Very nice and cozy hotel. There was a coffee machine with capsules in the standard room. Also water and beer in the mini bar are free. The hotel has a beautiful interior and good service. There is also a pub inside the building.
The location is good if you want to settle in the City. All the same the area is for the amateur, because at the weekend it is very quiet and shops close early. But personally I liked the area more than others, where I lived. And I give the hotel 10 out of 10 stars.

Really good looking hotel, nice and stylish. Big comfortable bed and a bottle of craft beer on house. Aircon in the room. Very good location — 10 minutes walk to the Tower Bridge.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. Friendly staff, clean rooms and lots to do in the area. Definitely make time for the roof top pool which is refreshing in the summer but will also give you great views of the falls illumination and fireworks.

Ok pub for a few beers, not a great range on tap compared to some places and the outside smoking area is just an alleyway but lots of space and comfortable seating inside.

Good location, good service, nice and quiet room except the noise in the corridor you may hear through the main door. I especially appreciated the breakfast which is good and copiuou. I also appreciated the "charm" of the stairs and some of the doors.

Good for the money paid, but first room. I had was noisy. After asking to be moved the second room was a lot better. Rooms are not the most modern interior he world, but also not too dated. For international travelers they supply a big android device for your use while out and about in London, and you can make free calls on it too (not relevant to me, but a nice touch). They also provide a lightly stocked (a couple of beers, bottled water etc) mini-bar which is complimentary and restocked each night, which is also a nice touch. Bed was comfortable and room clean.

Nice hotel, small but very competent chain, and helpful, pleasant staff. Turned up very late one Sunday night after phoning ahead and they were exceptionally helpful. Lovely quiet room and a good place to have a civilised drink.

Great little hotel with very friendly and considerate staff, cozy yet modern rooms, good breakfast and very well stocked bar with an attached restaurant that offers tasty pub food classics.
I've stayed twice so far. During my first stay, we had to leave one day early due to a short notice appointment, but we couldn't change the advance booking. However, we received a room upgrade, free breakfast for the other two days and a generous voucher for the restaurant. Very considerate and friendly!
The rooms are very well furnished and have a complimentary minibar that is stocked with water and two beers that are refilled every day. Then of course there is complimentary tea and coffee, bath robes and slippers and all other standard amenities. For guests with no good mobile roaming options, there also is "handy", a complimentary smartphone that you can carry with you during your stay for free mobile internet, free worldwide calls and deals for stores and attractions.

Excellent. Comfortable. Clean. And nice people. Even a receptionist spoke Spanish, they give beer and water to the fridge in the room, a unique courtesy. Breakfast is lacking more fruit, but the rest is excellent. A lot of kindness.

Good location I really liked it a lot.

I don't know how these places do it. In the heart of the city, yet still away from all the bustle. Is modern, yet retains a old world charm. Definitely not your run of the mill businesses chain hotel.

The bar is quite nice although its menu is not extensive. The dishes for Comprartir are excellent.

Place to do an after Office, good variety of beer tossed, wine not many choices and food, has a few dishes to ask for. While there is little choice of food it is good.

Just a warning regarding this hotel. I made a booking for myself and a friend, his wife and his daughter. The booking was for 2 rooms for a night in early March. A week ago my friend's wife was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She has now had surgery to remove part of the tumor and she will be starting chemo therapy in 2 to 3 weeks. The hotel was connected in the hopes of securing a refund, but the hotel refused. They have offered to rebook the rooms at a later date, up to July of 2018. My friend's wife might not live that long and certain cannot make a 11 hour flight within 5 months. Be aware that the hotel does not make any exceptions to the non-refundable rule. British Airways on the other hand was great about offering a refund due to the circumstances.

Classic pub hotel with a few issues around the edges. Needs new fixture s and fittings to update the place. It's also in the business area so nothing to do at night. Fortunately there's transport links very near. We had a lovely room on the top floor with a view of the Gherkin. Everything's fine and love the idea of a drink and toothpaste and shaving foam for free, nice touches. the only issue we had is food. something is going on in their kitchen, two of our three meals came out cold which is not great. That given we were offered a discount on the room and food by the fantastic management staff big shout out of those Deborah and Chris.

Turned up spontaneously with a party of 12. Staff were really helpful and were happy to rearrange part of the dining room for us to accommodate. Service was quick, polite and well managed. Food arrived in a timely manner and to a great standard.

Good value for money in London. Near the subway. Very good service from the hotel staff, highlighting the hamaability of the Italian girl who atendia breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay again at this hotel.

Great hotel near the Tower of London and Tower Hill tube station. Part of the Fuller's brewery series of pub hotels, which meant free beer in the minibar! The rooms were clean and spacious and the bathrooms even more spacious. I stayed at this great hotel for a month. Service was excellent the staff warm, pleasant and catered to every need. Chris patiently answered my many questions. The rooms are spacious & very well equipped with handy phone which has free internet & telephone, coffee machine & all amenities. Breakfast is very good & varied. The bar is lively & noisy & has quite good food. The hotel is quite far from city center but very close to tube & multiple bus stations which make any part of London easily accessible. I strongly recommend. I don't understand why my review was marked 3/5: I wrote that everything was exceptional & I would rate the hotel as 5/5

A typical pub and a festive atmosphere. A good choice of beer and classic whiskies.

This hotel is in a great location and the staff are amazing! The room was exceptionally clean and housekeeping works around the clock. The front desk staff happily gave us detailed directions every time we asked. The amenities are also exceptional as you're allowed two complimentary bottles of local beer as well as bottled water. The food in the pub is great as was the service. I will always book this hotel while traveling through London.

A definite easy recommendation. This hotel looks and feels historic but with all of the modern and amenities. The staff is super courteous and helpful and it's location is ideal for seeing London. Stay here!

Drinks for two and food for one. I had the chicken and mushroom pie with mash and greens which was unbelievably delicious. The gravy was just right and rounded up the dish perfectly. Yuuuuuum. Ended my meal with the Apple strudel and would eat it again tomorrow. Absolutely fab. Lovely staff too :)

Used the suite downstairs. Excellent catering provided by the team. Nice decor to the rooms also.

Old fashioned hotel two minutes walking to the Tower. Excellent bed very large and very comfortable. Clean and large bathroom with shower. Coffee machine and kettle. Wifi is poor as everywhere. Injurious price 16.95 fir the breakfast. Actually if you book it the day before it is 'only' 10.95. It is good, anyway, everything is fresh and well cooked on the spot. They offer a number of fixed menu each one with something that I like and something that I don't like. Carpet in the stair needs to be renovated and an armchair in the room is much needed.

Had drinks and food in the bar. Food was good. Was nice and quiet on a Saturday afternoon for sitting having a chat and catching up with some friends who were staying at the hotel. They said their room was nice. Good location near to tube stations and not far from Tower of London.

I was in the hotel to accompany two guests. The lobby is clean and quiet.

Friendly, large luxury bathrooms and great location. Food is stunning. It all feels a a little tired, hence four stars rather than five, although this wouldn't discourage me from staying again. The staff are extremely helpful and genuine willing to help. Clean, quiet room and comfortable. Recommended.

Very British von Pub attached with very good beers. Not cheap but with very nice room and bathroom, with a superlative English Breakfast, von Friendly and helpful people, close to two strategic subways in full City!

Large bar restaurant which is part of the Fullers chain of pubs. It has a nice range of beer and a small outside area which was nice and sunny when we were there. There's no outside seating however.

Gets a little crowded around the bar during the evening. But you can usually find a quieter area towards the back.

Excellent room, very pleasant staff. Overall the room was a very decent size for a city hotel, and nicely equipped with a proper coffee machine, free snacks and beer from the associated brewery and other similar nice touches. The bed was comfortable, modern design throughout — really just very pleasant. The only real negative was that the bathroom was a little dated for what was the most premium room category, and didn't appear to fit with the rest of the room. I'm not tall (under six foot) but had to duck slightly under the shower. All that being said, I'd happily stay again.

I had an absolutely brilliant stay for the boat show weekend and found it faultless.

Sadly, this is the second time that me and my work colleagues have been disappointed with the food and service at this pub. The first time was on our work Christmas party! We have waited for over an hour to receive our food and when it finally came it was also horrible. Same for yesterday's food and service. The waitress are all nice and kind however the service is very slow and the food was of very low standards. I've ordered a simple chargrilled lamb sandwich with grilled aubergines. The food came late and warm/cold in temperature. The lamb was very tough and dry, the aubergines horrible and the ciabatta bread stale. I just couldn't believe it! How do you get wrong to cook lamb and get it so tough I don't know. Lamb is the most tender meat. Highly disappointed. Nor me or my work colleagues will be back. Their food was not good either and very dry. P. S. : I used to love this place and its food a couple of years ago, but since over a year things have changed and perhaps the CHEF has changed too! Change CHEF!
