The hotel is located in an underground neighborhood, graffiti, pubs with live music and many clubs. The rooms some are large and others smaller and the same for the night noise that you hear in the rooms that give on the street and you do not feel if you have the room in the interior of the hotel. In the room we found no closet to lay shirts and T-shirts but only a chair and a small station with four hangers to hang something. Great room cleaning and order on return in the evening. Breakfast is both salty and sweet, on average assorted with excellent croissants, a bit of a queue to enter but no more than 5 minutes. The staff are friendly and helpful, the Wi-Fi line great and good room cleanliness. The price for the family, there were 4 of us, it's about 120 euros in high season.

The hotel has a very good location and offers good price quality ratio. Still, the breakfast includes only sausage and scrambled eggs — no cheese, ham or similar. Also, there is no refrigerator / mini-bar in the room, so if you want a cold beer you need to buy it on the spot or to use the ice machine.

Stayed here a few times before for business and always consistent. Room is good, even facing road it's not too noisy with the triple glazing. Not used it myself, but nice touch with the complimentary smartphone for use during your stay. Really nice, large shower. Breakfast isn't amazing, but good to get it at least and this is an 'express' not a standard holiday inn, so to be expected. Saying that Croissants are really good!

Comfortable Hotel near the Metro… if only the rooms were a bit larger and with some closet x put clothes…

I loved the room because the beds were really comfy and we got a cleaner every day to clean up our room! Also it came with a breakfast buffet! It was delicious!

Nice hotel, although the rooms are a bit small, especially the family room. Hardly any room to move. However the breakfast is very good!

We were very disappointed with the outside of the hotel, very ugly and dirty and old but the room was nice and cosy. Few staffs are nice some are cold. Breakfast is poor in choices.

Hotel good for express visitors. Not that good hotel for family as the r9om size is small and also it dose not have wardrobe. Hence it is best for an single person or an cuple. But the location of the hotel. Is good as it is in the centre of the city and close to old street underground station.

The breakfast is nice if you let yourself be tempted by a breakfast because if not crusaders and chocolate bread are to be avoided.

The Hotel was very clean. The NS. Room is without closet and we keep suitcases with clothes on the ground. With the temperatures of April it is inconceivable to have to sleep with the duvets… the night you sweat.
The third sofa bed is squeaking.

Perfect! Has everything you could wish for, great location (although many restaurants and bars in the area very quiet in the rooms), very nice staff, delicious breakfast and very clean and nice rooms! Will definitely come back.

Very impressed with this budget hotel. Smart decor, clean and a great location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a good selection of produce for breakfast. Hot and cold buffet, pastries and fresh fruit.

Modern but cramped rooms, good room service and better food.

The hotel is in a very busy location, I would say it was a party district. The windows are very well insulated, neither from the noise of the people nor from the city traffic is something to hear. Liverpool Street Station is within walking distance of 12min, and the Airport Express Stansted is a 15-minute drive away. The staff was friendly, the room clean, the breakfast adequate.
Ideal for tourists who only stay a few days or weekends.

Not very expensive and especially at some subway station of the tourist Center of London. Rather basic services.

Clean but the lifts are terribly out of date. I was also put in a disabled room with the shower seat that wouldn't stay up when put away. Not ideal to placement of a guest who does not need a shower seat. Water was also everywhere on the floor due to lack of shower door or curtains which I can understand for people who might need the space and support beam but again this is placing the wrong guest in the wrong room. Vending machine only had red bull, no water. No water bottles in the room. Service at the bar non existent — stood there for 5 mins with no service. No restaurant for dinner. Breakfast is pretty average.

After reading several of the bad reviews I wondered if I should even bother adding mine on top of all the others. But, I just can't let this slide. As far as IHG properties go, this hotel has to be at the bottom as far as quality is concerned, even for a Holiday Inn Express. Of the 7 days I stayed at this hotel, 3 of the days the room was actually cleaned as it should be. On my last night there, they didn't even bother to take the trash out of the room or even replace the towels. I had to go down to the desk and request them. Then, if this isn't bad enough, I awake in the morning to find there is no hot water in the room, so no shower today. I guess either the staff did this on purpose for me demanding towels and complaining about the room cleaning or it was the Cleaning Staff's message to me that I wouldn't be needing the towels anyway. As for the breakfast, yes, it's included in the room, but you get what you pay for. Nothing on the breakfast is worth noting. It's food, move along. Do yourself a favor, find another hotel, that's all I have to say.

Clean, quiet close to the city center via the subway a 3 minute walk. Located near a trendy neighborhood. It was a perfect stay.

Ideal for tours and as a business stay. It offers good rooms that are clean and functional. Good bathrooms. Breakfast is included and it's good enough to fuel your morning. Bacon isn't crispy but it tastes good. Good scrambled eggs. The staff are helpful and will try to help you with questions. Uber and other fare ride services have a drop off area in front of the hotel so you don't struggle with your luggage. For travellers be mindful that you may struggle with luggage in Old street and may want to get a ride to London bridge if you are going to Gatwick. Would definitely come again.

Well placed hotel close to bus stations and Metro. Convenient to go to the center of London. Comfortable, well-equipped rooms (Wi-Fi, kettle, hairdryer) and soundproofed. Friendly and helpful staff.

14th Floor, nice view and clean room. Prices are of course season dependent. I've been there in October and to this Zeitpkt. The prices were very acceptable (€155 for 2 days without breakfast). The W-Lan is only available at the bottom of the lobby. Furthermore, I recommend to take breakfast outside the hotel, as outside is somewhat cheaper.

Very close to Old Street subway station. Very convenient to turn the capital. Rooms not so small. Clean and international breakfast.

The price/quality ratio is fine for London, the breakfast corresponds to the western performance. The central location and good transport connections are convincing.

Get amazed about how good the hotel is. Great staff that helps for everything and have everything you need. My only tip is get a adapter for your power outlet if your charger is different.

Convenient for the City and public transport this formulaic hotel has standard smallish rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, buffet breakfast and plenty of restaurants nearby. Average bar which doubles as a corridor to the breakfast room, functional but lacking atmosphere. Plenty of more pleasant drinking places nearby. Value for money price makes it attractive for short stay.

I stayed here for almost a month. I liked the delicious breakfast and comfort of the room. Attendants regularly clean the rooms no matter you are out or in. Once I left a good cash in the room, to my surprise it was intact on the table. Best service.

It was a very nice hotel. Great location for tube and bus… great breakfast plentiful throughout.

Landmark for My Stays in London. For a couple of years the area has been full of popular and trendy clubs. The hotel provides its guests with a mobile phone (handy, combined with the number of the occupied room) with which to make free calls and internet connections, to take advantage of a personalized guide of the city. The staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast, included in the price, is served from 7 o'clock. 10 a. M. To 10 a. M. 00. It is a short walk from Old Street tube station and EasyBus terminus: to and from Stansted Airport.

Poor service by staff. The bed spread was not clean and having some marks on that. I just kept the luggage and decided to go out for dinner meanwhile Requested reception guys to get it changed and got assurance that it will be immediately changed. After my return it was same. When requested again, got same assurance. After waiting for 20 more minutes I went to reception, then staff started telling their excuses and blame game within. It felt helpless and returned to the room and managed with the dirty bed spread. They never believe in picking up reception phone, one has to chase them for a simple information.

Great place best hotel I have stayed in. There is a free breakfast as well great customer service. Great place. The only down fall ate pubs near by but still all is good.

The location is great: 3 min from Old Street Station (Northern line, two stops from King's Cross, then the world) and from the bus stops that take you to both Liverpool Street and elsewhere. With 20-25min of bus you will arrive at Oxford Circus, with less at Liverpool Station. The area is very quiet considering that we are in zone 1 and well stocked with services/bar/restaurant/Streetfood: Chinese, pizzerias, Turkish, Fish & chips, kebab, Barber… Next to the tree there is a Sainsbury supermarket. Several times we dined in the room with food take away without any problems. Staff very helpful and help. Fully functional Wi-Fi, free luggage service, great breakfast, clean, functional and soundproofed rooms. New and modern furniture. They also offer PC and printer service. But above all they offer a free SMARTPHONE service, with Wi-Fi, calls and free 4g data traffic! You find it directly in the room, exceptional.

Good but the street side is a bit noisy. There is a double window but as the outside window did not close correctly I asked to change, and it was done without difficulty. Satisfied with the stay.

Three nights in a double room, very friendly and helpful staff, clean room and bathroom. The hotel provided us with a smartphone with internet and free calls abroad, we often used it as a navigator or to look for places while visiting the city. It is 5 minutes from Old Street Station and via the Northern Line you will arrive in the centre in about 10 minutes.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Very good all round. No biscuits with the complimentary tea though which was a bit odd but there is breakfast included.

Very rude and unhelpful member of staff. He called me all the names under the sun when I asked if they had an inhaler in their first aid kit for my friend who was having an asthma attack on the pavement outside. I will be complaining to head office as his language and behaviour was disgusting and completely heartless.

The location of the hotel is great for Shoreditch & Hoxton (it's a short walk from Old Street underground station) and the staff are friendly & attentive. It's just a little on the basic side & the breakfast is really mediocre. If you just want a base to explore central London, then this hotel will do just fine.

I got a really nicely renovated room on the 5th floor. The room was clean and very comfortable. One should consider though, that there is a reason for ear plugs provided in the room. I think the nosiest thing in the room was the ventilation in the bathroom. The breakfast is really minimalistic but good. Very ennglish I would say. The receptionist are a little bit sloppy, but friendly. Overall I liked staying there.

Great location, clean, nice staff. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, thou missing bacon. The rooms aren't very spacious but enough for couple of days. Only bad thing: I was woken up by shouts in the streets during weekend, as the location is right next to many clubs.

Rooms small but OK for a couple of nights. Staff were friendly but it really was the position that made this a good hotel. Located on Old Street it has plenty of bars, clubs and restaurants nearby, this could explain the lack of restaurant facilities in the hotel itself. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a Holiday Inn express.

Service very good, rooms new, near a station of metro and ahead of an of bus. Generally well located and 20 minutes from the Centre. It only against that the Wi-Fi is very expensive.

In England, there is I believe no HIE, there are somewhere on the course or to vomit smell in the room. Location perfect, but otherwise most.

Good location for our business purposes, good rooms that appear to have been recently refurbished, and friendly service from that staff. Shame about the malfunctioning air conditioning that wheezed, banged land chartered throughout the night.

Much nicer on the inside than it looks on the outside. Overall, for the price and location, really nice.

Handy for old st tube and exactly what you expect from HIE. Friendly staff clean rooms but they are experiencing a few problem with noisy aircon. To be fair they have a rolling programme of fixing this and do provide earplugs which I did not need as the problem was so slight. Thoughtful touch anyway. This is my favourite place to stay when on business in the city.

If you like indian food please Try The Taj Restaurant in 10 Carlton Parade Orpington Kent BR6 0JB open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday 5.30pm to 11.30pm and Sunday 5.30pm to 11.00pm.

It has been very well, except the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, very beautiful and comfortable rooms traveled with our son already more and the poor are nailed all Springs mattress, nice employees, trying to help us all to make our stay pleasant and spoke Spanish, if he should return could repeat without hesitation.

A modern inn that will give you the luxury that you want but will not ask for more fees. Holiday Inn is one great place to stay with in London.

Perfectly located right next to bars, clubs and restaurants near Hoxton Square. Good location for your journey around London as the tube is very close. Clean room and very helpful staff.

Pretty average hotel showing some signs of heavy duty usage. It's convenient for Old Street tube, but the Premier Inn around the corner is much much better. Express breakfast is pretty naff and the surroundings are pretty noisy. Good for the IHG points, but that's about it.

We had a family room and the sofa bed was not fit for purpose. So uncomfortable we had to remove the mattress and lay it on the floor. Service at the bar was good though, and breakfast was okay.

For a hotel of this price class, all with good is to evaluate. Since you only a couple of days the breakfast and the bed uses rule typically as London tourist, one can overlook the average user breakfasts and the rather small rooms. Room service i. O. Cleanliness of the rooms and in the WC / wet section top, kindness at the reception also. On the doorstep of BusStop. 4 minutes walk to the tube OldStreet — thumb up.
We are even at 31 12. Walking up to the River Thames in approx. 40 minutes nice sometimes.
Oh by the way. One more: the toilet in the lobby next to the elevator is left not recommended (5 + at most). Who suddenly feels digestion with the legwork of the stairs or the elevator ride, should turn back on own room ;-) is bessa.
