Bad … really bad. As a Life Time Platinum Member you would think that I could expect good service. But no, we were forced to wait in the lobby for 4 hours (until 3 pm) for our room to be cleaned. They had no places for us to sit in the lobby except for an over sized bench and they were rude when we wanted to sit at a table because they have made the lobby into a restaurant. I could understand if they had customers wanting to sit at the table, but only 1 table was being used out of 25-30. I asked for a room upgrade and was told that the hotel was full (the standard lie Marriott tells their best customers). I went to the Marriott website and every level of room could be booked. Our room had a view of the train station roof. Being a dome roof, that was all we could see. Again, such a nice way to say "Thank you for being a life time Platinum Member… now please start staying at Hilton where they care about good customers. " The spa is located in the basement and is SMALL, the men's locker room can accommodate 2 men if they are willing to become close friends. The steam and sauna is co-ed. 3 of the 5 nights we stayed here they had a private function taking place in there restaurant and we could not eat there. But they told us we could eat in the train station. Really? I traveled all the way to London to eat dinner in a train station? Yes, that is why I paid 400.00 a night for a room, so I could eat dinner in a train station. When booking this hotel I over looked the bad reviews, I have learned that the bad reviews are true. Stay at another hotel.
