Everything just goes smoothely at this hotell. Nive staff, clean rooms. Great location.

Clean, nice, moderately priced, and walking distance from Kings Cross Station.

After several bad experiences at some big hotel companies it was lovely to find this little gem of hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great service. The room was spacious and very clean. Really comfortable bed. The shower was amazing really powerful. The breakfast was really good and the chef was very accommodating to your preferences of how you like your food, he listened and delivered. We where even aloud to leave our luggage after checking out so we could spend our last day sightseeing without dragging our bags around with us until we were ready to leave for the train. Love the fact this is a family run business that makes you feel at home. Will definitely be booking this hotel for all my London trips and Will be recommending this hotel to everyone.

Rooms were perfect and breakfast was beautiful, and a thank you my son left his phone behind and with your help it was posted to me in Northern Ireland thank you so much.

the people were extremely friendly and helpful however we had room two and there was three of us we could barely turn around and the bathroom was one of the smallest I’ve ever seen other than that it was a lovely city and we enjoyed ourselves.

This hotel has hot toilet or shower inside each room. There are 2 toilets and 1 shower for all the guests. The location is good but for what I paid there are more options. In the hotels. Com description it does not says about the shared shower and toilets. The only good thing is the location.

Small hotel very close to Kings Cross. Off a back street that can be hidden. Got turned around a couple of times. Be sure to follow the directions for which underground exit you come up because there are two HSBC banks and only one is right. The other bank is wrong and won't get you back to the hotel. If you don't see The burger king then go back into the underground and try spun. The staff were friendly and took my bag all the way to the attic room enter I stayed. Great view of rooftops with windows that open! Awesome breakfast (with coffee) made fresh and free when you book direct. Definitely book direct. Small rooms but perfect if you are just looking to sleep and need a base to do so. Definitely will stay again.

Turned out to be a decent budget hotel, including a rather filling breakfast, served between 7:30 and 9:00. Be careful while booking, though, because some of less costly rooms rooms don't have private bathrooms, and you'll have to share the one in the basement. The room only has a sink, no toilet or bath. Very close to the tube, but not a fancy neighborhood. We chose to eat dinner in other neighborhoods.

Incredibly convenient location near King’s Cross and St. Pancras stations and that + the price is definitely the main selling point. Small and simple rooms, albeit clean and with nice modern bathrooms. I wouldn’t spend more than a couple nights here, but it certainly gets the job done.

Rooms and amenities are very basic, but what can you expect when looking for a budget room in Central London. Stair access only to all rooms, so if you're lugging lots of luggage, or reduced mobility, best go elsewhere. So close to major roads and poor sound-proofing means you will hear traffic in the night, and/or fellow guests. On the positive side, staff at the desk are very helpful.

Great little hotel, Very close to St Pancras and Euston, which is a perfect spot for a quick overnight stay. Breakfast was very nice Rooms are on the small side which you would expect and the photos online are very representative of what you get. Adequate but not a fancy 4 star hotel if that's what you are looking for.

The Princess Hotel was great. We stayed for a night and being so close to King's Cross was perfect for us as we had a train to catch the following evening. The room was great.

Good value for what it is. The location is great and the staff was very nice. It is certainly no frills, but if you just need a place to sleep, this is a good place. Shared bathrooms, so be prepared, but it's not bad. There are sinks in the rooms which is nice. No lifts.

The room was pretty warm and there is no air conditioning. You can open the windows but at least my room had windows towards the street which was very very noisy even until late at night. Would recommend for cheap accommodation if you don't mind a slightly warm room or a noisy window. Location is pretty good, and close to Kings Cross which is a good transportation hub.

+ Perfect location near Kings Cross station. Really easy to get anywhere from here by bus, train or underground. Staff were nice. The room was big (double bed), nice and clean! Very quiet and calm atmosphere. — You need to leave the key to your room at the reception every time you walk out from the hotel. Maybe it is for security reasons but I find it a bit inconvenient. I went back to the hotel after a dinner, needed to get to the toilet but the staff wasn’t at the reception at that time so I couldn’t get to my room. Luckily one of the staff showed up after 10minutes so I could get to my room before it was too late… — You may need to ask for new towels, I didn’t get new towels changed so I decided to ask for new ones in the 4th night.

The beds are very comfortable. Elmbañones shared but very clean. Near station. Luxury if you're going to take train early.

ILLEGAL WORK PRACTISES & SCAMMERS! On the 24th March I applied for a receptionist position at this hotel through the Job Today app. The position was described as 14 hour shifts, 5 days a week, 7pm to 9am (that adds up to 70 hours per week for a mere £1400-£2000, which is less than minimum wage for me) This shift pattern is overkill but I was convinced the manager (Darren Abela) wouldn’t mind discussing the shifts if I applied. On the 5th April I suddenly received a message from Darren Abela requesting me to come on the same day he sent me the message for an interview. I didn’t see the message in time so I responded the next day and he agreed for me to come on the 7th April at 11:30 for an interview instead. I traveled all the way to Kings Cross with a sprained knee on the day he requested and sat down in the reception. Darren then decides to come out and tells me to go home because he found somebody for the position. I said fine, but I have not received any messages from Darren advising me of this before I came to the hotel so I asked politely if for that reason he can compensate my travel costs. He said no and told me to leave. According to Darren a man named Jason messaged me not to come (no message has been sent to me) I decided to look back at the Job Today app and noticed Darren saw my message questioning the salary and didn’t respond.

Very friendly staff, excellent location. Very good value for money benefit.

REALLY small room but clean and comfortable in an excellent location-wouldn't want to stay more than a night or two though.

The bad thing is that there was no toilet in our room. And you had to share it with the rest at the hotel.

Very good Hotel-the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, the location is exceptional (a few steps from the subway) and the prices affordable. One flaw, very small rooms.

Excellent place. Needs an elevator even if only to bring bags up to the top floor. Friendly family owned!

Fantastic location right outside King's Cross Station. Lovely hot breakfast (was included free when I booked directly through the hotel). Basic double room was basic, but had everything I needed. Sink in room, toilet and shower available one floor away. No lift, but they assisted me with my bags, so no trouble there.

Clean, very nice and helpful staff, but mediocre facilities and tiny rooms without the luxury if, for example, a water boiler for tea or instant coffee.

For the bridge of the immaculate we were in this hotel. Perfect location, within walking distance of King's Cross train and underground station. Small but functional and clean quadruple room. Three shared bathrooms all spotless and efficent. Staff courteous and helpful (a girl speaks Italian), to be reported that have made available for us to get the same room after the cancellation of our flight.
Recommended for a pleasant stay in London.

To get around by bus and train is great… strategic Place… near everything, walking. The shared bathroom is uncomfortable but not to die for.

The place was great! They were very accommodating to our schedule. They kept our luggage while we went out from r lunch and waited for check in.

Location is perfect, 2-3mins walk to underground & St Pancras Station. We stayed in a 3pax room with private bathroom. The room is small & basic as expected. Shower is great. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. Ask for a lower level room if you have a huge luggage coz there’s no lift (as most of the hotels in this area) Will consider staying here again if I happen to travel by Eurostar.

It's ok. Good location for King's Cross. Shared bathroom was small and had a wet floor. Bedroom was small but fine, and I slept well. Wifi worked well.

Basic take you to breakfast the B&B next door as it is the same owner and have made rooms in the old kitchen and dining room.

A simple hotel with London prices and parking. Not bad has rooms quadruple.

Wonderful hotel, fantastic food, polite and helpful staff! We would absolutely stay here again. Definitely have the traditional English breakfast! The building is a tribute to English heritage. Cannot recommend this place enough over a large chain. A+++

Stayed here 2 separate nights in the same week due to some unfortunate circumstances and both times the staff was very accommodating to our late reservations and very understanding. Both times the rooms and showers were clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to any tourists especially at how close it is to London St. Pancras station (5min walk)

Cozy little hotel. Great location right next to Kings Cross St. Pancreas. It was perfect for our weekend stay in London. We had to leave the key in the reception when we went out, checkout was at 11 and they had a place to store luggage, so it had absolutely everything we needed:)

Very convenient to Kings Cross area, attentive staff, and clean rooms. Can take underground direct from Heathrow to Kings Cross, with short walk to hotel. We stayed in the family room which was fairly roomy for four people (bathroom is small! ). Nice neighborhood beyond (south) of hotel also.

Affordable. Convenient location. All very clean and tidy.

Rooms were basic yet clean. Bathrooms seemed recently updated. The common areas were notably less. Like carpets in corridors smelled like dormitory carpets that had been there for a decade. Overall great value for being so close to Kings Cross station.

Room and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and decor felt modern, albeit fairly basic. 24hr reception was handy, staff were friendly and it's good value, especially for the rooms with shared bathrooms.

Princess Hotel was a perfect accommodation for a small break to central. The room was brilliant, we paid a little extra to have our own bathroom facilities. It was clean, tidy and friendly night attendants at front desk. The room seemed small but it was cozy and relaxing. Highly recommended.

Small but efficient room with ac and new in room bath. Very Japanese use of space convenient to transport and a great Sichuan restaurant and several good pubs. Helpful staff arranged a 4: 30 am cab for us.

Comfortable hotel, friendly staff and a good reasonably priced breakfast.

24h service. Breakfast in the hotel next door for £5, which was well worth it. Most of the rooms have shared bathroom, but we decided to pay a bit more to get a room with own (mouldy) bathroom. The hotel is close to Kings Cross with great communications, and has plenty of restaurants nearby. There is also a very nice pub just around the corner. Would recommend for a weekend in London, but not if you want something fancy.

The Jesmond Dene hotel is a very nice place. It's clean, comfortable, and not far from Kings Cross. The staff are very nice as well. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is a few blocks away from the underground/train station. Has good selection for food around. The room I stayed in had two twin size beds. The rooms are warm but they provide a fan.

Very nice small Euro-style hotel. Beds are great, everything was in good repair and relatively recent. Quiet especially if you get a room facing the inside of the block.

The hotel is right next to Kings Cross station which makes it a prime location to stay when you need quick access to a train. Stayed in a twin bedroom with a shower and shared restroom. The shower was a bit small but fully functional and additionally the beds where nice and the hotel had great Wi-Fi even in the bottom floor. Highly recommend, friendly staff, great location, and easy access to the underground and train station.

This place was small as most London hotels seem to be, but the breakfast they gave us was insane. It was like they couldn't wait to get rid of all this food. Both a fully cooked English breakfast, and packaged stuff we could take with us. Very friendly and helpful staff too. Close to trains.

Great central location for many of London's monumental attractions. At 2-5 minutes from great restaurants with Italian cuisine (with Italian staff) at prices all in all modest. Around the corner from the exit/entrance of the King's Cross metro and 5 minutes from the national and international station of St. Pancras. Very simple Hotel and at hand very small bathrooms. Great breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks in particular to the precious help and advice of Florin.

Pros: very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, great location to train station, nice bathroom in our room Cons: our room was very small and some rooms have no windows, uncomfortable bed, the bathroom light is only motion controlled so if someone goes in the middle of the night it may wake up the other person All in all it was a perfectly fine stay. Good place to stay for a night or two especially if you're catching a train. I don't know if I'd recommend for multiple nights, although I believe they do have larger rooms.

Staff was friendly. They allowed us to keep our luggage there even after we had checked out so that we could do another day of exploring London before setting off for the next leg of the trip. It's a London hotel, though. So it's small for what you pay. And the bathrooms are separate. That's to be expected. Bathroom was fine.

Great location, nicely laid out rooms, average cooked breakfast. The en-suite was quite small and the remote for the fan in the room didn't work. Otherwise it was quite pleasant.

We had a great stay there in June 2016. The room was small for our family of four but met our expectations. The staff was helpful and kind. The location could not have been more convenient; literally five minutes walk from King's Cross train — and St Pancras subway stations. Plenty of food and libations within walking distance, and bike share racks nearby for the adventurous. The beds/pillows were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Worst Stay ever in a place they called a hotel, No Way! We where offered a "family room" with absolutey No space to Walk around the room, except when some jumped in to the bed. The beds where from second World war, I Think. Absolutely No comfort. The room below where about to be restored and the owner still gave us the bad room. We lived in a loud room, with welders smoke and cursing and shouting til late Evening. No where Else to be, except in the room. Never again.

I really love living in the vicinity of Kings Crossing, because there really is very convenient to the subway station, also went to the airport and the train station is very easy. If you want to go out and eat some breakfast, a snack, or eat dinner, there is a large selection of food. Hotel is on a very quiet street, but vision is always false, in fact, than you thought it would be a lot, drag the box sounds, there is talk of the sound.

This is a great little hotel, by a group of young people in the camps, they are always ready to warmly assist guests. Our Breakfast is rich and fresh, the vegetables very fast. Room was typical small hotel style, a bit small, but overall very clean. Relative to the St. Pancras train station, the location was ideal, the bus station itself is a pretty amazing place. My room had a strong mold smell, have asthma, I'll say this is indeed a problem. I immediately feel chest stuffy, do not use extra medicine to counteract the mold smell. On the other hand, the hotel service is very good, the bed and amenities were also good, Breakfast also good to eat.

In London lodging is either very expensive or very bad, this place falls half of those descriptions. Without a doubt, the staff is very friendly and helpful, helping you with what you need and are 24 hours. The wonderful thing about this hotel is that if you are arriving by Eurostar to St Pancras is just on the turn and you only have to walk like 3 minutes. To go to any place in london you have a metro station in the corner that connects to many lines so that you have it easy. We take a room with bathroom "shared" but the truth is that just us, what we used, very clean all around, just that if you're used to rooms with large spaces, this is not the place, all very bàsico, your bed, a small desk, a mini wardrobe and a coffee maker with coffee and tea service, although to going as a tourist in London is all you need.

Great location, just a short walk from King's Cross/St Pancras. The hotel was nice, the stairs to the top were a little tight (wouldn't recommend for someone with bad knees). The employees were very nice. The breakfast in the morning seemed a little expensive, but very good. I'd stay there again.

Extremely small and outdated rooms, even for a three star hotel. Beyond unprofessional lady at the reception. Being absolutely unkind and rude aside, you would at least expect some semblance of hiding behind professionalism — which is what a lot of terribly run places do — not this one.

We were very happy with our stay. Our triple room was small but with very comfortable beds, well-designed use of space, charging station and individual bed lights. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi worked very well. The hotel was very, very clean and had a lot of charm. The wainscoting and grey painted hallways were darling and everything seemed bright and updated. We would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back.

I've stayed there with my gf for a weekend and overall experience is very good there. Staff is very cooperative and friendly we don't face any problem there. Imo there should be some changes should be made to improve the customer experience. the welcome is not too much lovely as we received welcome in another hotel of london. So I thing they should also think about welcoming the customers. When we are with our girl/lady we enjoy a warm welcome by the hotel. Thanks.

Almost impossible to give 1 star (because you cannot give 0). This place was a hovel. We have the pics. When my girlfriend visited, it had ripped carpets, damp, 4 beds in a room that was meant to be a double. The manager was really rude and told her to leave when she complained about the room. Refused to give money back — the whole thing! Stay Clear.

Great hotel for a very reasonable price. When I stayed there, they gave me a room that was one block away from the main building, but it was really good and it had a small kitchen. The location is the best, since it is really close to King’s Cross-St. Pancras station. I have stayed in a couple of other hotels in the area and they were really horrible – unclean rooms and rude staff. Jesmond Dene has very clean rooms, helpful staff and a safe environment.

This is a nice hotel because it is close to the subway, but for the price, I found that the room was rather point average aesthetically, because side hygiene nothing to say.

Good hotel, clean rooms. In the heart of the city. Just 5 minutes away from platform 9 3/4. The breakfast is okay. Everyday bread or cornflakes is a bit monotonous. (I don't like the English Breakfast — it is just too much ^^) But overall a good hotel.

A great place to stay. The room (number 1 with ensuite) is very small, and the bathroom is really tiny. But there is everything you need and the managers are very friendly and helpful. The area is perfect for getting around, King's cross is just a few stops from all the most interesting places in London. The price is not really popular, but the breakfast is great and the cleanliness impeccable.
