Friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, great pub as well.

Can’t thank the staff enough for being able to accommodate us and 2 children as we were let down with another booking — we had travelled from Liverpool to take the girls to a concert at the O2 — the staff were absolutely lovely and really helpful and great pub too. We will definitely be back — thank you again.

Where others don't let away fans in, these guys do. Not only do they let us in, the feed us for free! food constantly topped up, and never longer than a few minutes to get a reasonably priced pint (cheap for London) great hosts. Will be back next season, if Charlton stay up of course.

Absolute fantastic staff and great clean pub and drinks great and well looked after as away football supporters and also food for the lads free on football days for away teams.

Yesteday we check in here Jonathan from Norwich and Liz the staff member who think was owner who check us in he was well amazing so nice and friendly and other staff were all amazing so kind and helpful our room was amazing so lovely if we ever come to London again we will now always book here I give you ten out ten for your customer care thank you so much Jonathan and Liz.

We stayed there last weekend. It’s a really lovely friendly hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. Super easy to get to the O2 from there too. We will definitely be back :)

Comfy, clean and friendly and well connected to buses station and tube.

The hotel has a pub, yesterday were in it, friendly staff and there is entertainment, four put for a meager range of beer.

We stayed on the 3rd floor in the twin room. It was unfortunately very very hot, mostly due to the window only opening for a hand span. The window itself was. Erythromycin rickety and held up by a small piece of wood — it could be opened wider, but it would not stay open as the mechanism was broken. On the plus side, the room was clean with a kettle inside and a small sink. The bathrooms were ok, although shared. It was not a bad stay, it was just very warm due to the windows being faulty.

Nice hotel, bit basic but clean and tidy. Good all round.

Only stayed for one night, but was worth the money and was within walking distance of the O2 which was really convenient.

Rooms cleaned every day, towels changed daily, Great friendly bar staff, great place to relax in after a hard day at work.

Lovely location, just round the corner from my London marathon start line and actually on the route. Staff were lovely and friendly. Room was very clean, presentable and adequate for our needs. Would definitely stay again. I would recommend.

Really nice little rooms for the price and a very friendly owner. The pub was audible at night, but not so badly we couldn't sleep.

Clean and comfortable with great transport links to the city. Be aware if you're a light sleeper that the rooms are above a bar and there's likely to be noise outside during the night. Didn't bother us though, had a good sleep and a lovely stay. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

I held my husband's wake their on Friday they went out of their way to make sure it all went smoothly the staff constantly checked on food taking a way any empty plates and refilling this pub meant a lot to me and my husband it was where we first met 27 years ago and I can't thank the staff and of course the manager for all they done I would recommend it to anyone for any special occasion you couldn't ask for better attention to detail thank you.

Great London pub close to train station. Basic, but clean and comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. Would certainty stay again for an O2 event.

Very nice friendly people… beautiful room However there was no hot water and the bathroom was icy seemed to stay at the North Pole.

Really enjoyed going for a quiet afternoon beer. Friendly staff and shows sports.

Stayed here to see celine dion lovely place beds comfortable and friendly. Not far from the 02 £5 taxi or walk in 20 mins.

Nice welcoming bar clean with original fittings good selection of drinks. Proper old fashioned bar in a good way nice retro feel, friendly staff, can't comment on rooms but a Google search should help you there, oh and very handy for the O2 walking distance or bus stop 10 meters from hotel.

Good position to O2 and clean room although toilet had been clearly used by someone else as it was seperate to our room. Also kettle was not working correctly. It started to boil then turned itself off! Then on again. Very odd.

Friendly welcome, clean rooms and even using a shared bathroom was okay. Easy access to the 02. Would stay there again.

It's an 'old school' public house of south east London, if you remember to be polite and courteous you will be fine and it's a good place to socialisse.

The rooms are great, comfy beds and the (I presume? ) land lady is lovely! It's super clean and welcoming.

Ok. Welcoming helpful host, rooms clean and we'll presented but a lot of traffic noise all through the night.

Friendly greeting. Room nicely styled and comfortable. Kettle was broken but rectified immediately when they were informed. Unsure of whether a Wi-Fi code was meant to be provided but was advertised as Wi-Fi provided and none given so questionable.

Very pleasant stay, good location easy to get the bus to north Greenwich underground stop where you can get the tube into centre London.

Passed yesterday and it doesn't look as if it has been cleaned for a long time, but I stayed there in 1981 as a diver on the Barrier it was comfortable, basic and clean staying over a public didn't appeal so I had to move to Shornell's on Bossall Hill if anyone remembers that haunted places.

The owner was very kind and simpatic, however I was on the last floor, broken window, no internet connection (which suppose to be) and no voice in Tv which I told to the owner at signing off. Beds very comfortable tho, fan in the room. Very good place to O2 Arena.

We enjoyed a few drinks here whilst on a stag do pub crawl. Really nice and friendly atmosphere. Was very drunk though so can't remember a great deal.

This a great hotel a perfect home away from home. The people here could not have made us more welcome. I will definitely recommend to all my friends in the UK also when I go home to Florida USA.

I was only in the pub downstairs. It is a nice local pub with good music. It is frequented by locals usually, which is not always ideal, because there is a fair amount of sketchy people. The selection of beers is not the best, but it is a decent pub to go to if you live close by, especially if it is past 11pm. It sometimes stays open until 1

Great place, for the price also! The bar is very nice, with lounge areas and pool table, Rooms are clean, was worried about shared showers as the room with the on suite was taken, but the showers and toilets were very clean! |Great gem in the middle of london| Staff are very friendly also.

Me and my son have stayed here for the last 4 years and we wouldn't change a thing, lovely clean rooms, and the staff are fantastic, we always enjoy our stay. Recommended always.
