I have read some of the reviews and all I will say is what can you expect for such a low price in London? The place is secure, clean and close to tube station. It has a small carpark and the basics in the rooms. I would say not bad considering… If you want a 5 star hotel standard hotel pay the price for a five star!

The TV didn't work any day without repeating to reception. The shower is full of mold. The beds were made every day. The area is quiet and pretty.

Needs a demolition and then a reconstruction to look like a hotel worthy of the name.

Bad very bad elevator door was stuck all the time carpet was filthy bad bed was hard nothing comfortable in this room. Bathroom was so small you could only step in and out. Loud room from traffic. Someone trying to get their key to work in our room while we was in there. The only thing kinda good was the Christmas tree we tired to move out but they were still going to charge us. Will never ever go back to that dump.

Generally a bit shabby throughout, coffee and tea weren't replenished, tiles falling off bathroom wall, towels keeping corridor firedoors open, No phone in room, radiator not working, lift a deathtrap, parking facilities expensive and not many of them, too few sockets… etc, etc.

If you want a bad hotel experience this is the right place for you! The breakfast was really bad and always the same (I stayed there for 10 nights so from day3 I simply stoped going for breakfast because there was no point). My room was not so clean, I think they never changed bed sheets (but they did changed towels). The elevators were hardly working. (When you get out from the elevator you have to push the door back otherwise it just stays open and the elevator seems occupied so another person from another floor simply cannot call it) When I left the hotel I forgot to give back the room card and they insisted that I had to return it to them… That was too cheap. So, I had to go back and return it and lose valuable time on my departure day. Never staying there again.

Old Hotel and a dirty poo could improve. Picadilly and Big Ben are not so close minimum 20 mins by Metro very small rooms and reception staff poorly faced, elevators a shame. You get what you pay for or maybe a little less.

Full english breakfast included. Kettle in room to make tea& coffee. Bathtub. Kept my suitcase at early arrival until room was available later. Hotel is a bit worn, but I enjoyed a quiet nights sleep, with a good breakfast and a bath. Wifi worked well also.

The room was small and plain clean sheets though bed well done. However, the shower less than basic the shower hose broken and mediocre, the night receptionist was not friendly not a good customer service. The worse, the noice was unbearable the lift doors banging all the night, the fire alarm went off at 4 am very freighting no one called for assurance. I had to call the reception it was normal some one smoked in his room! Breakfast basic. However the restaurant staff were friendly it was the worse hotel stay experience I have lived good luck!

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very dissappointed with the overall condition and appearance of the hotel. The bedroom was a double room which was very cramped and not suitable for two adults. The look and finish of the room was very poor workmanship (must of recruited a load of DIY enthusiasts). The bed was cheap and worn out, could feel the springs and not a very comfortable nights sleep. The bathroom was thilthy and dirty. Bathroom tiles had not been cleaned and probably have never seen a cream cleaner for months. The basin had a teaspoon and other particles stuck in the plug hole. The toilet was useable but wobbly and the seat had seen better days. The bathroom was tiny and cramped and not a pleasure to use it was a challenge (Don't expect a power shower it's a mixer tap job). The bed sheets did not get changed the 3 nights we stayed. Road noise could be heard throughout the night and expect overhead airplanes coming into land heading towards Heathrow airport in the mornings from 5am onwards. This hotel has seen better days and this probably dates back to the seventies. Staff were pleasant and did try their best under circumstances permitted. I personally would never go back and would recommend all future customers to read the reviews carefully before committing to a booking You will be disappointed and feel cheated. I have stayed in cleaner bed & Breakfasts. Much more suitable for contractors working on london building sites.

We had visible mold in the shower. Dirt everywhere, I doubt the room was cleaned before we arrived. I am not one who easily gets disgusted, but this room was disgusting. I have never bothered to review a hotel before, but I had to this time. If you can stand a bed where you can feel the springs in your back and dirt everywhere, you will be fine. If not, stay away. The breakfast was awful, so we never went back after the first visit to the mold smelling restaurant, but there are plenty of good restaurant close to the hotel. The one positive thing of the hotel is the location. But that is the only positive thing.

Really enjoyed our stay, friendly staff, great location within walking distance of two tube stations. The breakfast was lovely and it very quick to be served.

The photos do not reflect the rooms. Thick dust on everything. Broken sink and toilet. Mouldy walls in bathroom and broken missmatched tiles. The kettle was sitting on an old discoloured bit of cardboard. They only put 1 glass in the double room and the teaspoon was a long yellow plastic kids spoon. There was only one plug on the opposite side of the room so you are constantly swapping between the tv, kettle and charger. There is no bar even though there are signs pointing to it and all the corridors smelled musty. I would not recommend this hotel unless you cant afford anywhere else.

Hotel to flee!
Our room the 316 was dirty, noisy (overlooking the street with a window having a lot of trouble to close, pub right next door and police station in front).
What about the "bathroom" with traces of the passing of previous customers (spatter of toothpastes around the mirror behind the
Door, dodgy toilet linen, dry urine around the toilet swing…).
The pompom was still the flooding on the ground floor: more elevator (convenient with the suitcases when you are on the third floor), more light in the staircase (forced to illuminate with the laptops) and all that for 1 week…
The only positives are the breakfast (provided not to be too manic on the cleanliness of the dishes) and the proximity of the Metro.

Clean & comfortable. Friendly staff & front reception. Breakfast was tasty & just right amount for me. Unfortunately had burst pipe on visit so towels everywhere but it didn't spoil my stay. Eel worth the money.

For our weekend in London we didn't want to spend a fortune.
What a godsend to find a hotel at €200 for 2 nights! (Double room for 2)
We were very quickly disenchanted!
Staff at the reception few welcome and not giving any information.
The elevator is rundown and looks more like a closet. You will eventually end up borrowing the stairs given the waiting time.
Let's talk about the room, tiny, entering the front door slams into the closet door.
A foul odor of bleach (used to clean the bathroom) invades the room. No drain or in the sink (practice the soap that the maid drops in and does not remove, hello the plugs) nor in the bathtub (farewell the Baths).
The hotel puts at your disposal 2 soap (including 1 that the maid drops in the sink and does not replace), 2 towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper. No shampoo or cotton swab…
The bedding is in poor condition and the bed top is to be renewed given the number of tasks.
There is a desk and enough to have tea and coffee (positive) but no chair so it will be standing or in bed.
The bed from one side stuck to the wall so no passage.
And the icing on the cake, the fire alarm of the room that fires in the middle of the night at 00:30 the first night, what a sweet and restful night!
The alarm reactivated in the morning even around 8:30.

Its strong point is the location: it is located a few tens of meters from the "tube" (District Line, West Brompton stop). Quiet Hotel, typical English breakfast, but don't expect anything else. It's just B.

Bad service, old room and barely clean. Paint of chipped walls, broken plate ceiling, unacceptable bedding. To avoid at all costs.

Definitely overpriced. In a room for 1 c they were 5 beds stuck.

Our stay was enjoyable room was clean bed was hard and uneven really need to change the mattress. Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was wonderful. Close to everything. Loved our stay.

Friendly guy on reception. Had to wait 10 mins for rooms to be cleaned (and they were clean). Plastic wood and magnolia. Cheap and cheerful. In my experience certainly not the horror hotel described by others. Bed is comfy, clean. Hot and cold running water. Needs a make over ie skirting boards need sanding down and glossing and a lick of paint in general. If you want boutique or large chain quality in London then you really can't expect to pay £45 per night (including a modest cooked breakfast) and receive it. I may have been fortunate to get a larger room but the bathroom was on the 'overly comfy' size. On a budget and are prepared to travel in/out of the very heart of London using public transport? Then this is worth considering.

The hotel was in a very convenient place for us during our stay, staff was very friendly and polite, breakfast was fine, the room was sleepable and we had clean towels and the bed made each morning, however the room really could do with some TLC, windows was full of mould, room very dusty, hardly any lighting due to bulbs that had gone and not replaced, shower curtain and pole was broken and was in the bath wen we got to our room so showering was impossible with out wetting the entire bathroom no plug for the sink so couldn't fill the sink either, tea stains all down one side of the wall, a big gap in the window so there was draft in the room thankfully the weather wasnt too bad so we wasnt too cold, room was very small. Price was good compared to other hotels in london but you shouldn't have to get your own detol wipes out and start cleaning your room.

A good comfortable budget hotel. Compact comfortable rooms with bath/shower. Restaurant and bar. Cooked breakfast and cereal.

Wouldn't let a dog sleep here! Was disgusting! Sheets had piss stains on them. Blankets had piss stains on them! Room didn't look like it had had a hoover in years! Dust everywhere! Windows don't close properly! Really really avoid if I was you! Anyone that has given this hotel more than one star is a plant and works for the hotel!

Okay place to stay if your going to London for a night out. We drove there. The hotel offered over night parking till 11am for £13 extra which was convenient. Breakfast included was pretty basic. Overall, if your in the city to do more, out and about and don't mind a standard bed to sleep in then this place is for you.

I did my rservation 2 weeks in advance, they cancell it the day before due to problems with my card. I inmediately called to solve the situation but they ignore me. Stuff not helpfull at all.

Very small room, good breakfast, very good location,

The only advantage is that is very well connected, with a nearby metro station. The hotel is shabby, rooms very small, almost like the bed, bathrooms leave a bit to be desired, not put shampoo, nor hands, damaged carpeting towel. All very thick. And some of their somewhat unpleasant staff. We had to change the pillows to be yellow and they bother much. We stayed two nights. To leave the suitcases in custody they gained 20 pounds by four suitcases in hand.

Stayed at Hotel Lily London for two nights. Just less than 10 minutes’ walk to the Hammersmith Apollo. The room was clean, bright and comfortable. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. Can enjoy both. Highly recommend.

This was a quick two night visit to London and we choose this Hotel Lily as it was convenient to Earls court station. Rooms were certainly very clean and comfortable. I would happily stay here again.

I and my wife stayed at Hotel Lily for 2 nights. This was one of the best budget hotel in Earls court. Very friendly helpfully staff, spotlessly clean beautifully decorated big airy rooms. Thank you to all the friendly staff.

The hotel is fine for its price. The rooms are quite small in size. The beds are fine and other amenities are provided such as TV, Wi-Fi, cupboards. Most staff members are friendly apart from one or two jerks.

Stupid hotel no stuff u will do anything u need and you will move all of your bags no one will help.

Having just spent 2 nights at the Lily Hotel, I would like to make the following comments upon our stay. The room was tiny only large enough for a single bed but had a double bed crammed up to the wall. There was no seat or stool, bathroom door would not open fully and although the corner of the bath was cut off you still could not get in properly. The wash basin which had no plug leaked water all over the floor each time the tap was used, when we reported it they put a bath mat on the floor to soak up the water. But with the mat there you could neither open or close the door. Not that the door would close anyway as the catch missed the keeper and so you had to lock it. Because the space was so small you could not get from the bathroom into the bedroom if the wardrobe door was open. There was no choice of breakfast it was English or nothing and all ways cold and comprised watery beans, a slice of bacon, a sausage and an egg followed by toast and jam which was fine. By the way you got no hand towel just two bath towels.

The worst hetel I have ever seen. They required stroage fee and I also put my baggauges into strage myself. And there was no lift to 4 floors.

The staffs were excellent and made our visit a pleasure, Very helpful staff. Good option for Bed and Breakfast accommodation. We will definitely use Hotel Lilly again and be happier to refer to friends and family.

One of the best cheap hotels in Kensington is Hotel Lily that is comfortable with all modern amenities in a classy setting.

Stayed here for one night after seeing a show. Really convenient as only a 5 minute walk from earl's court station. Its one of the best 3 star hotel in Earl's Court.

Absolutely not recommended! There have been Christmas 2013, linen is dirty, the towels they know frying pan, there are no electrical outlets, if not in the bathroom mirror (but you have to leave the light on), the neon of the room takes minutes to turn on, no Chair to lay something, only 2 tiny soaps in the bathroom, the phone you have to ask at reception and then bring it back for gluten free breakfast, but to no avail, the reception didn't speak Italian, and someone is also quite rude.

Could do with some TLC. Room was basic but comfortable. Breakfast was full English Breakfast and was nice. Staff were friendly. It's an ok Hotel for not a lot of money. If you want a 5 star hotel then go somewhere else.

I do not recommend it anyone crappy, they do not put shampoo and towels just one for all.

Hello everyone, I was in this hotel in December 2012 and I paid Anke very much the stay of 4 nights!
I start by saying right away Ke in London is my second city and I go there often now since 2008 and this is definitely the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in.

Bathroom with broken window (always open) and a cold hallucinating.

The staff is extremely rude. Corridors are smelly. They charged us 20 pounds to store our bags without taking responsibility for them. The staff drove my wife in to tears, so we preferred to lose the deposit and leave losing it than stay there a single additional minute.

Staff, in the face of China old age openly humiliates and Hamit. For each bag left in a dirty basement, before the settlement, took 5 pounds, 250 p, 1 large backpack and 2 small bags on wheels, 20 pounds. ETL robbery, a room without a castle, bury who wants to.
